Paris Sao Paulo

Such a pity that this line is so overlooked... I own Mascate, Izmir and São Paulo and the quality is amazing on all of them! I would say São Paulo sits between Lattafa ́s Khamrah and Brecourt ́s Farah... spicier than the first, sweeter than the later... I don ́t find it as well rounded as Angel ́s Share or Ambre D ́Alexandrie... to my nose, just as Farah and Khamrah, São Paulo has an initial blast of piercing spices (lots cinnamon for sure and cardamom) that almost makes me sneeze if I put my nose up too close to my wrist... and it sure is difficult to stop myself from doing it! Dry down comes with a reminder of Paris-Mascate ́s dry amber. Sweet, resinous and long lasting. Addictive!

"this is lovely for the price" - the real price of the fragrance is $200, the outlet price is $55-105. This is a fab fragrance no matter the price in my mind. This frag lasts longer and is blended far better than most. This is a feminine fragrances in a man's world of liquor. It is great in the Spring but can be worn all year round. The entire line is very well done.

Ohh what a delight !!! A booze cinnamon, vanilla and tonka - it’s like Thanksgiving in the bottle! Love this - for winter only ..I think :)) Update! Simply can't get enough it ...Also it's layering incredibly with many frags..Deep Love !!!

This is simply divine! Very quick has become one of my favorite boozy fragrances...

I own Angels Share and did own Khaltat Night. I'd say Sao Paulo smells more like Angels Share, but with a butteryness. I much prefer SP just because everyone wears AS. I don't know what in SP gives it that butter facet, but it keeps it from being too similar to AS and I honestly don't find it redundant to own both. AS lasts a bit longer on me, but I prefer SP. I don't know if this is discontinued because it was hard to track down.

Very sweet, boozy, spicy and quite heavy on cinnamon. The fragrance is soft and pleasant, perhaps a tad too sweet and spicy for summer, but suitable for other seasons. The longevity is incredible. I sprayed it yesterday around 5-6pm, and now it's 10:30am, and I can still smell it! Honestly, I like the dry down even better than the initial spray.

Cozy, spicy, sweet boozy, cold weather fragrance. In the same ball park as : Parfums de Marly Herod, Kilians Angels Share. Totally unisex if you ask me. Worth trying.

Top notes reminds me of my Grandmother's sour cherry compote, that's all I can think about in the first minutes.

Amazing gourmand boozy scent, amazing! For sure worth the attention of sweet spicy boozy perfume lovers. I would not compare it to Anges Share because after trying it that perfume didn't pop in my mind, just after looking at Fragrantica I thought maybe... maybe... but no. I think it is totally different. But this is so nice not posh but has a very nice and attractive vibe, not light and airy, but dense sweetness with cinnamon and it is so nice. I love how it doesn't smell like pure liqueur but when you smell it you would not even think that much that this is rum note that's how nice and dense it is. There is softness in it that makes this perfume very enjoyable. It does leave a very nice trail and the longevity is very on point, at least 8-10h for sure with solid projection. Very beautifully made scent with a rum note. I think a lot of perfumes that want to go to that category are based on Angel Share these days, and I like how this perfume is very unique, doesn't feel like it is trying to be anything else I would definitely go for this as it feels luxurious, very well made, balanced and super attractive. For sure another winner from Carven, a beautiful beautiful creation!

This spicy, sweet, silky, feminine smell is really stunning. The performance is exceptional, with extended life, good silage, and projection. The top notes are cinnamon, rum, and bergamot; the middle notes are cardamom, orange blossom, and labdanum; and the base notes are vanilla, tonka bean, and patchouli. Lovely cinnamon-y amber. One of my favourite inebriated fragrances has rapidly become one of my favourites. Totally wonderful. A tonka bean, cinnamon, vanilla, and vanilla bean liquor. This is ideal for the cold months. Cinnamon blast. Cinnamon based blend with doses of tonka, vanilla, and slight booze. Lapdanum, and brown sugar are there as well and there is bits only of cardamom. I can detect orange blossom, patchouli, and sandalwood as well which gives the impression of a soft sweet leather. I remember when i first sniffed the collection, this was firstly the most impressive one out of the whole line, and as it cools down it goes bit sweeter till it reaches the maximum sweetness where cinnamon become the dominant note. Nice.

This is reminding me of a place, years ago. It reminds me of the health-food store that had a section where they sold a variety of incense sticks and candles & the bookstore that I would walk to nearby. It's also reminiscent of drinking Twinnings Ultra Spice Chai. Not that this actually smells like incense and tea... This is very warm and the cinnamon note is wonderful.

• Essentialy rum equires for more rough, harshy and more sharp notes, but maybe it's a stereotype? • As feminine rum scent it's good. Fresh bergamote, sweet(rock rose, orange blossom and tonka), I'd say juicy and fruity rum smthing like some rum coctail, that reminds of summer.

This is beautiful for the price, the deal on jomashop is crazy for what you’re getting. If you like the idea of lataffa khamrah, but made with smoother accords, and a more realistic fruity booze note, then I’d suggest getting this!
