Paris Tanger

Like getting slapped in the face with a wintery orchard at night. Perhaps one of the most literally fresh fragrances out there. I was absolutely amazed at how "cold" it smells. I know people rush to say it's a summer/spring daytime kind of fragrance, which is the usual reaction to citrusy blends but to me personally my instant association when I had my first whiff is a cold winter night. It smells at first like cold wind, having the impact of very strong mint without smelling like mint. I don't know how to describe it otherwise. The citrus here is amazing and the grapefruit is very consistent, turns somewhat spicy with hints of lavender after a while. If you've ever had the pleasure of wandering through an orchard on a winter night, then this is it. I think it is the ultimate aftershave smell, which is what makes it such a profoundly manly smell but in a very different way - it's not leather, or some dark aroma, it's insanely bright in a way that reminds me how I feel after a good shave. Wearing it after a shower and a shave is pure bliss. A very elegant smell, masculine in the most refined and delicate way, intoxicating and unique without being obtrusive in any way. This I think, can be worn any time any day - I now understand why people say it's a summer scent but I still think that this one differs from other citrus frags, because appropriating it to cold winter nights really brings out the luxury and the masculine spirit this one has. My only complaint is that I think it's not a very strong perfume so some of the main notes seem to die down fairly quickly. Also, expensive. But damn is this a new favorite for me. Perhaps the most complimentary smell to complete a good shave. Alternative masculine spin, at last.

This is a great summer scent. It opens with a quite-realistic grapefruit and other citrusy notes and dries down to a light spicy/woody scent. The grapefruit note is linear and I can notice it for hours. This makes me very happy as it is one of my favorite notes. Performance is great for me even in very hot and humid weather. Currently this is my favorite fresh perfume for the summer. It reminds me a bit of Bleu de Chanel EDP, but the notes seem more natural. After 2 Months of using this scent I can definitely say that it has replaced BdC EDP as my preferred office-friendly freshie. It has a very similar vibe but the quality is much higher.

Remarkable summer scent. The opening has won my heart and I had to purchase it the moment I've smelled it. Longevity Is above average for a citrus based fragrance. Worth every penny.

This is absolutely lovely. Very citrusy and fresh in the beginning but evolves quickly into a deeper spicy smell. I have a sample but would happily buy a full bottle.

Great summer fragrance! The grapefruit is dominant and its very woody... Lasts on me all day long and has great projection...its expensive but worth every dollar...

Does nothing for me. There's way better grapefruit scents. I barely feel any of the notes, certainly not the woods. Nothing special to see here.

A decidedly clean and fresh fragrance but not as cold as described. It has sweetish musky notes. It reminds me of perfumes from the beginning of the millennium like Gucci Rush for men or similar. I would define it as a cologne. Delicious sugary citrus.

Seems all this line is crazy good With high quality and well chosen formula. This one is no different and irs interesting, spicy,citrussy and just good.
