Extension 5 :December 21, 2024 Strangely, today I do a fun sniff test at night (yeah as always) but sudden I found this close to Xerjoff Richwood???. No a real close but like you amp up rose and lavender, shift it to strong aromatic experience. But medicinal side and musk at base and the way its build. Try sniff... ==== This is magical. This probably actual scent of Breast’s castle from Beauty and the beast. Open strong punch of herb garden almost Like herb salad, clean - futuristically vintage, their is also Camphor/Eucalyptus quality to it. This is the most harsh part of this fragrance. Suddenly, it’s transporting you to graden. Rose is come out but it’s not fresh rose. Not red jammy rose. Someone explain it as Steam rose. Yes, it’s airy and sweet. More like rose petal. The dusty feels starts to sneak in. It’s not sandalwood wood. I believe it’s Skeleton flower note. It’s very dry - dusty. Almost like pine of dust left from coat furniture untouched for a while. It’s smell like memory for a far. When it dry down, all the top (the herb salad) gone. It’s remains only a trace of aromatic. The middle, the steam rose just left faintly on skin. What remains is the dry - dusty note and the smooth sandalwood. Left their and await for revisiting again. I believe this is my first true niche fragrance. Fragrance as an art from. PLEASE DO NOT BLIND BUY This is not mass-appealing in anyway possible. But it evokes imagination and provide a desire to revisit for another journey.. How can this be futuristic from the past? I am not understand it yet but I will spray and go for another journey for sure. A decant is a must but full bottles is questionable. Unscoreable. ==== Edit 1 : Feb 22, 2023. I give this so many wear and it really grow overtime. I would say this is very comforting scent for me. I put only 1 spray before sleep and will be feel so refresh the next day. I don't know why, but this scent is so comforting. Lift me from any stress in daily life. Transport me another Magical place. Lets me travel in the great imaginary and send me back safely on my comfy bed. I know, it's bazaar right? How can that be possible? But this how I truly feel toward Casa Futura. Will repurchase if this 50 ml. run out. 10/10 ===== Edit 2 : Sep 30, 2023 I revisit him, actually I never wear him quite a while. I still remember the scent but my nose are now a bit more mature. But I still appreciates this beauty, maybe even more. Casa Futura, is Sandalwood x Rose fragrance however it is not really frightening to wear. The aromatic might be slightly strong but all in all. I would still petty much call this a rose fragrance. Those herb is strong here I still fairly insist in Champor quality. But what I pick up more is smooth powdery sandalwood that underneath. This is hard to understand fragrance. Tbh, I now prefers scent that are more easily understanding. But it is sure beautiful. I think this is only rose dominant scent from 1888 casamorati line. I still loves from the first day I got him until now. Score 10/10 ===== Edit 2, May 6, 2024 My taste develop to somewhere between “spicy floral amber earthy woody incense and amber” throw in some fun fruity from time to time. But I still, love CasaFutura. I feel I crave for Fougere, or aromatic. My nose just a bit tried of Amber utilize a lot in my kind of fragrance. I need something light but heavy enough to last. CasaFutura; If I would classifed. It would be Aromatic-Woody, with strong floral support. But; somehow borrow element from Fougere. Being Geranium, Rose and Lavender. The trio classic of Fougere. I think, if I understand. My first comment back last year. “The dusty feels starts to sneak in. It’s not sandalwood wood. I believe it’s Skeleton flower note. It’s very dry - dusty. Almost like pine of dust left from coat furniture untouched for a while. It’s smell like memory for a far.” Normally Fougere, apart from being strongly herbaceous. Can have powdery heart (Like Chanel BOY or Guerlain Jicky). I think we can see an attempt to create powdery effect here but other way round, merge with musk and sandalwood. Cedar, can have smoke undertone. And I think this where most people perceive as smoke/incense scent. This is strong in that aspect. And I do agree this overcome composition a bit, also - cedar hardly be part of any Fougere due too strong woody profile, also earthy patchouli. So, this falls somewhere between Aromatic-Woody and Fougere. But from my nose, and heart. This leans aromatic woody. I think, CasaFutura tried to preserve the beautiful rose heart. Which almost impossible as it often crash witj Tonka / Vanilla note. End with woody, might be true good idea. If we want rose at heart. Nonetheless, I still love here like the same day I got here but my quest for next Fougere still remains. 10/10 Ps. (May 28) : This is Iso-E-Super chemical base fragrance which quite prominent mid of the day. (4 hours post wear), this is long-lasting and strong at least 3-4 hours. I believe, Lavender is authentic here.

People can hate all they want, I don't care. I love this! It's an aromatic woody floral lavender bomb. The (subtle) musks in this one is to die for 😍 Has amazing transitions, good performance and borderline mass but done in niche quality, if that makes sense. People sometimes forget that not all fragrances are meant to smelled close on skin. You don't have to dive your nose deep in to like this. It smells like heaven in the air! Leaves an intoxicated scent trail. I don't remember anyone who smelled this on me and wasn't impressed. Only the fragrantica's snobs would hate something as beautiful as casafutura. It smells like a luxurious bar of soap that you wished you can afford. Has an amazing calming effect. It's clean, so it's also a happy scent. How can anyone hate something like this is beyond me, but that's ok because It will be my secret weapon 😎

This is so aromatic and sooo soo intense! I actually like it very much, it`s extremly fresh and has a very intense smell of herb oils, I can smell the rosemary a looot and I detect thyme too although is not listed there.I dont think I can pull this off although I love the smell.I think is more masculine and has that intoxicating smell that you can find in gasoline. I can detect some rose after 30 min or so ,its a dark rose,kind of jammy, but the herbs take a lot from that sweetness,it appears more sour and bitter.Because of that sour touch I believe it is some thyme into it.

Take the "cement" vibe and coldness of "Noir Anthracite", the geranium note from "zino" and the rose note from versace "versus" man, mixed them together and you'll have casafutura. More or less. A Big love from me. A Truly modern classic perfume.

It’s like you bathed in water full of flowers and milk and got rubbed down with scented oils. You get dressed by a small army of people waiting on you and you head off to have tea in a lavishly manicured garden.

Wow, it's really beautiful and unique. I smell rose, lavender and somekind of herbs. It's aromatic and fresh. Gives me an expensive SPA lounge vibe. I really like it.

I feel it's unisex but when dry dawn in my skin more masculine then feminine side but still soft and I got many Lavender with Musk and Sandalwood 😊

great fragrance, smells really good

Hated it til I found use for it. When you first spray this you can not escape the barbershop smell opening. I have heard people say that smell a lot with other frags, why would anyone want to smell like a barbershop? The world may never know. It then fades into a green floral scent that I grew to respect. I was so used to wanting fragrances to be super powerful and strong smelling that I didn't appreciate this characteristic about Casafutura. Someone down in the comments says it smells like a a bath mixed with flowers and milk in it ,and I can see that after the opening smell. As feminine as that sounds, it still has masculinity to it I'm assuming because of the musk note. Another well crafted fragrance. So subtle yet complex. This my new work scent replacing my beloved Jaipur Homme. Again, masculine, subtle and green. I see some women in the reviews. I can see how the dry down can be unisex but that barbershop opening smell makes me closed minded for a woman to have

Based off a sample I just received.... Mmm yes I see the similarities with Penhaligons Savoy steam, which I do own. It does have same steamy rose quality that Savoy Steam has. However, SS is much smoother and warm (like actually steam!) The lavender and rosemary makes Casafutura sharper and more herbal, which isn’t a bad thing! I find this one quite addicting for some reason, I keep sniffing my arm. It’s quite unique and interesting. Unisex, all season, all occasion. Not blind buy safe at all!!

To my nose this smells quite unique for a perfume. I get a little bit of rose and musk, but mostly it's the sandalwood that stands out. I live in India and Casafutura reminds me of a lot of sandalwood soaps we get here. I do understand the soapy reference by some reviewers, but for me "soapy" paints a different picture. This is sandalwood soap or incense in Indian shops/temples. Not full-bottle worthy to be worn regularly, but good to keep a small decant for occasions.

Found a small bottle for $60. Totally worth it at that price. Full bottle just more than double, also worth it. Just under 7 hours of wear. I have worn it a few times now and all about the same. Stays longer on clothes, of course. The best way I can describe it: A watery version of Beau de Jour with spikes. If you can make sense of that. Nice.

Not sure why, but this scent broke my brain. I almost thought there is tuberose, looked at the notes, didn’t find it and am still puzzled. The opening is fougere style, but after 10 min it becomes something super unique. Very unisex, I enjoy it so much!

Very interesting scent. Aromatic.....herbal...dry florals... I just can't explain fully, so I would say unique scent. Rose, but not really, just suggested. Dry down goes sorta flat on my skin. Further wear needed,

Another winner by my fav house! After Oud Stars, this line is also full of amazing scents! I don’t find this super masculine at all. In fact, the opening leans quite fem with a freshness. Perfect for spring!

To my nose it smells like Xerjoff's take on 02 L'Air du Desert Marocain. I did not like the opening but is much better in the dry down. Smells better than the rating fragrantica has for it.

I don’t know why the rating is so low. It’s not boring, quite clever rose scent, the only rose scent I like actually and am intrigued by. I really like the early opening and the dry down.

everytime i smell this i imagine myself at my countyside house sitting next to the fresh laundry

Clean Soapy, Green, Old-school. Geranium, Rosemary, Lavender, Musk; Woods are not as prominent on my skin. Smells clean and I think it's office safe. There is floral bitterness which I cannot exactly put my finger around. Maybe this is what "skeleton flowers" accord is. This has Nag Champa-esque vibe around it, when you are smelling the stick out of the package. Reminds me of old-school masculine barbershop-smell; Lavender soap. I would wear it, but would not reach out actively to wear it.

What a nonsense...Casafutura smelling vintage! It's not ugly but I would never wear such a perfume however i could understand someone liking it. It's just not for me as I'm not into vintage nor into powdery ones.However I cannot get over the nonsense between the name suggesting future and the actual vintage fragrance

Overpowering medicinal rosemary perfume with bits of airy rose and lavender. Very bright, camphorous, herbal. Moderately strong projection for ~3hr, longevity 12hr+.

To me this smells like the cheapest incense sticks - especially the ones that are ‘perfumed’ with abstract notes. Like a cheap mountain air incense stick

Smells exactly as you imagine: green and aromatic, reminds me of Colonia Futura by acqua di Parma. Not bad, but nothing new here.

INSECT REPELLENT OR MUMMIFICATION MATERIAL 👀 [1] - I tried so hard to understand this perfume, I tried so hard to find something that might impress me in this perfume, but unfortunately, I did not find anything special in this perfume other than the elegant golden bottle that the liquid inside it does not deserve. [2] - I apologize in advance, if I am offending anyone, but this liquid called perfume reminds me of my very bad experience with ( Bade'e Al Oud Oud for Glory by Lattafa ), It's definitely not as bad as that perfume, but it's still bad for me, honestly I don't know why they make such liquids, which are like an insect repellent or a mummification material. [3] - If I were in the place of the officials at Xerjoff house, I would stop the production of this liquid and withdraw it from all markets. [4] - My advice is to stay away from this perfume, no matter how curious you are. [5] - It is not easy for me to write with dissatisfaction about any perfume, but I do it out of love, because perfume lovers are lovers of everything beautiful and there is no place for hatred in their hearts.

I saw that the reviews on this one were low, but I decided I wanted to test it anyway. I really like rosemary, especially if it's blended into a kind of incense/sandalwood. I figured maybe a lot of people who like xerjoff were particular fans of gourmands and that's maybe why they didn't like this one. Well, the other reviewers were right. It's an aromatic for sure, but quite sharp and actually rather unpleasant. I like most of the notes in this, so I have no idea how they're blended or what else is in there to produce the sharpness. I see that RisingChaos used the term "medicinal" - I think that's exactly the right word. There's something medicinal about this. In any case, one test was enough to make it very clear that this isn't for me. Didn't enjoy at all unfortunately.

This is a rose dominant scent on me – a bit soapy, a bit musky, and very powdery. It definitely brings to mind quintessential “perfume” vibes; like what I thought all perfumes were as a child. The start is nicely herbaceous with the rosemary note shining, but that fades pretty fast. It’s overwhelming for my tastes, definitely too rose forward and too powdery to be a clean or fresh scent on my skin. Silage and longevity are insane though – this will last through the day and fill a room! Update: 7 hours in and suddenly the lavender and sandalwood have arrived! Smells amazing to me now that it's softened a bit and the rose has finally faded away. I wish it didn't take quite so long to reach this point...

I do appreciate old school fragrances, while this is a newer release it exudes “old”. The florals are very strong, with a musky base. Unisex leaning feminine in my mind, but not youthful at all. I would much rather spend less and get a solid classic scent than pay higher for this beastly one. This performs really well, too well IMO as it’s so overbearing. It fills a room for sure, but I think it will be too divisive to pull off. I have an issue where I become very self conscious if I realize a scent I am wearing is “loud”. As many know, when this happens you heat up and as a result the scent gets louder and louder...I could never pull this one off

Old granny perfume mixed with the base notes of any of the more challenging, offputting Amouages. Combine those and you get this absolutely terrible scent. What I also don't get is why this has all the characteristics of a male perfume, yet it smells so oldwoman-ly. If they tried to reinvent an age-old classic here, they failed miserably. I hope Chris Maurice didn't put his name on this. A fair and honest dislike from me.

Leaned more feminine than I’d hoped. Rose is just one those notes that I don’t like unless it’s on someone else. It opened very aromatic with the rosemary leading way. It was more of a sharp astringent rosemary, not a fresh one. As the aromatics subside the rose emerges getting more prominent with time & lasted the life of it. High quality & had that Xerjoff/Casamorati signature. Bad blind buy for me though.

Man, I really hoped there was gonna be at least a little femininity in this one based on the reviews. Spoiler alert! There is not. On me it is screechy, sharp, herbal and medicinal. Maybe with different skin chemistry, maybe on a man it could live up to the Xerjoff name. Big time barbershop vibes for sure.

Nope. Just Nope. It smells like herbs. Rosemary essential oil is all I get.

One of the few perfumes I genuinely hate. It smells like a very old woman’s coat heavy with powder but also a cloying mothball-like scent, and makes me think there are Ricola cough drops in their pocket with the slight herbal notes. It’s so overbearing it makes me frown with disgust when I smell it. Horrible.

Had high hopes for this maybe I’m just not trained, but to me this fragrance reminds me of my grandmother‘s bathroom and like old ladies, I can see how someone might like it, but this is just reminding me too much of my grandmother

یکی از سکسی ترین رُزها تو این عطره. . خیلی هم رز غالبی داره. . درحدی که میتونی بگی این عطر بیشتر گلی هست تا آروماتیک. . . تو بعضی عطرای رُز حس و حال بوزی هم حس میشه . اینم ازهموناس حالا تنگش ژرانیومم باشه. ژرانیوم بویی شبیه به رز داره با حس و حال سرسبزی. . درمجموع ابن عطر ، یه عطر رز و سبز هست که رزش میچربه. با آکورد آروماتیک به اشتباه نیفتید. عطر خوشبویی هست اما به شرط اینکه رز رو دوست داشته باشین. ماندگاری و پخششم که عالی. من نظرم اینه این عطر یونیسکس به سمت زنونه س. خیلی فلاوری هست. .آکوردا رو هم دیدم ولی فلاوری و رزی هست. تست کنیدش قبل خرید

Very aromatic. Can't really say what else I'm smelling because the aroma overpowers everything. Contrary to what others are saying, I think it's way more masculine than feminine. It's good... nothing I'd die for though, personally. Overall: 7.75/10, however considering price probably closer to 7/10

I don’t understand how people vote on these notes when Casafutura doesn’t smell like that at all. I had gerarium, lavander and rosemary in my garden and none of them smell like this. All this fragrance smells like is is a suffocating black pepper.

I believe this is missing patchouli as one of the notes. Per the Xerjoff website: Top Notes are rosemary, lavender, bergamot; Middle Notes are rose and patchouli; Base Notes are cedarwood and musk.

Im sure the rating is low, because most people don’t know how to use perfume! Spraying, and sniffing right away, using it during wrong weather etc.

Just got this last November. It’s a very spicy winter scent . I’m a xjeroff and casamorati collector. This is my first time commenting on here.

Casafutura is more like Casa Vintage 🤣. I like the scent, however its not a full bottle worthy for me. Its a masculine vintage smell for me.

I weirdly like this, despite all the hate it's getting. LOL! It's a lovely all year round freshie, in my opinion. LOL!

Even if the pyramid is totally different, this smells like a more refined/pleasant Montale Blue Amber to my nose.
