Dolce Amalfi

A total "Blind-Buy" SCOOORE! I am so glad that I FINALLY pulled the trigger on this fragrance bc I was torn after reading that this has "Mediocre performance" which it DOES NOT! Dolce Amalfi has really good lasting-power (7 to 8 hours on skin) but does get somewhat close to the skin after hour 2 Id say, but thats with only like 4 spritzes and I can see this being quite potent with just a few more sprays. When I'd Read/Heard that Dolce Amalfi smelled like Wrigley's Juicy Fruit! Gum I was super intrigued to say the least bc Ive always loved the taste of Juicy Fruit Gum and while no other gum or candy taste like JuicyFruit, Dolce Amalfi really does manage to capture nuances of that classic bubble gum, although Im sure that's NOT what Xerjoff was actually going for. Again, I say "Nuances" bc to my nose Dolce Amalfi doesn't smell exactly one to one like "Juicy Fruit Gum" as it wears much, much more Spicey vs Fruity because the Cloves Note is very prominent here and is almost slightly "Medicinal" which I actually love about this dna, but can see how that slightly "Medicinal Clove" can be really devisive. Good thing is that the Medicinal aspect is only in the opening and completely dissapears within 5 minutes or so. This also transitions and gets quite Vanillic the further it goes into the dry-down while remaining softly spicey which is why I can't emagine Dolce Amalfi being worn comfortably during Spring/Summer like so many YouTube reviews claim it can! To me its just NOT Fruity enough for a Spring/Summer wear and is why I feel this is much better suited for Fall/Winter like 100% and the Fruity nuances just serve to make this dna a bit more "Playful" while still remaining quite "mature smelling". Dolce Amalfi is 100% Unisex imo, has great performance although its not "Beastmode" imo, but does have the potential to be with 7 to 8 spritzes. A (Rare from me) 9 outta 10, unique take on a Gormand and tottaly worth the $150 I paid for a 3.4oz larger bottle. I love this scen and highly recommend it for folks 25 and up, plus the bottle and packaging are quite beautiful! Indeed! Persistant? YES! "BeastMode" NEGATIVE! When folks claim Dolce Amalfi smells like Wrigley's Juicy Fruit Gum, they are SPOT ON, but the scent is much spicier with a heavy, GORGEOUS, slightly medicinal-Clove note which helps it lean more "Unisex" rather than Feminine and also makes it more suited for folks say, 25 years old and up. Also, the scent is quite linear which is fine by me bc I don't get tired or bored of smelling it. With around 6 to 7 spritzes Dolce Amalfi does project "Well" for the first hour to hour and a half, then I'm left with a moderate, yet very persistant sillage. Btw, the "Medicinal" aspect wears off quickly within 15 to 20 minutes as it begins to dry-down. This scent does last atleast 8 to 9 hours on skin creating a very pleasant yet soft, lingering scent bubble and does lasts a day or two on clothes. What I really appreciate about Dolce Amalfi besides the gorgeous scent is that I dont go nose-blind to it, and although its NOT a hugh projection beast, I catch whiffs of it through out the entire day. As for right now, Dolce Amalfi is my all time FAVE "Fruity Scent" and I give it a 9 outta 10! I do sometimes wish it projected a bit more, but if that were the case I may have been going nose-blind to it and therefore would'nt be able to enjoy smelling it throughout the day which means that it may just have THEE PERFECT amount of projection so that I/We can enjoy the wear vs only those around us being able to enjoy (or dislike) how we smell. My first Xerjoff and Im SO GLAD that Dolce Amalfi was the first from this house in my collection! I LOVE Dolce Amalfi! P.S. The Packaging and Bottle are TOP NOTCH! Veeery nice! Dolce Amalfi is my favourite fall fragrance to wear from my Xerjoff collection. It’s such an addictive, beautiful amber, resinous, warm spicy, fruity perfume having as star notes cloves and quince. This and Pas ce Soir have opened my eyes to how beautiful this underrated fruit can make a fragrance smell. It’s the top tier fruit in my eyes! Anyway, back to Dolce Amalfi. This is completely unique to anything else I have ever tried. To me smells like sweet, candied orange/apple/quince dessert with cloves and cardamom. The cloves here are unmistakable. It has a wonderful, fragrant almost pear like opening that stays out for the whole life of the fragrance and then it gets blended into vanilla, ambery notes, a bit of musk and cedar wood. The incense is used here mostly to add warmth to the blend, I don’t detect it specifically as a standalone note. But it’s masterfully blended with the base notes: vanilla, tonka beans, myrrh, cloves and tolu balsam. It has a strong, warm, cozy feel to it, this could be an ideal candidate for holidays or winter festivities as well. I associate Dolce Amalfi mostly with fall because of the colour of the bottle, that warm, orange-brown shade makes me instantly think of the yellow leaves falling off the trees. The only downside of Dolce Amalfi is the moderate longevity and projection. It lasts for 5-6 hours on me and projects for about an hour and a half. Beautiful fragrance, deliciously complex, with heavy gourmands facets. Unique and fun in the same time. If you’re into quince, this one is a must have!

Utterly gorgeous, luminous, juicy, spicy, resinous fragrance that is pure magic on my skin. It does have bubblegummy (yes, at the surface level it does smell like Juicy Fruit, albeit the most luxurious Juicy Fruit you could possibly imagine) ice creamy shades, but only a smidge - this is a complex fragrance with facets that reveal themselves only after repeated wearings. My first few wearings were dominated by the fruity quince, apple, vanilla, and spices (still a potent and delicious combination), but now the incense and tolu balsam stick out to my nose, making this an even more beautiful and nuanced composition. One thing has remained prevalant throughout my testing of Dolce Amalfi, however, and that is a lovely vanilla - silky, buttery smooth - that leaves an irrestibile aroma in its wake. I am plowing headlong through my 5ml decant and will without doubt be coughing up the cowries for at least a 30ml bottle, only around $100. As far as I know, of the Casamorati line only Dolce Amalfi and Mefisto are available in 30ml, and as much I love fragrances like 1888, Fiero, Regio, and Italica, my wallet cringes at their price tags. But for ~$100 at 30ml, I can still own this beautiful fragrance from the oh-so-wonderful but oh-so-expensive house of Xerjoff. If you're looking for a truly unique, impeccably blended, fruity, complex, and totally unisex warm weather fragrance, look no further than Dolce Amalfi. 9/10

Man! So Ive reviewed Dilce Amalfi before so this is an update, but Im just so confused as to why folks think this smells like "Hubba Bubba gum" imo it CLEARLY DOES NOT! Now it does somewhat resemble Wrigleys Juicy Fruit Gum just with A LOT more Clovey Goodness and with a slight "Medicinal Touch" which imo grounds Dolce Amalfi's dna and truley adds to the wearing experience while helping it smell more "Mature" vs smelling like a Teeney Boppers bubble gum scent. (Yes I said Teeney Bopper! Lawd Im OLD!!🤣) Also, while I get that fragrance is subjective, Im confused as to why folks claim that Dolce Amalfi makes a great Spring/Summer scent? This scent is quite heavy, spicey and sweet so I dunno whats up with that? Im guessing its the name "Dolce Amalfi" as in Amalfi Coast? Plus the artwork on the package along with the Sunny-yellow bottle doesnt help! I dunno, jusy wanted to touch on those things. As for the updated review, Dolce Amalfi has Maturated nicely over the last 4 months gaining better all around performance and becoming even smoother that it was initially. I totally recommend Dolce Amalfi for Fall/Winter and mmmmaybe spring evenings, but if worn during summer id do no more than 2 to 3 spritzes. Otherwise Id say 6 spritzes is perfect for a full day wear! CHEERS!

Ladies and gents, this is the fragrance that triggered my obsession and love for niche perfumery. I was looking for a summer fragrance and my friend convinced me to go into this big niche perfume shop. Looking at the name I thought it was a fresh, summer fragrance - I was wrong. I sprayed it on my hand, walked around the store then left. I could smell something really nice around me but I couldn't really tell what it was. My friend told me that the whiff is coming from my wrist, and I realized it was Dolce Amalfi, I went back and bought it, my first niche fragrance. I was astonished by how different it smelled from the designer fragrances I was used to. It's a warm, spicy aromatic fragrance, I see how some people perceive it as a bubble gum scent, but on me, it smells like warm lemon cookies, and the best compliment I received indirectly was when someone from my office asked who brought lemon cookies to work, and they were quite disappointed when they learned it was just my perfume. I've already finished the small 30ml bottle, and I'm halfway through the 100ml one. I do overspray (around 10 sprays), but it lasts on me around 6 hours with good projection.

I've had this fragrance for about a year now & thought I had already reviewed it but I can't find my review, so here it is. I love this scent & I'm not reminded of my love for it until I wear it. It smells like nothing else out there. The quince note is very unique. It's fruity but not the scent of a typical fruit. It's hard to describe. My nose has changed in a year. I didn't like spices as notes in fragrances but now I enjoy the warm aspect of them. Cardamom is my favorite spice note in fragrances. The dry down is my favorite part. The combo of, vanilla, tonka bean, amber, cedar & musk makes this scent last all day. I wore this to work one day and by the end of the day I still felt the scent projecting around me. This scent definitely lasts. If you feel like it doesn't you probably just go nose blind to scents after smelling them for some time during wearing them. If you're seeking a unique fruity, spicy & warm scent this definitely is one to try.

Wow! When Id first recieved my brand-new bottle I wasn't too impressed with the projection/sillage of Dolce Amalfi, well since I own so many frags I hadn't worn it in say, 3 months or so. Well I sprayed one spritz on my arm a few hours ago and that single spritz on my forearm now keeps radiating and reaching my nose hours into the wear! There's certainly something to be said for Maturation even when it comes to "Niche Fragrances." The Clove note seems more prominent now as well having gained a slightly more medical smell which I am totally digging right now although after about 30 minutes the "medicinal aspect" smoothes out and melds beautifully with the Quince fruit. Smells absolutely rich, soft/spicey, fruity-sweet and stunning! My fave "Fruity fragrance" hands down! And YES! Smells like a more Clovey and Vanillic - Juicey Fruit Gum and I'm here for it! 100% Unisex and lasts a good 8 to 9 hours on skin if not more. CHEERD!

It definitely does smell almost exactly like Juicy Fruit gum upon application and I'm here to say without question that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT ! ! ! It's unisex right down the middle, neither leaning feminine nor masculine in my opinion, with a beautiful, bright, vibrant and juicy sweetness right at the opening that is literally mouth wateringly fresh and realistic. In the mid the amber, saffron and a nice powdery feel start to come out and become more noticeable as it dries down. In the base the spices shine and truly round everything out. I honestly think this stuff is great and as a man I actually have gotten more wear out of it than my wife, though we both love it quite a bit and live in the humid, southern United States region where a fragrance like this is bound to get lots of wear. I highly recommend anyone who can sample it if you get the opportunity!

Smells like limoncello an italian liquor, to the uneducated comments who says this doesn't smell like amalfi: "it is called dolce di amalfi, because limoncello is a sweat liquor made of lemons famous in the campania region" Suitable also for men i found it a bit romantic, very hard to wear though, it's such a playful fragrance, it is right cloves are the dominant note here but in a very sweet and refreshing way, i also found the ingredients very well blended. in the skyn it's even better then in the air the cloves are not so overwhelming as in the air although i would loved the lemon note to be more persistent in the opening. longevity and projection are good but nothing too overwhelming, maybe a bit undertone for the pricepoint... suitable for both men and woman, i would not wear it in hot temperature because of the warmness of it. to me it's a 8/10

Delicious. The olfactory journey it offers begins with a vibrant and spicy opening thanks to the luminous notes of saffron, quince, and cardamom, which immediately give a delicate but incisive fruity-spicy sensation. The heart is warm and resinous, dominated by cloves and incense with a balsamic and slightly sweet vein given by toluq, which adds dimension and depth. The base is one that cuddles and comforts you throughout: a rich blend of soft vanilla, creamy tonka bean, smoked cedar, and amber musk, offering a lovely, enveloping finish without being overly sweet or cloying. Another tribute to the many facets of Italianness, presented here as a spicy-gourmand-fruity fragrance that, to be enjoyed to the fullest, can be worn during spring and early summer. Average performance: approximately 6 hours of longevity, with proportionate projection.

Such a fun and interesting fragrance. Absolutely unique in my large collection. A juicy fruity, yet spicy and powdery concoction! I can see this being worn during all seasons and having the different aspects of the scent come forward/ shift with the weather. I find this very feminine, but I suppose a man could also wear it. I am not getting a lot of the woody notes so far- just sprayed 10 minutes ago so this is very much a first impression. So happy I blind bought this after diligently researching it. Another masterpiece by Xerjoff! Hours later and it definitely reminds me of Chopard Casmir in the dry down. The opening is quite unique tho with the quince note coming through strong. The opening is Definitely not the same as Casmir, but the dry down they become very similar. I adore Casmir so this isn’t a problem.

I fell in love with this after a sample and quickly ordered a FB. This is practically everything I love in a fragrance; it’s juicy and citrus forward while having a vanillic/incense base. Interestingly, the incense doesn’t pull smokey in Dolce Amalfi, but it serves to ground the fragrance and give it weight and complexity. To me, it truly smells like a luxurious perfumed interpretation of juicy fruit gum. This is a fragrance that is indulgent, yet as another reviewer stated, doesn’t take itself too seriously. It lasts quite a long time and silage is rather moderate. I haven’t stopped wearing it since I bought it, an absolute love for me. Feels more suited to warmer weather, but is still appropriate for year round wear imo. Edit: I feel this is more of a spring/summer scent, it really shines during warm weather.

This is Love. I received some Xerjoff's samples and I'm quietly discovering them. Even if I'm not loving all of them, the quality is undeniable. Top quality. I sampled Lira first, absolutely fantastic, but for me it lacks that something special, the je ne sais quoi that makes you fall in love. Then I tried Dolce Amalfi. The first time there were cloves. Cloves. Cloves. It was all I could smell. Too much. I gave it another try a couple of days later, and it was love. Cloves, yes, and then spices, quince, incense, vanilla.... all mixed perfectly, a perfume with that wow factor I was looking for. Something special. This is definitely fbw for me. Unfortunately pricey, but you need just two sprays and it will last all day, so a 100 ml bottle will last forever. Birthday is coming.... :))

The quince gives this a touch of tartness at the opening but then Dolce Amalfi blossoms in the same way others from this house do so beautifully. As the top accord settles it blends perfectly with the spices, without the incense going smokey. Personally, I find clove a great pairing with amber. Here the clove and tolu balsam gently blend with the base accord, merging into a softly spiced vanilla musk that never turns dull. Once its fully settled onto skin, a creamy vanilla lingers. I guess you could say this isn't for summer but then - you and I probably run in different perfume circles - as with a bit of spritz control I find most perfumes to be fine year round ;) This leaves a lovely scent trail enchanting all those in its wake. Another delight from Casamorati!

Having just written a review for a beautiful Lancome flanker, it's time to get serious with a love of mine, Dolce Amalfi. I received a full bottle for my birthday, and this is heaven. This perfume is high quality, it morphs with my skin and one spray lasts till the next day. Usually when you wear a perfume, you leave a trail of the perfume you put on. This one is different, it's an aura you have around you, it almost seems it's an aura that emanates from you. I was told once that when you discover niche, nothing is the same anymore. Well.... I still love and will wear many well known fragrances and I'm not a snob in matters of perfume. I tested some niche houses that are nothing special, but Xerjoff/Casamorati are really worth it.

- Upon first sniff my mouth watered, this is so so so familiar. There is something everyone has smelled that is identical to this scent, I just can't rememebr exactly what. I 100% smell coca cola haribo gummy and those chupachups apple lollipops, depending which one you're thinking about while smelling it this is what this smells like. It's such a delight, it is not what I was expecting, but it's such a bright, sweet, happy scent, like you're 6 and you just got given a bag of apple chupachups/coca cola gummies - definitely a gourmand, just a different kind. To me this dries down to a chocolate fresh, juicy almost sour apple scent, like the opening is muted down and a sweet cacao creeps up

I blind bought this over the Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum. No regrets, I friggin love this scent. It's like the most expensive Juicy Fruit gum. The initial scent is a softly spiced, fresh, fruity citrus scent. The drydown is delicious candied Quince & vanilla. The scent in the air is amazing. The first time I wore it, I went to the store and heard a family behind me talking about "someone smells soo good, what is that?" Definitely a keeper. If you're worried about too much musk or cedar, don't be. I don't really like musks and sharp notes, but this is so smooth, you can hardly tell they're there. In fact, even the spices are tame. It's more sweet, amber-y, and fruity than anything.

Love it! It's totally unique. Nothing else smells like this. I'd class it an amber/oriental with fruit, incense and spice notes. A sunlit amber. Even though it's not listed I smell herbs and banana. Sounds weird but it works and keeps this from getting too sweet. It does have a Juicy Fruit smell, definitely. I can't deny that. It's more than that though. I love the woods and incense in the drydown. Not many people have mentioned the frankincense note, but it's here in all its glory. - incense - woods - vanilla. Dolce Amalfi is very versatile. You can wear it any season, any time of day. It's pretty potent and lasts longer than you'll be able to smell it on yourself.

Warm & Spicy......yes Tonka...................yes Vanilla..................yes Incense................yes Juicy Fruit Gum...yes Clove...................yes and the note I haven't seen anyone mention....BANANA! I get banana and I love it! Even though some may think it's "girly"...I have purchased a full bottle. I am comfortable with my masculinity... I will admit this is not a signature scent or something that you would wear all the time. You need to choose the right time to wear this and for me it will be casual daytime outings in the spring, fall and mild summer days. I have about 200 fragrances and nothing in my collection smells like Dolce Amalfi.

Juicy, spicy, bright, sweet, edible. Wow. It's almost a perfect gourmand. I was told that I smell like donuts, juicy fruity gum, pie, orange juice , etc. Despite all this, I cannot say it's completely unique. It resembles a number of other perfumes, slightly. Among those I could mention: Atelier Cologne Ambre Nue, Kenzo Tiger, Mandorlo di Sicilia, Ambre Narguille. but none of them are dupes. It's strong, delicious, long lasting. There is a very slight muskiness which I am not fond of, but overall the entire allure of this scent is delightfully sweet and mouth watering. Highly recommended to those who like life sweet and spicy.

"Kretek" cigarretes made from cloves is one of Indonesian best selling product. In fact, The VOC (Dutch East Indië) are stinking rich because of cloves they exploited from the islands of Molucca(Maluku) during it colonialism era(350 years) in Indonesia. The soonest you step your feet out off the airplane, this "kretek" smell will welcome you, it lingers in the air of this nation with 17500 islands. Smoking Kretek belongs to Indonesian bad culture. Magnificent, beautiful, spicy and sweet clove, like my birth country i left 25 years ago. This is Dolce Amalfi to me (minus the tobacco).

I lovingly refer to this one as spicy Juicy Fruit because that’s really what it is. It’s kind of nostalgic for me because I loved juicy fruit gum as a kid. This is a gourmand through and through, but really a fruity powerhouse. It is strong, cloying, and fun. It’s not something think I would normally go for, but I initially got it as a sample of the whole Casamorati line, and liked it so much I bought a bottle of it. It’s definitely not something that everyone will like, but if you like juicy fruit gum, sweet fruit bites with a bit of spice, give this a try.

Bitter Sweet jucy bubblegum just like the Quince fruit. Spicy yet fresh, a bit boozy but fruity ABSOLUTELY A LOVE FOR ME. The best Quince fragrance ever. Quince it’s such a bing thing in eastern Europe where I am from so it’s in my DNA to LOVE THIS AND I DO SO MUCH😍 Definitely can see that the perfumer is Bulgarian. Lasts 12 hours on me with GREAT projection and amazing skin scent after the 6hour mark. One of the best Xerjoff fragrances by far. Ratings Smell 10/10 Performance 10/10 Value 10/10 Smell 10/10 (under priced) OVR 10/10 CLEAN, no ifs or buts here

Brings me all the way back to Juicy Fruit chewing gum in the 80s/90s. If you know, you know! Makes me smile every time I smell it. It's a happy and carefree fragrance. It's not something I'd wear to go out but it is something I love to wear for fun. Harks back to a time before I had kids and a mortgage. Zero responsibilities. Work 9-5 on weekdays and go out dancing at the weekends. Good times encapsulated in a very pretty bottle. Longevity and silage are both strong. More of a casual daytime fragrance suitable for any season. Unisex, leaning more feminine.

It's definitely a grower! I've never smelled anything like it, it's really unique to me. When I first sprayed it, it reminded me a tiny bit of a subdued version of Friar's Balsam but as it warmed and deepened, it seemed creamy and gently spiced. Hard to pick up the top notes individually as Xerjoff's fragrances are seamlessly blended but the cloves, cardamom and base notes are detectable. A few hours in, it's really enjoyable. Would I be crazy to think it would layer with Ylang in Gold or even Sunshine Woman? Suggestions for layering?

I adore this, but somehow it makes me almost instantly go nose blind, and I can only smell it if I put my nose directly to the skin (although my husband confirms that he can smell it from distance). After the quince heavy opening it’s a gorgeous warm amber with soft spices. So versatile and easy to wear all year round, but most importantly excellent for summer wear. Finding a warm spicy scent that works in summer can be challenging, but this really hits the spot perfectly. Absolutely a 10/10 for me.

This really creeps up on you and makes you fall in love. Hard. The opening is citrus forward and reminds me of a rum punch with a spiced dark rum. Quince is a citrus forward fruit, think of a lemon and super ripe pineapple mixed up together- that’s what draws the juicy fruit comparisons (juicy fruit is pineapple, banana, and lemon flavors). I thought this would be a “just for me” feel good perfume, but I’ve actually been complimented wearing this a few times. Works for all seasons. Perfectly unisex.

As someone grown up in USSR it was hard for me at the beginning to abstract from the fact that combination of quince with cloves creates a note, identical to propolis based medicine I had to take as a kid. But note of quince is so beautiful here, apple, spices and vanilla create together such an unusual juicy combo with the twist. Cannot imagine it on a man, or I don’t know men whose personality it could match. Perfect for nearly any occasion, outfit or time of the year, I am addicted.

On my skin Dolce Amalfi smells like chinotto, an Italian carbonated drink. It surprises me that Citrus myrtifolia or myrtle-leaved orange isn't listed in the notes. I think if you've never smelled chinotto, you can compare it to Dr. Pepper or cola with bubblegum, but with a luxurious twist. It a sticky sweet herbal scent. Longevity 8+ hours on skin and 48+ hours on clothes. It's a bit loud, but if you aren't shy, go for it, because it smells lovely. It's a very happy scent.

One of my favorites! In my opinion, it’s the best from the Casamorati line. It makes me feel alive, though not in a playful way. It’s fun, yet spicy. For me, it’s the perfect Mediterranean summer scent: strong but not cloying, sweet but not juvenile. I live by the Mediterranean Sea, and it feels like a bottled version of gathering with friends at a beach bar in the evening, sipping cocktails, but dressed up elegantly, no bikinis or sandy butts allowed.

Must try. This definitely has a juicy fruit smell to it but with more spice going on. However, I can also see how others get rum and coke or apple pie. The fragrance is somewhat linear but that's not a problem for me. I easily get 8hrs with this one. Dolce Almalfi is unique yet it's also very likeable. If you've been in the game awhile you know that those two things are difficult to achieve. Needless to say, this has been added to dumb reach category.

I agree with another reviewer that this fragrance can feel overwealmingly spicy, but it's only when I've worn it on weather above 70 degrees. Otherwise this is sex in a bottle with smooth creamy clove and cardamom, delicate yet rich quince, and deep balsamic notes. This is my go to fall and winter fragrance alongside ambre tobac (another delicate, rich, longlasting scent). The perfume lasts all day, but it stays close to the skin after a few hours.

Such a lovely, distinctive perfume! It's hard for me to put my finger on any one particular note; to my nose, it's a beautiful blend of smooth/sweet/spiciness that lingers for hours. I don't really get the "spicy bubblegum" scent that others have mentioned, but I guess that's one of the reasons perfume is so fun - the experience is different for everyone. Update: I got a second sample of this and now I just get Dr. Pepper. IDK what happened.

This perfume is an alluring blend of boozy, balsamic, and fruity notes, reminiscent of bubblegum, atop a smoky base. The prominent clove adds depth, blending beautifully with the fruity accords. While some may find it overpowering, I love the warmth it adds to the fragrance. Initially, it didn't wow me, but I’ve been repeatedly sniffing my arm. This scent is growing on me, revealing its addictive character. A unique, spicy-sexy bubblegum.

I really don't understand how some people say it's unwearable, this is the most joyful, inoffensive scent in my collection. This literally smells like bubblegum! The good quality bubblegum. How can bubblegum be offensive? I really don't get the cloves in here, and if they are, they are not that predominant. This is really pleasant and high quality. One of my summer hidden gems, but I think you can wear this all year round really.

I tend to like this Xerjoff line in general, as there are many vanillic sweet gourmands and I collect them. At first I wasn't sure I liked Dolce Amalfi, but it has grown on me and now I love it. I get boozy top notes, spice, fruit, some vanilla and absolutely no bubblegum! The spices and quince make it exotic and oriental. The dry down is elegant and lasting but subtle. This was a blind buy and I lucked out.

To me, this smells exactly like "Big Red" cinnamon bubblegum. Although it is pretty linear, the opening is the sweetest part. At the deep drydown (4 hours +) the clove is more noticible than the cinnamon (not declared), but stays sweet. Longevity is good but proyection is very mild. I adore the scent so I bought it anyway. I guess I'll overspray more than usual and carry a decant around whenever I wear it.

Opens up with a spicy fruit tea note, like quince tea and cinnamon and cloves, later turns into Spicy sweet cinnamon bark and clove buds with a sugary sweet vanilla in the deep dry down. It’s unisex, but even though I am not a fan of woody unisex sweet scents, I really love it! It reminds me of the original Bvlgari Omnia (the brown color bottle of 2003 which is discontinued) but sweeter and fruitier

In my country we have a green ice cream drink which smells like this, oddly it is also called Quince, if i remember correctly. Yup it smells like gum too. But for me that immediately made it a 10/10. Somehow I just love it! I finally found a store with Xerjoff in my city and sniffed a lott of their scents today, I am blown away, i Love this house and their gourmands are just magic to my nose!!

this is the first perfume I really enjoy. I love it, it reminds me of that one special propolis smell from my childhood. I was wondering if there is such smell somewhere and luckily, finally I found it (accidentally). I wish it stayed longer, for example like xerjoff erba pura which has extremely strong smell and stays in your hair and clothes for days or even more

Love it. Just received my bottle, I tried it in store 6 months ago where I found it a very boozy and bubblegummy but now a bit more ambery, a bit too much honestly. However, lovely. Quince for the sugary, cloves, balsam for the 3D. I don't find it THAT spicy. Drydown is even better, cleaner and more musky. For this fruity, rich and complex, I love Dolce Amalfi

Juicy Fruit gum it is! Brings back waves of childhood nostalgia. Like most Xerjoffs, projection and longevity are quite strong. The clove and incense can be overwhelming so you may not want to spray on your chest or neck but rather your forearms wrists. It may be a bit unbalanced with the spices when smelt closely but it is pure pleasure in the air.

I still love it because spicy fragrance that captures the memorable movement. With fruity notes of quince and apple, balanced by cardamom and clove, it feels both exotic and comforting. The creamy vanilla and smoky incense in the base leave a luxurious, lasting impression. One spray is sufficient, but I never go beyond two sprays at the office.

This perfume has the most intoxicating dry down ever! Don't be fooled by the initial bubblegum blast. After ten minutes, the quince spicy incense accord makes its entrance and the most delicious vanilla lingers on for hours. Just magical. It can be worn all year round and it is not offensive, but very delicate and office safe. 8/10

Love at first sniff! Put simply, I agree with previous reviews that describe it as a spicy bubblegum scent - doesn’t necessarily sound like something that I would immediately love as a perfume, but it is so fun and bright, perfect for anytime of the year, in which I would like to be wrapped in this light hearted fragrance.

I bought this in a .25 oz travel spray two months ago and turned around and bought the 100 ml. bottle ($130.00 right now on ediscountperfumes.com). I haven't stopped wearing it. It's so beautiful! Feminine leaning but I can easily see a man wearing this. It's a complete knockout! To me it's totally a winter fragrance.

The Juicy Fruit comparisons are apt; fruity fresh quince with ooey gooey resins and spices. If you've also ever had Jägermeister, you will note the comparisons between it and this; fruity-spicy digestif in perfume form. Perfect all year round, leaves a lovely cocoon around the body. Very compliment garnering.

I liked it but it was way too spicy for me! I unfortunately just cant stand the cloves note. Everything I tried I didnt enjoy (Serge Noire, Diptyque's 34, Diptyque's L'Eau, etc or Serge's Arabie). Unfortunately, this note is just way too overpowering for me, so I decided to sell my perfume.

So delicious. Something about this makes me crave almond cookies/biscotti/shortbread. Perfectly blended, the quince cardamom combination shines. So lovely. Lasts 6+ hours, receives compliments. Wears well on a summer evening, I'm looking forward to cooler weather. Update: still a stunner.
