Fiore d'Ulivo

Am I the only one that adores this perfume? Yes, it is too chic to provoke, and, yes, it is best suited to a more mature audience. But it is still exceptional. Perhaps it's my Mediterranean heritage: this is all my childhood summers in a bottle. Endless valleys of olive, citrus and fig trees. You can actually smell the sun and salt water behind the aromas as well. My husband said it best:'This is what heaven must smell like'. I will get a full bottle because I have found nothing that compares to this. It evokes the very same memories as Philosykos, even though this is certainly not a fig fragrance. Think of this as its glorious first cousin. While Philosykos is the garden of a summer house, Fiore D'Ulivo is the entire provincial region. EDIT: Of course I got the full bottle when I found it as a small discount at Notino. I am treasuring this, wearing it about once a week. Great performer, my skin makes everything disappear but this stays true for hours. Between my permanent roster of MFK and Frédéric Malle frags, this is the most chic and sparkling one. This is my top summer fragrance along with Caligna, they are both brilliant compositions.

Fresh but not soapy, summery but not tropical, this is a scent I didn't know I needed until I was gifted it. Gifted by my partner, so I am admittedly biased based on the fact that he specifically selected it and enjoys it on me. Now it's a scent I can see myself reaching for frequently. Though the summers get hot here, I live in the mountains surrounded by forests/lakes and nowhere near the ocean or many beaches. Tropical fragrances, though lovely, can sometimes feel out of place. To me this fits the spring/summer by the lake bill perfectly. It's breezy and free, but it's creamy, well-rounded and long lasting. Olive blossom is not a scent I was familiar with, and it brings something so special to this. The citrus and basil evoke a sunny, classy, patio dinner feel. A beautifully composed non-generic freshie.

I am not going to lie. This is my first perfume from this house, aside from samples. It was a blind buy, and I chose it because I was curious about the olive blossoms. I am in love with it. The presentation is magnificent, although the pom-pom is coming apart already, I did pull on it a but much The bottle is a sunny yellow. The scent starts citrusy and then turns floral. I never smelled olive blossoms, so I cannot comment on that, but to me the florals here seem to be something between linden blossom and freesia. It is elegant, delicate, feminine, long lasting. Nothing to turn heads, but just very beautiful and serene, like a spring day with clear blue sky and not a worry in the world.

this is just as foul in 10°c weather as it is gorgeous in +27°c weather. when it first arrived, it smelled downright unpleasant and incredibly old-ladyish. i vaguely remember comparing it to mothballs and being very disappointed in it. six months later, i decided to revisit it, and i’m so glad i did. now i can finally appreciate the freshness of the basil and amalfi citrus. the aquatic and floral notes stand out beautifully, and as it settles it transforms into a beautiful creamy, almost velvet-like musky scent. so elegant yet so effortless. i’m very glad i gave this one another chance.

The opening was green and slightly soapy/sour, which scared me a little. But the drydown...omg...I may have found my new signature scent. It’s not exactly sweet nor citrusy, not exactly masculine nor feminine. I don’t know how to best describe it, other than just clean - what “skin” scents wish they were. On my skin, it lasted about 4 hours with very intimate sillage all the way. This is the type of perfume I call “earned privilege” (you may smell it once you know me well enough to hug).

Very refreshing scent, starts with a slightly bitter note. Surprisingly, the citrus note stays almost to a drydown il to 4hrs and intermingles with tender sweet flower notes, till it turns into the scent of a clean- just- out -of -the -laundry crisp-White shirt... Absolutely non-offensive suitable for office wear... I agree , one wants to breath it in over and over again, That's the type of a scent that reminds itself of necessity to spray it anew.

I loved Xerjoff especially the Casamorati line, when I buy any one of this line I feel like a princess 👸🏻, this fragrance is very clean and cool, unique and attractive for a lady who is trying to find different fragrances than others easy to wear. I always feel elegant wearing it. Fiore dÚlivo is great for the spring-summer season, beautiful soft musky flowers with a touch of sweetness, and a touching shampoo underneath, love it so much ❤️

I have absolutely no idea what olive flowers smell like, but this is heavenly. This is actually one of my most complimented fragrances. Clean, refreshing and sparkling, and so easy to wear. I always feel very elegant when wearing this. Fiore dÚlivo has an almost cooling effect on the skin. I get some of the same cool bitter/salt vibe that Jo Malones Wood Sage and Sea Salt has, maybe the ambrette has something to do about it?

This perfume is a beautiful spring & summertime scent. It smells a little bit like The Olive Branch from lush & almost identical to the Olive products from the body shop. Very fresh clean unisex smell . I have 7 Casamorati perfumes & love them all they’re so unique, fun & u always smell the excellent quality of ingredients 🩵

Olive shower gel + lemon + Mediterranean herbs. Faint green florals. Niche and unisex. For sunny days when everything feels too much. UPD: just realised why this perfume actually got me. Smells exactly like my mother's cosmetics bag (she used olive based creams and citrusy perfumes) when I was a child.

A creamy lemon-forward white floral. Feels supremely clean and inviting, like being surrounded by white linens on a perfect summer day. Intimate warm weather scent, arms length sillage. This is best appreciated in one-on-one interactions, very approachable. Will be using up the rest of my sample.

This is the one perfume that got me into liking Xerjoff. Fiore d'Ulivo is simple but charming, lingering with you with the dry down of musk, not so much amber. It's simple but sophisticated and elegant. On my skin lasted for 5 hrs, love it very much ❤️

I do not like fresh, citrus scents at all and I absolutely love this one. It really smells like an olive tree with some fresh, herbal basil and sweet, bright, tart lemons thrown in there. Muskiness and soapiness is balanced well. Amazing.

Very fresh and citrusy, floral, not in a heavy way, but I imagine very delicate spring flowers. The basil adds something interesting and green, really lovely. A bit of soapiness. Very good performance for this scent profile.

Finally, a new fragrance experience. It's wonderful to smell something you've never smelled in a perfume before. Here, it's olive! A great summer scent!

I blind bought Fiore d’Ulivo, I’ll admit that straight up. I think what sold it to me was the fact that I love eating olives, I enjoy looking at olive trees in bloom every time I go in Italy or Spain on holidays during spring time and I have not heard of any other perfume featuring olives blossom as the star note. With that being said, Fiore d’Ulivo is not just an olive blossom scent. It represents the Mediterranean fall or spring season spent in the countryside, walking through gardens filled with olive trees. It opens with Amalfi lemon, lotus, basil leaves and ambrette. So it gas a fresh, floral, aquatic, soft, watery start. Going towards the heart notes, these are all white flowers: magnolia, jasmine and the unique, star note of olive blossom! Base notes consist of benzoin, amber and musk, so it’s basically a warm, slightly resinous and musky base. Simply judging by the notes, Fiore d’Ulivo sounds more complex than it actually smells like to me. What I get from this is a slightly green, herbal, aromatic, aquatic floral, with a warm woody base and some musk. Smells feminine, pretty and almost buttery in a way but it’s not your typical feminine floral. It’s more an acquired taste kind of floral. I like it but it’s not a must have for everybody’s collection. This is not a mass appealing type of scent. For the price Xerjoff fragrances are being sold, I am not sure it’s worth buying, unless you are a collector like me and you are looking for something different or particular in the realm of fresh florals! As expected by looking at the notes, the performance is not that great either. Moderate on all areas. Can be worn during spring and summer months. It could not face well colder seasons since it is so light!

This is my 3rd time wearing Fiore d'Ulivo and out of the discovery set I got, it's my least favourite. It opens with a blast of refreshingly bitter citrus that feels ice-tinged, making you think of a nice cool drink tinkling with ice cubes that's a timely break from the sweltering summer heat. The "cooling down" theme continues with watery florals both lotus and magnolia present in equal parts with an "aqua" effect. It gets a bit muskier but overall I won't recommend it as a musk perfume but more of a splash of heavier cologne. In the current heatwave it's as welcome as a chilled glass of very fresh bitter lime juice but that's about all I can muster up as a compliment. The projection is average but the longevity just made it past the 3 hour mark for me with each wearing.

One of the blind samples I bought based on notes I'd never tried; the olive was intriguing. On my skin it starts out as a fresh and light/airy men's soap. Imagine you're having a picnic in an olive grove close to the beach on a bright spring day. There's a bouquet of magnolias, jasmine and lotus next to your sparkling water with a lemon twist on the side of the glass. As it dries it gets powdery and warm, and the olive and magnolia stand out but it's still slightly soapy. To me this is the epitome of unisex, it's not a sweet and girly floral at all but it's not overtly deep or masculine. Lasted about 4-5 hours on me and became a skin scent, but I could still smell it on my shirt when I put it in the wash that evening.

I am imagining wearing it on a summer day after I returned from the beach and showered. Clean Mediterranean feeling, the olive and lemon gives that light green vibe of being in vacation, the musk and amber helps with longevity , the basil makes it abit more uplifting and the lotus gives an amazing creaminess! I would absolutely love wearing it, my only objection on this one is the price. If you live in Greece or Italy you will find olive scented products starting from 5€ with the same vibe and really close dna. Nevertheless this is a beautiful scent, memories in a bottle and delivers the niche to it but not what I would select primarily from Xerjoff.

I like this perfume and I appreciate it but I don't love it. I really like how the basil was integrated into this perfume, its hard to add a herb you use in cooking and make it smell great, but they did it, it is very short lived but worth sticking my nose into it to find the basil. The top and middle are intense on citrus, jasmine, oily (?olive blossom), and a soft lotus scent. The base has soft ambery and floral notes. It has a lip balm or lipstick scent too, not sure if its because of the olive blossoms or not. I can't remember smelling olive blossoms before, although we grew olive trees back home !

The blossoming of the olive tree occurs in spring, usually in May or June. At this stage, the trees are covered in small white or yellow flowers, creating a breathtaking visual sight. However, this small flower also has a great importance: it will turn into the fruit of this plant that will give life to one of the most appreciated and typical products of our area. This fragrance is a walk in spring among the olive trees, surrounded by initially aromatic, Mediterranean notes and then by delicate floral tones. My first sniff of this fragrance was pure lemon ... citrus for days. After a few minutes, I got intangible earthy floral notes and an herbaceous, green aroma from the basil, followed by something honeyed and sweet. The sugary, lemony notes persist for ages, but the final drydown is velvety and musky. Fiore d'Ulivo is not quite gourmand and not really "perfumey," which I find a little confusing. It's quite nice though.

I'm torn. 🤧 I enjoy the enchanting waft & the delightful dry down immensely. When I put my nose close to it, there's a greenish note I don't care for. I'll probably wind up getting the 1oz bottle because the longevity & sillage are 🔥🔥 but I don't see myself reaching for this often. Update: Won't bother getting a bottle. I like it even less now.

The opening is a little too herbal for me but after an hour it's very nice. Best elegant summer scent, I wear it to summer formal occasions, weddings and such. For lovers of florals that don't tolerate much patchouli perfect spring/summer frag. Edit: Brought it to a vacation in Greece, purfeeeection ❤️

It stars as a wake me up to go go and steels to ok time to get a massage

First blast of bright sweet lemon on top of soft woody musk. After a minute, the scent deepens slightly into darker green leaves; there's a pungent and unique herbal note that I'm assuming is the olive blossom. Smells almost salty and medicinal and I can't quite get the floral notes that are supposedly in here. Half an hour later and the magnolia starts to awaken, mingling quite nicely with the green herbal olive note. Quite an interesting fragrance but not to my tastes. Was male in the first couple minutes but this definitely turned female once the flowers started to bloom. Best suited for cooler weather. 6+ hours later: The scent stayed on the sweet floral note, turning almost soapy by the 4th hour mark which is about as long as it lasted.

This is something I feel men would enjoy wearing as well. The emphasis is on the Amalfi lemon note, although I also detect orange and/or orange blossom. It’s an interesting take on citrus- there’s added complexity from nuances like basil, lotus, and olive blossom- but the citrus notes smell far too artificial for my taste, especially compared to other citrus-forward fragrances I’ve tested and own. The projection was quite good in the first hour, then it turned into a skin scent on me. The longevity on my skin was about 3–4 hours.

Very creamy, strong, clean and fresh white floral. Smells almost dated, but more nostalgic than that. Actually, any age category could wear it with no problems. It does smell like a scented expensive cream (not the classic Nivea, but close... I know, this one is not expensive) or soap. And I mean it in the best, creamiest, richest and cleanest way possible. It smells expensive and has absolutely amazing performance.

very similar to wulong cha initially, but quickly shows a soft floral note. i am not a fan of magnolia but its very light here. i kept it on all day. its refreshing and interesting. I personally prefer wulong cha. I think this is more of a feminine fragrance in the mid and dry down especially because of the florals, but some men could pull it off.

Smell very citrusy and powdery at the same time, similar vibe as Petit Martin from MKF. Not for unisex due to smell like some lipstick and feminine but can combine to be some unisex these days, This is not as old as it looks, great performance and nice perfume.

I'm not sure I can describe the notes but it's like sweet rice scent. Something rice-like, sweet like sugar cube. Not suitable for summer days. I won't buy full bottle.

I have been trying to like this but it is not happening. Too green and aromatic. Not sweet! At all. Olive blossom and basil are front stage. It is thick, aromatic, vegetal. And most importantly: NOT SOAPY! It gets to lotion territory after like one hour but by that time it's a skin scent. - if your taste is similar to mine I think you might prefer Petit Matin by MFK for a clean, citrus, fresh scent or tbh even Aqua Media by MFK which is VEGETAL as hell, but I like it a tiny bit more than Fiore D'Ulivo.

Kinda blind bought it... After trying it on in store I thought I found the best soapy perfume ever. I sadly couldn't find anywhere a tester to buy in order to test it over a longer period of time so I decided to buy the 30 ml... It's ok. It smells clean, but it takes a while to get less aromatic. After about one hour it turns into a pleasant scent reminescent of an expensive lotion.

I have mixed feelings about this one. In the beginning it smelled like a very sharp floral-citrusy cleaning product. It was quite annoying to be honest. But the dry down is very cute, floral classy and feminine. Not as loud as Lira or Italica

Somehow this doesn't exactly work, it smells just like a soap bar.

After seven years of buying this bottle , it is one of the most attractive fragrances that is as fresh as the first day for me. 1️⃣ This perfume is in the citrus aromatic category and the flowers selected in this perfume are lush flowers such as lotus which is ozonic type and magnolia which is slightly citrus. ( my favorite flowers in the perfume are magnolia and geranium, so this perfume is very suit to me). 2️⃣ Most of the fragrances that you can smell from this perfume are, first of all, the juicy lemon and the bitterness of its skin. Powdered lemon peel with ambrette( herbal musk). With my perception and experience, the floral part is in the second place and in the third place it is aromatic and especially basil. Magnolia is more visible to me in this perfume among the floral fragrance mix. 3️⃣ About the olive flower that is mentioned in the pyramid and the name of this perfume is the same: "Olive flower" or olive blossom , I have no idea. I selected an olive tree around me that whenever it blooms, I must use this opportunity to smell it. But about its scent, only flower is mentioned. Finally, although the presence of benzoin and amber in the base of the perfume slightly leads to sweetening, but this perfume will not lead to the sweetness of the perfume .and aromatic citrus and freshness still remain. 5️⃣ Gender? I think it's a sport and Unisex There are those : #aqua_vitae_forte by #MFK And #rive_d_ambre by #tomford If you see them Unisex, you also see this perfume as Unisex. Maybe that's why this perfume is hard to find in stores. 7️⃣ About perfumer Angeline leporini It was the strangest perfumer I have ever encountered. I cant understand why only seven perfumes should be in her record for many years.? In these seven , most famous of her perfumes is : this one and the epic of the women of Amouage, which was the co work of three perfumer. 8️⃣ Excellent sillage and good longevity 9️⃣ Made in Italy. ( گلهای مورد علاقه من در عطرسازی مگنولیا و ژرانیوم هستند ، بنابرین این عطر صدچندان برایم عزیز میشود) . 2️⃣بیشترین روایحی که ازین عطر به مشام میرسد ، اول از همه لیموی شاداب و تلخی پوستش هست . پوست لیمویِ پودری شده با مشک گیاهیِ امبرته . با ادراک و تجربه من ، بخش گلی در مرتبه دوم ودر مرتبه سوم اروماتیک و اختصاصا ریحان مراتبی ست که غالب عطر را در برگرفته. مگنولیا دربین مخلوط عطر گلها برای من درین عطر نمود بیشتری داره😍. 3️⃣در مورد گل زیتون که در هرم ذکر شده و اسم این عطر هم همین هست : "گل زیتون". یا "شکوفه زیتون" نظری ندارم .‌ درخت زیتونی در اطرافم پیدا کردم که هروقت شکوفه کرد حتما ازین فرصت استفاده میکنم برای بوییدنش . ولی درمورد رایحه ش فقط اشاره شده ، گلی. 4️⃣ودرنهایت گرچه با حضور بنزویین و امبر در بیس اندکی عطر به سمت شیرین شدن پیش میرود ، اما این عطر را به سمت عنوان عطر شیرین نخواهد کشید و کماکان سیتروسی اروماتیک و شاداب بودن پابرجاست. 5️⃣جنسیت؟ به نظر من یک کار اسپرت و یونیسکس هست و کسایی که #aqua_vitae_forte by #MFK و #rive_d_ambre by #tomford رو یونیسکس ببینند ، این عطرو هم یونیسکس میبنند. نمیخوام بگم مشابهند ،‌میخوام بگم سیتروسی های تلطیف شده اند اما کماکان در مسیر یونیسکس. گرچه فیورداولیو را شرکت سرژف زنانه به بازار معرفی کرد. اما به نظرم از آکواویته فورته یونیسکس تر هست . 6️⃣ ارزش خرید؟ سیصد و پنجاه دلار برای صدمیل و عطر سیتروسی ، رقم بالایی هست. کارای مناسبتر میتونید پیدا کنید. مگراینکه مثل خودم عاشق کارای سیتروسی باشید که ماندگاری قابل قبولی هم داشته باشه. 7️⃣درباره عطارش خانوم Angeline leporini عجیبترین عطاری بود که تا امروز باهاش مواجه شدم. درک نمیکنم چرا فقط هفت عدد عطر طی سالهای طولانی باید تو کارنامه ش باشه. در این هفت کار مشهورترین ها همین کار و اپیک زنونه آمواژ که کار مشترک سه عطار بود به چشم میخورد. 8️⃣ پخش عالی و ماندگاری خوب به عنوان یک کار سیتروسی 9️⃣ساخت ایتالیا . به سال ۲۰۰۹ 💛💛تقدیم به مغناطیس حضور دوستان پرمهرم💛💛 من رو در اینستاگرام باهمین ایدی میتونید دنبال کنید Percomo_time

Fragrance Review For Fiore D'Ulivo By Xerjoff Top Notes: Lotus Lemon Ambrette Basil Middle Notes: Jasmine Magnolia Olive Blossom Base Notes: Musk Amber Benzoin Fiore D'Ulivo, Italian for Olive Blossom is built around the olive blossom. It's clearly olive blossom with a very close to the real thing scent and evokes the Italian countryside, Tuscany, or a road outside of Rome that led into various smaller hamlets and villages. Inhaling this scent and allowing my imagination to soar it brought me back in time to the Renaissance when noble women of the palazzos and courts I like to think smelled of floral essences, including olive blossom, or the scent of olives and grapes, black currant, spicy, boozy, fragrant, intoxicating, bewitching. The scent of jasmine is also clearly in this fragrance and magnolia, white flowers that enchant the person next to you. Little white flowers of such power. There is also some lemon juice in this perfume, and it becomes much more noticeable as the scent has already worn for over 1 hour. A citrus floral in the simplest of terms. But there are spices of basil as well. It stays spicy and very aromatic. It smells like a trip into an Italian villa where you could smell basil in the kitchen, olive blossom and jasmine in the garden and women who were more than gracious hostesses. The scent dries down to a lovely amber. This is a gorgeous fragrance. It's made with artistry and talent and I sigh in relief to know that perfumes can still smell the way they ought to smell in today's world of terrible cheap perfumery.

Fiore d'Ulivo opens on my skin with a watery,fresh,green,lemony and a bit bitter lotus with a wisper of slightly sweet olive blossom yet to come laying on top of a pleasant and ambery musk. As time goes by,during mid development,bouquet of flowers, with dominant jasmine and magnolia, starts to emerge and bring some mediterranean romance into the game.At this point,it is all about flowers with a strong presence of olive blossom and with the tender trace of a bit smoky benzoin. This all leads into a musky,ambery and floral base with an astonishing touch of benzoin. Longevity - 8/10(8+hours) Silage/Projection - 8/10(moderate to high projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours,than sits closer to skin for the duration of the scent's evolution) Weather -Best in spring and summer. Age - 30+ Compliments - 8/10 Scent - 8,5/10 Main notes according to me -olive blossom,lemon,lotus, jasmine,magnolia,basil,musk,benzoin. The drydown is musky,ambery and floral and I get some musk,flowers,benzoin and amber. Emotions -mediterranean spring vibe,mediterranean romance, natural,spring,tender. This perfume is a hidden gem in Casamorati line. A tart, fresh, juicy lemon (peel and flesh), and some olive blossom in the background to ground it in an oily lotion base, and some magnolia that gives it a fresh airy floral touch so it doesn’t smell like a salad dressing! There is nothing sweet, sugary, vanillic, of any kind. This perfume is the most realistic bitter tart lemon peel and lemon flesh scent that I have ever smelled, until the last minute! It doesn’t change, disappear or evolve into something unwanted! It just gets smoother as it dries down. It’s not just the lemon, but the lemon is the star, the other notes are too subtle, and if you are craving a perfume that is just like a sophisticated freshly cut lemon, this is it IMO. It’s perfect for very hot weather, doesn’t choke me off or make me nauseous in any weather, gives a very clean, crisp, natural feel And the packaging? It’s The most beautiful in the whole line IMHO. the gold color and the printings are so incredibly beautiful.

Sweet and creamy like luxurious body butter. Here are the rest of its vibes: I don’t exactly like the aquatic dated vibe from the lotus here, but it’s necessary to create the “olive” impression, which I appreciate. I love how the basil manifests. Its green “nectar” type of sweetness and a faint note of hey (similar to the one of L’Artisan rose privee minus the rose). It carries some aspects of the body shop olive body butter, but this is so much more: Sweet and creamy, with virgin olive oil hint to this creaminess. I only have the hair mist so far (full bottle of perfume has since been ordered). I was hoping for a hair mist I could wear with lots of different perfumes and this delivered. I feel like I can layer the hair mist with most perfumes I want to wear right now for spring time. I am loving it! Cannot wait to get the perfume. Soft, musky, sweet, fresh, sort of neutral floral. So, so good! Ps. Agree with the reviewer below that says it's simple but charming, understated elegance. Pss. As of June, I already emptied my 1 oz. hair perfume and ordered a second. I bought a regular perfume bottle as well. I'd say both are a bit lacking in longevity but the scent is so good I'm happy to reapply (just a bit expensive for that).

it’s a safe choice for 40 years old up women,in opening you can smell the honey and jasmine mixed with little lemon,after 30-40 minuets the smell is better than opening notes,I like Xerjoff but you can try some better fragrances with this price!ا به نظر من این پرفیوم واسه سنین بالای چهل ساله ،ولی واسه سنین پایین تر زیاد جذاب نیس،اولش براحتی بوی عسل با گل یاسمن و یکمی لیمو رو میتونین حس کنین،رفته رفته بوی یاسمن غالب میشه و بقیه نتها بیشتر میرن پس زمینه ولی بوی شیرینه عسل تا اینجاش که تست کردم خیلی خفیف میاد،با این قیمت بالا فک نمیکنم جالب باشه واسه خرید مگه اینکه واقعا عاشقش باشین غیره اون انتخابهای خیلی بهتری وجود داره از این یکی،زرژفو دوس دارم ولی این عطرش کار خاصی نبود که در خور نامش باشه!ا

Gives classy, beautiful rich woman in a white cotton or linen dress with flat leather sandals, tasteful minimal gold jewellery spending the summer in Greece or the south of France. The opening can feel a little much, but it quickly settles down into something absolutely gorgeous. Not intensely perfumey, could plausibly be expensive scented body and hair care products. But that isn't to say the projection or longevity is poor. If I didn't have a decent sized collection I could happily snell like this every day right through from late May until early September.
