@butterflybrat I know what you mean but I think this perfume might actually not be a white floral bomb in notes but rather the notes it has create the illusion of one? Because you’re right, this totally smells like a white flower bomb perfume, but at the same time, it doesn’t... so weird! It reminds me of the original Juicy Couture from 2006, the very first one before VLJ, but like a WAY better version of it. It’s like what I always wished Juicy Couture was. Personally I think the violet note in here is already pretty grapes and then combined with the eucalyptus it becomes even more grapey. White florals are known for having grapey tones to them sometimes, especially tuberose. Particularly, the tuberose in Juicy Couture 2006 is very grapey/bubblegummy. So I think the grapey effect in La Tosca is at least partially responsible for creating the tuberose/white floral illusion. But also, tuberose is also well known for having a camphorous, minty edge. You know what note is often used to recreate that? That’s right, eucalyptus, just like in the legendary Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle. Another famous and incredible tuberose, Serge Lutens Tubereuse Criminelle, uses styrax instead of eucalyptus but it achieves the same effect. So if the grapiness wasn’t enough to make your brain reference white florals, the addition of camphorous eucalyptus certainly will be! I’m also not sure there aren’t ANY white floral notes to begin with. I can’t glance at the note pyramid right now since I’m writing this, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some white floral notes at least as minor players, or perhaps even unlisted? It’s possible. But in any case I do believe that either way, the vast majority of the white floral impression comes from the other notes because when you really “study” this scent, really smell it up close, you start to smell the individual notes (it’s VERY well blended so this will probably take some sniffing lol) and see how they come together, but what I’m not sure I smell is any actual white flowers. At least, there’s no “white floral” notes I smell that can’t just as easily be interpreted as being a result of the combination of other notes here. Whatever it is, La Tosca is masterful. One of my all-time FAVORITE fresh/bright/fruity/warm weather friendly perfumes EVER! The sillage of this stuff is so delightful and sexy and addictive, it makes you just want to huff and inhale it and chase down the wearer lol. The bottle is SO gorgeous too!! I think it’s the prettiest of the casamorati line, and that’s really saying something as they’re all gorgeous, but that purple tho! A bit expensive, but worth EVERY penny imo. As with other Xerjoffs, the performance is outstanding.

Wooooow...this is just amazing!!! SENSUAL , ELEGANT,LUXURY,HEAVEN IN A BOTTLE!!!! l was trying yesterday all the Casamorati from Xerjoff and was very impressed with their quality. l discovered top 3 loves for me. 1 La Tosca, 2 Mefisto, 3 Lira ,4 Fiore d'Ulivo....maybe 5 between like -love Fiero. The others just like... except one which maybe doesn't suit to my chemistry. When first smelled La Tosca it was breathtaking from the first spray..in 5 first seconds, i thought l was smelling fresh green lilac..like Lilac Path Aerin ...(no lilac here) then the second thought was Omnia Amethysto...maybe En Passant Frederic Malle or Jonquille de Nuit Tom Ford .... lt was exactly the same feeling !!! they are NO SIMILAR but had the same vibe . From the first sniff, you can recognize the character of this one. lt opens fresh almost sharp ozonic in a good way,citrusy-spicy floral,green..then after a while, the most beautiful combo musky rose-patchouli appears like in Elle YSL + green effect of Violet Leaf and aromatic eucalypt. The combo rose+patch is very very spicy and too much musky but so well-balanced with the first player now..Violet Leaf!!!The dry down is to die for.Warm amber appears and a light touch of vanilla just to balance the sharpness..but still remain fresh!!! The feeling has a purple color like purple flowers the bottle suits so well...if you dislike them is not for you!!! The package is nostalgic, amazing, love it. quality 10/10 sillage and longevity are excellent!!! MASTERPIECE!!

Okay, so who doesn't love Xerjoff? My first was "More Than Words". I'm a spicy, woody, unisex type...Casamorati 1888 was my second and loved that too. Decided to TRY something blind, and more floral for summer... I picked La Tosca...HOLY MOLY. It was PASSIONATE love at first sniff! A floral that I actually ADORE. Pungent and heavy, it blasts it's way into your senses, but quickly calms to a slightly sweet, still bodacious but gentler version of her beautiful self. It's not listed but I swear, it smells very much in tune with my Beyond Scents Carnation body lotion! I have two Rose lotions and Violet, but nooo....it's the Carnation that works for me. I don't smell any Violet leaf...and I own Balenciaga, the original, which you can't get more violet than that one. Regardless, this one is now my favourite Xerjoff. I ordered another bottle right off to keep in the fridge, in case this one is discontinued. If you love heady florals that make a statement, you need this one. P.S. men like it too.😉 9/10 performance 10/10 overall...it's perfect.

The mixed reviews on this one are crazy. It's really interesting how different it appears to be for different people. I find this to be a 10/10 by all means. I could drown in it. It starts off as a violet/white flowers mix but then the white flower notes quiet down, and for a while the violet is dominant with a rich green background in which all of the listed notes blend perfectly. It is indeed very ozonic. Very smooth. The scent is incredibly harmonious and well crafted and even tho there is a dominant note of violets it doesn't stick out in an unpleasant way, it is very well complimented by everything else going on. After a while the clean, soft musk and amber start to be more apparent but the violet never disappears. I should also mention that it is very realistic. The sillage and longevity are great. Here in the northen mediterranean we have these forests with pines, oaks, moss and little flowers like violets and saffron and this scent really reminds me of walking around deep inside one of them.

Violet very front and center, surrounded by tart greenery- the eucalyptus/citrus combo. Very ozonic. If you’ve ever run an ozone machine think that smell but sweeter, greener, and very violet. The patchouli in here supports the top notes well giving it some grit and spice. It smells different from different lengths away. An arms length, violet ozonic; a foot away violet greenery; close to the skin, violet patchouli and slightly powdery. The vanilla and amber add a bit of sweetness but just enough to reign in the tart greenery and patchouli from taking it into something too deep. It’s not a ‘sweet’ perfume by any means. Superb strength, silage, and longevity. I have a sample of this and it’s quite the deviation from the fragrances I enjoy for everyday- yet the more I wear it the more I’m falling in love. To me this is an event perfume given how beast mode it is. I feel it’s the perfect scent for a spring time wedding including the bride. This scent is special and interesting.

I am going to be a Stiffler this evening. This fragrance is beautiful and I don't care what anyone else says. Obviously you have to be into Violet leaf almost always which goes into water territory. It's a perfect fragrance for when it is humid and rainy outside, but still in the middle of the day. It's all about accentuating your environment and who you are within it. This is very elegant and very soft. Balanced very well. This fragrance will not shout out at you. Sometimes that is OK. It's important that you as a fragrance connoisseur know what it is you are trying on before applying. You may end up being in a scenario where the fragrance is the complete opposite from what you are feeling or want to feel at that time. If that is the case, you are not going to like the fragrance no matter how good it is. That happened to me the first time I tried this! I have now applied it twice under the right environments. I am completely in love with it now.

This perfume reminds me somehow of Figment Woman by Amouage. I mean, it's not similar at all, but it has that unusual, slightly controversial character. Right from the bottle I could smell something very reminescent of Insolence EdP by Guerlain. After initial spraying, I get fresh, minty, slightly earthy elements. Then I smell loud outburst of violets and citrusy, mandarin-like freshness. The longevity and sillage are both fantastic. Also, it kind of smells clean, soapy, but it's not overpowering. The trail the perfume leaves is absolutely delicious, and that is when a little bit of sweetness and white flowers pop up at this stage, at least this is how my nose perceives it. Overall, La Tosca is an interesting, potent and intense perfume experience. :) by that I mean...that I totally love it. :) while Dama Bianca, Lira or Italica are the popular ones, this one deserves lots of love, too. Don't underestimate it's power and charm. 💜💜💜

I never thought I’d enjoy a violet based perfume but Oh. my. Goodness. This is so GORGEOUS!!! It is an absolute FLORAL BOMB and the longevity on this one is 8+ hours. It is a delight from top to bottom and I am in floral heaven each time I spray this. This is a beast in terms of projection so one spray on my neck is more than enough because I dislike chocking those around me with fumes. A word of caution. This is a very very floral perfume and a specific floral at that: violets. So if you do not appreciate florals, better not even try this. I certainly didn’t blind buy this. I tested it on my skin on several occasions (I had a sample from a prior Xerjoff purchase) and I tried it at different times. To me, this is a gorgeous perfume. Worth getting a full bottle. La Tosca runs in the same veins as Jasmin Rouge by Tom Ford. They are both quite similar (without being complete dupes of each other).

Oh such a gorgeous perfume!! I love La Tosca!! It's heavenly!! The most lovely fresh, feminine, soft, gentle, floral with beautiful citrus, and gorgeous patchouli, and a gentle delicate rose with a lovely refreshing eucalyptus and smooth sweet and gentle vanilla and musk. It's so beautiful!! I can't stop sniffing myself, and neither can anyone else who happens to be within a few feet of me. So many people stop me to tell me how gorgeous I smell, no matter where I am. It's absolutely stunning. And so is the gorgeous, superb purple bottle, and the fabulous box. They are such perfect works of art. Oh, I adore this glorious, elegant, charming perfume completely!!! I hope I can stock up on it, and wear it forever. I never, ever, ever want to be without it!!

This perfume is a kind of magic to me. It smells exactly like summer garden by the country house from my childhood. 100%. It really surprises me, there was nothing like those exotic notes mentioned here in the garden, but all together they smell exactly like that. Sorry Xerjoff I really can't associate this scent with Puccini's passionate story but I find it very nostalgic in its own way. UPD: I have a clue about the feeling it gave me. Something about this perfume reminds me of Insolence by Guerlain, especially in the opening. A certain lady used it for the laundry back then. I think this perfume smells like Insolence mixed with a good amount of grass, fresh air and blooming garden plants - at least that's what I smelt on myself.

It’s an interesting one. My skin burns almost every perfume in a couple of hours. But not this one. It lasts REALLY long. Your clothes will remain scented until you wash it properly. I wouldn’t call this perfume blind buy safe. It has some fairy tail princess vibes. However, the fairy tale isn’t for small children. Maybe, it’s also something Daphne from Scooby-Doo would wear :) The scent itself starts as an orchestra of floral notes, especially flowery ones. Later, it calms down to musky white flowers with fresh notes. Finally, it turns into something calm with white flowers and some aquatic notes. Citrus somewhere in the background. As for colour, the bottle colour is pretty accurate, but I would add more white.

Xerjoff La Tosca is such a standout fragrance! It’s fresh yet feels super luxurious, striking a perfect balance that’s not too youthful or too mature. On my skin, the fresh-cut lemon note lingers for a few hours, and it’s definitely a refreshing lemon, not the sour kind! After that, it transitions into this soothing spa-like aroma, probably thanks to the eucalyptus that starts to come through. Then, as it dries down, it evolves into this warm, sexy, clean skin scent. I made the mistake of spraying it six times, and it filled my entire kitchen! My husband and daughter thought it was way too much. Now, I just stick to two sprays max, and it has amazing projection and lasts forever.

This was a blind buy, I really don't understand all this hate for La Tosca. If you are looking for a floral, musky scent with a great lasting power don't hesitate and grab this gorgeous flanker. There is something addictive about this perfume, every time I smell it I picture Disney princess. It's ultra feminine and powdery, people compare it to Insolence, it does have some similarity, but La Tosca is a modern perfume while Insolence smells slightly dated. I am finding La Tosca very unique, probably because of eucalyptus note, it's very versatile, perfect for every occasion and the bottle is stunning

I honestly think some of the reviews here are absolutely insane... You people either got a really bad batch or you were sold some sort of fake or clone or faulty sample. This perfume is literally a masterpiece, and while I do agree that we each have different taste, it is quite insane to say that this smells like mold or rotten flowers :( It is fresh, it is complex, it is extremely well blended, it transforms and projects and reveals new layers as time goes by. Personally, I cannot comprehend how this would not be a safe blind buy...

I bought many casamorati samples and La Tosca is one of them! It opens very fruity with mandarin and lemon but in a while you will smell violets and violets!! If you love violets you will love this perfume! I really can't imagine a man wearing this! But..be careful it is not a girly perfume, is for bigger ages for me. It is mature and classy and vintage 😉 🌷It reminds me a lot "insolence" from Guerlain, more the edt, but la Tosca is deeper, more citrusy, more sharp, more loud and has better sillage! Can't wait to buy a full bottle❣

Hi! Let me start by saying I really, really like this fragrance. However, I think my nose might be broken, because all I can smell is a green-leaning jasmine and tuberose—honestly, something very reminiscent of Curious by Britney Spears. I blind bought it hoping for a bold, loud violet—that magical “purple” note—but I can’t detect any at all. Do I regret it? Absolutely not. It’s genuinely beautiful. But if, like me, you’re specifically chasing that dreamy violet vibe, I’d recommend trying it first if you can.

Pretty scent , pretty bottle, pretty price ( for 30ml size) ... so why not ? La tosca is airy clean floral with niche quality ( which how I imagined the overrated valaya would be before trying it ). The bottle design smartly embodied the characteristics of the scent , soft purple, transparent and feminine. I didn’t give it a full wear yet , but I think it is the kind of fragrances that are very easy to reach , easy to wear, great for summer vacations , casual dinners , and office friendly also.

Beautiful scent! Very potent and to me seems more in the feminine side. The longevity is uvelievable - I feel it for days!! And I would say it starts strong but develops into a very warm rounded scent . Also (as U am not a patchouli fan) I normally would feel that note right away , but here it's masterfully hidden and wiffs somewhere subtly in the background. It's a magnetically and very noticeable scent - I doubt it's for the office every day use but for a evening grown up time.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this one but in my opinion, it's a floral that slightly sweet and a bit musky. It protects really well on my skin so in my opinion, it has a brightness to it. I think it's an absolutely fabulous fragrance it lasts for hours on me and the hubby loves it as well. I recommend if you're looking for an elegant floral for the spring and summer. Side note: I initially only had the 1 ounce but went back for the 3.4 because I love it that much!

I was looking for to add a floral perfume to my collection even tho I usually gravitate towards gourmand perfume. Floral tend to feel a bit too mature or flat to me, it becomes boring after awhile. But I didn’t expect to fall in love with this one! It is refreshing yet has a beautiful depth of subtle smokiness. The rose and patchouli blend v well, def won’t give you headache. Very feminine and effortlessly classy. Not to mention great projection as well!

lovely, that's what's gotten me into perfumes in the first place unfortunately people my age don't seem to appreciate it, grannies do though thankfully - take that as you will it did have that very sharp, cold, green scent in the first few months, but after letting it marinate smells like a beautiful, photorealistic violet and is a beast - i counted each hour and it lasted for solid 14, got quite intimate after like 10 though

I've filled restaurants, classrooms, houses and stores with this scent while wearing it, I've had my clothes smell for days even after washing them, my hair, my room, they all smell like La Tosca, people have told me they could smell me even before entering the premises, the scent itself is a heavenly aquatic-soapy floral that I just can't get enough of, very unique,pretty and feminine, this fragrance is a work of art.

A beautiful fresh violet smell. It’s so strong and realistic you can almost taste it. Gorgeous up to the drydown which is my favorite of all the casamorati perfumes. Crazy projection too I’m afraid I’ve committed a war crime against people I shared an elevator with. The casamorati line does well in developing opulent smelling perfumes that you could imagine royalty wearing. This is no different and a personal favorite.

My boyfriend got me this for my birthday. And I have to say, it's the best gift I've ever received!! This perfume smells like heaven. I've always wanted a signature scent, and this might be it. Most of the floral perfumes that I've tried are worn by almost every girl I come across, but not this one! I've never smelled it anywhere on anyone. It's so unique, so pleasant, and so feminine.

Completely compelling, as in I cannot stop sniffing my wrist and that is hours after just a small spritz. This is one of the most gorgeous fragrances I've had the privilege to sniff. I have a split of it, may have to get a bottle, though truly a little spritz is probably just about right. Night time Mediterranean scent brought to the heights of the art of perfumery. LOVE the stuff!

I fell in LOVE with this scent, receiving many compliments from stanger for its excellent style and sillage with non-invasive (trust me, I live in Thailand with extremely hot weather, and it is difficult to wear anything that suits the weather). The perfectly blended violet is the main ingredient of this modern floral chypre - fresh, clean, light, but long-lasting.

I had a hard time with the opening on this one in the beginning. I don't what is that reminds me of burnt toast. I've had it over a year now and it has really calmed down. It really is a beauty if you're looking for violet fragrances. The projection and sillage is dynamic. In the air it's everything. It's like grown up candy. Very pretty!

Its like watching the climax of an opera; performed in a white flower garden with wafts of purple iris and the dissipating dew. It's lasting power is moderate on my skin. It's a masterpiece really. This is such a loud perfume! It screams and rings.I liked it very much from the first try on the paper, but after applying it on me, I have got almost an anxiety. It is like tinnitus, but in your nose. I washed my t-shirt after applying this perfume and even after washing with detergent I still smell it :D

Once the first harsh blast calms down a bit, this becomes the most addictive, intoxicating and stylish frags I've ever smelled. The combination of notes gives this undescribable HALO of kinda dramatic, cosmic grape soda, but in the most elegant, natural and original way. A must try

Gorgeous blasts of citrus and violets, slightly soapy, a bit green, not groundbreaking, yet amazing! Can’t really detect the patchouli or the amber which is fine by me! Uplifting spring - summer scent, it gives me a great vibe! Love at first sniff!

I really love this. I get the violet leaf ( green floral) it’s unique. I find it softly powerful. I feel this could be my signature scent. As it mellows I get a slight eucalyptus with vanilla. Might sound weird but I think it really works

I didn’t expect to like this one but I love if. It smells as purple as the bottle, it reminds me of the purple fanta edition. Longevity and sillage are great, it is indeed a hidden gem!

This smells like super fresh purple grapes and hard and abit translucent violet candy. The eucalyptus just makes this airy and minty/fresh. Love it!

So sharp and so loud to my taste. It actually screams. I wanted to love but I get a strong hair salon vibe. This is a 100 years old downtown salon, hidden but crowded. Old ladies are sitting there and you can smell all the chemicals, hair spray and very expensive perfumes - all the same time. This is La Tosca, a lot of harsh notes in one giant slap to the face. UPDATE: 24 hs later me sitting at my desk sniffing the paper strip from the day before and can't get enough of this scent. I am still unable to pinpoint any specific element, every time I sniff I am finding something else to love in this chaos. But it happened, I started to love it. It needed a whole day to dry down and calm down to be something I prefer. UPDATE 2: I bought a decant and I am wearing this every day however I needed some time to be comfortable with one single spray. After a few hours it is a citrus flower crown around me. I am wondering how there is no neroli or orange blossom in the ingredients but I accept it, my senses are wrong I guess.

I've owned and love a few offerings from Xerjoff. After much disappointment with "Quattro Pizzi," I found a great deal on "La Tosca." I've been on a mixed floral, primarily white floral bender lately. People describe La Tosca as a beast. I was almost afraid to try it on skin. Perhaps I am anosmic to many of the notes but upon applying La Tosca on skin (and my husband concurred) the fragrance is barely detectable. Maybe I purchased a bad bottle? I doubt it... Beast mode is very subjective, you think?!?! La Tosca opens as a pleasant, inoffensive, aquatic, watery, feminine-leaning fragrance with green violet nuances. I was fearful of experiencing a noxious, eucalyptus note. But I do not detect anything akin to eucalyptus as the fragrance develops. The dry down is a lovely, calming melange of powdery dusty violet, some amber, vanilla and lots of musk. To me, there's little patchouli in the base. La Tosca is nothing like I thought it would be. It's likable.

This is like sniffing a blooming bouquet of purple, white,and pink flowers through a slightly aquatic airiness with green stems. The florals are heady and candied sweet in the opening. This is the best part of the fragrance although the sweetness soon fades leaving a classic floral profile of violet and white flowers with a hint of aromatic touches that don't overwhelm in the way I was afraid of from other reviews. The florals remain dominant until it dries down to a metallic musk. This is the most underwhelming part of the fragrance. It is a whimsical fairy princess pretty girl grown up type of scent. If you enjoy Creed type of florals you would probably like this. It is bold, unapologetic, and not for those prone to headaches, allergies, etc. It was a risky blind buy but my experience is more positive than many of the reviews here so I'm satisfied to have her in my collection.

This, to me, is very signature worthy scent. It has a character: it's pretty and light and inoffensive, but still possesses the depths and sophistication needed for evening and special occasions. The combination of Violet and Eucalyptus might evoke impression of an older generation, but this to me is like a true vintage with all the best qualities preserved, that makes one stand out from the crowd. I completely agree with comments below so I won't repeat the details. But yes, even with the negative feedback, I can agree. Just on me, this works. Maybe because I'm a careful sprayer... Let's spend a day with La Tosca and make the magic happen.

I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews about this perfume, yet I still bought it blindly and it didn’t disappoint me at all. What I get from it is a luxurious, ozonic floral scent. Every time I wear it, I feel like a violet bouquet placed in a crystal vase filled with clean, fresh spring water. Yes, I do smell detergent and soap in it, and it can come off a bit scratchy, but honestly, that’s what makes it work on my skin. It feels clean, elegant, and unique and I’m genuinely loving it on me.
