Oh... My... Word!!! I know I have used the word 'amazing' many times before when describing a perfume... I just wanted to use it again for this ridiculously delicious Lira, but to be honest... amazing simply would not suffice to describe this masterpiece! There's just no word to describe this heavenly deliciousness! Lira just made me about to delete any fragrance off of my want list, just to put on only Lira itself... This is soooooo expensive,... but I soooooo want a bottle of it now, I mean... DANG!!! This smells awesome! The absolutely most perfect blend of Caramel, Orange, Cinnamon and Vanilla I have ever encountered! I can't stop sniffing my wrist, it's so addictive... I'm in love!! Yes! With a perfume! Am I ashamed? No freakin' way!!! It's official now,... the niche market has got my motor running, a few more tastes of fragrances like this and I'll be running out of fuel fast! Oke,... Excuse me, to whom do I apologize for this gaffe? I'd read the reviews but remained doubtful. Saw the notes pyramid, but...meh. I'm not that big a fan of citrus - I thought. Too much cinnamon - I mused. Too much bad luck with gourmands that smelled of cheap candy - not for me, I decided. But then, on a whim and encouraged by a sale, I picked up a bottle of Lira. Oh my......to think I've thought I smelled delicious before - ha! Lira is not only a stunning creation of such caliber my husband, unprompted, said I smelled amazing (*trust me, this never happens unprompted) but everything I thought I knew about my taste in gourmand scents is completely changed. This citrus is rendered with such beauty I mourned its departure in the 2nd hour. The cinnamon not at all a kitchen condiment but rather something so perfectly applied it hints an almost amber note combined with the softest florals. But for me this is all about the previously unknown work of art that vanilla, caramel and musk could become when expertly deployed. Incredible. So, again, excuse me - I'm off to apply another spritz from this delectable scent and offering my apologies for not having picked this up sooner.

Photorealistic gourmand: orange vanilla cheesecake. The caramel note to me is very milky lactonic and gentle, rather than burnt sugar. Lots of creaminess to balance out the sweet and sour. Gets more linear and musky soft as it dries (citrus notes rarely stay present in any perfume). I do not perceive any lavender or jasmine, but the spicy cinnamon and liquorice are in the very background, and scratch the back of your throat when you inhale it. Like Creed Sublime Vanille, which is very clean girl subtle, and D&G Devotion, which is a sickly sweet punchy citronella citrus, had a baby. If you like those, I'd say this one's a safe buy. Impression: Very feminine, pretty, rich young girl with Sabrina Carpenter's hair, who has no care in the world and goes through life with joy and peace. It has a certain naiveté, just a pure glossy uplifting happy fragrance. As it settles, she calms down and starts reflecting a bit more, and shows her more mature, nurturing, warm and intimate side.

Ultimate spring/summer scent for me. I love smelling like a lemon cake - I know my husband loves it because every time I wear it he says I smell like a treat :) There are a bunch of sugared lemon scents, but this one hits the best for me. This does not have any kind of acidity that some of the others have on my skin. Skin chemistry with fragrance is so personal, a key player in why some people think the same scent smells so differently. The high price tag is definitely a draw back, but there are reputable sites to get it at a discount. I have moved to almost always buying 50ml bottles because I have so many. There are very few scents I want in a full 100ml+ size because I switch it up so often and I am not willing to pay exorbitant prices. Either way - not necessarily a safe blind buy because the lemon may hit differently on the skin for everyone, but always a favorite in my collection and one I would immediately repurchase if I lost all of my fragrances.

An absolutely lovely and incredibly smooth gourmand that deserves the attention it gets. The opening is like a fairytale Christmas with the sweetest blood orange intrigue, lasting for a couple of hours. It is not a sharp sitrus as we are used to, it is a creamy caramel sort of yammy. So good, I would have loved it to stay at that point forever. Splash decants do not do this magic justice, not even close, one needs a spray or a small bottle even to be able to get the whole story. Cute little 30ml bottles do the trick. The dry down is the most gorgeous caramel vanilla, forming a scent bubble for a good 6 hours, then remaining a skin scent for another 6. I apply a lot, 6-7 sprays. I'd say Lira is moderate on sweetness and it rather makes it more wearable and classy, as opposed to smelling like a cinnamon vanilla bun while wearing some other gourmand with the same notes.

This is amazing and it is unisex. Yes it is marketed toward women but it is a unisex fresh vanilla that is perfect for summer. This smells amazing at all temperatures and times of day but it really shines in the heat. I don't know why most people are saying this is autumn and winter only, it definitely works for summer. Casamorati is an Italian brand, they understand how to make hot weather safe scents. This opens with beautiful freshness and a hint of vanilla but the sharp edge is taken off the citrus and lavender by the jasmine. The jasmine is not strong or noticeable here, it is only present to soften the top notes while still allowing the fragrance to remain fresh. Over time the vanilla becomes more prominent as the top notes reduce but the vanilla never becomes sweet, cloying or overwhelming. This is masterfully blended and easily my favourite summer fragrance

Lira is a beautiful citrusy, woody, vanilla perfume, and it is so soft. It is absolutely gorgeous! It smells like lemon pie and is delicious. BUT! It lasts less than a minute. The longevity is so poor, which is such a disappointment. I don’t understand why this cannot last longer. Such a shame. I desperately need this perfume to last. I even considered buying the 100 ml bottle (I have the 30 ml one), but what’s the point? It would still last for too short a time. So I’m not sure what to say about this, except that it is great, but maybe only worth buying in a smaller size. EDIT: I finally found copy of Lira! It is Voux Zeste Paris Corner! Zeste is a bit more citrusy but still creamy, no plastic or detergent smells, and costs like 30,40€. Total recommendation!

I was not going to weigh in until I saw some of the angry reviews where people are outraged that someone has a different experience from theirs. My father was a perfumer. Perfume preferences are highly individual and personal. I love Lira, just like I love Mitsouko and Jicky and Le Labo Poivre. I don't know if anyone else does and I don't care. It is a sweet citrus perfume and that is why I got it. I have other chypres and ouds and wanted something exactly like this as a choice when I am feeling like smelling sweet. I also love Balenciaga's Paris. And YSL Cinema. I have a range of scents that smell good to me and on me. I don't care to listen to influencers because their body chemistry and mine are different. Q.E.D.!

Lira isn’t something I’d normally go for — I don’t usually like citrus — but this surprised me in the best way. It smells like a spiced lemon cake dusted with sugar and warmth. The citrus isn’t sharp, it’s more like lemon glaze on a buttery cake, sweet but never cloying, and backed by this gorgeous warmth that makes it feel cozy and luxurious rather than fresh or summery. There’s a slightly fizzy, almost orange soda vibe in the beginning, but it quickly melts into something more elegant and dessert-like It’s one of those scents where I didn’t expect to like it — citrus and lavender aren’t my usual picks — but it’s blended so well that I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. It’s warm, edible, and elegant all at once. 8/10

@HeidiCL - please try not to rub any scent once sprayed! Spray it on each area you want it to be on... rubbing it bruises the scent! (It's believed that this action can interfere with the fragrance's drying process and alter the aroma by disrupting the delicate balance of its components - essentially, it negatively impacts the fragrance's notes and longevity!) Regarding why it lasts less on one wrist versus the other is due to individual skin chemistry differences, varying degrees of moisture, and body temperature. Hot tip: I always spray scent on the backs of my hands if it's a poor performer as it always lasts longer due to lack of temp and oils on the back of the hands!

Absolutely beautiful! I get why it has many comparisons to popular lemon gourmands, but this is something more. This is the refined elder sister to Devotion, Bake, Victoria, Super Milk etc. I have 3 out of the above mentioned and wondered if it was worth it to purchase Lira,so I acquired a decant before committing to a full blindly purchased bottle. I really like this! It’s more wearable , to me and for my tastes, than the lemon gourmands I have. This is something I would enjoy wearing out and not just for extremely casual days or as a bed scent like I find to be the case with Victoria and the like. I’ll probably purchase a full size bottle.

Lira is probably my signature scent. It’s a sweet, slightly citrusy, caramel-and-shortbread cloud—gourmand but perfectly balanced, not ultra thick and not fluffy. It hits the nail on the head. People absolutely love it when I wear it, a massive compliment getter. There are definitely cakey elements, but I feel like it works beautifully in all seasons. Simply gorgeous. I’m an ultra-gourmand lover, and I absolutely adore it. I don’t like lavender or floral elements, so this one is totally safe for me. Honestly, I don’t pick up any rose or jasmine either, so I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the listed floral notes.

Those of us who love this fragrance but believe that it lasts about two seconds and has no projection must be anosmic to some of the notes. I received my bottle today and put it on passionately around noon and again in the afternoon but was so disappointed with the dire performance. However, my partner kept complementing me on it until ten o’clock in the evening, saying they could still catch whiffs of it in the air! I wish I could enjoy the delicious bubble of the lactonic caramel and blood orange around me all day. I’m going to take a short break from it, hoping my sense of smell comes back. I’m in love with Lira!

I loved "Casamorati - Lira (Eau de Parfum) | Xerjoff" when I first smelt it and it was my no.1 favourite cakey lemon scent, but having bought a full bottle I felt a bit let down. It was so weak in the beginning. I’ve now had my bottle for 6-8 months and it’s improved so much! It’s now the scent I fell in love with in the first place. So if you buy one of the newer bottles and find it weak, just give it time. It will get better. Lira is a beautiful sugary lemon cake scent. Perfect for all year round. She got knocked off her no.1 spot but she’s back up there again.

This layers beautifully with spring/summer scents like Love Tuberose, Soleil Blanc or Beach Walk. I discovered this when I was playing around trying to recreate the long-discontinued Tom Ford/Estee Lauder creation Azuree Soleil Eau Fraiche Skinscent. I loved that perfume. It was a beach resort scent that also had gourmand notes. My layering experiment doesn’t quite reach ASEFS’s brilliance but it’s in the same area. I get so many compliments when I layer Lira with the above. It is also good on its own, but I probably won’t wear it alone until Autumn.

I went to a niche perfume store, expecting to buy something completely different. This was my first time loving a citrus vanilla, it's not normally my style. It is safe to say it is one of those creations to 'alter my brain chemistry', broadening my palette. Love at first sniff. When I make a lemon drizzle cake and sprinkle some lavender on top, this is what this smells like. The blood orange lifts it nicely. And it lasts. The whole range has a unique signature, that makes me feel like a bee in a trance.

It's a lemon pound cake fresh out of the oven. I'm usually quite wary of gourmands, but this scent is a masterpiece. It smells literally like a piece of lemon cake with no extra fluff or filler. Sure, the longevity and sillage are heavily debated. On me, it's slightly more intimate but lasts ages. It's kind of sexy to smell like a delicious baked good, in my opinion. And it's far more unique than the vanillas people usually go for when trying to smell sexy-sweet. I get zero blood orange from this btw...

Sampled this on paper. Folded up the paper and sealed it in an empty ziploc bag I happened to have in my purse. It was that good. I’ll think about it forever until I end up buying a decant... probably closer to the fall season, though I think it can be a year-rounder. Point being, I’m not usually a gourmand superfan, but I really adored this. There’s something a little lonely about it, like the sort of woman who doesn’t rely on anyone else. Soft sweet lemon without being juvenile in any way.

I decided to LAYER fragrances this evening. Rarely do I ever do this, but I wanted to tonight. I started with Soft Focus from FZOTIC. Then I applied LIRA from the casamorati line. And you know what I learned? I learned that my beloved xerjoff casamorati collection is not as strong as I thought they were. And that makes me very sad! Isn't it funny how your taste changes over the years? It happens to everybody! That's it. Soft focus is a beautiful fragrance and you should try it out.

This is so unique. Orangey caramel. Sweet and citrusy at the same time. Dry down reminds me of Guerlain Vanille Planifolia, it has that rich vanilla note in it, but not very gourmand, more like settle vanilla. It last all day on my skin. However, it don’t have that silage like other fragrances I owe. It’s not similar to D&G Devotion like others voted for. I honestly tried to have more affordable similar scent, but nothing compares to Lira. So yummy. 10/10, in my top 10 😊

Am i too late to leave a review here? LOL. i know people RAVE about this but I was like.. mehh ..just another vanilla perfume. Last wekk I went to a mall and decided to give this a sniff.....and now I have a full bottle of Lira. OHMYGOD. it is soooooooooooooo beautiful! It's almost like Guerlain Angelique Noir little sister. It's spicy, green vanilla thats not cloying, not juvenile, not plasticky. To make it beastmode, I layer it with Bianco Latte.

I LOVE this one, it's everything I want to smell like. A fluffy vanilla and lavender sponge cake with lemon zest icing and a warm cup of chai latte. It's sweet, creamy and warm but not offensively sweet. I think it is suitable for every season, day and night. It's likable but at the same time it has some depth to it. I just wished it had greater silleage and was a bit more long lasting for it's price. But I will buy this again when mine runs out!

smells exactly like a delicious, sweet lemon cheescake at the opening, i wish it stayed that way for more than 15 minutes. turns into an average vanilla scent with a mix of citrus later. i might have to start making my own perfumes just to replicate the opening of this with better longevity. projection and longevity is so poor that by the time you smell your wrist it will mostly be gone. i'd recommend everyone to try litra at least once though

Lemon pound cake dream. I have had samples of this fragrance multiple times throughout the years, and every time I do, it's a treat! Incredibly well-blended, fluffy gourmand that smells juicy/natural, and not artificial or cloying. I am quite confused by the comments that this is a pure vanilla scent, since I really believe the citrus notes are prominent throughout the life cycle of this fragrance. Pretty long lasting as well

ugh this is perfect literally what I’ve been looking for the past decade why didn’t I try lira sooner!! tried so many of the other popular citrus / vanilla scents before this. so soft and delicate. so wearable. reminds me of the grown alchemist orange hand cream however it’s been a while since I smelled it. devotion is so harsh in comparison. unknown pleasures and Chelsea morning too heavy. the opening is divine

It wasn’t a love at first sniff but I recently revisited this beauty after letting it sit for 5 months unnoticed and my god! Smells like a beautiful lemon cupcake. I’m obsessed. Maybe letting it sit a while helped because at first the citrus was much more sharp, now it smells like lemon zest on a vanilla cupcake. I think this is beautiful for the spring time. Longevity and projection are also decent

Absolutely magnificent, and pretty unisex in my opinion. It opens with a very pungent citrus, that quickly dries down into a beautiful lemon cake(or lemon meringue soap from the brand “labell” if you’ve ever tried it) type scent. The only gripe i have with it is that it does stain yellow. The longevity is pretty good and the projection is also there but not overbearing. Definitely a compliment beast

For anyone rightly questioning the change of notes, it would seem they have been amended because Xerjoff have changed them on their official website. Taken directly from there are: Top: Blood Orange Lavender Flowers Bergamot Heart: Cinnamon Jasmine Rose Base: Caramel Musk Vanilla I'm going to assume they have changed the formula too. That being the case, I'm glad I have an older bottle.

This fragrance cannot be described with words! Whenever I wear this it is nearly impossible to keep quiet. The best way (and the only correct way) to describe this is by groaning and moaning, it is THAT good, should've been illegal to be fair. Luckily it is not a well known perfume collection where I am from, therefore I will keep on gatekeeping this forever... URHHH!!

What can I say! I I LOVE this fragrance. I’ve been reaching for this scent lately more than usual and it’s because it makes me happy when I smell it. Prepare to receive compliments when you wear this fragrance. A woman chased me down the street to tell me I smell amazing. I was only wearing Lira. If you love caramel, citrus, vanilla gourmand. Lira will be your girl.

Truly one of the most gorgeous perfumes I've ever smelled. Angles eating lemon cake in heaven. While I believe it is worth the cost because of what a masterpiece it is, there exists a perfect dupe if the cost is prohibitive: South Sea Pearl by Breathtaking Gems. Devotion and L are similar perfumes, but not a perfect dupe the the one I mentioned is. Thank me later.

This fragrance is pure gold. I don't like very sweet, girly perfumes and I was afraid that it will smell exactly like that, but this perfume has so many layers that compliments each other so much. It is sweet, but in the best way possible. Smells like expensive lemon curd cake, very cozy, light and absolutely delicious. I will wear it in winter.

Orange spice cake but airy...I can see why people might choose to wear this year round, but this is a fall/winter fragrance for me. The spices remind me of holiday desserts. This fragrance disappeared on my skin within literally 5-10 minutes but lasts days on clothing with moderate projection. Test on fabric if you have a similar issue!

I’ve just opened my winter bottle for the year (Australia), and I’m instantly ready for the oncoming long nights, rainy days spent curled up reading, cooking warming food, the lot! Lira is the epitome of winter; it’s fresh and crisp at the open, and slowly warms with the day into a caramel vanilla dream by bedtime. Forever a love.

This baby is SO worth the hype. It's literally a caramel lemon cake in a bottle. This is one of my favorite gourmands and literally the only way I can enjoy citrus in a fragrance, so much so that I actually wish the citrus note lasted longer. Yes, the longevity is not great but the smell is delicious and heavenly.

The opening is so divine! The citrus and lavender notes shine beautifully against the backdrop of vanilla and caramel. It's a gorgeous contrast. Then everything blends together into a lovely lemony-caramel haze. I love the poetic name, it makes me imagine this fragrance as the sweet, golden sound of a lyre.

One of the best gourmands of all time and tbh the best thing from the house of Xerjoff. My jaw hit the floor when I tried this at the Xerjoff boutique in Harrods. I knew immediately I had to have a bottle, and I managed to secure it in a trade. Vanilla and citrus done in the most beautiful way possible <3

This is so good bruh, It's in the same category as nishane ani and deg devotion but more gourmand and photorealistic. It's citrusy and a bit frssher in the opening and then after 15 minutes u get this really good powdery and sugary vanilla. It's smells like pandoro which is an italian christmas sweet

I have written a review earlier - but need to update; I was writing that the longviety is poor. Well, I've had it for some time now (maybe a year or so) - and suddenly it's beast mode. I took two sprays before work the other day, and my boss asked if I'd bathed in vanilla 😬 I now only use one spray.

Has anyone else noticed that the notes have been altered on here? And in turn the accords as well.. where did the licorice go? Why are the votes for the blood orange note and others reset? Was rose always listed?? Citrus used to be the top labeled accord and now it’s nonexistent lol. Very strange

Just amazing. I sampled this early in my fragrance journey and judged it far too harshly. Having tried dozens more fragrances since, I realized what a marvel this fragrance is. It’s a straightforward blood orange caramel scent that is alluring and elegant. Amazing performance as well. 10/10.

I tried a piece of Colomba in Bologna, and the day after found in Duty Free this smell accidentally. On me it smells 100% like Colomba/Panettone, sweet soft cake like brioche and with dried sweet orange and maybe a bit of marzipan. Amazing, I will get a bottle when I get a chance next time.

This was my first niche purchase. If you want to smell like a pastry shop, go get it! Starts off with those citrus notes and later dries down to pure vanilla and caramel scent. Love this one, but it is not as long lasting as I would want a perfume to be, especially considering the price.

Too good, it almost drives me crazy sniffing my arm. Normally I would hate this kind of perfume, but it's got a dry edge with the beautiful lavender that stops it being a true gourmand, and the sweetness is natural-seeming and restrained. To me it's 100% unisex.

The scent is a 10/10. So soft, sweet and cozy lemon pound cake. The problem is it doesn't really project and the longevity is moderate on me. For the price I expected it to be stronger, but for the scent it's worth it. I don't think this can be easily duped.

Straight up a lemon cheesecake for me. This is a wonderful gourmand. Unfortunately, doesn’t last very long on me. I have the hair mist and a perfume so I layer both but it’s definitely not a beast mode. Sad, because if it were, it would be in my top 3. 9/10
