Quattro Pizzi

Blind bought this, mainly because the notes looked promising (tuberose is a top 3 note for me), the bottle is gorgeous, positive reviews, curiosity for the brand and a HUGE discount (100 euros!) on deloox. I would not have blind bought this at full price but i felt like splurging 175 on something i wanted really badly. Im incredibly impressed. this scent is really hard to explain, since its surprisingly very multi faceted. Im gonna try to break it down The opening: this part threw me off a little at first. it is incredibly green & bitter (and almost industrial) for the first minute. as it settles on ur skin, the rum and the spices show up. while those notes are doing their thing, the tuberose and coconut in the middle start to say hi. this combination creates an unexpected effect, where it has the same bitter/medicinal yet sweet attribute as marzipan. it doesnt smell like marzipan, but it smells like what marzipan tastes like ykwim? That may not sound good, but it works incredibly well with this natural and delicious smelling tuberose and coconut combo. The sweetness in this perfume is far from synthetic smelling. its never cloying or sickening to me. As the marzipan fades away, the tuberose gets especially pronounced while maintaining its bitter green aspects. it remains sweet, but this time it becomes more honey like. middle/drydown: this is where i notice the base notes the most. it becomes quite bitter again, but this time theres no new sweetness. The tuberose is taking the lead and the coconut remains in the background, just like all the other notes. Its not Carnal Flower level of tuberose though, since its not being supported by other white flowers here. Even though tobacco and hay dont necessarily smell clean, the middle part becomes a tad bit soapy in some aspects and in some sniffs. I like this a lot because it feels like im smelling an unlit cigarette and expensive soap at the same time. This soapiness isnt too pronounced, so if you dont like soapiness, you dont have to worry. The perfume eventually retains this state and warms up slightly by the tonka in the most beautiful way. its a tuberose coconut combo that never smells like sunscreen. it doesnt smell tropical either. SOmetimes i do notice the coconut a bit more than other times, but i dont find that to be a bad thing. late drydown: after hours and hours of performing, i sudddenly find my arm smelling like Do Son ! It seems like once every note is gone, the tuberose decides to stay and make it known that she wasnt here to play. the end of Quattro pizzi is like the beginning of Do Son, and i really love that scent. its pleasant and natural smelling. Quattro pizzi is just warm and bitter enough to be enjoyable in cold weather. If you love tuberose, you might need to give this some time. top notes are important cuz they give u a first impression of what a perfume is gonna be like, but here its not the case. it goes from being borderline unbearable to a wonderful perfect green sweet tuberose. It doesnt smell like any other perfume either, until after 8 hours. dont blind buy it but definitely try it out and try to get to know her

This is my second review of this, and i still love it as much as i did before. I just needed to point out something about tuberose in general, and it has a lot to do with this perfume. Okay so i am a botany nerd and i love to garden and grow flowers. It got me into tuberose and perfumery as a whole. I have been a whore for tuberose for a while now, but i had never seen the flower in real life before. I didnt know what ‘realistic’ tuberose meant, so i basically went with other peoples descriptions of it. Do son and carnal flower were my reference points for a realistic tuberose, and quattro pizzi compared to those does not really smell ‘natural’ or ‘photorealistic’ Well i was very wrong! I decided to grow tuberose because i wanted a challenge and i was very curious about the real smell. Mind you, not a lot of people grow tuberose in the Netherlands, so i didnt have the luxury to come across a plant and smell it. Fast forward to october, my 10 bulbs have all pushed out wonderful flowers. And their scent is so amazing and so strong. To my surprise, out of all the tuberose perfume ive smelled, quattro pizzi was the most realistic! Especially in the drydown. The internet made me believe it would have a very similar scent to real jasmine, and it slightly resembles it, but it goes a completely different path. Tuberose smells sweet, mentholated, spicy (like clove), green, slightly indolic and RUBBERY. It has a prominent latex/rubber resemblance but in a very good way. Quattro pizzi captures all of these facets perfectly, even though it has other prominent notes like tobacco and coconut. It adds more beauty and uniqueness to this perfume and i might love it even more now. Carnal flower strays away from the rubbery spicy and sweet facets and focuses a lot on the green mentholated aspects of tuberose. It combines multiple indolic white florals so it becomes less specific and photorealistic. I still love it but i wouldnt consider it a ‘realistic tuberose’ anymore. It comes close, and it probably doesnt aim to be a soliflore anyway. Do son.. well. It smells too fresh and crisp to be realistic. It ends up smelling like just white florals once again without the intensity, uniqueness and ‘claws’ of carnal flower. Fracas smells NOTHING like tuberose Tubereuse absolue smells soapy bitter and green to be realistic Most other perfumes with prominent tuberose notes dont smell like tuberose at all. I wont name them all here because i cant recall many specifics, but tom fords soleil blanc and giardini di toscana’s almafolia are prime examples of fake tuberose. I know perfumery isnt about realism, and i know most brands dont use actual extracts of plants to use them in perfumes. i also know flower oils rarely smell like the real thing. But its fun to know that the perfume i once considered an unrealistic tuberose turning out to be the most realistic.

I just love this fragrance and I find it so unique, being quite different to my usual white florals that I love and yet it is oh so satisfying! It is a very grown-up, green and slightly spicy tuberose that you wouldn't expect at all. It is very creamy and is definitely a white floral perfume, but the davana gives it that fruity, sweet and boozy kick and the rum gives it that sweet and aromatic molasses-tinged character in the top notes. I smell touches of spice from the pink pepper and coriander as well. I definitely think that the coconut gives it that added bit of creaminess and vanilla-like nuttiness in the heart of the fragrance and it always stays there from beginning to end, making me of the summertime of course, which adds a needed lightness to this fragrance. Finally, I smell a sweet and green character from the hay and a warmth and caramelized sweetness from the tonka bean and tobacco leaf, the tonka bean having that almond like character instead of green and grassy nuances and profile. It makes me think of both Cuba and the tropics but interestingly also Italy all at once, but very subtly. It is an incredibly sophisticated affair. I feel like this perfume is very versatile, being for all seasons pretty much, including winter, unlike most people's votes suggest on here. It can also be worn from day to night and could work on both genders, but I feel like it definitely leans a fair amount more feminine, so a man would have to be confident to wear this one for sure. Quattro Pizzi's sillage was moderate on me and its wear time was brilliant, lasting altogether a good 16 and a half hours on me! It is an expensive fragrance for sure, but I really feel like you get your money's worth and then some with this Casamorati by Xerjoff creation. The pearlescent white bottle that the fragrance is in is stunning too and even more beautiful in person, having an opalescent shift that changes color in the light. I love the elegant blue and yellow/gold tassel as well, since it adds a nice touch and contrasts beautifully with the opalescent white bottle. I honestly can't stop smelling this fragrance on my wrist, which is why I give this an excellent 8.7 out of 10. Two thumbs up from me!

Oh this is pretty! I can't believe I don't see Carnal Flower listed in the reminds me of, this has got that DNA written all over it. When I first spray my tester I'm assaulted with a spicy peppery blend, like a bag of those cinnamon hot tamale candies I used to love eating as a child. As it begins to dry down and meld into the skin I get the unmistakable buttery signature of tuberose. This is good quality white floral oil though, not what they're using in Mugler these days, not that celebrity fragrance middle note "jasmine" that you could pick up in a Ross overpriced for $30. This is that vacationing at a resort in Mexico and the ladies braid flowers into your hair by a beach bonfire on a July night tuberose. It makes me long for and become nostalgic over memories I've never experienced but I can almost be transported there with the magical qualities of this fragrance. The spiciness dies down, but it never goes a way permanently which is another reason I think it reminds me closely of the eucalyptus that's present very strongly to me in Carnal Flower. There's a suntan coconut oil note in there as well but it's coconut oil that's been rubbed into cleanly showered skin and then radiating off once you're on the beach in flip flops and a brightly colored sarong, the sand sinking into your toes but the sun has now set so it feels cool to the touch. I can't believe what an underrated gem this is. And it's currently discounted online, whereas I never see Frederic Malle perfumes go on sale. If you're a lover of tropical white florals you cannot go wrong with this. Obviously test it first, because I'll be honest I wrote this one off pretty quickly the first time I tried it, but I fell in love with it the second time. Still it's a must try, and I fear I've become obsessed and will need to pick up a bottle before the Summer is over.

In reply to all the Rouge Malachite comparisons, there is only a slight similarity. Which is creaminess. Both are tuberose forward scents, but whereas rouge malachite is warm, resinous, balmy, cozy and sensual, quattro pizzi is green, bitter, waxy, rubbery and spicy. Rouge feels like a big abstraction of tuberose, it focuses on certain elements of the flower but leaves out some others. Quattro pizzi is an extremely true to life tuberose AND more. I think qp is only similar to rouge in its first hour, but then it starts blooming into its own thing. Weirdly, it only seems to get stronger and more diffusive as time passes which sounds like the opposite of most perfumes. Qp begins like a slightly vague creamy floral, just like rouge, but eventually comes to life and introduces coconut, hay and maybe a hint of tonka (i dont personally get it). So no, they are not interchangeable or the same fragrance. Qp is not a dupe and its not redundant to try this if you own rouge malachite. Also, rouge malachite didnt invent creamy tuberose so idk what all these comparisons are about... rouge malachite as a smell is pale ambery brown , while qp is dark lush green and pearly white (like the bottle). Rouge is wintery, soft and like a hug. Quattro pizzi is summery, lively and fun. Develop your noses yall

I have a complicated relationship with tuberose. I like her generally, but geez, sometimes she's too much and then I purge all my indolic frags and roll my eyes when another new scent features tuberose. However, my undying love for coconut had me purchasing a 5ml decant of this, and now on the 3rd wear in Texas June heat, I think this one is really growing on me. The green quality saves Quattro Pizzi--tuberose pairs so well with coconut it's hard to tell where the coconut ends and the floral notes begin. I love rum booziness in perfumes, and it's consistent here even in dry down. I get a Guerlain SDV vibe, if she were on vacation and left the vanilla at home, lol. The greener background notes add balance, the tobacco leaf base is a genius follow up as it tamps down the creamy element making this a good summer pick. This is never cloying or too much--it stays round, boozy, balanced, and fairly dry. In full dry down I'm getting some spice notes and I still enjoy it. This isn't what I expected from Xerjoff; I didn't expect to like this one so much. It might also be worth mentioning that one of my favorite creamy summer scents is Tiziana Terenzi's Vele--another creamy vacation floral balanced by green notes and dry spices/elements.

I smelt this in Harrods and loved it instantly. I had a few sprays on my arms, and they wafted deliciously throughout my day. I then purchased a sample to confirm it was worthy of being a full bottle, and now have a 30ml. As a lover of both tuberose and coconut, I knew there was major potential, but I usually don't enjoy tobacco dominant scents, so feared that note could be make or break for me. I've worn QP twice this week, and it projects so beautifully, I get the green tuberose-creamy coconut combination without much of the other notes being apparent. On my first wearing I thought it was perhaps slightly soapy, and although I do still get that, it pulls more like a creamy, clean and green vibe, kind of like I got in Amouage Honour woman - the colours green and white are for sure what I imagine from this scent, and it reminds me of a body lotion type scent. This is also a little bit laundry musk fresh on me, and although I generally find those scents a little one dimensional, this has that aspect whilst also adding the floral and creamy aspects. The longevity and performance are great, easy 6-8 hours and I get gorgeous bursts of scent as I go through my day. I suspect I will upgrade to a 100ml at some point!

Quattro Pizzi was a blind buy for me and such a successful one! I absolutely love Rouge Malachite and I knew I would likely love this one as well, and I'm glad I took the chance and bought it. They are very, very similar and you definitely don't need both, unless you prefer having multiple fragrances with a similar note profile (which I personally do). I find Quattro Pizzi very elegant, sophisticated, expensive smelling and very, very strong (you only need a couple of sprays). It opens with a green, slightly aromatic tuberose that quickly settles into a creamy, floral, coconut dominant dry down. It's not too sweet but not too tart either. I didn't find the Hay or Tobacco notes too overpowering, on my skin, I still get the creamy coconut and tuberose deep into the dry down. I wouldn't wear this in very hot weather as it can be too much, but it's perfect for Spring and works well in Fall and Winter too. Very feminine leaning in my opinion, and I tend to wear a lot of unisex fragrances. I love the house of Xerjoff and was so impressed with Quattro Pizzi, this is definitely one of their best launches recently. Sample first, but if you love Rouge Malachite, it's very hard not to like this one too.

Quatro Pizzi will be my next Xerjoff purchase as soon as can be found on discount sites. It’s very expensive and it smells like that. I get mostly a mix of thick, very spicy tuberose, dark, rich rum and a very green, aromatic davana with hints of coconut, pink pepper, coriander, tobacco leaf and tonka beans. It’s gorgeous and unlike any other Xerjoff I have tried. It’s beautiful done and if you love tuberose, like me, but not the typical, sweet, bubblegumy, girly tuberose, Quatro Pizzi is a must have in my opinion! The deep dry down is mainly a creamy tuberose. Plus, that pearlescent bottle is a true eye candy. Pearlescent bottles speak to my soul for some reason, it makes me want to collect them all. Luckily, the scent smells divine and performs beautifully. It’s really intense and projects strong for the first two hours. Just waiting for a good deal to add Quatro Pizzi to my always growing Xerjoff collection. Instant love! Throughout the scent’s lifetime, an airy, pleasant coconut sits in the backseat, giving this perfume a creamy, summery sunscreen vibe. In the opening, I get a lot of tuberose that pairs with the pink pepper for sweetness. A little bit of davana participates by adding a bit of green-ness. Moments after that first spray, a deep, warm tobacco introduces itself. This is, at its core, a creamy tuberose, but the tobacco fights for just as much dominance. For the first couple minutes, you wouldn’t be able to decide whether it’s a man’s scent or not; very soon, the tuberose, coconut and tobacco blend into this beautifully feminine tobacco-tuberose sunscreen. Very unique take on tuberose, a must try if you’re a fan of the accord. Don’t be afraid of the green accord, smells nothing like hay. Perfect for summer, can use well into the fall. Scent: Aromatic is definitely the word. It is sweet tuberose, but with a lot of green freshness. The coconut and rum create such a juicy and summery vibe, while still being fancy, over the top and evening appropriate. I love pink pepper in anything, and the tonka makes this a very well balanced fragrance, where gourmand creaminess and spiciness coexist in perfect harmony. The drier tobacco and hay to my nose are only present in the very late drydown. Gender: potentially unisex, but there is a lot of sweetness, so I assume more women would be interested in it. Impression: she is young, but very well educated, confident and mature. Intriguing, mysterious, "dark academia" if you will allow an aesthetic analogy. It's a summer evening, and she's at a Cambridge university gala in a long silk slip dress. She smiles like she knows something you don't and you can't help, but follow her to find out. There is a lot of duality and unexpected combinations in this fragrance. Completely unique, like nothing I've smelled before.

I avoid fragrances with boozy notes because I usually don't like them but the rum in this just enhances the other notes as its so smooth and beautifully blended. Tuberose perfumes aren't for everyone but I have a slight obsession with them and this is very tuberose forward. At the base I get Blanche Bête but if you don't like that one, don't write QP off. The coconut is creamy and luxurious whilst the tonka and hay stop it from becoming too much like sunscreen. Thankfully, I can't detect the coriander at all which is good because it's presence completely ruined Gentle Fluidity Gold for me. Others have said that they don't find QP anything original or groundbreaking but I personally don't think all perfumes have to be. They are meant to bring pleasure and make us feel more beautiful. This is bringing me memories of expensive European holidays when you're enjoying an aperitif during golden hour watching the sunset on a balmy evening when your skin is warm and you're wearing an expensive outfit. It's unforgettable.

I'm a sucker for white florals so I was naturally drawn to this one, even though tuberose is not one of my favourites. I gave it a try a few times before getting a full bottle and each time the opening was bothering me quite a bit. Something about the combination of davana and the tuberose, kind of reminds me of nail polish or something. But once davana goes away after first 10-15 minutes and tuberose calms down a bit, the fragrance becomes sooo smooth and addictive. On top of what is mentioned in the notes breakdown, I get on my skin a bit of honey and fruity notes. I don't know how it compares to other fragrances mentioned so often below as I do not know them but it does remind me a bit of L'Interdit Absolu from Givenchy, even some of the notes are the same. Longevity and projection are very solid and I'm quite happy with the purchase. I'm not so sure if it's a typical summer fragrance, I think it will work whole year round.

Note to everyone testing this fragrance: it leaves a completely different scent in the air than when smelled right against the skin. In the air I get a beautiful floral coconut scent. It is tropical and creamy. I get a hint of the spicy/soapy aspect of the tuberose, but just a hint. It reminded me a lot of Soleil Blanc in the air. I was convinced someone around me had just put Soleil Blanc on until I realized I was smelling my own sample of Quattro Pizzi projecting off my wrist. Up close, this fragrance is a soapy, spicy tuberose bomb which is interesting but one that I don’t really care for. I wouldn’t buy this fragrance if not for the incredible scent it leaves in the air. The up-close scent does chill out and get better after 30 minutes or so, though. This has stellar performance and longevity. It has great projection and will turn heads. A surprising fragrance for me and a reminder of why I like this hobby!

i discovered it by accident, i was first into YSL Supreme Bouquet, then someone told me that I should try Rouge Malachite and boom! thats it! goodbye YSL SP...Hello Armani RM... no turning back... thennnnnnn.. i discovered Xerjoff Quattro Pizzi which smells quite similar to Armani RM ~ the difference is Xerjoff QP smells more creamy bcoz of the coconut. when go to the office or formal occasions or dinner date , i'd spray on Armani RM. when im gonna be out and about with grilfriends during daytime, i'd spray on Xerjoff QP. both are chefs kiss!!! MUAXXX! i have tried many tuberose perfumes and i hate most of them. my last try was Love TUberose , which also, fell into my NO NO list. since then, i was so traumatized by any perfumes with TUBEROSE. Nonetheless, Armani RM and Xerjoff QP have changed my mind about tuberose. they're beautifully done, such perfection, i get compliments when i wear these two.

At the first smell, it feels like it is a bit more feminine but in my opinion it is a really sexy unisex fragrance. Tubereuse is usually a feminine smelling flower. However this is a tubereuse fragrance, the rum, tobacco and green notes settles this fragrance as unisex. I think I can't smell the tobacco leaf very much, but the rum note can be easily detected. They added a depth in a more masculine way. Ofc it is definetely not a masculine fragrance but these notes pulls the feminine smell of tubereuse to a unisex side. Furthermore there is a very smooth coconut that creates a creamy sweetness in the background. For me it is a perfect, well-blended and unique signature scent for both genders. Easily wearable for all seasons but not for all occasions. I expect it has an excellent performance for this kind of scent profile. Scent: 8/10

Ive sampled Quattro Pizzi at least 3x. Initially I was unsure, but something about it kept drawing me back in... Fast forward to today I adore Quattro Pizzi- during my latest test wear even my fiancé asked me what I had just sprayed because it smelled so heavenly. This may sound strange, but to my nose it smells like you’ve just placed fresh flowers on top of warm freshly laundered towels. It gives clean, floral, fresh, warm laundry vibes without all those annoying musk and Ambroxan notes that are usually associated with clean floral scents. Also if you can manage, I recommend getting a full spray from a bottle. The samples just don’t do this one justice which was partly why I was so unsure of my initial testing of QP. Lastly- I loathe Carnal Flower (see my reviews), QP is nothing like it.

Lately my boyfriend and I have been obsessed with Xerjoff, and I recently discovered the Casamorati collection. My boyfriend has loved basically every Casamorati fragrance on me, and this fragrance is the one I keep on spraying onto my skin whenever I go on fragrance shopping, but couldn't really make up my mind if it was truly worth it compared to the others from this collection. I kept thinking about it, then my boyfriend got it for me after all. He was absolutely right by doing so! A perfectly blended coconut fragrance! The opening is giving a very clean and shampoo-ish, where you get the slightest hint of coconut (which reminds me a little of The Body Shop's body butter). Once it dries down, you get this sexy and tropical spicy and fruity coconut scent that lasts all day.

Received a decant after I purchased other perfumes, it sat for some weeks on my shelf and today I decided to give it a try since I adore tuberose. I sprayed both of my wrists and off I went. Our first salutation was rough, I didn’t like the opening, I felt it quite harsh and I thought: “one perfume I will not buy”. After a few hours I came back to the room where I sprayed it and OMG the smell was delicious, I then smelled my wrists and I was just done for the day. To say I BATHED in QP and emptied that poor decant like I was taking a shower in a luscious garden is an understatement. As you can imagine, I just added QP to my “I want it” list. Lovely scent, a bit musky, a warm and inviting dry down... the tuberose is so creamy in all of its loudness. FB worthy!

My first from this house and it does not disappoint one bit. Its a beautifully sweet scent that melts into an almost honey with hay scent with tobacco and rum sitting in the background. I think this is a perfect scent for spring-fall. It could work in winter but it might not be heavy enough. I easily get 12 hours of big longevity. Like people can still smell me from a couple arms lengths away easily. I also notice this scent likes you to be warm and when you are it radiates off you like you just ingested some split atoms. I can still smell this scent on me over 24 hours later! Granted at this point (28hrs) its a skin scent, but it is still there. Absolute homerun scent. Please go out and smell this. I think it will be a future classic.
