Beautiful Day

I read several reviews. AND SURPRISED. Write about unjustified expectations! They write that they did not find ALMOND SWEETS. She shouldn't have been! there are almonds in the pyramid, and in the aroma it is bright, but as it is written FRESH GREEN ALMONDS. The perfume is very similar to PALAZZO FENDI. BUT SOFT, much softer. A BEAUTIFUL CREATION BY MAURICE ROUSSEL.💘

So excited!!! I love the previous 2001 launch also by Roucel and see that this new composition utilizes a similar palette. Can't wait to try it. UPDATE: Yes! It absolutely recalls the earlier scent, so much so that I‘m elated/thrilled to be able to wear that composition again. A must have for sweet almond lovers.

Sharp almonds and not much else. Seems its sweetness is not from the almonds. It's somewhat linear and not sophisticated at but at the same time mature bordering old lady scent. I like it a lot although it will never be a love. P.S The bottle is stunning.

I wore this perfume today. The red cherry-like almond scent is like a top and dry down. I'm much more satisfied than other expensive almond perfumes. I'd also like to get the Beautiful Day Intense and l'eau version.

Highly recommended for the fans of the old one, i love almond in perfumes and this has a sweet almondy feeling to it. Sillage and longevity is moderate, and i see my self wearing it all year round.

Je viens de me créer un compte juste pour ajouter un avis sur ce parfum. Si, comme moi, vous habitez à l'étranger et n'avez donc pas de Marionnaud à proximité de chez vous pour tester ce parfum, que vous aimez les parfums légers, floraux et amandés, vous serez tentés de penser que ce parfum est fait pour vous. J'ai passé des heures à passer en revue les avis laissés par les utilisateurs sur diverses sites et autres blogs avant de me décider à acheter un échantillon au format miniature sur Vinted. Après avoir lu tous les commentaires élogieux sur ce parfum, je pensais sincèrement avoir trouvé un parfum qui correspondait à mes attentes : sentir l'amande. C'est tout l'inverse ! Ça sent l'amande deux secondes et une odeur de parfum bas de gamme, entêtante et grossière au possible prend le dessus. Franchement, une énorme déception. Je n'arrive pas à comprendre comment quiconque pourrait mentionner l'arôme d'amande. Il est tout sauf amandé, ce parfum ! Et tout sauf subtil et léger.

I really don’t know what it’ll smell like in a couple of hours, the stink is unbearable. Scrubbed it off. Hate it. Do not blind buy this no matter the offer.

I purchased a small 7ml sample bottle of this after seeing the main accords on fragrantica. I would say my taste in fragrances is fairly pedestrian (I like inoffensive, soft feminine, sweet scents), so I was looking forward to a sweet almond scent; however, the opening this fragrance is far too screechy for my tastes. The opening harshness, which I describe as an overwhelming powdery floral scent and my mom describes as masculine (she told me I should give the sample to my bf lol), lasts for about 1~2 hours before drying down to a softer vanilla almond. I do like the dry down, but the opening is too much for me... ): I guess I’ll have to test this one out a bit more. The longevity is very good though. I applied it at around 6pm and could still smell it the next morning.

I wonder if this smells anything like the L'Occitane Almond range....

It's a shame, but this fragrance doesn't smell like L'Occitane Almond
