Sunset Caramel

Creamy and sweet, fresh and flowery, exotic and fruity... this perfume contains in a single bottle everything we could want from a summer perfume and not only. The top note is absolutely almond which with caramel already opens the way to an extreme sweetness. After the accord of exotic flowers such as tiare and ylang ylang they tell us that the fragrance is not only sweet but also sensual. Afraid that at this point it is too sweet? Not at all... the base remains fresh with an almost acidulous fruitiness. It fixes well on the skin thanks to an amber base and 40% concentration. Sunset Caramel is the perfume that definitively opens the summer season 2025 !!!

At first this smelled identical to Blanche Bete to me, which I love but don’t need two bottles of. Today I sprayed both side by side and could tell a difference, not a huge one though. This one is sweeter and not as heavy. I’m assuming it’s the peach/nectarine notes coming through. If Blanche Bete was just too much for you then give this one a try. If you already own Blanche Bete and love it then you probably don’t need this.

What a lovely scent. I don't have much to add after reading the reviews below. It's not a complex fragrance. I find it rather linear. That being said, I may re-order a larger decant for the summer since $200 seems rather steep for a fragrance I may wear maybe a few weekends over the summer period. I should add that I am a middle-aged man and I find this to be a unisex fragrance.

Usually not a big fan of gourmands but this one is quite addictive. There is something a little medicinal in it but it is also creamy which loosely reminds me of Valaya Exclusive.

This is so nice. Powdery Blanche bete like opening. It does settle down into a nice powdery scent, then it gets juicy and caramel like in the dry down. It lasts all day on me.

I want to preface by saying Blanche Bete for me was absolutely disgusting on my skin. It was too laconic and with other notes it smelled like spoiled milk and I was worried after blind buying this and seeing these reviews of all the BB comparisons and I’m happy to report that I smell where the comparisons are coming from. It does have a almost almondy milky aspect that smells like the laconic notes in BB however.. this one had added nectarines and other notes that come through to stop that milky facet to be overwhelming so it is much softer on the BB lactones and I’d also say this is done much smoother and the supporting notes are better because I not only don’t smell rotten milk but I actually enjoy the lactonic tone of this fragrance paired with the fresh nectarine and caramel. You also get lush orange blossom whiffs and some ylang ylang that also give this a lush and exotic feel that’s totally opposite of the warm nutty milk vibes you get from BB. This feels milky gourmand but fresh like an agua fresca from TikTok videos made with fruits and condensed milk and such.. refreshing yet creamy fruity drink but make it a lush luxurious fragrance. Trust me it’s good. And the bottle.. the packaging.. my god talk about beautiful. Packaging is so stunning with the colors and visuals.. then the bottle itself with the metal sunset plating.. my goodness not to mention the soft touch feel of the box and the actual white bottle.. it’s all so pleasing. It’s a beautiful addiction to my collection all around

This is far less gourmand than the name would have you expect. The dry spiciness from the anise is prominent and gives off a similar fresh warmth as a cardamom note. I get a lactonic coconut milk with heady white florals and a clean musk. Happily I do not experience much of the caramel so it doesn't lean too sticky sweet for summer wear. Very nice, well-balanced beachy perfume, without being too obvious, and dare I say quite sexy! Edit: upon second test this smells immediately very similar to Blanche Bete. I cannot believe I didn’t spot this the first time!

Lovely scent. I got a tester and immediately ordered a full bottle. Opens as the perfect beach summer scent. The dry down turns reminds me of a less strong (thankfully) Blanche Bete.

Blanche bete with an added Licorice note on skin. On paper I smelled the fresh peach note, but it doesn't translate to my skin.

Immediately thought of Soliel Blanc by Tom Ford when I smelled this.

I am enjoying a full-day wear test of this, but I won't buy a bottle. I appreciate the milky Ylang Ylang notes and white flowers, which are prominent. And the caramel and almond notes are lovely. But together I feel like I am wearing my whole perfume closet at once. That's an exaggeration, but I feel like I am layering fragrances that each hold their own and do not benefit from compounding. As a floral-gourmand it has too many disparate things going on for me - the whole is less than the sum of its parts.

Don’t believe the hype. This is a muted scent with an overdone scent profile - it’s like Eclaire, Blanche Bête, Z&V This Is Her, Her Confession, Qissa Delicious...all rolled into one. Not original, not distinctive. I am aghast that they are selling this for such a price, when it lasted less than 90 minutes on me.

Smells so similar to blanch bete and lactea divina , which I have. This one on my skin is very creamy, milky and heavily coconut. The anise here comes off like cinnamon to me. Very nice but if you have either ones of the fragrances I just mentioned , this isn’t needed or special .

Sweet almond with hint of milk and fresh floral undertones. Warm but light. Nothing special for that price point.

Powdery, very powdery. Very similar to Qissa delicious. Very disappointing.

A NO for me. Has that same plastic-y undertone that you can smell in Escapade Gourmand, plus an almost stomach turning very very powdery-ness. I need to stop listening to TikTokers

Really thought I was going to like this by the notes but it just smells like medicine.

This smells like Malta that’s gone too sweet. I hate it.

I can’t understand how anyone could like this, I get none of the notes. I’m left with a weird faint scent I can’t identify. 0/10

I just bought this blind and this is Blanche Bete,Bianco Latte and Bora Bora all rolled into one but way more sophisticated and less synthetic then those other fragrances And I have all three of them.This is signature worthy for a spring summer exotic gourmand fragrance. You can wear this in hot weather, and it will not overpower or become cloying at all. It does smell reminiscent of other fragrances like the ones that I mentioned, but I believe done better. Not too over priced. I purchased mine from scent split. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous as well as the packaging. If you like Blanche Bete,Bianco latte and Bora Bora but just want one Fragrance for your collection, then Sunset Caramel from Cave is perfect. There is also a strong resemblance to Sol de Janeiro 62 The notes are very similar with heliotrope and caramel they would layer very well together. Its very well blended and just beautiful and soft It does remind me of a summer, Sunset.

Oh wow, this is how you do lactonic scents and caramel. Beautifully balanced , each note is in perfect ratio to create the most luxurious scent without being overly sweet. It’s gourmand but luxurious gourmand! It’s a definite heck yes for me!!! Update: urgh!!!!!! I love this scent so much but the longevity is where it might make me decide not to purchase. Lasts about an hour on my skin and roughly the same on clothes...... had to sink my nostril into my garment where i patch tested it. Maybe it might be different when sprayed fully all over. 🤷🏽♀️

Sunset Caramel is a fragrance that has generated a lot of hype, and of course, I couldn't resist testing it. I had to try it several times on my skin to define it and describe it as best as possible. On my skin, at the opening, I smell a slightly sugary nectarine peach, almost like a fruit juice, which moistens sweet and caramelized notes. A fruity sweetness, with caramel that is detectable but doesn't overwhelm the other notes. Balanced and pleasant.

This is a pleasant, well balanced laconic perfume. I can see the comparison to Blanche Bête, they’re both very similar , but not the same. If you’re like me and wanted to love Blanche Bête and it didn’t work, definitely give this a try. Sunset Caramel is an addictive creamy, soft fruity floral that’s blended beautifully. I’m so happy to have it in my collection!

Just layer Blanche Bette with a coconut or peach scent such as Khadlaj Nuha or Lattafa Yara and you’ll basically have this. The DNA is repetitive at this point.

Musk and powder. I don't smell any of the other notes. Doesn't last long. It's an insult to compare this to Blanche Bette which, IMO, is a masterpiece.

Pretty very pretty but take bianco latte and blanche bete and add nectarine that's what this is.
