I am a Dandelion

I love this so much. Starts a bit grassy and dries down to a sweet realistic dandelion. I was wearing this and my husband said I smelled like a daisy. I sometimes layer this with Apres l'Ondee and it is so lovely.

Being a slightly anti-floral person (floral scents generally don't suit my skin chemistry and often give me a headache), I tried a sample of 'I'm a Dandelion' out of curiosity more than anything. It's lovely, and not like anything I've tried before. I don't really get the soapiness, just a delicious note of the mighty dandelion with undertones of freshly cut green grass. This mellows over time to... the smell of a fresh summer's day? There are other perfumes from this house that I prefer, but I take my hat off to the creator of this. I can't think of another perfume that has transported me to a sunny valley covered in a blanket of dandelions, which is pretty fantastic considering that in reality I'm sat in an office looking at a very grey sky!

Instantly photorealistic dandelion. Actually scary how accurate it is. Polar opposite of generic floral. Instead, bracing bitter green with uniquely musky flower scent only dandelions have. Nature so raw, it’s almost off-putting - but, that makes it special. Becomes less brusque as it settles with gently sweet floral top note balancing majority wet soil and sappy green stems. Close to being too baby powder, but saved due to flower notes not being generic. Can’t help but be awed by the realism. A must try for such an impressive achievement, but unique character requires testing before blind buying. Medium strength.

strange and wonderful. yes, dandelion, mowing the lawn, dandelions cut up. natural. dries down to mellow floral. faint gentle amber like. simple.

This one is pleasant, reminds me of shea butter hand cream and earthy grass. It is almost non existent after like half an hour which is a shame.

like it but it is a bit too soapy smelling for me. okay if worn with other scents. better for spring and summer.

well, i was bound to find a CBIHP scent i disliked eventually. unfortunately, this just makes me think of industrial toilet bowl cleaner (the blue stuff) or a fresh urinal cake. it's so persistently, cloyingly floral that my subconscious keeps thinking it MUST be covering up something rank & acrid. but nope, it's just smothering yellow flowers all the way down. i don't really get any other notes, not even any of the bright greenness/fresh-mown-lawn notes others have commented on. stays very linear and just fades out gradually over a couple hours. i was really hoping for more of the milky bitterness of actual dandelion leaves/roots/sap/stems than whatever this. smells more daffodil to me. tried mixing it with black march to give it some more kick, but once BM dried down, it's just more sweet yellow fluff.

What kind of dirt smelling dandelions are you all experiencing in your yards? Because mine smell like gorgeous honey and greenery. Meanwhile, this fragrance smells strongly of dirt. It does eventually develop onto the skin to have a soapy and slightly floral slightly incensey note and less dirt. But there are never any of the beautiful honey notes I was wanting. So disappointing. Not horrible, but not what I was looking for.

The notorious CB soil accord is there at the start but it subsides fast to reveal a delicate, transparent grassy note with something airy and buoyant that’s barely detectable. The scent is slightly sweetened by what I assume to be a floral of some kind, but as with a few of the CB scents, you have to strain your nose to smell it after just a short time. Green and grassy over a his signature soil with an overall airy sweetness buzzing around. Just like a real dandelion, one sneeze and the whole thing will blow away.

soil, rotting wood, wetness, then gets very creamy, clean and lightly floral, very nice! I really love that it starts with this wet soil/wood smell it's like that part is just there to entertain my nose. Then by the time I get to wherever I am going, there is the lovely floral for everyone else to enjoy. Really nice balance between more adventurous, aggressive notes, and easy to enjoy feminine, floral notes.

I truly love the first half hour of this, the experience is holographic. Grass, damp dirt, and bright, earthy-smelling dandelions. Like rolling on the grass on a summer day after a rainy night. It has a cheeky, childish vibe that makes me smile. Unfortunately, it dies down quickly.
