M5 Where We Are There Is No Here

I can't believe there are no reviews of this already. This fragrance is breathtaking and is stone cold proof that Christopher Brosius knows what he is doing. This has a scent, but it almost feels as though you're smelling it on another level from regular fragrances; shocking and stunningly beautiful, this is barely perceptible but projects a fierce distance. Iso-E Super is used in a fresh and novel way to a stunning effect. Possibly CB's best fragrance and a must-have for every jasmine lover.

This is really beautiful. A very subtle skin scent. A no perfume perfume for your no make up days. On my skin I get a quick hit of iso E super sweetness which quickly fades into a linear blend of a faint, hard- to -place floral that doesn’t quite smell like jasmine, and sandalwood, with a barely there musk. Only those within inches of you will be able to detect it. I think this would be my new signature if it lasted longer. It is gone in 90 minutes. I sampled the water perfume. I wonder if the absolute may have a bit more oomph?

On me this smells like warm cedar and sandalwood mixed with cold, wet, mineral rocks with the ozone and electricity from a thunderstorm combined with incense in the air. It is ambivalent, warm and cold at the same time. I do not smell the jasmine at all. I really like this scent, but I only wear it at home, alone. I think it might be a little too strange to wear in public. I would love for my house to smell like this though.

Where we are there is no here because here we just sprayed perfume waiting to go there and nothing happened. I smell like water if there is a smell, maybe the absolute is the way to go on this one but the water perfume is basically not anywhere in this dimension.
