Celine Dion Parfum Notes

I really love this celebrity perfume, it doesn't smell like a celebrity perfume at all. Sure, it's a fruity floral, but totally different from other celebrity style fruity florals, and even very different from most designer fruity florals as well. What distinguishes Celine Dion Parfum Notes by Celine Dion is the touch of bitterness. I love fragrances that have a bitter floral aspect - it provides a stateliness that somehow doesn't take away from the beauty or the friendliness of the perfume. This one is still warm and enveloping, but it is more dignified because of that bitter backbone. Think of how the bitterness of Poeme gives the perfume something to stand straight with (this doesn't smell like Poeme, even though they both share mimosa - there is no vanilla here.) I digress. What do I smell in Celine Dion Parfum Notes? I smell a watercolor spring floral, waterlily and peony the most, gardenia adding its billowy quality. Mimosa and heliotrope here are bitter, with nectarine - they provide the bitter nectarine skin. Nectarine is really prominent, but not exactly juicy or sticky sweet - it is dry yet sweet, providing warmth and sunshine. So unique, I haven't smelled a nectarine/peach fragrance that is not syrupy. Waterlily makes the fragrance "watery" but not too aquatic, like being by the bank of a stream with mimosa blossoms blooming in the air, but not actually in the water. I bought a 15 mL bottle off of eBay probably now about 6 or 7 years ago, and mine has still not turned or anything (surprising given the waterlily note.) I remember reading about it in Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez's book, and being excited to own a cheap fragrance that they had rated highly. Shame it has been discontinued, a really nice affordable signature scent.

I bought a bottle of this in 2004 when it was first released 20 years ago, along with another of hers simply titled Celine Dion. There in a Canadian pharmacy countertop ready to test. After wearing them, I preferred Notes more and bought another bottle immediately. Thrilled now that I did, got it for 15$. I am now halfway through it and it still smells exactly the same, having been kept in its box in a drawer between uses. To me it smells French, because of the slight bitter/ tart background that makes it chic and elegant rather than a linear fruity floral. It’s classy and timeless. The dry down is smoother and sweeter than the bright open, I love a perfume that goes from energetic to companionable.

I ve got CDN for christmas from my sister (who told me that she doesnt like sweet scents). so i was suprised as i constantly sniffed something sweet in it. and this kind of note i can feel till now. in the period I weared it, i liked it a lot. it was "happy" and easy and not causing headache, seemed to me sexy enough to attract attention of others.

This is my moms signature but I just start falling in love with the scent. It's so light and airy and makes me feel ultra feminine. Only wsh it would last longer but I guess I'll have to layer

This one definitely has class! Celine Dion "Pure Brilliance" is the only other scent that I own by her. And to be honest...I REALLY enjoy them both. Pure Brilliance is more fruity and young. This one definitely fits the "classy" bill. It's floral, it's sweet. The first hour...the powdery accord smells much more prominent than the above bar graph lists it. It's VERY powdery for the first hour. Then as others have mentioned...I smell mostly "sweet flowers" and just a TAD bit of a light woody accord in the backround. I honestly find this one pretty unique. I've never smelled anything like this before. I bought this one (I kid you not...)like two years ago. And when I pulled it out this morning to wear it, it was basically full. I must've only used it once or twice. I must've not appreciated it back then as much as I'm starting to now. Another word I must agree with on that I see in previous reviews is sensual. This is quite a sensual, and romantic perfume. Not just your "generic floral" perfume. Thumbs up on this one! I voted above with a like but it's a strong like! Longevity - 4 hours Projection - A good 2 feet which really sticks around. Doesn't turn into a skin scent until the very end. Overall Score - 8.5/10 I'm thinking of ordering another one from her line this week. You most definitely DON'T hear of her fragrance line in the media as you do with scents by other (mostly younger) celebrities. Hers need more publicity if you ask me. At least based on my experience with the two that I have so far. I like em!

Bought it as blind choice. I'd say it's nice and feminine scent, not overpowering, not sharsh, not sugary sweet. So, it's well balanced for young woman, but not for teenagers, it will be too heavy for them to wear stuff like this. Notes are matured, sophisticated, but not oldy. Light, warm and sensual, can brung cozyness through cold time, preferably for day time. It's opening with gardenia, water lily and peach, then turns to musky floral dry down. Great for office uses. The only one minus I've noticed is weakness, it doesn't lasts long, so you need to carry a small bottle in your purse to renew it, from time to time. The drydown reminds me of True Love from Elizabeth Arden.

He knew I love Celine Dion songs and brought it for me. To be honest, at first I didn't love this perfume, because it was special. After some time, I fell in love with it. Now me and Saeed are not together, but this perfume reminds me of him. I think he will never check this site, but it is my duty to say : Thank you Saeed💖.

Bought a large bottle of this in a bargain bin at my local chemist - only cost me £5! It is a very nice everyday fragrance - light, feminine and floral. I also like to spritz this onto bed linen. It doesn't last very long on my skin but I always get compliments when I wear it. I have had my bottle now for about 6 years and it still smells lovely - no deterioration in scent at all. Bright and breezy!

Notes is really nice and certainly not your cookie-cutter floral. Very fresh floral notes and just a hint of wood in the background. I agree with others that have said it smells like an expensive perfume but it's actually very reasonably priced. It's elegant, classy, soft and feminine but not girly. It's a grown up and womanly scent. If I can find it again, I would definitely buy more.

Notes could easily pass for a high end perfume, it's not the typical cheap celeb scent. The florals are sweet but not candied, and just light enough to keep N. work safe. N. is feminine but not girly. I'm not a fan of Ms. Dion's music, but this perfume of hers is very nice.

Notes is one of my all time favs. It smells fresh and fruity-flowery but also warm. I recently rediscovered the Celine Dion Parfums and bought a 100ml bottle of Celine, Belong and Notes each. Love the scent. Another modern classic. Sad it is discontinued.

I got this as a present too. I really like the top notes but the middle or the base has something to it that gives me kind of nausea. I use it sometimes, but it is definitely not my favorite smell.

I'm not a big fan of suffocating florals, but this one is okay. Whenever I wear it I get a lot of compliments, and everyone is always surprised its a Celine Dion.

this opens with tons of water lily and peony. there is some nectarine here giving a tartness to everything. later on i get a hint of white musk which makes it smell slightly like dryer sheets as well. in essence, it's a watery fruity floral. the nectarine imparts a kind of shampoo type of smell. i think a lot of people would like this but peony goes quite sharp on my skin, and combined with those other notes it's just too aquatic/intense for my tastes.

I have a .15 FL oz bottle of this- maybe Celine Dion just sucks at making scents because the ones i both own are rubbish.

I try to avoid becoming a perfume snob wherever possible, smelling a variety of fragrances from all different price points and brands. I'm not overly familiar with Celine Dion fragrances as they are not easy to come by in my country. As an elegant woman that is the epitome of Parisian-chic, Celine Dion seems like the kind of person that would smell of Chanel. I half expected her fragrances to be aldehydic and regal. Celine Dion Parfum Notes is surprisingly fruity. I immediately sense a clean, fruity shampoo aroma emanating from my wrist, which I attribute to the nectarine and peony accords. This fragrance has strong projection and an intensity that could become headache-inducing with a few too many sprays. I am surprised that this is an EDT. The heart and drydown is less fruity and more floral with a powdery-fresh blend of peony, water lily, gardenia and white musk. I feel that Celine Dion Parfum Notes is missing some depth, and I would have liked to see patchouli or amber added to this composition. I initially believed Celine Dion Parfum Notes to be the intense flanker of the original Celine Dion, however, I now realise that they have different scent pyramids. Unfortunately, peony and I aren't the best of friends, and in Celine Dion Parfum Notes the peony accord is tart and synthetic. The signature Coty musk note in the drydown doesn't make this scent any better. Sadly Celine Dion Parfum Notes was a screechy, ghastly fragrance on my skin. My incompatibility with this fragrance may just be a skin chemistry issue, however, it's hard to tell without having smelt it on someone else.

This is a great example of a bargain-priced perfume that smells very high-end and expensive. Gorgeous blend of flowers, extremely feminine and suitable for pretty much anywhere - straddles the line between opulent and everyday quite well. It is definitely a straight-up floral, which I love. Gardenia is the one I smell most, but it doesn't dominate as is so often the case, instead blended quite masterfully with the other florals. Quite realistic and a great choice for spring/summer, when things are in bloom. Mature, classy, and sophisticated, but simultaneously approachable and accessible to all. I reach for this one again and again. And I've never smelled anything else quite like it, which is saying something. A+, particularly when you consider the price point.

I loved this one, on my skin it was special...nobody else reacted so well with it from my friends, just me :))) so cheap, so ellegant I miss this and till today I try to find my daily signature among the more expensive labels, but I still dodn ́t find :( Something with peach, mimosa, water lily and vetiver If you know about something that would smell so fresh, clean and sweet in the same time, let me know please :) I love mimosa

The juice is an attractive bronzy color,with a matching matte bronze cap. This is a very flowery perfume. It's like sweet flowers. Flower sweet,not sugar sweet. Reminds me of being in the backyard in springtime,yet this can be worn comfortably in any season. Notes is very long-lasting. You don't need to re-apply that often. Very nice!

Very nice and comforting. You don't have to spend big money to smell beautiful. This fragrance is a purchase from nine years ago. Every time I put it on, I think to myself " Why don't I wear this more often?" It's quite mellow and sensual.

One of my favourite perfumes. It,s amazing how good can this one smell. Soft,elegant,feminine,seductive without being overpowering. It is the perfect scent of a young and beautiful lady in her 20s-30s. It,s gorgeous.

Celine dion is so elegant, clean, fresh, soft and a happy fragrance.it makes you feel free, light, happy, elegant and young. A really nice classy fragrance! But unfortunately it doesnt last at all

This is a great perfume! My dad got it for me as a gift im only 17 years old and i LOVE it ive had many people compliment me when i wear this even my teachers. Its great to wear in the day
