Antheia

This has got to be one of the most addicting openings to a fragrance if you are into sparkling citrus fizz. The mandarin is so juicy and invigorated by raspberry, a yuzu aldehyde and ginger lending it a fizzy quality that exudes the feeling of happiness. In the mid violet becomes the star of the show giving the impression of youthful innocence before orris and vanilla come in to add some smooth maturity and finally sandalwood along with Peter's signature white ambergris rounds it all out. A fantastic release and probably most universally likeable by your average person yet from Centauri.

I sampled this fragrance when it came out. I also sampled OM which is still not in the data base. I own Dendera but haven't sampled this house other offerings yet, I was lucky to sample Dendera since the samples from this brand were hard to come by. I own Dendera and love it. Antheia, is pretty and I have been considering adding it to my collection. I watch Peter's channel Fragranceview on Youtube once in a while when I started getting into perfume and I like his reviews. He is thoughtful about his reviews and very in depth. Antheia smells like it was inspired by Abel's Pink Iris. I know that is one of Peter's favorite perfumes from Abel and it is in his collection. Antheia is not a dupe for Pink Iris, which I own. Pink Iris has a fresh spicy accord from basil, and Sichuan Pepper. Antheia, starts off w/a sparkling yuzu that is quite fizzy. Then a happy violet, a watery lotus, and a beautiful powdery orris warmed by a slight ginger shows up in the heart. The base has an almost cattails in the swamp kind of smell but in a good way. Pink Iris is a bit more polished and a classic perfume, while Antheia is raw, has the smell of nature and is more niche in its execution. I think this is a very pretty perfume w/ a rawness that is unique.

I had a sample of this from Luckyscent and was so bewildered at the first sniff that I spilled the entire contents of the vial and dropped it on the floor. For all the lovely notes listed, it smells exactly like Inca Kola-- a bubblegummy, muddled fruit salad, lemon verbena, cream soda type of scent. It's not unpleasant, I just couldn't get over the association. That said, it's not an aggressively sweet scent. I ran my perfume-laden hand through my hair and got some of the spilled perfume out of the carpet with cotton wads. It wasn't the sugar bomb I feared it would be. Neither the room nor the wastebasket exuded any fragrance beyond a foot and a half away. I continued to smell like an Inca Kola advert whenever I turned my head or rearranged my hair, which I did not mind except for feeling thirsty for soda.

Heavy mandarin on the opening, followed by an orris ginger dry-down. Very feminine, unique, orangey. If you want to smell like a sophisticated orange creamsicle, this one is for you.

A clone of lipstick rose by FM which happens to be the inspiration of misia by Chanel as well It’s the lipstick iris theme with stronger rose than the rest of the scents Although not as good as the previous frags I mentioned but it was good enough to try I personally wasn’t impressed by it and the performance could’ve been better My biggest issue was it stained my clothes and in this industry it’s a disaster Yes a some branded products do stain clothes but this one was really bad it was clear to see I believe it’s a color additive to the scent since the other scents that I mentioned don’t have heavy colors same as this I don’t mean to be harsh to the owner/ perfumer but so far two out of his offerings weren’t any good from my perspective

This is not a clone of lipstick rose. LR by FM smells like the title. Antheia smells more multifaceted, and is not as linear. This smells rich, and like the notes in the note breakdown. It is slightly stronger in the sweet, raspberry sort of notes than what I was hoping for, but I'm still getting more because it's that good. I was really hoping for a sparkly orris benzoin creation with lotus, some violet sparkle powder thrown in, and some apricot/fruitiness etc to give it a lot of interest, which it did. I got all of that minus perhaps some sparkle, which it never promised anyway. Lots of facets, cohesion and richness. The orris and benzoin are very present. And even lotus is here. The only thing for me personally I wish for is a very slight tweak away from raspberry/syrup/whatever that thing is. 9/10

This smells more like powdery violets to me, I wanted it to be juicier. Through out the day I will get whiffs of the bubbly juices from yuzu and raspberries mixing with the floral notes but it's always overpowered by the powdery notes. This is a really pretty and unique fragrance though like I haven't really smelled anything like it.

οrange fizzy, juicy opening, like drinking sparkling water immediately after opening the bottle. It also reminds me of those orange-honey sore throat candies. Smells artificial and chemically sweet.
