Angel's Bread

The yeast note in this perfume is accurate it smells like sugared angel food cake with a tiny hint of gasoline in a very addictive way. This is how I wanted Stairway to Heaven to smell but Jul et Mad but unfortunately that one was just too much like cotton candy snow cone syrup. Full bottle worthy for sure. I'm in LOVE and I don't care who knows it! Editing to add that the longer this wears on the skin the more addictive it becomes. If I could make out with my own arm I would and I'm not exaggerating this is one of the best gourmands I've ever tried and that's been several hundred. It may not be for everyone but it's certainly for me. I'm supposed to be on a no buy, this will be the first one I purchase once that is up. I need to resist the temptation to dump the entire 2ml sample on myself today, this is one of those fragrances that you just wish you could take a bath in. Sillage is strong to me I'd say, I did maybe 1 spray between two wrists and it kinda sputtered out so it was really only a couple drops. That alone tells me this is probably a beast performer and the longevity is going strong it's been over 2 hours and it hasn't relented in the slightest. If anything the more time it radiates off of skin the stronger it seems to be. I'll try to report back on total wear time. I don't care if this lasts 12 hours or if it had only lasted 12 minutes though, this is worth every dollar it costs to me. I must not fiend for this I must show some composure and restraint. Maybe I should eat some cake to resist the temptation of this fragrance!

This is THE marshmallow perfume, period. I have tested What The Fluff and Delizia di Marshmallow (not an easy endeavor to fetch, since I am based in Europe), and was not that impressed. But this! This is the rounder, better, beast mode version of a mix of the two, with a slight Tihota background/echo and light bakery twist. Just so you know, the most famous baking powder brand in Italy has a vanillin smell and it is called "Pane degli Angeli", which literally translates to Angels' bread: this creation replicates that scent perfectly. It is definitely pricey, but worth it. I have sampled many perfumes by Cerchi nell'Acqua, but this is my absolute favourite. 10/10.

Angel’s Bread was an amazing find this year! The Facebook groups had me so excited, and I immediately knew I needed a full bottle after enjoying my decant. It is gorgeous, long-lasting vanilla marshmallow bready fragrance – like stepping into a heavenly bakery. It's beautiful on its own, and blends wonderfully with other scents, absolutely deliciously!

Lord help me I am OBSESSED. I need this to radiate out of my pores at all times. This is the most perfect perfume I’ve ever worn. It’s so delicious and fluffy and everything I’ve ever wanted in a vanilla scent. I need the og, I need the dupes, I need the dupes that aren’t really dupes. I need them all.

This fragrance is so simple, so addictive. The longer it sits the sweeter and richer it becomes. The powdered sugar and sweet yeast notes take me to another dimension. I find this scent to be most comforting. I’m enjoying my first bottle now and have a BUB for my BUB. I never want to be without this.

It’s magical. It’s gourmand, sweet, vanilla. Smells like vanilla sponge cake, with some marshmallows to it. Just need to macerate for a bit. Not a bit of regrets buying full bottle. I am so happy. I will buy it again as I can tell this bottle won’t last 😃

Angel's Bread smells like vanilla and powdered sugar. Very sweet and very comforting. There are similarities between this and Delizia di Marshmallow (the sugary sweetness) but the biggest difference to me is that Delizia just smells more like marshmallows. I also pick up on a soft, amber-like warmth in Angel's Bread as it dries down (not present in Delizia), which is surprisingly pleasant to my nose, but I'm wondering if I could achieve a similar effect by layering. Actually, the more I'm smelling it the more it's reminding me of Jovoy Fire at Will, especially in the dry down. Angel's Bread lasts for hours and leaves a nice scent trail but doesn't project strongly. Overall I like it and I'm enjoying my decant but not quite ready to buy a full bottle from overseas especially considering the high shipping costs.

I’ll admit, I didn’t need another bottle but Angel’s Bread earned its place in my collection. Office-appropriate? Absolutely. Layering potential? Exceptional. The composition itself is beautifully balanced, smooth, sweet and subtly doughy, reminiscent of a perfectly baked pastry with an elegant twist. It’s versatile and stylish, whether paired with formal attire or something more casual. Drydown is almost similar to Tihota, Bianco Latte or Vangilia - simply divine! I’m sticking with Cerchi Nell’Acqua for my gourmands. At the price point, Enrico Buccella is in a league of his own; nobody else gives that smooth and addictive vanilla drydown at a 44% concentration. Price doesn’t always equal quality and Cerchi proves that you don’t need a four‐figure bottle to get a world‐class gourmand experience.

I was excited to try this due to the hype and reviews. This is a nice, fluffy vanilla but I was expecting something unique. I was literally expecting THE BEST vanilla with a little something different, however it is literally just an airier version of what the fluff. Also quite similar to Sorce in dreams vanilla. I guess it just depends on which one is most accessible to you. I have the other two so this would be redundant in my collection.

I loved the sample more than the full sized bottle (My bank also charged an extra international transaction fee, on top of other fees). The dupes also smelled better than the full sized bottle (Heavenly Dream of Marshmallow Loaf The Dua Brand or Mrajia Cloud Bake). The full sized bottle is more yeast heavy on my skin. It is good, but.....(get the dupe)

This is nice, but no different from all of the other marshmallow scents (Delizia, WTF, etc.). Recommend if you can find a good price. It does last forever.

I don't have Delizia Marshmallow, but Angel's bread immediately reminds me of Tihota, maybe a tad sweeter?

This smells IDENTICAL to angel cake both in the bottle, and on skin. At first its almost mouth watering with how accurate it is, however it very quickly seemed to die down to angel cake served in a bar full of people smoking - it all just clashed and the sickly sweetness of it combined with the unexpected smoky heart notes meant I've ended up with a headache every time I've worn it. I want to like it more as it is the most spot on cake smell, I'm hoping like others have said that if I leave it for a while it'll die down to a more marshmallow type scent. It lasts for 10+ hours without reapplication and is noticed by people up to an arms length away.

Another perfume and social media overhyped. I get yeasty marshmallow. Gone after two hours. Nothing to write home about. Mine has sat for almost 2 weeks now I guess I’ll give it another two weeks and update this review if anything changes. ****EDIT:this has sat for two months now! I get pure fluffy marshmallow

As a marshmallow fragrance lover I fell for the hype. There’s nothing special about this fragrance to garner such a heavy price tag, but that’s the least of my issues! All I smell is sweet rubber tires that never dissipates.....it stays the entire wear unlike my other marshmallow fragrances. Instant declutter and sold!

I don’t smell yeast however I don’t smell much.. this fragrance was underwhelming and nonexistent to my nose. Not worth the hype or price.

This smells like Delizia with, well, a sort of ‘breadiness’ added to it... ┐( ́д` )┌ It’s not the most appealing to me. The yeast note is very strong, especially on my skin, and especially after it’s dried down as well. It’s kind of all I can smell once it’s dried down, although I do get a little bit of that sugar & vanilla. The sugar has a powdery-ness to it, kind of like icing sugar, which I do enjoy. I can appreciate the uniqueness of this fragrance! (*ᐢ ᴗ ᐢ*)👍 EDIT: Okay this has really grew on me... Originally the yeast/bread note was all I could smell, but now that my sample has been left to sit, all I’m getting is just a straight up powdered sugar & vanilla scent. Yes the yeast is still there, but it’s not as overbearing as it first was. It’s now just a small background note that adds a little nuance and depth to the fragrance. I actually like it a lot! To my nose, there is no yeast to be found in this lol. It smells like marshmallow (specifically that in Delizia di Marshmallow) with an entire bag of powdered sugar dumped on top. As it progresses further into the wear, it leans slightly more towards powdered sugar than marshmallow. If you’re not a fan of excessive amounts of sugar and sweetness in your fragrance, this likely won’t be for you. The performance on this is incredible and it projects beautifully. Do be aware that like Delizia di Marshmallow, it’ll leave powdery white stains behind on dark clothing. I’m guessing that’s due to the high concentration of ethyl maltol. This was a love at first sniff for me and I’m ridiculously excited for my bottle to arrive. I was able to get in on a group buy from Amyris because paying 60 something dollars just for shipping simply is not part of my ministry.

My atomizer keeps getting clogged and it turns white in the nozzle and on the atomizer itself. I was in a rush and wanted to wear it for the first time in about a year or so. I couldn't even spray it on and had to pick something else. I've still in yet to soak it in hot water. If you have a fb I would say keep the atomizer top off the nozzle and place it back on when needed. Cost too much for this to happen. Even my cheapies don't do this. Is it the ethyl maltol or alcohol used in the base? Something isn't right, anyone else? I'm decanting most of the juice anyway so no biggie, ig.

Angel's Bread is like Delizia di Marshmallow lite. If Delizia's has too much vanilla and is a little too thick and decadent for you, then Angel's Bread is the airier, muskier version. The reason I prefer Delizia even though the vanilla is just a bit too thick for me, like the vanilla in Tihota which I don't care for, is because something in the wearing experience brings to mind biting into a creamy white zephyr or a very thick marshmallow. I think they're about neck and neck, both great options for someone looking for a white frosting or marshmallow perfume.

Bought this and sold it due to the fact it left a stain on my clothes. It’s a nice scent but after letting it sit for a couple months the sugary yeast note in the dry down smelt a bit off to my nose it was almost sickly sweet and it just didn’t work for me in the end. There are much better marshmallow scents there that are more interesting than Angels bread. I’ll recommend Kyse perfumes Delizia Di marshmallow, What the Fluff by Aspiring Aromas and Vice of Vieve Marshmallow 2.0

So far, I've only smelled it on paper strip. However, first thing I thought of was vanilla extract. I can't be the only one who takes a whiff right of the bottle of vanilla extract when baking :P. Not sure it's worth the exorbitant price trying to get this product shipped to the US, first impression is that it isn't that special of a scent, but maybe a proper wear test will change my mind.

I got a decant of this while searching for gourmand fragrances. To me it doesn’t smell very bread/yeast-like but has a very prominent vanilla or marshmallow sweetness to it, with a slight smokiness in the dry down. The yeast note makes the fragrance very airy and not too overwhelming, and the longevity is really good compared to a lot of vanilla perfumes I’ve tested so far.

To me there is only one note: MARSHMELLOW Marshmellow on steriods A soft fluffy sweet marshmellow I thought lets wear it to work, it will be subtle but no, everybody chasing me asking what is this fluffynessss. This girl is projecting. I also own what the fluff and there is a similarity but this one has a little hint of the soft delicate vanilla of happy dust

Once I received a sample, and it was love at first sniff. The composition is very simple: vanilla, yeast and sugar. The scent reminds me of the aroma of a fluffy, freshly baked sweet bun with real vanilla. It’s a delicious, truly vanilla-driven gourmand. The longevity lasts all day, and the projection reaches about an arm’s length.

I absolutely adore this fragrance! It smells like icing sugar, and itll last on your skin until you wash! Don't be put off by the Yeast note, if anything, it just makes it a bit cakey as opposed to sugary! Can't wait to get a full bottle of this. If youre not into your gourmands, maybe step aside.

I get a sharp acetone note that immediately dissipates once the warmth of skin gets to work with the oils. From there, I smell soft amber, powdered sugar, and plastic baby doll sweetness. A crossover of Nemat Amber oil, and 1973 Sweet Fluff. I really like this!

This smells like a mixture of dialed up happy dust and what the fluff. Yummy, sweet marshmallow with added sweet nuances. I don’t smell bread or yeast. Its very pleasant to my nose, love wearing it for bed after shower.

I received a decant of this. Maybe it needs to sit a while? Because its very light and smells like nothing, with a small hint of vanilla. It actually smells 1 for 1 like my dentist office.

The vanilla in this is so sweet and beautiful! I do get a smoky note that bothers me so not sure if this will be a keeper for me. Will let it sit for a bit before deciding!

Yes it smells good. But is it worth all the hype and FOMO? Nah.
