Perfume Mist de Guava

I've never smelled the hair products, but this is yummy! I mostly get the tea and some guava. 😋

This is an incredibly unique scent that opens with a photorealistic, nostalgic guava note. It is highly reminiscent of Jumex Guava Nectar, but specifically like the last sip left at the bottom of a glass of ice—where the melting ice has watered down the initial heavy sweetness. It has a distinct, watery quality that is layered over a delicate violet. However, you should know that this leans much more toward an upscale hair care, shampoo, or skin care vibe than a true, complex fine fragrance. A few critical details to consider before buying: The Dry-Down & Performance: The dry-down arrives much faster than expected, shifting into a clean jasmine and soft caramel base. It has almost no projection and becomes an absolute skin scent after the first hour. To get any noticeable longevity, you must apply it very liberally to both clothes and hair. Not a Safe Blind Buy: This is not for everyone. You have to love violet, and you need to appreciate that the specific opening guava note carries a distinct Hispanic or Asian cultural familiarity that not everyone will immediately understand.

This smells exactly like the Ceremonia Guava Leave-In Conditioner, but this scent is soooooooo light. It has very little projection and longevity. You're the only one that's going to be able to smell it and maybe for the first 30 mins. Most B&BW mists perform 5x better than this. It definitely doesn't smell identical to Perfume de la Tierra (PDLT). PDLT is earthy and has a fresh spiciness, whereas this guava mist has a soft woody fruitiness. But don't buy this expecting a photorealistic fruity guava scent. I wasn't a fan of the glitter initially, but I don't mind it now. I really wanted to love this but I wish it was stronger. It is overpriced for a watered-down body mist. Too bad because the bottle is gorgeous. I hope they reformulate and come out with a stronger fragrance because the scent is lovely.

First off, this perfume is identical to Perfume de la Tierra. I d e n t i c a l. Don’t really know why they would put out the same fragrance twice basically. Anywho, it has shimmer in it which I think is very cool. I was going to keep this fragrance regardless of the fact that I already have PDLT. However, this perfume smells like fish after I sprayed it! I got so scared. I sprayed it and started getting a nasty fish odor. It smelled like the white floral trees outside in the springtime. I didn’t know what that stench was so I sprayed Guava on my forearm and omg it was the perfume!! It smelled like fish. It smelled like guava and fish lol. I immediately put it back in the box and will be returning asap. I hope I got a defective body spray, but be warned.

This feels like Perfume de La Tierra's glittery, underachieving twin sister. They smell almost identical? Except when I tried this out I found there wasn't much staying power. Tbh I put a spritz of De La Tierra in my hair from time to time and that lasts longer. I would say do that or just use their guava products if you want your hair to smell like this! Big fan of their scents but a bit perplexed at how weak this is.

This is so very light. All I’m getting is a slightly fruity skin scent. With a bit of sugar. Not blind buy safe by any means. Probably will resell it.

This is not sweet or even strong as I was expecting. Very light. Too light. And I get this weird scent in the dry down. I don’t get the similarity to PDLT, which is stronger and woodier and a strong similarity to Portofino ‘97 which is my favorite perfume right now. I’m glad I didn’t buy a full bottle of this. I just got the travel size. I was really hoping for a true guava scent but this disappoints.

This is absolutely foul. It smells like carrion. I'm usually not someone that returns perfumes, because I don't believe that preference is a sufficient enough reason to return a product. It's wasteful. But this is so incredibly awful, such a distasteful blend of ingredients and notes that I can't believe a company is selling this and expecting people to be okay with it. This is being returned to Sephora ASAP. This is the textbook definition of a scrubber. Thank goodness I sprayed it only in one spot and that I was able to remove it with olive oil.

looking at the comments/reddit would have discouraged me from buying this fragrance (found it at marshall’s for $19.99 without the cap) i think this a very nice clean/skin like fragrance. too me it just smells like an expensive body lotion or an expensive shower body product? the shimmer is nice too but on the skin it is a tad “sticky” to touch. i personally would not spray it in my hair for that reason but to layer with another beach-y, green, or crisp fragrance would be nice. i do get compliments when i wear this fragrance so that’s win in my book! this i would say is not a safe blind buy even though i blind bought it.

Literally their Perfume de la Tierra with added shimmer. It’s strong for an alcohol-free formula, almost as strong as their original fragrance but not as woodsy. It’s also sweeter and has no spice in the opening. There’s a slight variation but not nearly enough to market it as an entirely new fragrance, much less a guava one. I get a strong lemon and tea fragrance with powdery violet, it’s astringent. Personally, I’ll be layering this with the og, but don’t purchase it expecting a new fragrance.

Do not expect an overtly tart, juicy, fruity, mouthwatering guava. In the first few minutes there is an amaizing SLIGHT greenness/crispness/earthiness, but beyond the opening this is really an extremely light violet mist. I do love it and it IS addictive (although I can get a violet “baby perfume” in the “Hispanic” cosmetics section of the grocery store for $4) but the packaging is starkly misleading.

Wow. What an offensive smelling dry down. I immediately had to wash this off my hand. Do not expect a fruity summery experience with this one. Maybe dead rat or something like that describes it better. Perfume de la Tierra is amazing though. They went very wrong w this

Very pretty opening but does not last. This is a much safer version of perfume de la Tierra but they are very similar.
