Cerruti 1881 Summer Fragrance pour Homme

Dsquared he wood rocky mountain without pepper.also same like he wood.but cerruti has more sillage and longlivity IMHO.smells like cucumber. very good.i like it.

Absolutely gorgeous scent. Although the title has "Fraicheur D'eau" in it don't be mistaken to believe that it is a weaker cologne (as eau Fraiche's tend to be), I get good longevity with nice subtle sileage with this. The vetiver note here is the most dominant, but the nutmeg sweetens it enough to stop from seaming sour or too earthy. It is masculine and refreshing. I got a 100ml bottle for less than £20 delivered, an absolute steal in my opinion. Nice :)

Men, 1980'ies, very very strong wet wood, hardcore tobacco, mint, ginger. This is the most green perfume you can smell. A very normal smell from the 80'ies. I have a full spray bottle from 2003. It is something unique today. Quite the opposite of Versace Eros in a good way. This smells like how men used to smell. Nothing like the perfumes of the modern day. If you smoke Marlboro cigarettes, then buy this. It will suit you.

A very nice fruity and long lasting summer scent. Very like Image Harmony and Sander for Men. Nice sweet frag.

Smells very good, but very poor performance. Ok longevity, but close to the skin. Nop!

Finished the bottle today... yep, shity performance.

I tried this one today, and after a while while still smelling gently was trying to remember where did I smell this perfume before. And then all of sudden I recalled my sence of smell of perfumes that I use to owe in the past. And guess what, Cerruti smells exactly like Eau Sauvage ( original one from 70-90's ). The drydown is very simillar to Sauvage. The opening is more spicy and masculine at Cerruti, while citrusy at Sauvage. This is excellent perfume for a real man, no sweet vanilla or marine smell, this is pure fresh quality perfume very much Mediteranean style. Could be longer lasting, but it is gentle perfume, it's enough to smell it sometimes, like a whiff daily. A good one.

Love it. I've always loved it. By which I mean the Fraîcheur d'Eau limited edition with the wave on the front as shown in the Fragram Photo. This is not the same product as the 2004 summer special (in the all-peacock blue box). Consequently I've given up trying to work out to what extent, if any, the notes I smell relate to the notes listed here. On my skin, Fraîcheur d'Eau is airy, watery, with white flowers (jasmine?) dominating. It is possible that there's cypress there (maybe that's where some of the airiness comes from), but even if it is there, this is too well blended for me to be certain. Smells semi-tropical, though not fruity.
