I love this fragrance! I wrongly assumed it would be too masculine but my friend gave me a sample to try and I immediately bought a full bottle. I think the name needs changing as it is truly unisex in my opinion. The most gorgeous clean powdery Iris with lavender, vanilla and musk give it quite a cosy feel. I wear this after a bath for a real chill out fragrance. Ladies don't be put off by the name if you love a powdery Iris fragrance, get this one!

The most gorgeous take on the OG. In fact I think this out does the OG Dior Homme Intense. This is a little brighter straight off the bat but my god this has got some incredible depth. Beautiful lipstick powdery iris. This truly is unisex so I find the name a bit confusing. I know they've probably gone down the path of a similar name to the original scent but honestly this is so unisex it's crazy. One of my favourite scents in my whole collection 🙌

This is such a gorgeous, comforting, nuzzly scent. Powdery iris, musk, woods and a beautiful calming lavender which isn't overpowering. I also find this very unisex. I only have a sample but I will definitely buy a full bottle.

inspired by Dior Homme Intense, this is such a beautiful take on that DNA with amped up performance! Great sillage and longevity which i feel the OG lacks and with more depth in the scent! 10/10

I have this and really like it , it's brighter than the OG and to be honest is worth picking up. CEVI as a brand will hopefully be doing big things this year!

I was gifted this bottle of Cevi Homme Absolu quite recently by my partner who saw it on special offer in a discounter shop and liked it on a tester strip. Cevi are not a brand I knew much about but are an Emirati house that produce fragrances in a European style with pleasantly understated branding. Some of the reviews suggest this is a dupe of Dior Homme Intense but honestly, I own DHI and it's arguably superior dupe Obsidian by Rayhaan and I think this is its own thing. I would class CHA as a sweet, unisex imagining across a familiar DNA to scents we have seen before that have lavender and iris over a woody base. But I wouldn't say it is a dupe in the same way that not everything with raspberry, leather and oud in is a dupe of Ombre Nomade. If we determine a dupe to be a cash grab copy clone of an existing fragrance with no originality then that is not what this is. The familiar lavender and iris theme is very much in evidence but CHA is a more powdery fragrance with a delicious bright citrus in the head and a pear note in the body that we do not really see in the other two mentioned fragrances. The body has no leather in it or sandalwood but a nutty, slightly biscuity sweet earthiness to it that I cannot readily identify. I'd say CHA is a much more unisex fragrance than DHI because there is a lovely almost marshmallow texture to the musky base. It is almost gourmand in the way it wears. CHA lasts a lot longer on my skin than DHI does, with an even longer performance than Obsidian. My partner gave me a nice compliment about it when I wore it last night and she almost never does that (frag fatigue is a thing when your other half is obsessed with them) so it is fair to say she thinks it smells great. I really like this one and will be checking out more from the Cevi line when I can. Three Word Summary - Refined Iris Sophistication Layering suggestion - This would be a wonderful base layer for Pour Un Homme De Caron I think. You know I love layering that one. Outfit Suggestion - It is funny because CHA is an easier wear than DHI and whilst it matches its sophistication, it does lend itself to wearing casually in a way DHI does not. You can absolutely wear this with shorts and a t-shirt or rugby top. Scent - 8/10 Sillage - 8/10 Drydown - 8/10 Bottle/packaging - 7/10 Performance - 9/10 40/50

My first fresh iris with a BITE! I like it as unisex but I can see why it’s listed as male. The powdery notes are there but are not sweet! I like this a lot!
