Love this stuff more animalic in the opening than Halfeti leather, a really good interpretation of a classic fragrance

This was given to me by a store online with another as a sample, this and the white one called something Oud same make. The white one smells exactly 1:1 of blue Oud by Ibrahim Al Qurayshi, it's inky Oud. That's it. Smell some ink, add some Oud and that's the scent (yes the exact the same, not just 90-95% ball park) no like the same juice, the only difference between that and Ibrahim Al Qurayshi or ibraq is the projection which pulses at an arms length maybe even longer. Why would someone want to smell like that? It's better imo than Hindi Oud and decent to layer with. This white is more intimate skin scent. Few inches, but that's off only 1-2 sprays. Some say it's from the DNA of LV ombre nomade. As LV Ombre nomade is my favourite scent, I can tell... It doesn't, even the Oud is not the same. Closest I've heard is royal night wood collection, closest I've smelt in decant is the shadow extrait by french avenue however has no projection one that's on its way insha'Allah that smells similar, powerful but more inspired is body oud by Abdul samad Al Qurayshi (it's a top tier perfume in the Arab world, apparently that family supply's the oils and perfumes for the kabab in Mekkah 🕋 which everyone says smells heavenly when they return from pilgrimage).. how did we get here? I digressed.. ADHD kicking In.. anyways yes so First of good damn colour they chose for this perfume, you smell it and you instantly think of like a cherry drop which is red hard boiled sweet, almost like a cough syrup style smell. I haven't smelt this note in a perfume surprising, I guess it's the cypriol note. It was in something else I read recently that I was actually interested in (hadn't smelt and saw someone say it was a make or break type of note). It's medicinal, addictive, I keep smelling it but tbh it's starting to make me feel sick. It's extremely strong and over powering. I only sprayed it once but out of the 5 perfumes I tried which just came in, a few were decants this is the one that keeps hitting me. I don't think I'd pick up a bottle myself or wear it again. It's not bad or anything but it's abit cloying for me and I've noticed even if something is nice doesn't mean I'll wear it or even want it. I give alot of my perfumes away to me family. I literally just purchased Rey by Maison asrar, it's a dupe of YSL myself. I remember liking that in store, it was nice. Smells abit young for me, going to m son now. I'd say get a sample or smell that note first, not blind buy safe at all.
