Chic et Bohème

If you like feminine powder and sweet white flowers, like Narcisso Rodriguez, Salvatore Ferragamo, Elie Saab, you will definitely like this one. Maximum femininity, very likable, would definitely pass for a higher price mass-market. Very obvious sweet orange blossom and powdery jasmine, with a bit of citrus, vanilla and ylang-ylang. Can`t smell much amber, it`s far from even noticeable. I also smell aldehydic notes, like some hand-made artisan floral soap bar whiff. Feminine, happy, sunny, sexy, floral, sweet. Great perfume.

I’ve been searching for the “perfect” white floral scent for a long time. I’m pretty sure I’ll never find it, but this is definitely one of the best I’ve found so far. Performance is poor but I don’t know that any white floral citrus scents last. It’s just the nature of the profile. This is absolutely beautiful. It’s a very common profile, but a superb version of it. Testing side by side with Atelier Bloem William, I can’t pick a favorite.

Green tea with jasmine no sugar added:) On my skin it’s very green, refreshing, clean, not sweet at all. White flowers are very elegant and natural smells. For hot summer days it’s a wonderful “cocktail” that I just adore. It stays on my skin 12+h and from my hair I can smell it 24+ hours, it’s incredible. I can’t say that it sounds like real niche, or smth extraordinary. But the quality is great.

I have no idea what Bohemian is supposed to smell like, but on me, this opens with a beautiful burst of ylang-ylang laced orange blossoms. It instantly feels uplifting and fresh, the way the aroma of summer fruits make me feel. There's also a hint of greenery in this, which lends to the whole summery feel to this. An hour and a half later, an unmistakable jasmine comes up. It sneaks up little by little, then suddenly, it's sauntering all over the stage. This doesn't last too long, however, and transitions into a slightly more fruity and sweet stage after 30 minutes. Chic et Boheme ends on a light, sweet note with a hint of green and florals. I pick up a mild warm feeling and the presence of ylangylang even at the end, but overall, it maintains the lighthearted happiness throughout. In a way, it still manages to be a little somber, and not be completely carefree in its joy. I still found this incredibly pleasant and uplifting though. Sillage was pretty good, I'd say at about arm's length with a bit more for the first half, and sat quite close to the skin from the 3rd hour onwards. In total, it lasted about 5 hours on me.

A very pleasant, mindful fragrance. Some might even say demure. Very balanced, harmonic and light. Nothing overpowers or dominates the fragrance. This makes the fragrance very peaceful. A safe blind buy, very inoffensive and not controversial. A woman or girl would wear this. She is carefree and innocent, she loves nature. She wears white lace dresses in parks where she picks flowers. She reads there, without being disturbed. She is at peace with the world and herself.

Very flowery, I would probably be able to stomach this only in Spring (when flowers bloom so you feel wearing flowers you`re attuned to spring in a fitting way). Haven`t worn this enough to form a well-rounded opinion however excited to try on one of the sunny and warm spring days in near future eve though white flowers are definitely not my comfort zone.

Prominent jasmine in opening is mixed with neroli and orange blossom in drydown. It’s soapy and pungent, yet somehow it just works. Neroli is softened by the jasmine, yet it shines in the drydown. One of the most beautiful neroli fragrances I’ve smelled. Mature and vintage. I like it.

This is a great white floral, not too strong, just perfect. A great composition of orange blossom and ylang-ylang, with a hint of vanilla and amber. Chic, for sure. Elegant white floral suitable for age time, season and age.

FIRST IMPRESSION smells VERY generic perfumery, kinda reminds me of the general scent of niche perfumes boutique. it is clean and a tad sweet, kinda smelling like a floor cleaner liquid in a generic scent. it is a little warm sweet, like an orange tree, very inoffensive, light enough to not be annoying. it is uplifting but there's just a trace of a sharp tail in the scent giving an unwanted 'clean-bathroom-tiles' kick, which i dont like. it is leaning just a bit feminine due to how much white florals are dominant imo. it has a sharpness reminiscent of spicy toothpaste. FEW HOURS LATER... now it is much more subtle, warm and balanced. giving more room to the quiet sweetness of it as the florals left, it is much more unisex now. overall very inoffensive, but not interesting at all to me. im not gravitated towards such scent, but i can appreciate its pleasantness. 40/100

I have to admit, I'm really glad I'm not a big fan of this one because the name feels so ... pat. And it could be a bit embarrassing sitting with my other perfumes. I do love jasmine, but something about this melange doesn't work for me. It's quite deep and brooding, in my opinion, which is definitely interesting, just not my particular taste.

Opening is very smooth and sweet. Mostly ylang-ylang with some lovely orange flower note. Plum is noticeable somewhere in the middle, but it's not too strong and doesn't last too long. I detect a lot of patchouli, the kind of patchouli you get in Flowerbomb. Sweet and spicy, like syrupy black tea. It lasts for a while and then sadly goes away. Dry down is musky on me - which I wasn't expecting. That muskiness lasts forever, which makes it unbearable as I'm not a fan of musk. Overall, a pass for me.

Very interesting! Beings with an oily neroli covered by sweet plums and vanilla jasmines drops on an orange ylang ylang amber & patchouli mix while those vanilla jasmines drops are too worm that it melts the patchouli leaves and the orange peeling leaving a slight burn smoke that is resembled by the amber and ylan ylang mix. Quite addictive, and has the stamp of Chabaud. This house is quite interesting, i never thought that they would smell this quality and never thought that i would smell such a balanced blend as their creation! very much into sniffing the rest of the line.

I smelled this at a friend's house and thought it was a dupe for poeme. Im in shock at the similarity 🤯 Found out it wasn't and very expensive. I loved it.

Orange blossom, ylang ylang and vanilla. Soft and white/yellow floral. Unisex. Similar to Eau de Givenchy.
