Eau Ambrée

fresh lemon and iris with a soft suede. Sometimes this smells slightly ambery on me and sometimes I just get a cool lemon and iris. Quite guerlain-like to me. One of my easy reach fragrances. I wear this a lot, it feels calming, clean and elegant and just a little sparkly and pretty.

My first powdery iris scent that I love! Yayy for me! Iris is incredibly difficult and hard to enjoy note for me and yet here it`s so subtle, so light and pretty. I`m proud of myself of growing up to be able to have a first love for iris:D.

Eau ambree smells like something old from the attic of an old house. But in a good, quite interesting way. This scent is extremely powdery and very strong. If it was a bit sweeter it would be Prada's Candy. :)

I really like this fragrance. It smells vintage and elegant, fresh light but warm at the same time. Perfect for everyday wear.

Opening is strong - a very vintage smell with a leading note of fresh lemons. Then it quickly settles down into something very soapy (neroli?). Ending is leathery. Not a fan.

Eau Ambree opens zesty and lemony. It's quite light and tasty, albeit rather soft. It quickly gains a kind of creaminess to it, which reminds me of the kind of texture body lotions have. The base notes come up very early on though, so a very typical amber peeks through in about 15 minutes? More or less. The iris and rose only plays around on the sidelines, which I found slightly disappointing. After that quick development, it's character doesn't change much anymore. It's a swirl of mildly spicy benzoic notes which manages to retain a light, airy freshness, but also a warm, smoky vibe. It does end with a sweeter, more floral note, though still highly benzoic. I suppose I wasn't terribly impressed by this. It comes off as a typical amber fume with nothing much to offer, save for a calming freshness that is most prominent at the very beginning and lasts in soft touches throughout. This was a very soft and silent perfume with not much sillage, and only lasted 3 hours on me.

I am with ScarlettX here. It absolutely smells like Prada but a strange combination between Amber and Infusion D'Iris. It starts like Prada Amber and progresses into Infusion d'Iris. All in all it is a nice iris perfume with a hint of amber.
