Chaka

This is Mother Earth in a bottle. This is black witch doctor in a bottle! This is so earthy it's invigorating! Even though Chaka Khan is from Chicago, Illinois, I get a metaphysical shop in New Orleans, Louisiana. The ylang-ylang and the patchouli give Chaka "night flower blooming in the soil" vibes. The cinnamon just highlights the ylang ylang to give it dimension and to make it slightly sweet. I love it! I'm familiar with all the notes presented, so I assumed I knew how this fragrance would turn out, but this has a DNA of its own. It's unique and definitely not, not a beginners perfume. Chaka is more musky than it is powdery, and it last about 5 hours on me. This is musky and earthy enough for a man. Can't wait to see how this performs on warm summer/autumn nights. You don't have to worry about this being an "old lady" perfume because its not. I'd say it's just for mature noses, with experience with different scents. I think this may be my new signature, I'm going to wear this, order a couple backup bottles..

Sexy, I love it, great compliments, I layer it and sometimes without, but I’ve had decades of beautiful compliments and questions. My fragrances to many are secrets in how I smell so clean, sexy, pretty, and amazing. Key thing is I shower everyday and stay clean from head to toe, breath and all. Many do not do This and do not understand our body chemistry is different, many do not shower or bathe daily and at night, nor brush their hair teeth, many smoke that skunk chemically made weed, drugs as a whole and drink liquor, while thinking they smell amazing. Chaka did a fantastic job, this is really nice for all ages who know about luxury and do not describe elegant legendary fragrances as “old lady”. They better hope their grandmothers smelled beautiful and that they smell just as beautiful if they reach her age or older. Grow up

No reviews, what?! I can't wait until mine comes, hopefully I'll be able to tell you something good! The EdP is lacking in performance, it's probably much better in the set with the parfum you can buy. I tried to be cheap and paid the price 🤣 Smells good, nothing groundbreaking. A lot of patchouli and vanilla with some spice. OBVIOUSLY the bottle is TOO FUN Edit: I ended up giving this to a friend who is the lead singer for a bluesy, hippie, rock band and this totally fits her personality. Smells great on her, the patchouli & amber is sexy. She reportedly gets lots of compliments, and no complaints about performance, so take that as you will!

A beautiful floral earthy sweet perfume. It’s unisex enough that either a woman or man like myself could wear. It is NOT old lady, it is for those who appreciate a more complex fragrance though. Around 6ish hours of longevity on skin.

I proximity-bought this fragrance because I love Chaka LOL The yellow florals and patchouli makes it smell like 1989 Fendi to me. I probably won't wear this, but I'll keep it because her name is on it. <3

It's very Chaka and as JenSmellsSoGood! mentioned, also very much Black Orchid. For me it's like a creamier, lighter take on the TF idea with a little pink pepper spritz on the top. I believe I saw in a Miki Howard interview her mention loving to discuss fragrances like Tom Ford with her friend Chaka. The inspiration is there, and I love it. Chaka Fan for life! Glad I can stand by this!

Chaka Khan is one of my idols so when I heard she had a fragrance I had to get it. This smells ALOT like TF Black Orchid & Fendi Furiosa, very patchouli/herbal w a strong, spicy vanilla blast. Absolutely perfect on a dressed up fall evening. The bottle is so much fun too! I would absolutely repurchase this.

Smells like stronger version of Bond 9 New York Nights!!! I love this perfume!
