In the opening, a very light and uplifting oud. As it dries down, it gets sort of spicy and it ends up smelling a lot like carrots. Freshly sliced carrots. Anyone else? Interesting but I'm not crazy about it

This begins as an intriguing hygienic patchouli and soft guaiac in stereo, with a cool, wet and rooty current running through it. I can't say that it disagrees with me in the first ten minutes or so, but there is a marine aromachem here that sort of chills me, especially as it contrasts with the cashmeran. I am reminded of the smell of some sort of freshly deserted community in a post-apocalyptic time where there is evidence of life having been there, but what's left is the smell of hope shattered. Crazy, right? Again, I do not want to smell like this—It's not nearly as "cozy" as the brief suggests. It is unsettling, watching a Cronenberg film while high on cannabis.
