Vanilla Matrimony Intense

The scent profile is absolutely a gourmand's dream. Intense buttery vanilla cake, sprinkled with sugar and laced with Tonka. The lasting power is not "beast mode", and the silliage is about a 6 foot radius that lasts an hour or so. But then, it is arms length and very sensual. One would have to be 10 sprays in for it to be very noticeable and for something with "intense" in the name, I was expecting just that. Is it worth 200$ a bottle for 50ml? I don't think so, if it were 100ml, then yes. Did I already buy a bottle? Also yes😆😆🤷😆😆 I like indult's Tihota more and Gurlain spirituse double vanille the most, but I will more than likely be wearing them all together ❤️

I have this and as much as I enjoy it...this is definitely overpriced. I do use it sparingly due to this as well, but let's get to the review. Vanilla Matrimony Intense starts out with a sharp amber/resin and vanilla absolute which takes about 5 minutes to dry down. After it dries, it smells like vanilla cookies. No cake vibes. The sillage is arm's length. I didn't need to bring it up to my nose to smell it; it was somewhat strong however I felt it lacked in longevity. After about 4 hrs, I couldn't really smell it. As far as dupes, on first sniff it reminded me of Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere. I even compared them side by side and considered them to be sisters. However then I got my hands on Lattafa Eclair & that was an even closer match.

Notches above the original DNA but still keeps it in tact. Not as buttery cakey as the orignal which I don't like as much but layered with something to tone it down before i got the intense version was definitely the move. Everything you love about the oringal amped up to 1000x. I got it on a slight sale so it was definitely worth the wait.
