1957 Extrait de Parfum

WOW. Truly stunning. While I love and own the 1957 EDP—it’s also not my favorite of the Exclusifs I own. The 1957 Extrait, however, is my favorite of all the new Extraits. It’s more cedar and vetiver-forward (and a touch peppery in a cedar/vetiver way) than the EDP version and also less soapy & musky, which is a direction that really exceeded my expectations. It’s so crystal clear, clean, crisp, and elevated feeling. It feels crystalline. Like I have ascended. This Extrait is so lovely—and it really surprised me. I didn’t anticipate falling in love with this one the way I did.

It’s only day one of this Purchase so I cannot rate longevity but I so happy they now have purse sprays of my favorite Extraits. The case and atomizer are pure class. 1957 Extrait (brand new) is just as lovely as the EDP. Extrait for my pulse points and EDP for my clothing. Next, I am Hoping for shower gels of the Les Exclusifs. One can hope. It only took them years to listen to my Extrait travel sprayer

This is so far favourite of all the Chanel extraits that I have the pleasure to own! And I wholeheartedly agree with peachy! It’s much more cedar en vetiver here as in the EDP. But got me really in the opening of Woody clean Iris root! It’s so beautifully blended- you can call it pure class! In the end the sandalwood is blending in smoothly .. it’s like pure flowery woody vegetation paradise to me🔥🌺
