Chance Eau Fraiche Eau de Parfum

This is exactly what Chanel Allure Homme Sport Superlegerra could have been. Instead Olivier gave the boys a a dry iso e super hamster cage for the beach... Chance Eau Fraîche EDP opens with an immediate burst of sparkling citrus and freshness, but unlike many citrus fragrances it never feels sharp, acidic, or fleeting. The citrus isn't the star. The light is. Everything feels illuminated. There is a fizzy, almost effervescent quality that makes the fragrance feel alive. It has movement. It bounces off the skin rather than sitting on it. As it develops, soft florals and clean woods begin to emerge. Chanel's signature polish is everywhere. The fragrance never becomes loud, syrupy, aquatic, or synthetic. Instead it remains balanced and incredibly easy to wear. The drydown is where the magic happens. Many fresh fragrances eventually become generic woods and musk. Chance Eau Fraîche EDP remains distinctly Chanel. The freshness settles into a clean woody base that feels elegant rather than sporty and refined rather than casual. Performance Performance is interesting. This is not a fragrance that constantly announces itself to the wearer. In fact, one of my biggest frustrations was thinking it disappeared. Then I realized something. It doesn't disappear. It drifts. Chance Eau Fraîche is the type of fragrance that vanishes from your awareness until a breeze catches it or you move your shirt and suddenly: "Wow, that smells incredible." Some fragrances demand attention. Chance earns it. What surprised me most was how naturally it fits alongside Bleu de Chanel. Not because they smell identical. Because they share a philosophy. Both fragrances have that unmistakable Chanel cleanliness. A polished freshness that feels expensive without trying to be flashy. Bleu de Chanel Parfum is denser, darker, more serious. Chance Eau Fraîche is lighter, brighter, and more optimistic. One feels like confidence. The other feels like happiness. More than anything, it reminds me of what I loved about Allure Homme Sport EDT years ago. Not the scent. The feeling. That carefree, easygoing, enjoyable experience where wearing fragrance stops feeling like a hobby and starts feeling like fun again. Chance Eau Fraîche Eau de Parfum taught me something important. A great fragrance doesn't have to be the most powerful, the most unique, or the most complex. Sometimes it just has to make you smile. This fragrance consistently survived blind tests, comparisons, and endless overthinking. Every time I tried to find a reason to rank something above it, I ended up reaching for it again. That says more than any note breakdown ever could. Yes I am a male and I wear this almost daily now. This is truly a scent that would smell great on just about anyone, anywhere, anytime.

If you love Prada Iris but want something more feminine (yet still a tad bit masculine) and slightly different, this is an amazing option. I met this scent way back in 2020, only days before Covid changed our lives forever, when a client I was working with at the time, came to our country for the first time ever. While waiting to take the tram in the cold February weather together, a wind blew and carried her perfume to me and right then and there I was mesmerized by the scent. I see this Eau de Parfume version was launched very recently, and after that day, but I had later asked what she was wearing and she told me it was the EDT of this. It's been more than 5 years since that day but I always remembered this scent fondly and when I was recently looking for a new, fresh and daily scent that I'd truly enjoy wearing and pick carefully instead of grabbing something new just to have it, this one came to my mind. I went to a Sephora, tried it on, and right after the initial spray's dry down, immediately knew I was going to get myself a full bottle. Went back yesterday and purchased a 50ml size and it's now standing on my drawer, with my other more dramatic recent purchase, Van Cleef's Moonlight Patchouli, which is more suitable for night, when this is perfect for day. For me the wear is not that great. In around 2 hours I only find a very faint smell is lingering on my skin. Maybe because I personally find silver a bit tacky, I don't like the very chromatic silver details of the bottle that pleasing to look at either. But the smell is definitely amazing for those who want to smell like "a gushing waterfall, passing through the greenest grounds, with bunches of beautiful white flowers, sprinkled into the view". Such a pleasing, even "refreshing" scene to envision whenever you get to smell this beauty. The Eau Fraiche name is spot on. This became my first ever Chanel fragrance as I personally never feel drawn to the brand nor to their fragrances. A very pleased purchase and I'm looking forward to making beautiful memories wearing this, combining it with "fresh as a daisy" vibe, feminine but comfortable outfits.

I bought it within the hour of trying it on my skin.......... This is SO gorgeous, it has that sexy, vaguely woody and earthy base on paper (for me personally those notes come out first) with a strong Chance EDP DNA. On skin, at first spray, there’s a burst of citrus which quickly melts into waxy, fatty aldehydes. If you’re not an aldehyde lover (I absolutely am), you might not like this fragrance, especially since the rest of Chance tends to be patchouli, pepper, plus varying amounts of sweetened fruits across the flankers. Chance EDP - the pepper in the beginning gives me headaches some days, but I absolutely LOVE the patchouli and it dries down SO sexy and musky on skin Chance EDT - I prefer it at first spray to the Chance EDP - fresher and less cloying, but the dry down is disappointing and turns flat. There’s no sexy musky patchouli and the pineapple doesn’t stay. Eau Tendre is not for me - too sweet. The EDT is way too girly and sweet for me, the EDP is nice on paper but still a little too feminine for me (I’m female but it’s somehow a little too girly) Eau Vive - didn’t stand out for some reason Eau Fraiche EDT - I must confess I didn’t try this on skin, only from the scent sample in the store, but the EDT smells a little crisper and more “freshie-type” perfume. I would suggest to macerate the new bottles a little bit. In the store, absolutely killer longevity and projection both on skin and paper - I could smell it walking around a busy, heavily fragranced shopping centre. My new bottle smells the same, but has less projection and only lasts about 4 to 5 hours.

For this EDP version released for the first time in 2023 (not the previous releases), I'm surprised no one is reporting they get vetiver. On clothes and skin after wearing this a few times each year, It's Vetiver, lime, and an olibanum backbone instead of teak. For me at least, teak has that almost peppery cedar, but ultimately is smooth and warm. Instead of smooth and warm this EDP of Eau Fraiche is nearly a resinous type of wood (Guaiac?) or a silky hint of incense. Also, lets talk about the jasmine lol If you take away the citrus and wood. . . are you *actually* getting any floral? I feel it's the combination of those very things combined with that Chanel DNA/(musk?) that makes it seem like there might be a white floral, and since they are saying there is jasmine, then sure let's call it jasmine. But if you're looking for a floral or a jasmine scent, this isn't it. The strength of this scent is it's versatility. It's perfect for an interview, but would be stunning on a wedding day. How can those two things be true at the same time!? As someone on a vetiver kick for the last 3 years, I always come back to this on a hot day. I can't believe I'm going to buy a full bottle, especially after my first two wearings of this resulting in a a somewhat easy reach freshie, dime a dozen attitude about it. But the smell on clothes the next day and overall longevity for a citrus vetiver fragrance is WAY better than my Prada Infusions, Acqua di Parma, Encre Noir, etc etc. Honestly, I might try the lotion or body cream too.

I knew I had to skin test this EDP. It sounded unique. It also sounded a little complicated. I love my EDT of Eau Fraiche. I call it my perfect Florida "Summer" scent. And it is. It is calming to me and gathers compliments everywhere I go. So this was a must try. When I first tested this EDP ay my local Dilliards Chanel counter I liked the pompous Citron with the Wood and Aldehydes but I was not sure it was a love. Or if I had to have it. I kept on shopping letting it develop. I was trying on clothes and kept smelling a gorgeous soapy, woody Jasmine. It reminded of something. I could not place it. Then it hit me. L'Occitane...the shop. Yes indeed. That was it. This scent is very French. Very refined. But more reminscent of the South of France. Where the original Bouillabaisse comes from. Where Crudite is a normal day long snack. Where the sky is bright blue and the aqua ocean water twinkles as the Sun hits it as it moves about. And where Cote du Rhone Rose is the drink of choice for its refreshment. I went back to the Chanel counter and bought the big bottle. I love it. It is a little masculine but on my skin as it develops I do get some moderate Jasmine too. I did layer it with my Caswell Massey Jasmine to give it a bit more of a floral kick and that was wonderful. Definitely skin test. And let it develop of course.

This is the first and so far only perfume I’ve ever had that truly lasts and is so strong but so sexy without being spicy or oriental at all that I can constantly smell it on me and it’s crazy. This to me smells like I have this romantic shy guy who is crazy in love with me, who I have a huge crush on as well and after a night out with all of our friends in Paris we start walking to our places together and it starts raining. It’s a summer night and since we’re closer to his apartment, that’s where we go and we’re both soaked, our hair damp and dripping and he gives you a tshirt of his to wear and you put it on and start walking closer to him thanking him for it. He hasn’t changed his clothes and both of your hairs are still wet. And there is only candle light in the apartment and he too starts slowly walking closer to you and then there’s silence. The silence right before the kiss and you guys are super close to each other. And that split second of waiting just before the kiss is what this perfume smells like. It’s like smelling the warm breath and damp warm skin of someone you love but have never touched yet. The smell of his tshirt and him on you. Surprisingly this smells like a men’s scent to me that rubbed off on you, on a woman. And that exactly is why it feels so sensual to me. It feels like a memory.

Little review from a man's perspective: This is SPRING. It's how spring smells in my memories and in my imagination. This brings me so much joy and a sense of peace that it's hard to describe. Lovely citron, perfect non indolic jasmine, cozy not too heavy drydown. More spring than summer and more day than night. I gifted this to my gf, she loves it just like I love it on her, anytime anywhere! Longevity is very good, projection is ok, it's not loud but I feel that it matches perfectly the vibe of the fragrance. Personally I prefer EDP over EDT, which is also amazing, credit where credit is due (Jacques Polge). To me this is can be considered unisex. As a man I'd only use it in spring, might come off too floral for the summer. If Chanel labelled and marketed this towards a male audience quite a few guys would fall head over heels for this, replicating a OG Dior Homme effect if you will but with jasmine instead of iris (they could release a more masculine version of this actually...) It doesn't come cheap but the price is good for the quality in my opinion. Thank you Mr. Olivier Polge, once again.

On its own, it's okay. Smells quite generic. The reason I love it though is because it sits so well on my skin. On my clothes, the air, or a sample paper, it smells quite flat. Like Bleu de Chanel. So much so when next to someone wearing Bleu de Chanel, I couldn't tell if it was his aftershave or the opening of Chance on my clothes or hair. I've had one or two people ask if I was wearing 'cologne'. I didn't really see it as such masculine but perhaps unisex on its own. Only reason it smells like aftershave is because without sitting on skin, it has the flat opening smell of Bleu de Chanel. But it's not bad. However, the way it aerates from my skin makes it smell sweet and the aldehydes really stand out. So I do love it on my skin, but that's about it. In my head, it smells a little bit melon-y on my skin. Guess you could say melon-y on the melanin. It's a good 'everyday' fragrance that you won't feel guilty about using up. Bottle- The atomiser makes a farting squeaky noise that's quite irritating.

Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche EDP is a very easy, breezy type of scent. Not that it smells identical to Mandarin Basilic or Eau Givree but it’s in the same vein. A very fresh, citrusy, clean, soapy, woody, innocent and inoffensive type of scent. Perfectly suited for wearing it in 40 Celsius degrees and above. It smells natural and realistic but understated. Luckily, I don’t get aldehydes in here. Just citron, jasmine and teak wood. Dare I say, it’s a more feminine version of Terre d’Hermes Eau Givree. Which I personally find to be unisex. Same notes combined and same execution. Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche EDP is somewhere in the middle the two scents mentioned above. Mandarin Basilic is sweeter and a more complex citrus and Eau Givree is a tad spicier. It’s a DNA that I personally love but it’s overpriced. Chanel prices for this so called EDP is too high because it lacks performance, not intense enough like an true EDP should be for nearly 170€. But it’s Chanel, so we are paying for the brand’s name...

This was my first grown-up perfume that my mom let me choose at the Macy's counter after my freshman year of college. I had no language or knowledge about fragrance at that time, but it captured me like nothing else has. It became my signature scent through my twenties - wood and the memory of citrus lingered on my jacket and "going out" clothes. I finished the bottle but had no money to get another. Fast forward to 2023 and I start diving into fragrance in a new way. I wanted to revisit that first scent love but - "did it change?" I thought, "or have my tastes changed and I don't love it anymore?" - the mystique, the sparkle, the "I feel like a woman in a bar having a drink with someone sexy," feeling was gone. I learned that it was, in fact, reformulated that same year. The grief of losing that profound callback to my early 20's. Queue the Nelly Furtado deep cuts classic, "All Good Things (come to an end)."

All these reviews professing "it smells masculine" - no it doesn't. It just doesn't smell like a dessert. I don't know what happened in the last five years to redefine femininity as cupcake-lollipop-pastry-marshmallows but I don't like it. Please bring back women smelling like real perfume rather than Sabrina Carpenter's latest sugar excretion. In describing Chance Eau Fraiche, many words come to my mind: Sparkling. Crisp. Refined. Balanced. Luminous. Elegant. But masculine? No. It won't appeal to the "OMG sooooo yummy xx lol 😍😍" crowd* but I can fully imagine Coco herself wearing this if she were a young woman today. I'd choose this every time without question over any of the nauseatingly sweet sugar bombs drowning today's market. *I think this would be better received if it were marketed towards the 30+ millennial demographic.

I feel very lucky, I just tried Chance Eau Fraiche Eau de Parfum!!, well, for start it's something magical, very very Chanel, from my point of view it has a slight touch citric of course (same as the edt) , but later it doesn't work bitter, it goes more floral. Is said that it is more woody, but on me it is creamy sensual, it maintains edt dna always, majestic jasmine with a slide of kind orange and a little warm amber... I like it way better, updated and with more personality! Long-lasting and notorious, while the first one remained me more “fresh morning and sporty", now it is more daring and assertive, great edition!

This EDP is just what I was waiting for! This is stronger than the EDT but still has the "eau fraiche" smell that makes it decidedly Chanel and most certainly Chance Eau Fraiche. It's delicious and strong and it kind of "pops" with scent. It lasts a good six hours, sillage is beyond arm's length when first sprayed but settles into a comfortable scent bubble that I could smell for hours. Very similar to the EDT only it lasts longer and smells as if it's on steroids, but the scent's the same or so close I couldn't tell the difference. I'm very glad Chanel finally came out with the EDP.

I was in a long search for my new favorite perfume. In the past I liked the heavy- headache inducing patchouli and jasmine perfumes, but this has changed. I love this perfume. It is elegant, fresh, not too complicated, but beautiful. It really leans to masculine side, but I like this element too. I feel like when my husband wears his Bleu de Chanel and I wear this, it is like twinning moment and we both like it (I know it is a little bit cheesy :)). Girls from office love this scent too. I will buy a bigger bottle next time :)..

I received a tester from a purchase a while back and forgot that I had it. Fast forward to today, I discovered it amongst a bunch of testers on my vanity. I sprayed it liberally, and I can still smell it after more than 8hrs. The lingering note is musky (maybe the amber?), which I love. I caught whiffs of it throughout my workday, and it seemed very unisex to me, as opposed to when I initially sprayed it: quite feminine. I'm not good with notes, etc., but I prefer florals, and this is beautiful. This is definitely a FB for me.

As someone who has cherished Eau Fraiche EDT for many years I was so excited for an EDP release of this beautiful fragrance! The EDP has been reduced to a simple scent with a stronger base; a woody-sweet citrus with a sprinkling of jasmine. The EDT has more diversity to notes, the flowers sing, and the citrus sparkles on the skin. The EDP will be great for layering and the amber-woody dry-down makes this wearable in the cooler months for me. I have no regrets, Chanel is always pure class - you will definitely smell good!

It's a love from me! To be fair I already own and enjoy the edt version of Eau Fraiche but this more potent version is a winner! I will certainly chose this over the edt when the time comes to buy a new bottle. I would not purchase this in addition to the edt as the essence, the DNA remains the same between both versions. As expected, the edp has just got more ooooompphh! I am very aware I smell fabulous several hours after application! Eau Vive next for an upgrade??

yes yes yes I love it I LOVE IT. It's just a fragrance to wake up completely, so fresh and citrusy! It was sharp and "too much" for me at the first time, but I get it now. You might be bothering others, cause it's definitely not very light, but who cares. early morning, the rain had just stopped, breakfast on the terrace of your own house, a fresh bouquet of flowers in the center of the table, a white dress, hair tied in a bun, no makeup. 💚🤍

I was just going to buy Les Eaux Paris - Paris, but this has the same addictive layer within, minus the patchouli AND lasts longer. I’ve enjoyed the whole Chance line over the decades, but this really is something special. Someone here compared it to a more refined version of CK One, and I’d agree. Though, Fraiche EDP has a touch of floral. As far as comparing this to the EDT, imo, the EDP is smoother, less green, and more sparkling.

The EDT was one of my favorite scents, no doubt. This one I can say has surpassed it. Bought the large size. It’s worth every penny, luminous, full and beautiful. If you’re familiar with the EDT you will know the difference instantly. A little sweeter, more floral and rich, less grassy. Perfect on skin, blooms in the heat. The bottle cap is also very beautiful and a definite upgrade from the sheer plastic one in the EDT.

Effortless and elegant. Bright, crisp citrus with a warm, woody base. It’s lovely. I don’t get a lot of Jasmine on my skin, so it doesn’t read as super femenine to me, kinda unisex! It’s a little peppery to my nose, even though there are no real pepper notes. I quite like it, longevity is pretty decent (about 7-8 hours for me), silage is moderate. Perfect for warmer weather and sunny days!

I stopped by the Ulta Chanel counter yesterday and gave this one a spritz. My nose was very pleased that Mr. Polge has really warmed it up by amplifying the jasmine in it. In the past, I'd found the edt version too masculine leaning for my taste, but I love this warmer, more feminine edition. The miracle is that it hasn't lost any of its crisp freshness. This one might go on my want list.

Im a man and im in love with this fragrance. I wear it sometimes and it never dissapoints, in my culture this type of scent is considered unisex or slightly feminine. Its fresh and clean and has this warm side to it great for the spring and the performance is great too the only downside is it being overpriced. By far this is the best women's fragrance i have ever encountered .

I love this! It's so sparkly, fresh, and crisp. Even though I'm not a fan of citrusy/lemon notes in perfumes because it reminds me of lemon house cleaner, I don't get that from this. This might sound weird but I feel like this is a crispy green salad drizzled with lemon juice in perfume form. I think this would be a great daily fragrance for a warm, dry summer. :)

Purchased a bottle today and I’m IN LOVE with this fragrance! It’s SUPER nice. I have the EDT version, I like it, but the EDP is way stronger and lasts longer on me. It’s so fresh and clean with a bit of amber which makes it stay longer on the skin. This one will be staying in my collection! Now, I can’t wait for the Eau Vive in EDP, hope they release it!

This is so fresh in a sexy and sophisticated way. I love the opening. I liked the toilette but was too weak so really happy they came out with a stronger formulation. I would wear this most of the year, maybe not deep winter but it’s very nice for super hot summer. I think it’s very nice classy wear to the office sent but husband loves it too.

My favourite scent that I've tried so far. I love the lemon notes, I don't know if it's just me but I feel powdery scent aswell. Clean and sweet at the same time. They last for about 4 – 6 hours, I wish they lasted longer.I know they cost that much because of the brand, but they're not really worth that price because of their poor longevity.

It has a lot in common with the edt, but it is deeper and maybe for cooler summer days and spring. Beautiful, fresh, a little unisex even. Clean and green, different from Chanel's DNA, a more youthful reading for the younger audience of the brand. It can be worn by both girls and women. For me it is perfect as a blind buy.

If I had to pick one fragrance for spring and summer it would be this new edp. In the edt there was smth that bothered me - maybe my skin reaction, here it is not plus it has great longevity. Finaly I found beautiful citrusy fragrance that is rounded by other ingredients with decent longevity. Bravo.

I've been looking for a perfume that smells like this for years 😆 In 2017 I absolutely fell in love with Dove's shower gel - nourishing secrets invigorating ritual with avocado 🥑 oil and calendula extract - And this scent reminds me exactly of it I'm so happy 😊 it smells invigorating Brilliant

Love it, all the clean fresh the notes I get in 1st minute is exactly what stays on me next 24 hours (and more on clothes) - no change whatsoever. . I'm usually mixing it with Eau Tendre, but it's also wonderful on it's own. Makes me feel fresh & luxurious even in most "sticky" weather.

I've been using this perfume since 2011. Whenever I feel like trying something new and buy another fragrance, I always end up coming back to this one. Sometimes the sillage is a bit weak, but I still haven’t found anything that can replace it.

Just got this today. In the opening, I'm getting a green grassy, ever so slightly, dare I say, coconutty vibe? It's subtle. This is so creamy, elegant and well-blended. Much less sharp and slightly more feminine than the original. Love!

Perfect fresh clean scent that lasts for a decent amount of time and projects well but is also office friendly. Always get compliments when wearing this. Unisex but more feminine leaning and best suited for a warm climate.

Oh wow. I'm certainly not in the target group for this perfume, but I love the style of Olivier Polge. Very modern, almost futuristic. Quite simplistic, but very 'effective'. To the point. What a beauty. Love it.

Wore this a lot when I was younger. As I've grown my personal style and taste has too but I still have to agree that this is a great scent for spring, one of the best I know of at the moment.

After trying this a Macys, I had to purchase it and the limited body cream for it. Wearing the two together layered with the Coco Mademoiselle body oil creates a phenomenal combo.

The Chance perfumes are mesmerizing. This one is no exception. Stunning. So beautiful, so freeh, so deep all the same. Exquisite. Hautingly gorgeous. That’s all. I love Chanel.

I love this new EDP. Citrusy floral in the opening, warm, woody-ambery in the drydown. Long lasting and very elegant. Great layering with Coco Mademoiselle Body Oil.

Significantly better than the edt. The later is too sharp and masculine for me. Prefer the edp, which is more rounded and in my opinion better blended.

Love at first sniff the silage is fantastic. The Jasmine and teakwood shine all the way through to the dry down. 10/10 I adore this creation.

This one's for the girlies who want to smell not just clean, but crisp. The initial spray is a bit sharper than the EDT. Forever a favorite.

Not sure why people are having arguments in the comments about whether this scent is feminine or masculine. Who cares? Wear what you want. For me, every time I spray this scent, my immediate reaction is that it smells like a crisp green apple. Perhaps that was influenced a little by the green liquid, but I don't think Chanel would have chosen this juice colour if they didn't feel it was fitting. Overall, I get green apple, citrus, and a bit of white florals in the background. It has a deepness from the amber, but overall this is very well-blended and like most Chanel perfumes, you can't pick out individual notes that easily, it all just melds together to create something very smooth and multi-faceted. This is not like your typical freshie that smells amazing then disappears after 5 minutes, however. This stuff is strong in projection, and lasts such a long time. Those deep base notes are what helps give it the longevity. It smells very Chanel, very fresh and clean. If we want to go based on gender stereotypes, this scent is unisex. Compared to the EDT, I would say the EDP leans slightly more feminine because there is such a sweetness in the drydown. Maybe that's just on my skin, but I've seen it in some other reviews as well. Overall, I like this scent and am considering adding it to my collection. I think if you're looking for a fresh and clean scent that actually lasts, then this could be for you. It smells great in warmer weather in particular. That's when I get that crisp green apple scent in the opening, followed by citrus and florals. When I've tested this in cold weather, it's come across sharper and more harsh, like lemon floor cleaner. In general, Chanel perfumes are something I've had to become accustomed to, but once you fall in love with a Chanel it will be your most-used fragrance. The Chance line in particular makes excellent easy reach perfumes that suit most occasions and moods. The price is high, but you can also tell the quality of ingredients is high, and of course the branding is impeccable. When you wear Chanel, it gives you a different feeling than anything else.

It has such a beautiful, exciting start - bright, round, fresh, light. One can instantly fall in love with it. Only looking at the notes I can separate them from the mix, otherwise I would not guess them. After looking at the piramid I feel the parts as a dominating citron, then jasmine. Then teak wood, a dash of aldehydes and a rounding it all up amber. It is clean, refreshing and elegant. Projects nicely, too. Its autumn, but the new eau de parfum performs well, especially if you like it fresh. On my left wrist - the lovely Chance Eau Fraiche eau de toilette - the start is less beautiful, as I feel musk at the bottom in a raw way, but just as fresh. First 15 minutes go to the new eau de parfum, too. I feel the entire mix in the edp, the edt reveals only cedar, lemon and citron with musk underneath. Then they turn identical. After two hours the edt is starting to win. Thanks to musk and water hyacinth it gets gentler, the edp continues to be fresh and sporty, slightly woody. 4 hours and they again turn near identical. The edt feels more complex, more feminine and floral but only in minor nuances. 5 hours in - the edt is deliciously sweet, and feels prettier, the edp softened, starts to be less fresh but is more agile. 7hours - edt still wins though it hit far dry-down already, but I like it. The complexity payed off. It feels very feminine. Musky-floral and still multifaceted. The edp is still radiating heart notes and is projecting a bit. It is also pretty, but more sporty. 10hours - the edt is now a musky blur, barely there but the edp retains its citrusy character with woody background and is still quite vivid on my skin. What you smell at the start of Chance Eau Fraiche eau de parfum is what you will get at the end. It only loses its strength. It is a very enjoyable citrusy mood lifter - energy provider, yet I prefer the eau de toilette that evolves during the day and never lets me bored. They are very similar, but the edp lacks the decorative notes that enhance the main players while the edt has them. The edp is also woodier while the edt is muskier and more floral.

I didn't like this initially since I always smelled it in stores by spraying it on my wrist or a tester. The grapefruit was too bitter / sharp for me as a citrus and imagine body odor. But when I wore it fully using a sample, it truly felt like I was effortlessly classy and professional. I wore it to work, but honestly it's a signature scent, and pairs well when you want to dress nice, timeless, and classy. In terms of scent profile: a citrus with a smooth aldehyde touch and a slight wood for support. I don't even like aldehydes but this was really nice. Boyfriend said it smelled soapy, and I'll agree it smells like high end body soap - the ones you get at really nice hotels. After reading comments, I will say it does lean more masculine and reminds me of cologne sometimes. I'd say it's unisex since a lot of colognes are without out a doubt in the 'marketed for men' kind of vibe

Just bought this yesterday! You can really smell the super Chanel-like aldehyde in the opening not like the old Chanels. But it does smell fresh and sharp at the start and with more jasmine at the middles notes not as masculine as the edt~ I do smell a more forest like base note than the edt too! I swear I do noticed a very Chanel patchouli on the dry down it smells really different with the edt after the opening where you still find something similar with the opening comparing to the edt! The juice is so much greener too~ this remains very fresh and uplifting I was worrying that it’d end up super musky like the chance edp luckily it doesn’t !! Still a summer grab and go with a woodier base. It was a surprise that Chanel would still love to add something new to the Chance family 😂 I do really like the Chance bottles!
