Chance Eau Fraiche

Awhile back I asked my older, more sophisticated sister what fragrance she wore. She said she mixes Allure and Chance, without specifying one. I went to Dillard's, grabbed one of the 4 testers, sprayed myself generously and left. I fell in love with the scent. It was lemony and sporty and fresh and kind of reminded me of a shower, soap and shaving foam, the old-school white foamy kind. I hung my cardigan that evening and opened my closet later and got a blast of a cool clean peppery smell. I went back to Dillard's and told a sales associate I used one of the Chance fragrances but wasn't sure which one. When I said 'peppery' she immediately assumed I had tried Eau Tendre. I bought it and liked it ok but I knew it wasn't the right one. Today I finally went back and bought the correct one. Eau Fraiche, what a perfect, well-rounded scent. It's lemony but not chemically, it's fresh but not too earthy, it's soapy but not nauseating, and it's sporty but not in a 'Polo Sport' cheap overbearing way. It's one of the few scents that I have no complaints about. A miracle, actually. I usually always find a note that sticks out that I don't like, or I find a scent that smells like another scent or another person, this one is just so perfect. It smells like Easter Day. I really do imagine a light green color, with pastel eggs, a fresh cool grassy morning breeze, and a lemon pie for lunch. Something like that. And I can't wait to try during the tiny cold season we have here in Texas. This scent is cool, sharp and linear. I think that helps it be appropriate during any season. My new signature, I do believe! What an exciting time in my life ;)

I said I’d eventually write a review for this after spending more time with my sample, so here it is. I wore this during the 2022 heatwave. And yes, I ended up buying another sample. I couldn’t decide, basically, if I wanted this to be my signature or not. It’s SO good. It’s perfectly fresh-feminine. Girls that don’t want to smell too “girly”. Girls that don’t want to smell too “perfumey”. Decidedly not masculine but not your traditional feminine. In my last review I mentioned that lemon verbena quality to it, which must be the use of cedar as a top-note. It’s so classy, fresh, sexy and self assured. However, I decided against it as a signature in the end. Despite how much I adore the scent, there is something linear and slightly cold about it. This works beautifully well in the summer, but at any other time of the year, especially here in the UK rain, I couldn’t wear it. It suits the French chic girl. It is beautiful, demure, controlled, classy. That girl is not me. Chance Eau Fraiche is not generous or bombastic, it’s restrained and pretty. I have possible undiagnosed ADHD and I often feel I am bursting at the seams. I need something giving and comforting. This is aloof and sexy and oh so good, but I cannot cosy up in it. If you’re not bothered by any of that, my God is it a safe blind buy. It’ll always be on my “love” list.

One of my most favorite citrus fragrances for summer, great for walking around outdoors, or indoors (which lasts much longer inside). The citrus opening is strong, and easily unisex, but lasts a good 4-6 hours. One of the longest lasting citruses I have smelt recently. With most citrus fragrances, they all only live in the opening and then die down within 30-90 minutes. The cedar, patchouli, pink pepper, vetiver, and iris here really help carry those citruses through, even though it makes the fragrance lean more on the unisex or borderline masculine side for a while. The projection and sillage on this is still very excellent and performs better than many "luxury" fragrances I have tried. The drydown then turns into feminine white florals after about 5-6 hours or so. The white musk base with a touch of patchouli always smells phenomenal (at least to me) and helps balance the top and middle notes without it being too fruity, screechy, overwhelming, or cheap (body spray territory). Great for cutting through heat and sweat. The Eau de Toilette lasts 6-8 hours on clothes easily, which makes its performance truly reminiscent of my favorite EDTs from 2001-2012. For this reason, I rate Chanel Chance Fraiche Eau de Toilette a great value for the price. I'll definitely be grabbing a small bottle of this for the summer.

Whichever way you look at it, a Chanel scent will always be chic. The Chance line is a deliberate crowd pleaser, it is not for people who love quirky or heavier niche scents, and especially Eau Tendre or Eau Fraiche are also aimed at younger audiences. It seems to me that this line is stripped of everything that could be challenging or surprising in any way to a regular nose with a turned up and amplified Chanel DNA and what is left is the Chance line. Saying that, I absolutely get it, find the idea very smart ..and obviously, they've nailed it. Eau Fraiche is beautifully fresh and it works very well with my skin chemistry and so I wear it - but not the scent itself, I wear the body lotion and the body oil. This way I find, I get the most out of it. Wearing it this way, it does not try to be more than it is because it smell like a luxury body care product in the first place. The citrus and cedar are beautifully warmed up by the amber and vetiver - with creamy flowers int he middle - ..or at least that's how I read it. It's a perfectly fresh casual and upbeat scent, meaning lunch date with friends or even a gym session. Guys love it on the opposite sex and they love wearing it themselves too. Rather good lasting power and decent projection.

I’ve often thought that I like change too much to have a signature perfume, but that all changed when I smelled Chance Eau Fraiche. I’ve been wearing this gorgeous fragrance since 2019 and I don’t see an end in sight. Most fragrances I need a break by the time I finish the bottle, but with Eau Fraiche I never want the fragrance to run out. When I wear Eau Fraiche I get fresh out of the shower vibes, walking in the forests of Washington vibes. It’s simultaneously sporty and classy. Eau Fraiche has the great duality of being the perfect fragrance to spritz on for a hike in the woods or to wear to the office. It’s such a refreshing and sophisticated scent. Eau Fraiche is completely inoffensive, borderline tomboyish but still extremely elegant. Chanel knows how to do elegance and class. Every time I wear this fragrance I get compliments, actually mostly by men. My husband LOVES this fragrance as well. I’m pretty sure it’s his absolute favorite! He doesn’t usually care about perfume, at all, but I know he likes a perfume on me if he chooses to say something. Chance Eau Fraiche could definitely be a year-round scent especially if you live in a hot humid state like me, but it shines best in the late spring, summer, and early autumn months.

Sometimes I feel delicate, and I want a clean musk to be present but with a hint of freshness, especially during the springtime; this is it. It opens with citrus and then you can smell a soft wood until it becomes a delicate (and fresh) musky scent. At least that is how it develops on my skin, and I love it! It becomes a skin scent after 3 hours, I use the hair mist to enhance it! Edit: I can't get enough of this one. There is a soft musk that predominates on my skin that I find incredible. My journey this year has been about finding this type of musky drydown in other fragrances and I haven't been successful. I have a few bottles and decants of different types of musk (from funky to molecular) but this one has no equal in my small collection. Yes, it is inoffensive (too common for some people) but is one of those scents that leave an olfactory memory that can't be compared (it's a point of reference). Trust me on this: your romantic partner and those who get close enough to you will find it not only fresh and delicate but extremely addictive over time. In my opinion, this one has that innocent sensuality factor that only a few perfumes can truly achieve.

I have had this fragrance in EDT for a while now and stillfind it quite potent (bought this bottle in 2018). I first purchased a bottle in 2008. It lasted me about 8 years. I fell in and out of love with it, but it still found it a wonderful fragrance, just unsure if I found it feminine enough in certain circonstances. Therefore, I find that althought marketed as a female scent, it has more of a unisex feel to me. I would be delighted to smell this fragrance on a guy rather than some cologne which half the time I find way to strong for my taste. The EDT is a well crafted fragrance that is worth havin in your arsenal.I would say, more than a Coco Mademoiselle even. Chance eau fraiche is vibrant and invigorating but also a bit formal so to me is a get to work scent lol. I also have Coco Mademoiselle and cannot wear it for the life of me. To me, Chance eau fraiche is as far as I want to go with the chanel signature scent. Beyond that, it just nausiates me unfortunately, without subtleties.

Yummy. This is probably my best summer purchase yet. It’s so beautifully blended. Fresh, crisp, and smells like you just stepped out of the shower. The dry down is my favorite part. The florals start to come through while the citrus is still there, and together they smell so clean and refreshing. I’d say it’s a pretty safe blind buy if you love fresh, citrusy scents. It’s instantly uplifting. I just hope the longevity is as good as the scent itself. I smelled the EDP in the store first, and on me it had a slightly sporty, almost men’s cologne kind of vibe. I actually liked it, but then I tried the EDT on my skin and completely fell in love. The iris, patchouli, and vetiver are gorgeous, and I genuinely can’t stop smelling my wrist whenever I wear it. I’ve tried Chance Eau Tendre before, but this one feel much more unique to me. It’s crisper, cleaner, and has that sparkling freshness that’s perfect for hot weather.

I try this on so often and I need to just buy it. I love fresh scents and I struggle finding ones that last. I wear Tiffany Original EDP and Tiffany & Love quite often because they are such gorgeous scents but I've come to terms with the fact that absolutely no one can smell them on me and they have very poor lasting power. However, every time I spray this on myself, it stays for hours and the scent remains on my clothes for long after. Lemon comes out first with this one, but it's not a sickening cleaner lemon. I don't like Light Blue because I feel the lemon smells artificial. This one is classy and fresh without being a super obvious, screaming citrus scent. The dry down is woody and slightly cologne-y. I've owned Eau Tendre EDT but I found the lasting power poor and it just isn't unique to me. This I think is my favourite of the Chances, and I think it will be one of my next purchases!!

Chance Eau Fraîche shares a lot of its DNA with the original Chance, but is a lighter, fresher, and more feminine version that ultimately falls flat. Chance Eau Fraîche opens with a bright, tart citron note that veers beautifully close to a freshly picked citrons. Citron is a super fabulous note for me. The jasmine-pink pepper accord forms the heart, harking back to the original Chance. It is like a light, fresh floral fruity here, almost aquatic but with some floral sweetness. As it dries down, clean white musk fills in my nose, alongside some patchouli — somewhat similar to the original Chance. It feels relaxing and happy. I really enjoy the drydown phase at all. Sillage and longevity are amazing! A fresher and Citrony version of Chance that has some nuance of the original, Chance Eau Fraîche is certainly as good as Chance and offers superior summer freshness.

High-end fragrances are typically so well blended it's difficult to distinguish the separate notes, and this is true, in my opinion, for Chanel especially, who can blend many notes into an entirely new and singular aroma, translating into a "feeling" rather than any identifiable mix of ingredients. To me, Chance Eau Fraiche simply feels like a fresh woods or garden, or how my kitchen smells when I'm making lemon curd in the spring or summer with scents from the trees and garden wafting in through the back screen door. I actually feel more comfortable wearing this scent than I do wearing my "signature" fragrance, Balenciaga L'Essence. I think L'Essence is more sophisticated and complex, and it's how I want others to see me; but Eau Fraiche is how I see myself . . . barefoot, in jeans and a tee, communing with nature, happy and content.

Nothing smells quite like the Chanel Chance perfume line! I love them. Chance Eau Fraiche is (as the name implies) FRESH with bursts of lemon, freshly chopped cedar wood, mixed with some light florals and amber. But it is not overtly 'woodsy' nor is it dark. This is still a springtime perfume, citrus is the star player here. The wood notes and lack of sweetness do make this a more grounded mature fragrance, where Chance Eau Tendre is more youthful. I have Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche and Eau Tendre. They are both fresh citrus scents, I love them both. The big difference, Eau Tendre is more floral forward and more sweet than Eau Fraiche. Tendre leans happy, bubbly, bright & youthful. While Fraiche leans classy, crisp, luxurious & mature. But they are clearly related when you smell them, so they have the same base profile.

May the 1.5k who voted as this being a Womans perfume step to the front coz WHAT???this is more unisex than the word unisex. This is very good,bright crisp wood with a hint of toilet cleaner which in this case,is a dirty pleasure, The longevity and sillage is very impressive for such a light/airy scent,will layer so good with mainly female perfumes due to the fact it will give it some edge and depth which is mainly why i bought it lol. The only thing thats kind of a bummer is the fact that the EDP & EDT is so SIMILAR (basically the same) in packaging i accidently bought the EDP and thats how im here💀oops. Im not dissapointed because i love the wood in here more than the sparkling aldehydics & jasmine in the EDT so whatever. Still not sure if i would repurchase since its abit tooo masculine for my taste

This perfume broke my heart. I actually wore it on my wedding day and all throughout our honeymoon, and always felt beautiful--to me it is summer in bottle, very sexy and timeless. However, my body chemistry really went crazy after pregnancy, and the scent started to make me nauseous. I hope one day to be able to wear this fragrance again, because I still truly love it and because it is associated with so many happy memories... UPDATE: I just got a sample of this with a swap and tried it on just for the heck of it. I assumed I would be scrubbing it off within an hour. Lo and behold, I wore it ALL DAY with no sneezing, nausea or turning funky on my skin as it seemed to in the past. I don't want to speak too soon, but I think I might be able to wear it again. Oh happy day!

My absolute favourite Chanel scent ... no competition. I’m obsessed with how fresh, sparkling, and radiant this is. The EDT is a total star for me; it lasts insanely long on my skin and leaves the prettiest, cleanest scent trail. I didn’t enjoy the EDP version much .. it just didn’t have the same charm. This one opens with a burst of lemon and citron that feels like pure energy, then mellows into soft water hyacinth and jasmine with just a whisper of pepper. The dry down is a dream ... that cedar, patchouli, and amber blend with iris and teakwood to create this cool, crisp, almost breezy elegance. It’s the kind of scent I’ll always repurchase. Feminine, polished, and effortlessly fresh Chance Eau Fraiche is just... perfection. I LOVE it. – Bhavna Darira Chesan

I rate this a 10/10. This is my favorite perfume of all time, such a fresh scent, and I can't even count the number of bottles I've gone through since discovering this! I wear it all year long. I suppose yes it can smell a bit "masculine" and I'm female... but I do not care, it's super fresh and clean and lemon-grassy. Citrus scents are my favorite and I hate heavy sugary sweet perfumes, they make me want to get sick (Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia and YSL Mon Paris, I'm looking at you!). I didn't wear perfumes during covid, so the bottle I've had has lasted since around 2018/2019 but didn't get rancid despite being in a humid bathroom. It's a really a great perfume.

The scents of my childhood -- mum's favourite perfume. Loving, warm, fresh, and sophisticated. When I was young, my mum had to leave the house so early in the morning for work. Still, when I got up to get ready for school, I could smell her perfume lingering in the air. Later in the day when she got back, I could smell the faint scent when I hugged her. My mum has moved on to other perfume in the past few years. She owns a bottle, though rarely uses it anymore. However, this is the only perfume that makes me think of her. Will get myself a bottle one day, but hopefully... not soon. Love it... please never discontinue <3

I used to live in Washington D.C. and passed a woman getting off the metro who smelled amazing. I asked her what her fragrance was and she responded, "Chanel Chance, the green one!" When I moved to the Midwest, I encountered a woman in a store who also smelled amazing. When I asked her what she was wearing, she said, "Chanel Chance, the green one." So I bought it and loved it, but I haven't worn it for some time. I'm in a new relationship and tried some of my fragrances for him. This one was the immediate favorite. While body chemistry is very individual, I would definitely not rule this one out without trying it.

I absolutely love this fragrance. Bought my first bottle in 2007 and a few bottles since then. Feels very clean and invigorating. If you need a bit of a pick me up, it's great for those days. It does feel more unisex as well and less sexy for me, but I wear it to brighten and uplift myself rather then entice. I feel like it is a day fragrance also. And I wear it during the winter because it feels bright and fresh like an early spring morning. The only negative to this scent is the fact that the White musk gives me a headache if I overspray. Everything with a bit too much musk has the same effect on me.

Chance Eau Fraiche EDT review. I love it soooo much I want to swim in it. Citrus-fruity, fresh and sparkling. Joyful and mood enhancing. Perfect for summer. Not "mature" or 'young" - just right. Definitely has Chanel DNA ( I can draw similarities with Coco Mademoiselle maybe it is a citrus note). I am so happy I discover this one (with forum's help), because for now it is my everyday "to go" EDT. Longevity is good, I have to re-apply every 4 hours or so. Now I want to get Chance Eau Fraiche EDP and mix together maybe for better longevity. I wore this only a couple of days and already got compliments.

Fresh crisp woody citrusy scent that is perfect as an everyday summer scent. It smells very elegant and classy. You smell clean and fresh, and the idea that you are wearing a "Chanel" makes it more elevated. I got compliemneted on it by my coworker after 2 hours of spraying it on 2 different days. It has a respectful performance for an EDT. High quality but its way overpriced, but again its Chanel so its expected. Get the 150ml as it is the best deal and will be used daily. I really enjoy it and glad with my purchase. Whenever I smell it I imagine my mediterranian summer cruise holiday :)

Became my favorite fragrance so quickly! It never feels too much, just the right amount of enough. I’ve had 5+ coworkers tell me I smell amazing with this on. Fresh and classy! 💚🐸🌿🍏 Edit: As I’ve been wearing this one for a few months continuously, I can say the initial blast is like the first breath you take out of the water. After wearing it for some hours (3+), the drydown on my skin is sooo sophisticated ✨ I can still recognize a little bit from the initial blast from the very faint citrus remaining, but the best part is the wood really shining through with the musk and amber.

I was excited when I got this but I don’t know how to feel about it. It smells citrusy in an expire body lotion. I hope that smell of an expired body lotion will go away because this perfume is so expensive. I’ll try it next time when I go out. Maybe I’ll appreciate it. The longevity is really weak. I just sprayed it 5mins ago and now the smell is gone. It’s only a skin smell. It definitely does not smell anything like the versace versense. I don’t know if it’s my body chemistry but I smell a cigarette butt. It really smells like an expired lotion.

Initially I didn't think this perfume was anything special, but after wearing it for a few days I really grew to love it--the opening is fresh and slightly spicy (the pink pepper comes through pretty strongly for me at first spray) with a very characteristic Chanel finish, very airy smell. But what I really love is the dry down, after a day of wearing it it really smelled like my skin with a soapy but not laundry scent that clung to my skin. I don't usually love super feminine scents so the notes of vetiver and patchouli were also a plus for me!

I adore this perfume, it is forever my 'if you could only have one' perfume without a doubt. I've had it since it first dropped and it is my best compliment-getting scent. I even had to get a 2nd bottle before the first even ran out. Citrus, fresh, energizing-this has everything. And, it LASTS! 6-8 hour range definitely. Perfect summer scent, it shines when it's hot outside. The new Eau Fraiche EDP is slightly darker green with a metallic silver cap, this EDT is lighter green juice with a semi-opaque white/clear cap. I am so rejuvenated by this!!!! It was my sister’s signature for a while, but I realized that the original chance was my signature for so long in my twenties, I might as well try this one. Well, this absolutely feels like the original- just a spring/summer version! I love the classic chance floral blend: hyacinth, jasmine and iris. There really is nothing more beautiful to my nose. I find this feminine even though others say it leans unisex. (This can be found at duty free in airports for under $100, which is why I jumped on it!!!)

On me, this is lemon, cedar, pink pepper, iris and white musk from the first spray to dry down, on skin or clothes or the next day, no matter what it doesn't change. I don't get any patchouli, jasmine or amber. This is bright and fresh in a crisp and sparkling way. Very much pencil shavings in there and I love that too. I like fresh frags in the winter air, so that is when I wear it, stays fresh that way. Smells like a blazing clear, blue sky on a snowy winter day. Similar to Eau de Cartier and nothing like the Chance line itself.

Green, citrus, lemon-y. Reminiscent of lemon pledge, but not in a bad way. Something about this just works. People say it’s unisex, and it can be of course, but I find it very feminine. Lovely fresh fragrance... it reminds me of walking through Bryant Park in the spring. Youthful, but sophisticated. Lasting power is minimal. I tend to stay away from citrus freshies, as I find them sharply cloying, or smell like cleaner... this one does not. Actually, if I had to buy a “freshie”, i would buy this one. Really, really sophisticated.

Hands down my favourite summer fragrance, it is so good! It reminds me of the Aqua di Gioa from Armani, but what I find a bit difficult about that is that the longevity is very bad. I was so positively surprised how long lasting this fragrance is! It's woody, is fresh, it's modern, it's dynamic but also elegant, for me this fragrance is Heidi Klum in jeans and a perfectly fitted white t-shirt, I cannot explain why. :D For me it's a very non-offensive but present clean girl, everyday/office day/summer day fragrance, love it!

If I could only have one scent for hot weather, this would be it. It’s the classiest, most refined refresher I’ve ever smelled, while still being feminine, and having good sillage/longevity (for a freshie). Compliment magnet. Better than Tendre or Eau Vive. Super fresh and very pretty. Amazing for hot days. I don’t find it ‘masculine’ or ‘sporty’ like some reviewers do, not even a little bit, not even unisex...it smells feminine, elegant and perfumey to my nose, but in the most refreshing way possible.

Fresh, energizing, CK One with more fruit and fem! Love it so much! I’ve been wearing this year round and it just works. It works when I want to feel energized for a workout, when I step out of the shower and feel clean, when I’m running errands, all the day to things. So more of a casual delight! But I’d totally wear it to an event - I just like warmer sexier scents for that. Also, if you’re afraid of the patchouli notes - I can’t pick it out at all. The woody, fresh, fruity notes are the loud ones.

I finally got myself a small bottle of this, I have the big bottle of the pink one but can’t afford the big one of this sadly....anywho....i love how fresh this is, it is very unisex and citrusy and smells like if Versace Versense and Elizabeth Arden Untold eau fraiche had a love child-this is exactly what it would smell like. If you like fresh citrusy and don’t mind it being more unisex than a woman’s fragrance than get this. It’s really nice if you’re into green perfumes....if ya know, ya know!

I sprayed some of this on my hand while out shopping today, and I have to say I love it! So fresh and yet sophisticated. I definitely feel its more unisex though, I think any gender could pull this off. Very lemony. I washed my hands about an hour after applying this, and can still get a slight whiff if I put it close to my nose, which to me is impressive for a fraiche perfume. I prefer subtle scents that don't project too much so this is definitely up my street, might not be for everyone though.

at first when I tried it, I could only smell the lemon and citrus. I didn't wear it again for many days. until after a shower I went to try it again and let it sit on my skin for a while. and oh my God. let me tell you, it is such a beautiful scent. not my favorite from the chanel chance line but still one of the best. it lasts and has that aquatic woody, yet floral citrus smell. it lasts a decent length and has great spillage. it is so worth it. in my opinion all of the chance fragrances are.

I recently got a sample vial of Eau Fraiche; I'm really enjoying it. It smells like a good cologne. So far, I've experienced good longevity, but only moderate sillage, which suits my taste well. I was surprised to find myself agreeing a some of the other reviews about it being much less feminine than I've come to expect from Chanel. It might be the fresh, cologne-like smell: I would consider this to be unisex. This is a solid choice for a work scent. Fresh, clean, and woody.

I’ve probably reviewed this many times but again I say, no, proclaim that this is a truly heavenly fragrance! I took the fleeting opportunity to wear this on what is probably one of the last hot days of the year in my region. It never fails to encapsulate all that is good about those hot summer days and beautiful skies over the flowers bursting with life and vibrance. The uplifting nature of this scent is unmatched. Spray for a splash of sunshine and bliss.

The Chance fragrances are perfect with my chemistry. I’ve worn both Chance and Chance eau Tendré since their launches. Chance eau fraiche is wearing a light, lemony cloud of original Chance. It has that warm, irresistible sweet patchouli that makes it feel like a signature for me.As a teacher I’ve gotten so many compliments about how good my classroom smells, and people stop me in random place to ask what scent I’m wearing. Eau fraiche is very beautiful.

Crisp, fresh, clean. The citrus is blended so well with Jasmine and pink pepper that the trio is its own accord. It's a bit aquatic, a bit woody. Dry down has a slight powder, gentle musk and amber. But it's not weak - it lasts for hours. It reminds me of a spring garden that is just budding, not yet thick with florals - green and new. Gorgeous nymph-like feel. If you normally don't like Chanel florals, you'll probably like this one.

Ultimate clean girl perfume. I get compliments often on this one because it does project after fresh application. Lasts about 5-6 hours. This reminds me of this one unisex perfume from Benetton (it also had green juice) that I used to wear in high school. It’s a freshie with citrus and woods. Nothing complex or complicated. I love it. It’s my favourite signature summer perfume. It’s an easy reach during the hot summer months.

The ultimate summer Chanel. Ultra-fresh. Lemon and citron dominated on a gentle patchouli-vetiver canvas with jasmin heart. The lasting power and projection are perfect. It changes during the day, becoming more floral with musky finish. Adorable. Fresher and greener than Chance edp and edt. I prefer this to its new eau de parfum version because it changes more and has a gentle, gorgeous musky-floral-lemon finish.

smells like the lady you admire and look up to. she hugs you and you notice she smells like chance eau fraiche. you think yeah of course she smells good, you're not surprised in the slightest. this is the smell of a woman who has her whole life together. fresh, clean, soapy but in an endearing way. something unique about it at the same time. crisp citrus experience for ladies who have it all figured it out

Love love. I just finished my bottle number 97917. Some scents mark you and accompany throughout the stages of your life and you associate specific moments. This scent accompanied me for a long time...and certainly shaped my taste in perfumery and my inclination towards citrus, fresh, woody and musky scents. I might return to chance eau fraiche someday. For now, im preserving my olfactory memories

I LOVE this scent! It's very much fresh out of the shower scent and sexy. It's a bit more on the unisex side, but I'd say it's still slightly more feminine. To me it smells like you're sitting by a lily pond and surrounded by trees. Compared to Chance Eau Tendre EDT, it's a little bit more bold and obviously not as floral or as powdery. I think both are amazing but I prefer Eau Fraiche EDT! :)

I love the EDT way more than the EDP. To me the EDP smells almost like cheap “ocean mist” scented laundry detergent. Maybe I have to smell it some more but I find this version much fresher, cleaner, and realistic smelling. A fresh out the shower smell as a lot of us already know. I hope they don’t discontinue it as I’m noticing that their latest version was made EDP with no EDT behind it.

I really liked it, it's different from most Chanels. It has the touch of something young, girly, summery and pure in it. It smells like summer to me, it's good for the office, but also for a walk in the park. At first it seems more unisex to me, but as it develops it becomes more feminine. In my opinion, it's a safe scent for a blind purchase for a young girl or woman.

I have been wearing this one on and off for the past 12 years or so - it’s fresh, citrusy and great for a casual outing or work. On my clothes the scent lasts for DAYS and I can sometimes still smell it on them when I do laundry a week later. On my skin it lasts several hours, but not nearly as long as on my clothes. A perfect fragrance for summer and spring!

this is basically versace pour homme but fresher and woodier , i rather wear this than the male cologne hahah ,its advertised as female fragrance but i think its unisex enough to pull it off as a guy the floral tones are subtle and balanced well with the vetiver and wood notes, making it less soapy and more aromatic than versace pour homme

It's the only one fresh citrus scent that I truly love. Most of them give me a strong bathroom cleaner vibe. This one is completely different. Fresh, sparkling but also very classy. I love to wear it even during the winter. It's edp but last about 8 hours on my skin. Very well done fragrance. Absolutely must have in my collection 💚

I recently rebuyed a 150ml bottle. I bought the EDT in stead of the EDP. I missed the woodiness in the EDP. It is there, but less prominent and I found it more musky than the EDT. This one is perfectly balanced, that’s why Iove it. I will keep rebuying this forever! It’s inoffensive, airy, woody, citrussy and musky. Just perfect!
