Chanel No 5 L'Eau Eau De Toilette 100th Anniversary – Ask For The Moon Limited Edition

Fresh , soapy , clean , sweet at the end! Love it after shower , before bed or just during the day when I don’t want a strong scent around me ... It doesn’t last long but I don’t care ☺️

L'eau is a cleaner, softer version of the og No 5. In the first 5 minutes of application you can smell the citrus notes - which I adore. It then softens into a cozier, less powdery No 5 that feels younger and less offensive to those that aren't a fan of the iconic perfume. The dry down renders it citrus-less but pleasant. There is definitely a soapy vibe but I would be hard pressed to call it an aquatic scent or fresh. She's far too Chanel for that. I couldn't smell it on my skin the next day but there's a lingering on my clothes. It's safe for the office as the projection is less than the og. That's not a bad thing for those that love Chanel but want it to be a little more intimate. I like it but I won't purchase a full bottle. I would enjoy it a lot more if the citrus notes held it down to the bitter end.

picked up a sample. It is clean and I didn't mind the the fragrance while doing things around the house but it's a little old fashion to my nose to wear otherwise. It may be the aldehydes although i am not sure. I have Chance eau fraiche edt and that i love! I didn't mind spending the money on that but i would not spend it on #5 L'eau. Just my 2 cents....

It's a nice perfume, on my skin it smells fresh and clean, with orange notes being dominant. I don't get much of the powder which is good but it is not very impressive. It is a discreet scent, probably for office use as it doesn't give me a sexy vibe.

Received as a gift, initially I liked the way it smelled on my skin the first time I smelled it but ever since that first time I just can't enjoy it. It smells musky to me like it would suit a person 50+ Perhaps my preferences will change as I age...

Mature, dated, and contains a chemical note that reminds me of hair spray. I'm honestly fascinated by people that have the body chemistry to be able to pull this set off

I love my bottles of Chanel! They not only comes with class but also adds sophistication in my personality. This one looks citrusy fresh and I would wanna grab my hands on it asap!!!
