Chanel No 5 L'Eau Red Edition

Didn’t realize I hadn’t reviewed this yet! Fell in love with a sample when I bought Cristalle, blew through it and then bought this bottle. I actually wear this more to bed than during the day, but I enjoy it for both. Not the most amazing lasting power ever but this is amazingly fresh and also comforting. Citrus, aldehyde, floral goodness. This was my gateway to Chanel No 5. This and the Parfum are among bedtime favorites. The red bottle, classic shape and cap, simply stunning. Definitely will keep the bottle even when I’ve used it up.

Pleasantly surprised at how much I love this. I wanted a Chanel no5 since this was my grandma’s signature scent, and I’m missing her so much. The classic one is just way too much for me so I blind bought this one after seeing the reviews. And i don’t regret it one single bit! It’s so fresh and airy, but still retains that no5 DNA. And that red bottle tho 😍

My Mom and Auntie Dora had it and I love the smell! I smell jasmine, aldehydes and musk! And I love the bottle! Reminds me of Catriona Gray's red gown when she competed in Miss Universe 2018! By the way, I had the original version (the clear one) of Chanel No. 5 L' Eau and I love it anyway!

I am in love with this collector's gorgeous red bottle! And as for the perfume, I agree with you @100mlEDT, it definitely has some more kick to it and lasts a lot longer. Maybe it's the magical red flacon, preserving its contents well. Just lovely, crimson pleasure ;)

This smells amazing layered with bare vanilla body spray from victorias secret garden. Try it!

At Ritalin.. No its smells the same

So I bit the bullet and bought a Red Bottle of L'eau as I never cared for C No.5 itself. This though, ugh, is so very light :( It smells good, but alas it's a skin fragrance, and I'm not a fan of those. The bottle is gorgeous, but with how I feel about the fragrance itself, I find it extremely expensive. I should've bought a preowned/used bottle- for the bottle. I'll use a few times and with more #of sprays and see how it works out. So far silage is about 6 hrs. At first spray it's very watery (?), but then the notes come in and they are lovely, however it gets light very quickly turning into a skin scent- so there goes projection. I guess it's perfect to snuggle up with hubs and watch Netflix. Womp Womp

It is much softer and more floral than the original and Eau Premiere, which are strongly scented with aldehydes and ylang-ylang. Light scent, not unpleasant and easy to use in any season.

I am sorry to say this fragrance doesn’t agree with me. In fact, it’s awful. Also , the longevity is terrible and scent is extremely weak (which is OK when it smells like rag weed on me) but I was able to sell it on EBay. I don’t know why, but it seems as though fragrances by Oliver Polge are not what I expect from Chanel or any other designer. They don’t WOW me like the fragrances his father formulated. Perhaps his fragrances are targeting a younger market. I just hope Chanel doesn’t let him tweak and ruin any of the fragrances his father created.

I have both. L'eau original, and this red flanker L'eau. The red flanker lasts longer and smells a bit different than the original L'eau. I like this red flanker L'eau better. Maybe because the notes are juxtaposed and vanilla added? Anyways, I love both, but I'd choose this one first. I hope they bring this back. Both are not powerhouses. I will add that I get wafts throughout the day, and compliments galore with both. If you love regular L'eau, try to find this flanker. I think you will love it as much as I do.

I have never owned this fragrance until now , only testing samples when It was released . I’m not sure if it has changed but the performance and longevity are much better than I remember . Perhaps they have tinkered with the formulation and given it a little more something , something . The red falcon is beautiful and after not really being that impressed with the juice I am glad I have added it to my collection . I’m keen to hear if others feel the formula has improved .

In my opinion he new Chanel N°5 l'eau is a fresher, less heavier version of the Chanel N°5 eau de parfum. I would say more powdery, still very classy and wearable at any time and season. The red bottle is so pretty and gives it a luxurious, mysterious and wintery vibe. The only thing that bothers me a bit, is the weak long longevity.

I don't know about being related to Chanel No 5, for me that is the ultimate Jasmine and Rose fragrance, among other things, but damn if this isn't the most chic iris fragrance I've ever smelled. Just absolutely stunning.

The most beautiful red bottle ever and yes L'eau is an airy, pretty, very No 5 thing. Would I wear it if the bottle was clear? Probably not.

I read in the Chanel nro.5 L Eau (white bottle) that works well in a man as a no-gender fragance... is it true???

Is this smells different than clear bottle No 5 L’Eau?

Like the OG No.5 bit way softer. I prefer this one.
