Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu

I bought it today in the Chanel boutique in Antwerp Nelgium- rvI absolutely ❤️ love it! It’s only a little bit of the original Coco Mademoiselle in terms of super patchouly base which comes through beautifully and soft, lychee grapefruit and fatty are very prominent at first I would say it’s strong fragrance, not super unique like e.g. the 1957 extrait( I know no other perfumes that will equal that one and originality) but distinct enough to own it I own over 500 fragrances so.. combination of the flowers and the fruit gives a special flowery but also strong odour, the ready where I can sense in the base note it gives the perfume more woody strength! Have to test it some more but this is my first impression -:) I bought it in an instant🥰

Hi. I am a long time Chanel fan. I love this coco crush absolu. True it’s not out until August but I stopped by the Chanel boutique (aventura south florida) and they brought me to the back room where all the extrait de perfumes were for you to try on skin!!! They used a glass wand to get the juice out and drip on skin. And they had the coco crush absolu for pre order and a tester so I’m smelling it right now. And it is different than any other Chanel fragrance. It has oud notes to My nose similar to initio oud for greatness. Smells more like a niche fragrance. I will be purchasing once it’s available. So if u go to a chanel boutique u can ask to smell it as it is in the back room.

I purchased this today at my Chanel boutique in San Antonio. I know the official launch is not until the middle of August but they selected a few customers to experience and purchase early. I own the Parfum, the Eau de Parfum and the intense but this.... It’s my new favorite. It a fragrance that can take you from day to night with a bit of seductiveness. It is a fragrance that is built to include a new generation of fragrance lovers. The addition of Litchi, grapefruit and Vetiver are perfect.

This is Coco Mademoiselle all grown up, she is calm and rich - not in possessions but in life experiences. Zero fu*k she gives, no bull*hit she endures. She is calm, yet a fire is burning in her and you can sense it when you come closer. Nice blend of sweet velvety fruits with modern rose and burst of citrus. I can't compare this to any perfume I smelled, maybe Attrape-Rêves a bit. In my eyes a great release from Chanel. I would loved if Monica Bellucci was the model for this campaign.

Very tasty. True. Elegant, sophisticated, not loud but prominent enough .. first try and immediately compliment ☺️ It doesn’t smell like coco mademoiselle :) The first what came to my mind was Lancome La Vie Est Belle because of very blended sweet airy powder aura like feeling ... I love it .. why not? ♥️💋

I had the chance to smell it and to test it on skin a few weeks ago. First, I did not think it would be the final name (I thought it was a kind of code). But then, when I sprayed it I realized it was a Chanel fragrance! It is rich and very floral. BUT, it has nothing to see with the Coco Mademoiselle lines. This one is not as a Chypre but more a floral fruity ambery scent. I found zero similarities with the Coco Mademoiselle edt/ intense/ eau privée ... It could have been a whole brand new fragrance with an identity on its own. On skin in is very diffusive and floral, I smell more a creamy peach than lychee. I had some facets too of the warm woody/ dry oakmoss and amber of the Baccarat rouge but in a softer way. I reminds me also of Balenciaga “Twenty for seven “, the Coco crush being less coconut. I am sure it will be a very huge success. It smells modern, gourmand (not sweet) and ambery too. I will get a bottle for sure when it is officially out. 😍

Generally speaking, I'm a hard sell when it comes to Chanel perfume. To date I've only really liked Comete and nothing else. This one however surprised me. I got this as a free 2ml sample from Chanel. The opening, to me smells very fruity and quite youthful smelling. Then as it dries down, it goes into that more mature, expensive smell that I associate with most Chanel perfumes. That being said, it remains light enough that I don't get that 'old-fashioned' vibe I normally get with Chanel. To me, the rose and sweetness is definitely what sets it apart toning down what I feel is a 'vintage' smelling patchouli that comes out for me in the OG. I like this. Would I buy a full bottle? Probably not. Not for the price anyway. Not to say it's too expensive. I just don't like it quite enough to spend over £100 for it. But I am surprised how pleasant I find it.

Blind buy first impressions: Chanel does Narciso Rodriguez for her, red bottle. Little bit sinus burning, must have some aroma chemicals that we are pretending are worth the price hike. Definitely different enough from the others in the line that you could purchase without being redundant, if you’re a collector. Solid like, but not a desert island contender for me.

This does not smell like the OG but it is mass pleasing and quite long lasting! It is a safe blind buy and can be easily gifted to someone. It turns all ROSE powdery on my skin in a best possible way. Overall I like it! I will always love the OG intense!

This pains me to write a negative review, because I love Chanel. But this smells like Prada Paradoxe mixed with mouldy patchouli. Such a shame. Really hoping the tester was maybe from a bad batch.

It will be liked but for me it is too sweet. Too similar to everything we have. I say no.

Went to Macy's last night and it was behind the counter. Unfortunately this perfume reminds me of the smell of when you walk into Sephora or walk through a department store women’s perfume counter and all the heavy mix of perfumes hit you in the face. It’s every perfume you smell at once. It has no identity and smell likes a cornucopia of holding 10 test strips in your hand after sampling so many and feeling over and underwhelmed. I wanted to fall in love with this new release but it smells so mediocre. No identity no face. What has happened to Chanel perfume. The giant has fallen.

This does not remind me of the original, at all, and the name is misleading because my first thought when I smelled this was hmm, mature, classy...grandma scent. It’s not *bad* but it doesn’t have any of the wow factor the original one has. The “crush” made me think it would be a younger audience, and i can’t imagine anyone under 50 wearing this.

The crush absolu perfume has a distinctly different scent. Much like the original, the aroma is citrusy. While crush absolu swaps mandarin and orange for grapefruit and lychee, that same zingy, back-of-the-throat punch remains (in a good way). As it melds with the oils and heat of your skin, though, the lychee focal point and amber-vanilla base notes really begin to sing, making for a more sugary surround. In terms of who the new scent is best for, I’d say it skews younger than the OG with a less aromatic finish – largely, this is down to the removal of bergamot. The result is something that’s just as suited to daytime wear as it is to evenings. Likewise, it has excellent seasonal versatility. I spritzed my wrists and neck around 11am, and by 4pm, I could still smell the ambery notes without pressing my nose fully against my skin. It’s not in-your-face strong, but I think that less is more when it comes to perfume. (So long as it’s not undetectable entirely, that is.) If we’re splitting hairs, I’d caveat that the crush absolu eau de parfum feels a touch less unique than Chanel’s wider fragrance library. It’s not that it mimics any other fragrance, but rather that its sexy, sweet-floral-amber combination is by no means an untrodden path. I was very eager to try this one. It’s definitely different from the Coco Mademoiselle DNA, and borrows elements from Olivier Polge’s most recent fragrance roster (Chance Splendide, Comete, and even Paris-Paris). It starts powdery, very cosmetic raspberry “lipstick”. Some will say it’s very sweet; “gourmand”, Chanel calls it. However, there is a darkness to this fragrance attributed by what I assume are the ambery woods, giving this its androgyny. On my skin, the patchouli becomes prominent. Hear me out: I think this is what Dior Midnight Poison would’ve been under Chanel; in fact, I think it’s Polge’s take on creating something in the ballpark of Midnight Poison. It’s very elegantly made, and the Chanel DNA primes through. I don’t see the connections with Prada Paradoxe at all; this isn’t it. I will be wear-testing this more to see if it’s bottle worthy. So far, as “generic” as the smell seems to be (which to be fair, is only the beginning), I feel it’s a great interpretation of a rose Chypre. I think this will have the same destiny as Dior’s Midnight Poison and will be highly sought after if/when it’s discontinued.

After experiencing Crush Absolu, I have to be honest- I don't know how to feel about it. My first thoughts when I took the freshly sprayed blotter card were: "oh...no..." and the first words out of my mouth to the SA were "this is not ANYTHING like Coco Mademoiselle or Chanel. I don't think this feels like me". To my nose, Crush Absolu takes away everything that makes Coco Mademoiselle, Coco Mademoiselle, and you're left with a completely different fragrance. That said, I will try to wear the samples on my skin and see if my feelings change, but I honestly don't know if I can stand to wear it because I found this fragrance to smell very unpleasant. Will update soon. UPDATE 8/10/26: I dared to try it on skin, and that has made all the difference. I am actually quite liking this now and am appreciating it as a totally different scent from Mademoiselle OG & Intense. This is the dark almost smokey at times Chanel. Once the opening passes, I get a beautiful, sweet rose that keeps me interested as I catch myself huffing my wrists everytime I wear this. Have blown through the 2 samples.

I wasn’t impressed. Smells very much in the spirit of the Les Eaux de Chanel line, but even a bit simpler. At first it smells like a mix of Paris-Paris and Paris-Venise, then it turns into something reminiscent of Chance Eau Splendide. Extremely derivative. In the base it becomes flat. Candy-like. When tested side by side, the classic version smells much better — a beautiful contrast between the most gorgeous, juicy, damp, deep patchouli in the base and the top notes. Crush Absolu doesn’t have this contrast. The base is simple. It smells like a mid-tier brand perfume — Burberry Goddess or something. On its own, the fragrance is beautiful and well-made. It smells refined, with Chanel DNA, but like an averaged reinterpretation of something that already exists. Compared to the classic, it’s paler, simpler and flatter. The purpose of this release remains unclear to me.

I’ve been hoping for a new flanker for some time now. Coco Mad was my gateway __ to patchouli fragrances. I thought I didn’t like patchouli until the original CM came out. Which sent me on a journey to explore other patchouli perfumes. It’s still one of my favorite notes. She is a classic for a reasoN! I rarely blind buy frags but I will make an exception for her! Love the black label, & I couldn’t be more excited to get my nose on this. The intense version is my favorite in the line & I am hoping this one is long a lasting masterpiece as well! I will come back and update my review once I get my hands on it.

For some reason a local department store had this in stock already. It doesn't smell like Coco Mademoiselle, but it's quite nice. Rose and sour grapefruit are the most prominent notes, with a bit of a sweet, warm undertone. It's delicate and balanced but still fairly strong. I had a couple of sprays on my arm and I kept getting whiffs of it all afternoon. I can't imagine it will be very popular with Chanel purists but I don't think some of the other designer comparisons people have made are very accurate either. I can imagine coming to really love it with time.

I am a big fan of the OG mademoiselle as well as the flankers, but this one is not for me. Tried it today and found it to be overly sweet, in a juicy kind of way. It reminds me a bit of angel Nova and is just not my cup of tea. Staying power is amazing though. The drydown has something a bit old school shaving cream to my nose. I can detect a little of patchuli but this barely bares any similarities to the original. I was very disappointed as I LOVE the OG as well as the intense version. This one is a pass for me.

'Crush'. at first I also thought what a strange name. and then I became aware that it is one of the Lines of Haute Joaillerie of Chanel. they have simple bracelets, rings, and 160,000 $ Colliers with Sapphires and Diamonds. 'Crush' stands for the patterns embossed in the Silver, Gold or Platinum. and also for the 'Matelassé' bags from Chanel with Leather-embossed quilted patterns characteristic for Chanel.

Sweeter Very Good Girl but with less rose, drying down to the Coco Mademoiselle intense dna (aldehydes, florals, patchouli, etc). Quality is there, smells like a more high end-less super amber version of everything that’s on the duty free shop these days. I dig it. CM, VGG and Angel are my mom’s favorite fragrances, she’s going to love this one.

I was able to try it today, first spray it smelled like Libre Berry Crush, dry down smells like a water down Coco Mademoiselle Intense but more masculine smelling, it doesn't have that wow factor for a brand like Chanel. Not at all what I was expecting and terrible name which it doesn't make sense even if it's from the jewelry line, so what?

Of course it is possible, people working at Chanel, people working in perfumeries where they get samples beforehand,online order of a Chanel product and they give you a sample, Chanel customer and they give you a sample etc.You must be new to the perfume world, it's launching on the first week of September in licensed stores

I ordered this blind. It arrived, I sprayed it on and was brought back to the 80s. On me this smells like Calvin Klein Obsession. It's not bad, but I would not purchase it again. Staying power is great though. Nothing special unfortunately. I expected more.

It's ok so you are a perfume hoarder I have been there myself, I didn't mean to offend you at all. Hope you get to try the new CM soon enough, anyway just a few weeks away from official launch.

I tried this in Dubai and I usually wouldn’t go for this sweet flowery scent - but I find myself drawn to it I keep sniffing it and I am now dreaming of a full bottle 🥰

There’s something old school about this perfume, reminds me of the 80s perfumes Yardley Lace & White Satin. It’s giving floral hairspray vibes.

Sweet syrupy orange, boozy , I ve heard. It has siciliano mandarín and peach, I don't think I like those notes . Let's wait till it's here.

For the Coco Chanel Mademoiselle line up , I never liked the edp , only loved the EDT! But will be glad to test this out when it arrives!
