Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette

I am very late to the CM party. I most definitely have smelled this on many women, as signatures, mostly ranging in ages from 35ish to about 50ish but never ever knew what I was smelling. Though I always loved it when I smelled it. I never sampled CM because I thought I hated it, because I got it mixed up with Chanel Allure, a long ago purchase of mine which I forced myself to wear and really began to hate. Years passed and I sort of forgot about Allure. And when Coco Mademoiselle was mentioned I immediately conflated it with Allure and told myself “I know what it smells like and I hate it”. Well, finally in this last year I remembered what I actually had was Allure all those years ago (we are talking about 25 years ago), and sought to correct my stupidity and smell finally both Coco and Coco Mademoiselle. In both EDP and EDT formats, Well,I disliked Coco. But that’s a review for another time. But CM? Fell in love instantly! I felt sad though that I now wanted to own and wear this lovely creation when soooo many others were already walking around wearing it. No matter. I needed to have it. I really loved both the EDP and the EDT but ended up with just the EDT for now. As the weather is warming I found the EDT to wear better on my warm skin. It’s lighter and airier. That’s not to say it has no sillage or longevity, because it does for me. I leave a nice light trail, and I get 8-10 hours easily on my skin and multiple days on my clothing. I get strong grapefruit and rose on the opening and then mostly rose and patch throughout the dry down. Ending with a soft white musk. I can get some of the other notes coming in and out periodically, but sadly no vanilla. However it could be so well blended that I just can’t pick it out , because there is definitely a creaminess to this scent and it could be the vanilla. It is definitely not astringent as one would think with bergamot and grapefruit as the top notes. But it’s definitely got a freshness to it, just not a bite if it makes sense. I purchased the CM body lotion to layer with this as I couldn’t seem to find any of my skin creams that wouldn’t conflict. My go-to is always Nivea cream, it blends with everything so well usually but I couldn’t get it to work here. The body lotion is heavenly on its own though so it’s a win! I can’t make this my signature because it’s too many signatures of too many women, but in my head, it sorta is 😉

The EDP of this was my first perfume I bought for myself when I was able to overcome homelessness and got my first steady job. As I grew and became less femme leaning, I tired of the EDP (which is also incredibly powerful in sillage and projection) as I sometimes became sensitive to its strength and moved on. For a couple years I just wore Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea and called it a day. Once bought a bottle of Bleu de Chanel EDT. Then a little over a year ago, I started becoming more interested in fragrances. Fast forward to now, I have a collection that amounts to over 50 bottles. A nice mix of gendered perfumes, with some vintage and newer releases. I turned my nose up to the idea of purchasing the EDP again (despite loving Chanel), as I thought it had become all too common and I remember it becoming overbearing to me. Well I couldn’t help my curiosity as I hadn’t smelled the EDT concentration. Bought a bottle of the 1.7 oz refillable spray in a white and gold accented container, and I don’t regret it! It starts off with that all that citrus, and as it dries down I get the florals and fruit. Once it gets past that, I get that identifiable Coco Mademoiselle scent. It, personally, smells like a nice blend of every note from all of the stages. Albeit it isn’t as intense as the EDP, this current formulation of the EDT is still quite strong! I prefer some other Chanel fragrances over this, which is probably because I was raised by strong women who wore no 5, no 19, Allure, and Cristalle. But I still love this. I have many memories tied to this. I’ve finally come to respect and appreciate a balance for both femininity and masculinity, and don’t fear rocking a “woman’s” scent now. I don’t have my sh!t together, but when I wear this I feel both beautiful and put together. So now that I’ve revisited this and made friends again, I think I’ll always have this around.

Chanel is always a safe and classy perfume option. Today I tried it and my nose thinks it's slightly similar to Miss Dior EDT 2013 edition, way more citrus with a 'harsh' orangie opening that lasts a lot and for sure something like more mature let's say. I am saying this not to compare it with patchouli perfumes or call it generic as I am a gourmandise perfume lover. It's bold, it has a strong character, you can easily recognize an orange sharpness, nicely blended floral notes with grapefruit, hidden rose and vetiver, then a lot of patchouli and finally a powdery/creamy base to hold on your skin. It ends up with this sweetness when Coco Mademoiselle EDP starts with this. I find CM EDT more mature as I said. It looks simplier and it supposed to be softer for an EDT but it's not. It looks also similar to Miss Dior Cherie 2011-discontinued due to it's notes, but no. Sharp citrus/a bit animalic/powdery. You know what? I like it but I am not dying for it. What is LOVE is the amount that only one spray of it covers and the color of the perfume should and it is 'spicy' pink! Excellent sillage and lasting power for an EDT but what makes me sad is that Chanel and Coco Mademoiselle line follows the trends and competes the trend of patchouli/rose 'classy' combination lovers, making it's perfumes crowd pleasers than statements.

I'll just write right off the bat that I agree with aforementioned statements this is a happy celebratory worthy perfume. Yes! I'd forgotten by slob that I have her in my collection stored away. I used to spray her, yes I'll use this pronounce for the coffee sipping morning glory time now that I found her, deliberately on to my neckline and dabbed off on cashmere scarfs and trenches that I wore without a worry in the world.. I was queen of paved city streets, autumn boots black as night and there's a crisp tone in her that suits colder weather. Crisp not in a green way, although it could be and remember this is written from memory purely but oh what a memory, crisp as in a theme that slices through the top notes all the way down to the very compelling comforting self-assured base. If any perfume wraps you in comfort, glory and adventurous mindset it's her, and I wouldn't hesitate to use for dating Mr Right. For a more cashual forgettable rendez-vous I'd steer away, as the musk is prominent enough to dabble a hole in your memory that does not sit well, if you know what I mean. Reserved for pleasurable, memorable moments only. Basta. Which could easily be your entire life, if you dared look back in competitious frenzy. I could write a book sized memoir based on the memories from wearing Coco Mademoiselle edt Chanel.

I completely adore this scent so much so it is my signature. Whenever I wear it, women in particular ask what I'm wearing and comment on how lovely it smells. Some of them are disappointed when I tell them it is Coco Mademoiselle as they say it does not smell as good on them as on me. I must confess I am not a big fan of the top notes. There is something in it initially that hits the wrong chord in my nose, something too musky and "poohy" smelling. I've noticed it in other perfumes and men's colognes and am yet to identify it. It's more than likely because I am menopausal and my sense of smell has changed/heightened. Still I'd be interested to know which particular scent it is - the hunt continues. That stage does not last long thank goodness, and the vanilla settles on my skin so warmly, all day. I'm still sniffing my wrists in the evening and just loving it. I've read quite a few reviews about how "common" this perfume is. I believe it is a stayer and will be around as a classic firm favourite for decades to come. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, long may we enjoy her journey <3 EDIT: On reviewing, I suspect it is actually one of the middle notes I don't like, possibly Tahitian Vetiver? I'd be interested to know if others have experienced this too. So annoying because I usually love vetiver and other musky aromas.

I really enjoy this fragrance. Its basically the same scent as the eau de parfum. Its sweet in a grown up way thats the only way I can think to define it. It isnt a teenage candy sweetness but more so a citrusy floral sweetness I think its also similar in a way to chanel chance eau vive both have very forward citrusy notes. I like to wear this one to day events it makes me feel like a nepo baby lol.I would recommend as its inoffensive, sweet and charming. Edit: I still really love this perfume I love the smell of the projection its amazingly sweet however the dry down is really bad, the good thing is I can only smell the dry down if I put my wrist close up to my nose. It smells funky like an armpit with no deodorant. I think its the patchouli. Regardless I will still wear this but only spray it on my clothes because it could just be my skin chemistry not meshing well with it. It also really doesn't last very long at all 2 hours max on skin, on clothes I can get 4 hours but for the hefty price that's not the best. I have cheaper EDTs that last longer. Im still a sucker for this perfume so I will repurchase. I say this all to be 100% honest but don't let this deter you from trying it out because it is a really gorgeous scent.

If I have to pick up just one perfume in the world, it will be Coco Mademoiselle. So wonderfully blended citruses (sweet orange and tangy grapefruit) and amazing rose over patchouli base. Patchouli here doesn't smell dirty and heavy, not even earthy, just heavenly woody and a bit sweet. I'm not into citrusy scents, and patchouli is usually not my thing, but Coco Mademoiselle somehow not just make it right, it makes it perfect. It was the first Chanel perfume I fell in love with and still holds the first place in my perfume wardrobe. Coco Mademoiselle is sooo me, so wonderfully complements my body chemistry! I always feel beautiful when I wear Coco Mademoiselle, like beauty is shining from inside of me, amplified by the scent. I wear it with formal attire, with cocktail dresses, even with jeans and T shirt. Coco Mademoiselle is so well mannered that fits any situation and any time. I have edp too and I like it a lot, but edp is a tad sweeter, a bit less sparkling than edt. It's like edt is elegant, witty and bright lady in her 30es, while edp is her elder sister or her mother - same DNA, same beauty, just an idea calmer and more mature. If I have to describe Coco Mademoiselle with just one word it would be irreplaceable.

A scent that participates in my life since it came out, the reformulation thing, yes absolutely, they did it, a couple of times I'm sure, but to our great luck Chanel does it, as with everything, a little more elegant than others, I'm looking at you Gucci - when these guys take something from a perfume they don't leave much else. So yes this is still beautiful, amazingly beautiful in my opinion. When I say it participates, I mean that I didn't always have it myself, it is simply a perfume that a mothers friend, my friend, a professor, a lovely lady you meet at the grocers has. It is a masterpiece of a concoction Chanel was able to create with all the Misses, in the case of the edt a super duper well blended, creamy, silky, fresh juice. When I reapply this midday at work (I reapply almost everything :D) my colleague closes his eyes and waits till the wave of pleasure reaches his desk and then closes his eyes. I use it only in the warmer weather, because of the gourmand blood that runs through my veins, but in general this is all year, all day. Although peeps, try everything on your skin, we are all individuals.

sweet sugary vanilla, sweet grapefruit/vanilla, sweet oranges/vanilla. at about 10 min sweet flowers/patchouli pop out. patchouli/musks get stronger at about 1 hour. 2 hours in the sweet sugary vanilla with fruits is significantly weaker but there are beautiful wafts of fruity florally vanillas. at three hours it the wafts of fruit/floral/vanilla seemed to get stronger. the patchouli and vetiver and vanilla were strongest during the 5-8 hour marks. still got wafts of sweetness though. i was left with a vanilla/grapefruit skin scent at the "end" which lasts until i shower. on clothing/fabric it lasts forever i think. i sprayed it on a little cotton round so long ago i forgot, it has been weeks though i'm sure, it still smells of vanilla and vetiver ( i think. it's kinda chocolaty/musty but in a good way) whatever it is it still smells very good after all this time. i only need ONE DROP per arm, i slowly push on the sprayer and when one drop pops out i touch it to my arm! otherwise it's too much of a good thing. i love it! the EDT is sugary sweet while the EDP is syrupy sweet.

I keep on comparing CM Edt to edp. I normally buy edp but I had it and it wasn't special or even more to say, it was making me tired. Like - dislike relation. I decided to buy Edt. I must say that it's magic. As far as I always prefer deeper scents, this is what I was searching for in CM edp, miss dior edp, miss dior edt for years. It's like the perfect balance between all of those. It makes me like Mille line even though, because of popularity, I didn't want to like it. Edp is more intense in the beginning but it's Edt which stays longer and sweeter on my skin. I will update about the sillage etc because at the moment my nose is a bit confused with all those Mille experiments. Edt gives me an inspiration and makes me happy while edp didn't do that for me. UPDATE: I just wore it yesterday and there came man to me to ask what perfume I had on. I had to write it down so he could buy for his wife. I told the story a while later to my coworker and he said, a bit for a joke, aw yeah, the grammy scent. Conclusion : people love it or not, it does have a good sillage. I'm happy

Now that I've gotten my new bottle, and am currently re-obsessed, I thought I'd post a review. I do feel there's a difference between the edp and edt, namely the fruity aspect. The lichti is most prominent, followed by the citrus and a heavier dose of vanilla. Less patchouli, vetiver and rose to my nose. I normally have trouble wearing fruity scents, but because of how damn fabulous Chanel is, I still feel like myself in this, and not like some teenager. The citrus doesn't feel sharp to me, not at all. Honestly the edp has much more bite on my skin! Much more bergamot and patchouli, then the sexy vetiver finish in the edp ;) Overall, I adore both concentrations of Coco Mademoiselle. Ideally the edt is my springtime/summertime signature. Now that I have a new 100 ml bottle, I will spray freely and not feel the need to conserve! Weeeeeee My boyfriend actually commented on this one, which I was very surprised at, as I've always considered Coco Mad. to be a less likable scent with its woody, sharp edges -- but that seems to be what works best on my skin! YUM

Though it might be a perfume worn by massive amounts of people, this perfume is unique to me in it's composition and finer facets. Similar fragrances I smelled had unpleasant edges or something dirty about them I didn't care for. This is elegant and refined. Just Chanel. I get, if someone has enough of something they smell everywhere. That hasn't happened to me, so I'm still happy with Mademoiselle. And let's be honest, something that's loved by the masses must at least have some redeeming qualities. To me Coco Mademoiselle belongs into the category "timeless masterpiece". The sillage is strong for a while, then fades, just like the fragrance itself within a good four hours. After that it will still linger on your skin with some basic components, still pleasant, but not "whole" anymore. For an EdT, that's quite acceptable to me. When refreshing it I use less than when first applying, to keep it from becoming too loud and kind of aftershavey, which I think can happen with any fragrance. A love for me.

This perfume has really conquered me, I find it very special, radiant and alluring, it stands out from the usual fragrances all very similar, based on patchouli and citrus notes.The persistence is really high, just a few vaporizations are enough to be wrapped in this wonderful bouquet for the whole day , without being excessive or annoying. The bottle design is minimal but refined and elegant, A fresh and feminine, iconic and inimitable fragrance. Fresher and lighter than the EDP, I find Coco Mademoiselle EDT a delicious scent. A floral and citrusy, fresh and bubbly, on a warm, enveloping, spicy base. A multi-faceted perfume, where class and femininity prevail. On my skin the sweet notes never take over, so the fragrance never becomes cloying, even after few hours. A little spray is really enough to take it with you all day. I wear it mostly in Spring, while I prefer the EDP for the colder months. Always attracts compliments from ladies and gents.

I love this perfume. there is something so nostalgic about this, because it was my last year of school and they had launched Carolina Herrera Carolina. I never got to buy that version, and years later I found Chanel Mademoiselle EDT. It was a great surprise, because it reminded me so much of that Carolina. And my teen years, of course. It is a fresher version of the EDP, I like it better, because the citrusy mixes well with the patchouli. And I get the scent all through the day. I smell strawberries, somehow, and citrusy like grapefruit and oranges. then the patchouli and vanilla. But it is not that type of scent that offends with the patchouli, I think it is safe for work and it lifts me up every time I smell it. It tones down the "mature"air that comes in the EDP version. longevity 7-10hs, sillage is moderate. I really like this one., I wear it to shake things up when I don't feel like it's my day. Well done!

This is the scent I end up wearing the most, it's fresh and clean, I find I can wear it in pretty much every season, if I'm not sure what to wear this is my go to fragrance! Sharp and elegant, it lasts quite a lot on me which I wasn't expecting at all, thought with time it sits closer and closer to the skin but I can definitely smell it after 6+ hours. This is the only scent that I've nearly finished, the 50ml bottle is more than halfway empty, my sister also frequently uses this but if it was only used by me I'm sure I would have reached the middle quite soon anyway! I'd recommend this to someone looking for a clean scent that's not too generic, it may be just a bit sharp at first spray and also be careful of how much you spray on, don't underestimate the power of this edt as it could go from bright to blinding neon with that one extra spritz.

This is my second review of this gorgeous perfume. I made a hasty judgment that Coco Mademoiselle is only a spring and summer scent, but now that it is passing from autumn to winter in the Southern Hemisphere I can confirm without a doubt that the cooler months really bring out the beauty, richness and depth of this perfume. The patchouli and vanilla take centre stage and I just adore it. I initially had Coco Mademoiselle as my signature scent, then went on a rampant binge of expanding my horizons with other perfume houses, Guerlain, Oscar de La Renta, Rochas and other Chanel scents. I have come back full circle and fallen in love with Coco Mad again. She's a perfect creature and definitely a stayer in my wardrobe. I guess I had to go looking elsewhere before realising I always had a beauty patiently waiting for me.

I like it! This is difficult for me to review because I'm not the best at picking out all the notes and this one has a lot going on. I like the EDT as the EDP is a bit too strong for me. Upon first spray, I get a rose that settles quite quickly into citrus, floral patchy and then the vanilla/musk notes emerge at the end. I can't believe how much I like this fragrance because I do not like rose - at all. But this is rose done right and I'm a believer. This feels sophisticated and yes, grown up but in a good way! I love the drydown. I'm still slowly feeling/smelling my way through the Chanels ... and this is the first one that really spoke to me. None of the Chanels smell good to me from the bottle. You definitely need to try Mademoiselle on your skin to enjoy the creamy goodness at the end!

This fragrance is lighter and more wearable like many reviews have said. I've found it to be a bit sweater and less serious. It sprays out a fine mist and has moderate sillage. It won't knock someone out, unlike its eau de parfum counterpart. I enjoy the drydown of the edt more than the edp because it isn't cloying and remains faithful to its oriental theme. Although I love both the edp and edt, I love them the most together; they compliment each other perfectly. This is one of my favorite scents, despite it being hugely popular. I've become quite familiarized with all of the mainstream perfumes as an avid perfume collector, and I must add that anything coco mademoiselle is worth the price. The scent is luxurious, unique, and long-lasting. It's recognizable and definitely iconic.

I adore Coco Mademoiselle and of course I love this EDT as well, lighter, less citrusy and a bit more wearable than the beautiful EDP. Just received a big bottle of this EDT for Valentine's Day. It's fresh, light, spicy, a gorgeous floral, subtle yet longlasting, very classy and feminine. Different from all the gourmand-fruity-sugary scents around. This is perfection: CLASS IN A BOTTLE. I use this along with the EDP (a spritz of EDP on my nape and a spritz of EDT on my chest, wrists and behind my ears). I think they work perfectly together, the EDT is lively, spicier and fresher whereas the EDP adds intensity, especially in the beautiful sweet and spicy drydown. The EDT lasts for days on clothes. Perfect for warmer months, you can wear it all year round though. SUBLIME!

I am late to the game with this fragrance. I am an avid collector of many styles of frags but this one I assumed would smell generic (based on what I had read). Since I already own tons of bottles that I consider generic safe office perfumes, I didn't want to take a chance. Years into collecting I bought a bottle on ebay. IT IS STUNNING. I cannot believe I have been missing out for so long on this beauty. This is like a long-lasting freshie! Long lasting for citrus fresh that is. This is the summer frag I have been looking for all along. Truly a work of art. I heard that the EDP is vastly different than the edt. I still have not taken the plunge on the EDP. I think I will stop while I'm ahead as I was not impressed very much by ANY of the Chance flankers.

I must admit this one is my favourite among all the Coco Mademoiselle offerings. Light and delicious, even more versatile and easier to wear, it is the OG but airier and fruitier - probably due to the litchi. I like to reapply it as it performs like a correct EDT, and I use it in the daytime when the weather is nice. This EDT is perfect for running errands, school/university/library, home office or the gym. Nothing complicated but still interesting! Coco Mademoiselle, being an iconic perfume for more than 20 years and made by an iconic brand, there is nothing much to add; apart from that the EDT is the less concentrated/diluted version of the OG; it is easy, uplifting, citrusy, very Chanel but not too much and adorable. The bottle is stunning!

My go-to scent for spring. I have had this one for many years and I keep repurchasing them. Elegant and fresh, filled with creamy patchouli, a bit spicy with a bit of vanilla and subtle rose. It's a very young scent but not girly. I think any woman can wear it for simple days. It doesn't have a wow-effect if that's what you are looking for, but so far I haven't found anything like this (although some have compared it to Carven Le Parfum which I also have - no resemblance to me). I have one question though. I have been buying this for many years and been keeping all of my bottles. The bottles have changed. The white top is supposed to be champagne coloured and sparkly. But has anyone noticed a change in the scent? Or am I just going coo-coo?

I've been wearing Chanel Coco Mad EDT for about a year now. The opening is a blast of all things citrus, bright, loud, in your face, and yes - even screechy. I love it. I find it fresh and invigorating in a more refined and complex way then I'd get from a cologne. This version wears very well on me - 8 hours plus. It's a versatile workhorse in my collection, I can wear it winter, spring and fall, day or night. I'm a modest sprayer, so I'm never overwhelmed by th patch running in the background. It's bright and cheerful and elegant. There is a similar vibe between this and Miss Dior, the older versions. If you enjoy one, the other would be a rather safe blind buy in my opinion.

Often finding the EDP to be a bit too short lived, I decided to give this a test today. It is a bit short lived, much like the edp, but I much prefer this. I don't think this fragrance was ever meant to be overly strong, more softly elegant whereas the wafts you occasionally get are beautiful in their lightness, rather than stronger. I just sprayed one spray on the back of my hand but hours later, I get soft little reminders. I don't really need to describe this, but I can say that I don't think there's anything bad about it. The EDP could be a bit indolic and cloying ... this never is and I really appreciate that. Hope to buy at one point. Edit: I got a 50mL. Nice :)

I adore this perfume. I was denying it for so long though. despite the fact that it's a great perfume, it became way too common. It is almost an indication of bad taste and lack of imagination to use it... or so I thought. Yesterday I bought it. I was not planning it, very emotional purchase! I cannot oppose it's appeal anymore. Coco Mademoiselle (especially the EDT version) blends so well with the skin. It feels very luxurious and seductive. At the same time, it is very easy to wear, it becomes part of your skin smell. I love wearing it in the summer when it's hot - patchouli and citrus become pronounced but not aggressive. Just beautiful.

I blindly bought this one and initially I didn't like it. I'ts just not my type of perfume, or so I though back then. I stored it and once macerated I started wearing it to some occasions, specially at work as I feel is not so strong or cloying. I didn't notice when I got almost to the end of my bottle! And I loved it. Fresh, clean, discreetly sweet but no gourmand. Like a demure young lady! I guess that's the vibe I go for when I wear it. Would I buy it again? Maybe, if I find it in special price, but honestly prefer to discover new fragances, as my favorite fragance is gone from this earth already :( (Chloe Narcisse 1992)

I've been wearing this perfume since high school (graduated 2005) and I still wear it to this day. This is a top favorite of mine. It smells absolutely heavenly and people always compliment me when I wear it. I know that this is one of those popular perfumes that so many women wear, so it is not really unique anymore, but who cares. I owned the EDP before and like the toilette spray better. This seems to be a common thing for me. I think I find the EDP too strong and intense, and this is the same smell just toned down a notch with a bit more of a fresh feel. Excellent longevity. I will never be without this one 😍😍

This is inextricably linked to a memory of me, as a 22 year old, buying this "big girl" perfume for myself with my first salaried job. That is what CM EDT is to me: ladylike, aspirational, young (but not juvenile - would wear beautifully on an adult woman of any age). A cloud of this perfume felt like a protective bubble of cleanliness and luxury from my sweaty, stinky NYC subway commute every morning. Today, nearly 10 years later, I wear CM EDT for occasions when I want to appear polished and feminine: think job interview, wedding guest, meeting your boyfriend's parents. This is a lovely, timeless scent.

I own the EDP - tested it, loved it, bought it, wore it a few times, and found it to be just a little bit too much for me... I think the fragrance is beautiful, but I just couldn't wear it. I tested the EDT and find it to be much more wearable. It has the same spirit as the original, but it is just slightly lighter. That's not to say weaker. As always, the quality of the fragrance is top notch. Coco Mad EDT is a bit fresher, and I think wearable year round. If anyone wants to swap, I have an almost full bottle of the EDP and would love to trade for the EDT :)

This EDT was instant LOVE for me as it came out in 2002. I bought my first bottle right after I have smelled it in a magazine and I have had it in my perfume closet as a staple ever since. It followed me through my high school and college years and now my working life, I just simply cannot get enough of it. When the EDP came out, I also had it once, but unfortunately it is too strong for my liking and it does not develop the citric freshness that the EDT does on my skin, so I never got it again. But the EDT is definitely one of my all time favourite scents.

I love the eau de toilette version on my skin, it is sweeter and lighter and it makes me fall in love with this scent! But.. i have now been wearing it for almost 2 years, trying to make it my signature but I think I have to give it up, even though i have been wearing it for such a long time it just dont smell like "me"! And I NEVER get compliments on it! So.. i think a have to let it go even though i love the smell, on other women, that is.. i think I will keep the bottle, just to try it on now and the, Sometimes I really crave it!

Mademoiselle has been my go-to basically since it came out. I have purchased the EDT over and over so when I had some extra coin I bought the EDP- They are NOT the same. Something about the EDP just doesn't have the warm spiciness the EDT has, in my opinion. I've always been under the impression that the Parfume is better quality than the Toilette for any fragrance, and that may be, but I'm about to put my bottle of edp on Mercari. I don't know why I LOVE one (I could bathe in it) and the "higher quality" one is just forgettable.

I prefer the EDT version of Coco Mademoiselle over the EDP formulation, as I in general prefer brighter, softer and more subtle fragrances. Even though you've smelled it everywhere on pretty much everyone, it's still lovely and elevated beyond just a nice floral. I also enjoy how it's not as sweet as other extremely popular perfumes like La Vie Est Belle or a ton of other super sweet florals. I can wear this one pretty much anywhere and everywhere, and it makes me feel positive and confident.

My new favorite! I adore younger fruity scents but hate how they don't last long or smell too manufactured/chemically. This is a very classy scent and a good one to graduate to in your 30s as it gives you the fresh fruit smell you love, lasts long, and has many many layers! I can't smell the patchouly on me at all. More of a spicy fresh cold orange. I prefer this way better than the EDP. This EDT is more citrusy, more fresh, while the EDP is more powdery/musky with a more mature dry down.

Honestly, love at first smell. This is my all time favorite scent, and the only reason I don't wear it every day is because I want to ration what I have left. I love the mix of citrus and floral because it gives me a fun, spring-like vibe, not to mention the perfect way the vanilla balances out the top notes. To try and give you an idea if you've never smelled this before, think if spring and summer combined to make a scent that's fresh and cute yet stunning and delicate. 30/10.

Gosh, this perfume is one of my favorites. I have worn it for orchestra concerts throughout high school and special occasions onwards. I had taken this from my mom as she never used it much and I can't figure out why. There's something about it that captivates me, despite the comments I get of me smelling like an older lady when I wear it. The opening citrus notes are beautiful and the dry down into particularly white musk and vetiver is just as beautiful to me.

Not much different than the original, just slightly easier, brighter, but at the same time it lasts for a shorter time. Coco Mademoiselle overall seems to be more orange-pathcouli (sweet, fruity, zesty patchouli) than floral-patchouli forward. For a fruitchouli perfume this smells quite light. Already a classic, this scent is so very well recognizable and inspires some nostalgic feelings. Seems to be a good perfume all year round, all occasions.

Coco Mademoiselle edt was my first Chanel fragrance back in 2005-2006.I loved it.My sister loved it also.After a while I gifted to her.Then I bought the Edp version ).But. ..for me the EDT it's better...it has something it's sparkling ,clean ,sexy ,expensive classy,easy to wear perfect for all ocasions.It makes u feel good.Everyone loved it! I still love Coco Made After all this time...both..EDP and EDT.a Classic ❤️

Beautiful fragrance, can be worn year round and even in warm weather. Fresher, lighter and more wearable than the edp formulation which I also own, but which can be somewhat cloying. Longevity on my skin is great, it can get me through the day although after an hour of 5 it becomes more of a skin scent. Hadn't wore it for a while and really craved it, so just applied it after my shower. Love it!

Such a beautiful, classy scent! I love this so much but I hate how overworn this is.. Everybody wears it or has a friend/mum/aunt/ex who wears it. And I don't want to smell like everybody else. This would be my signature scent if it wasn't this popular. But, ofcourse, there's a reason why this scent is so popular. It's perfect. Perfect balance of earthy patchouli and bright orange. Beautiful.

This has been my favourite perfume for years! It's absolutely beautiful. It's much softer and more delicate than the EDP, which is great because most Chanel perfumes tend to be too bold for my taste. This one starts off with a perfect mix of patchouli and citrus, then dries down into a smooth blend of vanilla, floral, and musk. An amazing scent, I recommend everyone sniff it at least once.

To me Mademoiselle edt smells like sex. Not in a dirty animalic way though. It is about lusting after someone, a scent of a body during a foreplay while it starts to smell too sweaty. Indian summer time is perfect for mademoiselle - it needs a little bit of the sun to show all its complexity... Overall, a very classy, polished yet youthful scent from the house. Love.

The bottle leaves a lot to be desired, but this is seriously so much better than the EDP version in my eyes. The EDP was so strong, and whenever I wore Coco Mademoiselle EDP, I would gas out others. The EDT version is lighter, fresher, and far more beautiful. Chanel is one of my favorite houses for women's perfumes, so props to them for creating this EDT version.

Citrus, elegant patchouly, a hint of vanilla. I also noted some strawberry note , maybe? It performs MUCH better than the edp on my skin. It is an amazing fragrance, close to skin, cozy and simple. This really reminds me of Carolina Herrera Carolina, which was discontinued. Just more delicate. Lasting power : 8 h Sillage: low. Safe for work. Love it.

My mind is always changing as to which formula of Coco Mademoiselle I like best, but this EDT version is really giving me all I could ask of a perfume in the summer. CM EDT is citrusy clean, bright, elegant, easy-to-wear, a pinch sexy (just a tiny bit), and has longevity without being bothersome. It’s the easy to love variation, and I do love it.

A little more fresh and clearer than the original Coco Mademoiselle. I can sniff the grapefruit well, and the whole composition is lighter and not so dusty/heavy, contains less patch or just a brighter version of it. I choose it insted of the OG and waiting for the spring to use it. As the top notes faded, comes the juicy flowers so beautifully!

I adore this fragrance!!! It smells so sexy and feminine and works as both a daytime or nighttime parfume! The longevity is amazing, after just one spray on your skin it will last the entire day!!! This is one of the best fragrances of all time. This gorgeous EDT is divine layered with its body lotion. I prefer the EDT to the EDP because it's lighter, fresher, and a bit less citrusy in the opening with the same beautiful warm, spicy and slightly sweet drydown. Extremely sophisticated and feminine. Masterpiece. 10/10.

Absolutely in love with this fragrance. The refreshing grapefruit here is such a win. It's both refined and lighthearted. The patchouli takes over in heat, and the citruses sparkle in mild temperatures, but become extremely sharp and spicy in the cold. Best in mild temperatures.

I love this Perfume, when she wears this perfume I wear chanel egoiste platinium. I feel it shares the vibe, classic, sexy and this sends me to a field of flowers. I love it and recommend it. I can still smell it after 8 hours, skin scent but it’s there and is so inviting.
