Coco Mademoiselle Hair Mist

A really great way to enter into the world of CCM I have had my bottle for about 10 years - yes I don't use it much - but it has not gone bad. Better than ever, actually. I have used this on skin, on clothing and yes, my hair. I find it to be a little more oily and it subsequently lasts quite a while. A wonderful way to explore CCM without buying a full bottle of the EDP. This hair mist in my opinion is as similar to the EDP you will get. If your considering buying a bottle of the EDT because you want to get CCM in your collection because it's the cheaper option - I suggest you go with the hair mist instead.

Very good for a hair mist. Long lasting with good sillage. Warm, sensual and soft-spicy. I can’t imagine how anyone could find this anything but inviting. The most popular of feminine Chanel scent for a reason. And so very affordable and accessible. Excellent product, enjoying the aroma from my (short) hair as we speak <3

It is so juicy yet a beautiful rose with elegant, green background. On my hair it is not detectable by me, but occasionally I catch it in the air.

I bought this on a whim after I received the Coco Mad soap as a gift. I wasn't ready to commit to the full CM experience so settled for the hair mist. I therefore can't really comment on how it relates to other versions of CM except that the sweet patchouli note for which CM is famous is certainly present. The first spritz is a cacophony of all the notes presented together. I like all the notes but enjoy CM the most when the citrus and floral notes melt away and I am left with a languid patchouli accord that lasts ages. The hair mist lasts on me just fine. I spritzed it on my forearm this morning at about 11.00 and it's still noticeable at 4.30. I do use it my hair but I have short hair so can't swish it about as I would if I had lovely long locks. (Do please note that if you are hoping for an alcohol-free product to spray in your hair, this is not it. Alcohol is the very first ingredient listed on the box. Buyer beware.) Sillage is only moderate but I'm fine with that. Experimenting, I've discovered that ONLY applying the hair mist to my hair does produce a noticeable but subtle trail. That's a good thing. Over-applied, CM can be tiresome. Summary: definitely worth a go. An inexpensive gateway to the the world of Coco Mademoiselle.

A fancy smell for an enchanting summer evening! Lasts for long hours on hair. I only use it for special occasions.

This is a very weak version of the original Coco Mademoiselle fragrance. Doesn't last at all. I mostly used it in the summer since I don't like a strong lingering scent in hot weather, but this one is just SO WEAK. It doesn't last at all. Not even for an hour, and I sprayed decent amount on my hair. Waste of money. Might as well just spray once the original EDP on the hair, at least that will last much longer.

Got it as a gift. Used as a perfume. Dislike it a lot (Mademoiselle in general). Genuine bottle, from duty free. Love Chanel, but dislike Mademoiselle with passion. This is my useless review LOL

I have the Edp and bought this for whatever reason. It doesn't do anything for me, I don't know what I was thinking, in fact it sits on your hair and this more shallow version interferes with the depth of the Edp if you use both at the same time. It also contains alcohol which I forgot to check when I bought it. My advice is: don't compromise, save your bucks for the Edp.

It is a great product indeed. I also used it on my skin as well and I used it up quickly but given it's half the price of the eau de parfum, I recommend it if you're on a budget. Also the pre-2014 EDP made me sneeze after application so I had to gave it away (to a happy friend :) ). I had no such problem with the hair mist and its scent is very close to the EDP.

I use this like a body mist, it smells just like the EDP and is very strong and lasts a long time. Some years ago I felt everyone was using Coco Mademoiselle so I kept it for special occasions. But to me it is a beautiful, uplifting, sparkling fragrance to be used anytime, anywhere.

Now I wonder what is the difference between this hair mist and new Coco mademoiselle Eau Privée in terms of scent, longevity & sillage now that is seems Eau Privée has such a poor longevity ? (not talking about the zero alcohol factor)

i actually use this in place of the edt as its really beautiful crisp ,i enjoy wearing it more then the edt or the edp there is a new one that just got released recently as this particular one has been around for over a decade now

It is just perfect! and I wear it everyday not just spraying it on my hair, I spray it on my skin too. It is much nicer than the eu due perfume and I get a lot of compliments!!

Not a fan of chanel, but this one is tolerable. Strong for a hair mist, sweet and spicy. I would have used it as a regular perfume. In my opinion better then the EdP.

Very happy to see all the hair perfumes listed on Fragrantica, the Dior's and the Chanel's too !
