Coco Mademoiselle L'Eau

This beauty has exactly the same notes as the Privee version but w/ added bergamot. The Privee doesnt have bergamot according to Fragrantica. This is so soft and feminine. A very toned down jasmine and patchouli (not listed for some reason) but it does have a touch of patch. Absolutely stunning!!!

I love this scent! It cost a small fortune but worth every cent. It's Mademoiselle but a much softer version. No heavy patch and more like a body spray. Lasts about 4+ hours so great for a night out imo. It's really very soft and sensual, and can be worn on many occasions. Day/evening

Gorgeous and light. Pretty and feminine. It really is a subtle fresh lingering smell and it lasts all day. Just shake this and spray and you will smell divine from morning till night. Worth the money and talking of money at £38.00 for 100ml you can't go wrong. Feminine and sexy.

I prefer this version over the EdP. It’s much softer and lighter version without the patchouli. I use it all year round as a deodorant. It’s perfect for daily use.

It is simply beautiful, suitable for all ages and all seasons.

While I generally find Coco Mademoiselle fine to wear year around, on the hottest, most humid days sometimes the EdP is a bit much. I would normally wear the EdT on such days, but I like the composition of L'Eau even better for summer. The patchouli is essentially non-existent, except in a ghostly form that might be my nose playing tricks on me due to familiarity with the original composition. This one is fruitier, most noticeably orange, which sometimes turns a bit spicy, but I get some peach and litchi as well. Though there's a floral heart, I find it less rosy than other versions of Coco Mademoiselle. Compared to l'Eau Privée, l'Eau is fruitier with a lot less musk, and bright and energetic while l'Eau Privée is fluffy and cozy. I really do like this flanker, but it's the weakest one by far, even more than l'Eau Privée. I've worn it to work and it's mostly gone by lunchtime. Wearing it with the shower gel that was released at the same time doesn't really improve the longevity. I'd love it if Chanel were to release this composition in a more long-lasting format, even an EdT. In the meantime I'll enjoy this during the summer.

Upon initial spray, you will definitely be reminded of Coco Mademoiselle, but in lighter, almost pastel-y/watercolor shades. The sprayer is nice; the juice feels sticky as if you had applied aloe gel on your skin. As for the smell, the patchouli has been toned down several notches, and the rose and jasmine have been amplified. There is a citrus opening that only lasts faintly. Smells effervescent, and on me, it sits very close to skin. Projection and sillage are low; this is probably meant to be the "day" version of Coco Mademoiselle L'eau Prive. I'm personally not a fan of the bottle, as it does not fit with the aesthetics of current Chanel... the bottle is opaque and you cannot see through to know how much juice is left (not even with a flashlight). If this projected farther and had better longevity, I truly believe this would have been a more successful "flanker". It is lovely nonetheless - a soft and tender version of Coco Mademoiselle. This version is not set out to conquer as the original and Intense are; this one is the morning after the fun.

I just received my bottle of CM L'eau and absolutely adore the scent. It's light and lovely. The patchouli and vanilla have been toned way down and on my skin, I detect a hint of lily-of-the-valley and a bit more powder overall. There are no sharp edges to this scent, unlike CM parfum, which I also wear, along with CM Intense and Coco Noir. I purchased this juice to wear on those hot, sticky days or to carry with me for a quick fragrance refresh. The sillage is low, which is unfortunate as the actual scent is different enough to stand on it's own. I found the initial spray carried a bit of creamy citrus, lily-of-the-valley and powder in addition to the signature CM rose/jasmine combination.This mist is very fleeting. I sprayed it on an hour ago, it's 91 degrees and humid and the scent was completely gone in under 30 minutes. I was hoping for much bigger sillage. I applaud the House of Chanel for creating yet another gorgeous fragrance. No points for the bottle. I hope this makes it to a full fledged parfum by Olivier Polge, it would be a "Stunner"!

A nice light pretty scent which is idea for summer with a scent that sparks of fresh and delicate fruit, With the heart of a sensual rose and jasmine accords with a musky backdrop. It is a nice and airy which makes it easy to evenly spray through your hair, clothes or skin. I combined mine with CoCo Mademioselle for I don't own the l'eau privee and they played well together. I left the room and came back 35 minutes later and the room smelled heavenly. It's not strong enough to use alone unless you just want a very light scent for a close room setting or just to lift your spirts. It lasted for a few hours with a nice projection. It's a mist and works just like you would expect one to perform.

A lovely floral scent that’s just a little bit lighter than Coco Mademosielle. I wear this when I don’t want to overdo it in the summertime. Unfortunately I have only found it once and it was never to be seen again which is a pity as it was affordable and it is good value and fortunately I have still a lot left in my bottle despite using it a great deal over the summer months. I wish all the fragrance houses would do something like this every summer. It’s a great way to try a fragrance without blowing out your budget and enjoy a lighter version of something you have been wanting to try...

I had to give this a whirl. My came from Nordstrom’s in the US as it’s been sold out at Chanel. I was really hoping for a bright patchouli free fragrance, stronger than the fleeting L’Eau Privee. This was pretty close to perfect for me, but it still retains something in the dry drown that just doesn’t work on my skin. It’s stunning on clothes however. The canister has a lovely long mist sort of sprayer, and although I prefer Chanel glass bottles, it’s nicer than I expected from the pictures. It’s bright citrus and rose, really similar to the body oil or opening of the EDP... it’s both softer and brighter somehow, and less potent that the EDP or EDT. It’s definitely stronger and longer lasting than the L’Eau Privee. The wear time is 3-4 hours on me and it’s lovely in the heat. I agree with the reviewer who described it as a watercolor interpretation - but it’s a bright watercolor, no pastels or washed out images. It’s sunny and happy but more sheer than the OG. If I had to rank them from my most favorite to least favorite of the Coco Mad line, here’s my list: 1. EDP Intense 2. Pure Parfum 3. L’Eau 4. Body Oil 5. EDP OG 6. L’Eau Privee 7. EDT Hope this helps someone!

The start is truly like water. Like water after washing Coco Mademoiselle Intense's tank, evolving into water after washing Coco Mademoiselle classic's tank. It is very musky, and even not too pretty with my nose close to it but it is building a lightweight Coco Mademoisellish aura that receives compliments. The closest relative out of Coco Mademoiselle family to the scent of L'Eau is Coco Mademoiselle body balm. As for its summer function, even in the highest heat this is refreshing. With wear orange and bergamot are starting to be the most prominent. It has intimate sillage. Less sillage than Miss Dior Body Mist or J'Adore Pafrum d'Eau. It lasts around 5 hours and is pretty on the wind like everything that resembles Coco Mademoiselle. But I like this the least of the line.

To my nose, this is an airy, somewhat sweeter and fresher version w/ amped citrus and flowers but, make no mistake, it still has some patchouli...lovely for summer.

Can they just re-release this? I am hoping they will do so, it’s perfect for us who love a more subtle scent. Love the easiness of the white can spray too!
