My first meeting with Chantal Thomas. I have never been attracted by their bottles with "skirts". I came across this novelty and this is a beautiful one. I decided to test it, but I couldn’t find any decanters nowhere. Well another blind buy and BINGO. 211 is a warm pink pullover! I feel all listed notes here. How cute it is! There is nothing superfluous here, it is not overloaded by notes, it is almost whispers. I was initially afraid that the 211 would shout at me and I would say goodbye to it. Ambergris gives sweetness and warm, rose is bitter here, and lychee gives freshness. During the entire duration of the sound, the scent does not change and sounds completely NOT loud. It is a casual scent and will suit any mood. A few hours later, 211 is still with me, warm fruity ambergris is playing more solo here. There is nothing special in this fragrance, it lacks some kind of zest (I probably shouldn't have looked for a niche in the luxe here) BUT, nevertheless, the scent is pleasant, very pleasant and it seems to me that it will satisfy many tastes. It definitely sounds more expensive than I paid for it. The bottle itself deserves special words! It is much more beautiful than in the pictures. Looks gorgeous! High-quality glass, shiny, such a gradient sputtering, the lid made of high-quality plastic fits perfect. I definitely get the tresor comparisons here. I wasn't sure what to expect, looking at the notes I was expecting a high end benzoin and a turkish delight feel from the rose and lychee. This is not that at all. It's definitely more of a designer than a niche scent to me, not to say it's not lovely. But it's interesting how these notes listed, in my mind are so much different than presented here. This is super fruity, but not lychee specific could be any tart fruit really. The base note is a warm sweetness. Not getting much rose at all. More of a fruity vanilla.

This is one of my TK Maxx finds from a few months back. A lovely gentle rose vanilla. I wore it yesterday and was suddenly taken back to another time in my life then it dawned on me, it was very similar to Very Irresistible which I used to wear a good 20 years' ago. Perhaps not quite as strong but definitely that direction.

Wow, it has been a very long time since Chantal Thomass launched a fragrance, the original is one of my favorites. I still have it and treasure it because it's hard to find.
