Le Jasmin

This is a really powerful and heady jasmine. The first notes are slightly sweeter than I expected, more mimosa at first, but then the jasmine builds. Sillage is huge and longevity good, but I found this very overpowering. I'm not a great fan of white florals and found this very headache inducing. It might have been better tamed a little with more honeysuckle, but the jasmine and magnolia are very loud. Or maybe if the ylang-ylang was a little more dominant, that might have made it a little smoother. The oakmoss and amber didn't really come through on me. After about an hour the white floral dissipates somewhat, but its still enduring. I can appreciate the quality of this, but its not one I would wear.

This is the most beautiful flower scent I have. It is indescribable, just pure heaven to my nose I literally swoon. When I smell this on others I feel like chasing them! It's kind of champagne and flowers, just very luxurious and full bodied, a dry/sweetly pungent Jasmin not like Annick Goutal at all, it encompasses a romantic, opulent ethereal style, majorly feminine in a super modern way. I feel very sophisticated and sexy in this scent. I love it, great silage and lasting power.

If you love night blooming jasmine, and I do, you will LOVE this. It is heady and full and delicate at the same time. There are hints of honeysuckle but not much - and I don't smell any tuberose or gardenia! It has great staying power, 8+ hours. Very sexy, very femine.
