Good fragrance with a great opening that made me say "wow" to myself, when I first tried it. Smells like a classy east meets west oud. It starts leaning more east as it gets closer to the drydown. Oud becomes pungent and borderline sour before becoming centered. Finish is a smoked lanbanum/wood/amber on my skin. Solid fragrance overall. Scent 7/10 Performance 7/10 P.S. I'm not into batch conspiracies, but when I first tried this in October of 2020, it was stronger and smelled better.

Smells a lot like Kalimantan. Both are very elegant, upscale, deeply resinous, and woody. These are for night wear, it just calls for it. I imagine a sophisticated outing wearing this. Luckily, the oud here is very soft, I smell very little of it, so if you want a beginner's oud, this would be one of those to try. Sometimes, it has a pencil shavings nuance, but that is overpowered by the resins (thankfully).
