Love Frequency

I am a nose (perfumer) and I absolutely adore this perfume. The perfumer is simply clever!! It has a buzz, a frequency bought on by a clever formulation. Its frequency lasts all day long and well into the night, without being overwhelming. Well done Anne Flipo. Love Frequency carries a salt note that makes the Ambroxan, etc sparkle for an extraordinarily long time. It really is hard to get a fragrance to sparkle with salt for so long. Salt is all about sex. Sex smells salty. This fragrance makes a person smell like sex. Some people are more interested in people who smell like sex. Other people are more interested in smelling like 'they need sex' by having perfumes that are very loud. Both attract different sort of people. Whether a man or woman wears this fragrance, they are subliminally stating that they don't need to try hard to attract anybody. They already 'have what it takes' and frequently!! This in itself attracts!!! LOL.

Unfortunately rose fragrances somehow do not agree with me, but luckily this one does! I think this is a very cool woody rose fragrance. When I first smelled it I got very strong Tom Ford vibes, on the other hand it is a lot more affordable. The only issue I have with this fragrance is that it disappears quite fast, so I always have to reapply it throughout the day, but I am OK with it. It is not my primary fragrance, but I do enjoy it, and the 10 ml version is perfect for those days when I am in the mood for a little rose. The woody notes make it very special. I think I will get a full bottle of Joyphoria from this line and not this, but I appreciate it. As soon as this collection came out TF and I were over, I am sorry. This line is a lot more affordable and lasts longer.

This was my first floral perfume and at first I didn't quite understand this fresh spicy rose composition, but now I very much do <3 It smells so clean and elegant, as if you just got out of the shower on a sunny summer morning, and there is a big rose bouquet in the room you are walking in. Aquatic, feminine, sweet and musky. Soooooooooo good This is also my boyfriend's absolute favorite, and the only perfume (out of the many) that he would compliment EVERY single time I use it. So maybe it's not just marketing about the boosting emotions formula lol Amazing longevity 💕 I def need a lifetime supply of this perfume

One of the best things I've smelled. Its just a gorgeous rose to my nose. Like an elixir of english roses bottled up with a hint of pepper. I find this to be quite a strong fragrance but it is not screechy or headachey by any means. I really enjoy for all occasions, it is the perfect modern and fresh rose fragrance, not too green, not too powdery, not too old fashioned. It is a proper perfume perfume, it doesn't feel like a body spray or very light as some rose perfumes do, I find it to be pretty unique; not too fresh, not too heavy or dark. Very very lovely.

This fragrance is rosy, sexy, and musky—it smells absolutely stunning. While oud isn't listed as a note, there's something in it that gives me that impression. I can also detect the saffron, which adds a delightful touch. I was so in love with this scent that I purchased the full bottle after sampling it in the discovery set. It exudes luxurious, feminine Arabian perfume vibes. The rose note here is sweet, which is perfect if that's your preference.

Oriental rosey mossy patchouli... its a frequency... a vibe... either you love it or you dont.. there is no in between. It reminds me of all the fragrances I love ( dior midnight poison ... yes a bit) perles laliques, roses musk, kayali pink diamond sweet pepper... its girly feminine but with an intriguing twist.... I happen to love this frequency 😌

I typically cannot stand frags that are primarily Rose scented. But this one is a stunner. It’s blended just right. This and Aerin - Rose de Grasse Joyful Bloom are the perfect Rose scents and the only ones I can stand. I’ll definitely be buying a bottle of this. It’s truly beautiful and very feminine.

Haven’t stopped thinking about this scent since I tried it in store It’s such a seductive feminine scent that reminds me of something I’ve tried before, Arabians Tonka maybe? Definitely less rough than that. Not a grassy fresh rose, not powdery or too woody either. Just a fantastic blend

Joyful, incredibly pleasant rose perfume. At the opening, a deeper, spicy, almost slightly camphoraceous note shyly tickled me, giving the composition a fuller and more complex sound. They lasted quite a while and received many compliments from my husband.

This honestly blew my mind. When I first tested this at the mall it immediately pleased me alot. This smells like a sensual rose, woody, musky scent. This is perfect for a special occasion. I love the longevity and projection on this as well.

I am pleasantly surprised by this scent. It’s very complex, sweet and musky but nowhere near basic. Beautiful opening with strong rose and musk notes. It’s powdery and very girly. When it comes to longevity I think it’s pretty long lasting!

This is the second best smelling fragrance I have ever smelled it's so flirty and yet the undertone of the pink peppercorn gives its a spicy note that's perfectly unisex. It's what I imagine Elle Woods would wear in legally blonde.

Just got a sample of this, I can see the similarity with Perles De Lalique and Moschino Toy Boy. This is quite light though. Very clean peppery rose water. I consider it unisex and would totally wear it as a guy. I like it!

A strong sensual rosey all rounder, it lasts all day on me and dries down into a sexy, powdery but still rosey scent. Might upgrade one day to a full sized bottle once my 10ml is done. Love it!

Very complemented, lasting, sophisticated. I don't think I would ever try them judging by the bottle 😉 But a free sample fully convinced me to buy the whole bottle🤩

It’s rosey, oily, Smokey, a bit heavy, but stunning!!! 😍 my second favorite from Charlotte. Sexy too!! Must have.

On my skin- Starts off a lovely sweeter rose, initially and after a bit as the middle notes. Wish it would stay there. Dries down further to a very masculine smell. Too masculine for me personally. It doesn't surprise me with the base notes. On my clothes- Starts off smelling like a papermill. A dark oily rancid fish manure smell. Definitely not a good one for me. But then dries down into a nicer sweeter rose more like the initial spray on my skin that I wish would stay. On paper- Smells like black olives for a long time. Dries down a little more concentrated-rose-water-y. The paper is staying at an olivey smell. Clothes and skin unfortunately are staying at a gross dirty armpit smell. Like you were at a hot sweaty concert, and a man did put deodorant on at the start of his day but now has been dancing and sweating so much that it's past time to reapply and then he gives you a hug before you leave, and now you're in the car on the way home and keep getting a whiff of where his armpit rubbed up on your shoulder.

I got a sample of this and was excited to try because someone here had compared it to Stella which I love. I can see some similarities in that it's a musky rose but this leans a little bit masculine compared to Stella. It's woody and smells better in the cold office than in a warm room where I found the musk to be overwhelming. It's definitely rosey but more of a potpourri rose than a fresh rose. Because this is so musky I'm tempted to layer a sweet vanilla oil with it to see if that makes it better. I'm also considering layering it with Tom Ford Ombre Leather which might balance it out. For fresh, sweet rose I prefer Lancome La Vie Est Belle Rose Extraordinaire.

Got a 10ml in a bundle with lipgloss. This is really not bad, but IMO not great either. The longer it stays on the skin the better it gets. Slightly peppery rosetchouli with a heavy woody base. Long lasting for sure. I would have preferred if the musk could have been a tad more prominent and the wood a little less. But it's still very ok. The rose note remains strong throughout. It's a decent enough winter scent, but definitely not for any other season. I can see myself using this every now and then, but I doubt I'll ever want more than this 10ml.

It smells similar to Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper but this one has a cleaner smell. The drydown kinda reminds me of Annabel's Birthday Cake by Marissa Zappas. They both have like this soapy soft sweet scent. Its definitely more of a Barbie kid's makeup rose smell which is my favorite rose smell lol. It's mysterious and girly. I would get this but I already have the two perfumes it reminds me of.

Smells mysterious and expensive. If you're looking for a fresh dewy rose, this is not it. But if you like the dry spicy rose, you should try it. It is definitely oriental (think of Dubai) but not chokingly heavy. I get mostly amber, saffron, and rose. It has a similar backbone to Arabian Tonka and Atomic Rose, but by no means they are the same. It's probably my favorite from the entire line.

Slightly spicy rose with underlying hints of patchouli, musk, and cashmere. A bit soapy. Feminine and fun, but not really remarkable - especially for the price. There are other rose scents I prefer (LI Dom Rosa, Commodity Velvet, PDM Delina, etc), but this is my favourite of the CT fragrances. Projection and longevity are reasonable. Would work all year round as a daytime scent.

I had the 10ml of this and it honestly exceeded my expectations. It was a beautiful. sweet and clean rose- very, very simple but sometimes that's just what you want. I will say that there are probably many perfumes that smell close to this and it is nothing special in the grand scheme of things, but it's a nice peppery rose and as a rose lover you can not go wrong with this.

Good and clean yet basic rose scent. Okay longevity and radiation. Wearable for many occasions, not excentric and definitely a crowd pleaser. Available in small format (10ml). I think there's better rose fragrances out there but this one gets the job done and doesn't smell cheap.

For me this is like a cheaper and less refined version of Chanel-Paris-Paris. Not as elegant but still a great rose perfume if you are into more mature rose scents. If you are a freshly cut or a jammy delicious rose kind of person, this might not be it for you.

Invigorating pepper notes burst through a crisp and unsweetened rose. There’s a sprinkling of lemon peels, a dry bar of soap, and a dry wood in the distance. I find this unisex and low to moderate in performance. Cold weather swallows it, in my experience.

That’s a fresh peppery rose with sweeter base, but I feel like something is a bit imbalanced here: the rose itself is quite jammy and sour and it doesn’t go well with the other sweeter and spicier notes imho.

As a rose lover, this is a wonderful fragrance! But my issue is that it’s not unique enough to justify buying a full bottle as expensive as it is, even if I find the bottle design very pretty :)

Nothing extraordinary, your typical spicy rose - I get rose, saffron and some resins. A little herbal, a little vintage. It’s neutral enough to be liked by many, but it doesn’t stand out.

This is simple and pretty. Pretty confused by the bad rep it gets. It's fairly similar to Eladaria or Rosario to my nose or even a cleaner Up At Dawn. Very rose water-like.

woody rose water, thats how i would describe it, a little musk a little spice, very balanced and pleasant, i usually like a more gothic rose scent but this is very nice

Spicy, sweet jammy rose scent. Is it something that unique? No, but if you are a fan of roses then I believe this is a fabulous option and you will still enjoy it

Lovely sweet musky rose! Not a dated rose in my book. Very powerful and long lasting too! You will have to enjoy sweet musk scents to appreciate this one I think.

As soon as you spray it, it smells exactly like Brut deodorant spray (green shiny bottle) that everyone's dad seems to have, I'm really not sure how nobody else has drawn that connection. Thankfully it does evolve into... wait for it.... a plain normal every day rose that is totally unoriginal and not unique at all!!! Yes, the rose is good but too generic and I'm rather unimpressed with this. I already own Rose D'Amalfi by Tom Ford, Fleur Royale by Kayali and Peut-Etre by Lancome which is my favourite Rose scent. To compare it, it's less spicy/potent than Rose D'Amalfi, it's less floral-like than Peut-Etre but overall it's just plain sad. It really is a basic rose scent mixed with Brut's Original deodorant (a strong spicy woody smell) which makes it not that pleasant. Ranked overall ok for the rose because it's tolerable once it settles but it's nothing special at all. However that's all it gets because the Brut comparison throws me off entirely.

I received a free sample of this perfume after completing a short quiz online. On first spray, you are hit with a blast of spicy pink pepper. As the perfume dries down, the rose begins to become apparent. I've worn this several times, and sometimes the rose leans potpourri and others it leans soapy (think those fancy soap roses that are in trays in guest bathrooms). I think this perfume also has a good bit of ambroxan, which gives it a slightly sharp woody dry down, and combined with the pink pepper, it stays relatively spicy throughout. I would describe this as a spicy, woody, floral rose. This is out of my normal scent profile, so I enjoyed trying it, but I didn't really like it that much, and I wouldn't pay $150/mL for it.

Upon first spray I have to say I was very delighted with how lovely this was, it smelled truly like a plucked pink rose. However as it dried down quickly the pink pepper really started to show up and it started to become almost a bit hard to smell because it made my nose feel scratchy. I think this is a nice scent but not one that really sticks out to me compared to other rose scents I’ve smelled. The pepper came in and make it a bit overwhelming and gave it a bit of a generic scent profile. If the saffron was more forward and the pepper was toned down I think this scent would definetly be more of a choice for me.

Opening is a bright watery rose, with a honey like note, and fresh leathery notes in the back. Amazing projection and longevity, yet not cloying. Very rose forward, upon the first spray I wanted a bottle immediately, however I found that after wearing it a couples of times, I got annoyed of the rose note — so I’m looking for another perfume from this line. It also reminds me a lot of Montale Crazy In Love which I already have. __________ Projection, sillage, longevity : 8,5/10 Originality, presentation : 6/10 Quality, value : 5,5/10 6,5/10

If this was half the cost, I'd say it was a superb perfume for the cost...unfortunately it's not. What you have here is the blueprint for making a solid rose perfume with some lasting power between the pepper,patchouli and woods. To give the scent a compliment, it does smell fairly natural and last relatively well. If you could get 50ml for about £50, I might suggest this as a good scent for a girl going off to uni....but at the price Ms.Tilbury wants just get some montale.

Dried rose petals in a pepper grinder, that you found the back of your great great grandmother's wardrobe; a sort of a tarted-up potpourri - Love Frequency has a little more longevity and sillage than the other CT fragrances I've tried, but sadly that's a low bar. Can only recommend if your favourite notes happen to be 'sharp, papery rose' and 'slightly clove-y pepper'. I love CTs' makeup but these were a disappointment to me, especially at this kind of price point.

I really wanted to like this, but I am very underwhelmed. To my nose this smells like a gazillion others that have rose and woods, and honestly I'm getting really tired of that combo. It was great when it was a newer trend, but now everyone is doing it and it smells generic to me. Just boring woody rose. I'm very glad that all I got was a sample vial, I would have been very depressed if I blind bought the full size.

It's good. I like it, and so does my husband. But its just...basic? Like not unpleasant at all, but it doesn't have great sillage or longevity and it's pretty expensive to be just ok. This to me smells like every girl after middle school gym class. It's giving Victoria's Secret, and if you like that, great! It probably won't offend anyone. Personally though, I just need more.

This is a very strong projecting and long lasting perfume. It is a very well blended rose with woody notes. I don’t personally like woody notes, so I gave my sample to a coworker. I could smell the perfume on her all over our office. I think if you like a fresh rose with a hint of powder and smooth woods, this one would be great for you. I’m

A distinctly 'meh' fragrance from this range by Charlotte Tilbury. It smelled very generic and does not command the high price tag. It had decent longevity and moderate sillage. I love a rose 'dirtied up' with patchouli, but there are so many perfumes that do it better than this.

Not a fan of roses, and that’s what this is. I got nose-blind to this quickly, which I didn’t for other perfumes I sample. I got this sample in a Sephora sample kit.

Too peppery, almost overpowering. A two-note blast of pepper and rose. I received this as a gift so I'm not too attached to it.

Almost identical to Stella McCartney fragrance, but this is less longevity and performance. simply it is Woody rose water.

not unpleasant, but very uninteresting and redundant. nothing new, just another ultra common scent in a new bottle. 🤷🏻♀️
