Ponant

It reminds me of the Lancome Tresor era. It's the most wearable patchouli EVER and the peach is so juice. Love it.

Yes, I agree with Action, Ponant is in the Angel 'family'. I quite like this one, am wearing it today and am pleasantly surprised as I've never been keen on Angel. I think perhaps my beloved patchouli is more noticeable in Ponant, rather than being strangely murdered like it is in Angel. Altogether, Ponant is lighter and more wearable than Angel for me. It's a keeper, yay!

Ponant, ...the sun setting in the west. This Charrier scent is a neglected gem, with an openng both richly delicious and intriguingly complex. Of course, it is too far down the perfume hierarchy to ever get any respect, ...but I'm enjoying it. First noticeable is an accord like vanillic amber,with unlisted spice notes, perhaps cardamon and cinnamon? ....but soon, it is joined by the main event: a fruitchouli, ...happily loud, but not deafening. Later a powderiness in the drydown becomes more prominent. I need to reemphasize the spiced amber here. Why is it not listed?? ...except for vanilla, ...and in a way, the caramel note, ...but no chocolate at all. This sweet spiciness is what makes Ponant most different from other similar scents. I'll admit such raucous fruitchouli fragrances can be an acquired taste. Even I more often marvel at them in wonder, than I fully apply them to wear. ...but if you are a fan of scents like Rush, Rasha, or even TF Black Orchid, you might want to try this rather obscure and unsung pleasure.
