Rain Tea

One of my favorite things. It's so simply beautiful, sweet, refreshing, energizing, and just lovely. I feel like a better person when I wear this perfume. The honey and tea are so realistic. I get some jasmine as well, but that could be the chrysanthemum and acacia? I don't know what those smell like, whoops. And the RAIN! This perfume has gotten closer to perfecting the rain note than any other I've smelled, and it is absolutely beautiful. I wore this around my boyfriend for the first time a little while ago and he actually said I smell like tea and the rain outside. I told him the name of the perfume and we jumped up and down. It's a very delicate fragrance that still lasts for hours, and is very detectable while still being unobtrusive. Such a happy, lovely, simple scent that wears perfectly. I wear it all the time and always when it rains.

I was on the hunt for the perfect realistic tea scent so I sampled chasing scents Rain Tea, Tea Service, Wulong Cha, One Day’s Osmanthus Tea, and Nomad Tea. I ended up buying Nomad tea And Rain Tea. Rain tea is a realistic cup of warm tea sweetened with honey. It’s not too sweet imo. It sits close to the skin but is long lasting. Tea service was much brighter/sharper on first smell and spicier. Rain tea smelled more like a simple cup of tea to me, which I liked and stays a true cup of tea from first spray to dry down. Nomad tea, by contrast, is a cold crisp cup of sweet mint tea. Wulong Cha does not smell like tea at all (not a fan of this one) and Osmanthus tea is a nice white floral but tea is not the star.

This is so unbelievably delicate and beautiful. Chamomile, honey, and white tea with a good dose of warm almost nutty barley. I adore perfumes that feel like the last warm days of summer, and this captures that liminal feeling beautifully. It's quite herbal and has a hint of bitterness which balances out the sweetness of the honey nicely. I'm usually not a fan of honey scents as they can become cloying, but this one is kept in check. It really does smell like tea in the absolute best way and even has a lovely atmospheric edge. Golden, fuzzy, and brings an immediate smile to my face.

A honeyed tea scent with some earthy and herbal accords. Opens with a freshly herbal floral blend and hints of spice that quickly becomes that very handed honeyed tea. The rain notes add a damp musky air to the background of the scent that feels reminiscent of a rainy day. The tea is a gorgeously aromatic note like a freshly brewed cup, in your hand as you outlook a window in a reading nook and it rains outside. The dry down is a bit drier with that barley, has a hint of tartness from the longan berries, and is overall a cozy honey forward tea scent with some earthiness to it.

The opening is soft and floral with a strong hit of honey. It’s warm, steamy, and a little polleny. I get dried chamomile, white tea leaves, and a bit of hay. I’m honestly addicted to it. This would be perfect to wear on a rainy day when you want to feel cozy and comforted. Even though the honey stands out, it’s not cloying or overly sweet like some reviews suggest. It’s really well balanced. 9/10: I love honey fragrances, and this one is just right. I’d love to have a full bottle.

I was surprised by how sweet it was in the opening! Herbal tea drizzled with honey, and while nothing about the scent screamed ‘rainwater’, it’s more of a humid mist after a tropical summer rain. After around five hours, a hay-like quality persists that I think comes from the chrysanthemum. I wasn’t familiar with it but grew to love it as time went on :)

Chrysanthemum and chamomile are made even more golden and fuzzy by a blanket of honey and longan fruit. In the drydown the honey momentarily grows sweeter, even a bit sticky, before settling down to a fine dusting. Worth seeking out for lovers of herbal chamomile or those looking for a naturalistic warm honey note. Another love from Chasing Scents!

Reminds me of the iced chrysanthemum tea I get in Chinatown and pretty much any iced tea you can get from any Gong Cha/Sharetea place except, it's more atmospheric yet earthy at the same time. Delicate and well balanced, I don't think this is as sweet as others say it is. A must try if you love tea.

Lovely, sweet honey tea scent. Transports me to drinking tea in a Chinese restaurant on a weekend and having a good bowl of a sweet dessert soup. I don't get very strong rain aspects but it is still wonderful as a sweet and comforting scent.

Wow!! Ordered a sample of this randomly to complete an order, never heard of this brand. No expectations. This is amazing! Smells like linden tea with honey. It’s fairly unique to my nose. I really like it and will probably get a bottle.

my hunt for the best tea fragrance may have found an early winner. smells just like a cup of tea. green, herbal, floral and sweet. aybe a bit too sweet, but still much, much better in that regard compared to Tea Service.

Smells like the canned Yeoh's Chrysanthemum tea that I often had as a kid, or the Indonesian fragrant bottled jasmine tea "Teh Botol Sosro". Very pleasant smell, not too overpowering, slightly leans feminine.

This is the first fragrance I’ve smelled that smells nearly exactly like a cup of tea with honey. All others have citrus notes that push the tea to the background. I love this!

My olfactory journey with this one went... * Blast of bitter tea leaves on the opening, chamomile or earl grey * There is an overarching sweetness (the honey), but not sickly sweet at all. * This truly smells like a cold, wet tea shop * I’m unsure if I like it on myself? It smells quite vegetal, almost a bit like celery. It really does have an amazing dark academia energy, but I think if a whole sweater smelled like this you’d think it was left wet too long or something. * It definitely sweetens as it fades. And it really does smell so uniquely good, it smells intelligent. * 1-2 hours in and still noticeable on wrist! Smells wet, tea, grassy. Overall - it’s pretty amazing how much it truly smells like a cup of tea with honey. If that's what you want to smell like - here it is! I'd like to give this scent another try on a crisper day in the fall or a rainy day. It wasn't right for a hot summer day at all.

Rain Tea. Thats the scent. It’s realistic and gentle but powerful. It’s really refreshing and a hint sweet, but very herbal and aromatic. It almost has a smell like a lychee jelly or a fruity mochi kinda of creaminess. I’m unsure which notes are combining to make this scent pop out to my nose but I can almost smell a light and fresh juniper in here. It’s very nice. Not something I need in my collection but I will love this sample until it’s gone. I would say this is a very safe blind buy for you or your friend who loves herbal or clean, cozy tea smelling scents.

i'm not good at identifying notes in fragrances, so i'm not entirely sure what this smells like but i do know i don't get much of a tea scent. nevertheless, it's a great perfume and i love it! sweet and floral but a bit aromatic as well. it does smell somewhat like rain to me though less like rain and more like a rainy day. it is sweet and cozy. not a favorite, but i do like it enough to buy a decent sized decant of it!

i adore how herbal this scent is! the chamomile is prominent and i love the rain note! it smells like having a warm cup of tea on a rainy spring day cuddled up in clean sheets. the longevity of this scent on my skin is also insane! i think this is one of the longest lasting fragrances i've ever tested. sprayed it almost 24 hours ago and i can still smell sweet herbals on my skin.

super refreshing to find a tea scent that stands out from any others that i’ve tried, and that doesn’t have any citrus! this is a nice chamomile + white tea perfume, with sweet honey that doesn’t smell “off” or animalic. this really is a photorealistic tea scent to me, while still being very wearable. this is suitable for all seasons, especially fall and spring imo

Super intense honey and chamomile, especially for the first 2 hours. After that initial intensity dies down, the tea becomes gentler and you can pick up the earthy, damp petrichor notes. Really, really nice, I wish the drydown wasn’t this gentle and faded, the sillage for the middle notes is a little intimate, but I really enjoy this regardless
