Sunrise on LaSalle

Loose fluttering floral meets very oxygenated green essence. The juicy fruit note didn't come on until the mid for my skin, but when it did it really smelled lovely. Nothing pushing it toward sweet, it is dry but lively. Got about 5 hours of soft projection, still on skin after that for another 1-2 hours. Really great release from an emergent house. Wonderful for spring. Unisex with a feminine lean. I wore it as a male and felt great with it on.

This is supposed to smell like a flower market? The only flower I sense is a washed out geranium.

Shawn Maher is a good perfumer in the barbershop genre. Sunrise on LaSalle smells like the name. I sprayed it and envisioned watching the sunrise/sunset at a make believe place. This is the first fragrance that the pear is actually pronounced. Sunrise on LaSalle is also an herbal fragrance. If you're a fan of Pineward Perfumes, you should check out this house. Yes, now that someone else mentioned, it does remind me of a flower market. Unisex, although I feel like a woman would appreciate Sunrise on LaSalle more. Lost Valley is also a decent summer scent released in 2025 not listed, but it seems like Shawn Maher gave up listing on Fragrantica.

A sweet, dainty geranium-pear that is far too delicate and polite for me and mine... I can't fault it, if you're into these softly-spoken, statement making 'femme' scents, this is right up your alley, but it just didn't do enough weird for me to take it seriously. It does come across as quite mainstream and 'designer' with it's appeal, so just because I don't love it doesn't mean you won't. But I gotta say, it was a bit of a shock for me! I was hoping there would be a bit of stank in the end...

mainly a geranium scent with a hint of tea and a citrus quality and a hint of sweet pear but not a typical fruity pear scent; leans herbal and a little powdery and a little nose tickling with some aldehydes
