Fleurs de Tabac

This perfume is beautiful I received a set of samples of the brand and this one is outstanding. I didn’t like the other ones. It is so comfy warm, sweet, the tobacoo in here is so smooth vanillic not dark or scratchy at all. Bright, clean, floral but not too much, It is elegant powdery, leaning feminin in my opinion. I can smell some orange and caramel and something candied, beautiful I want à full bottle 🥰🥰

Really nice woody powdery scent that besides being an interpretation of a classic scent, it's timeless.

Lovely woody, ambery, floral aldehyde in the mold of Bois des Iles. At the open, I smell mostly the expected floral bouquet of ylang ylang, jasmine, and a bit of rose. For me, the accord seems to lean towards the banana-acetone smell of benzyl acetate. From there, it settles into a warm and cuddly mixture of vanilla, sandalwood, and coumarin. Perhaps within that woody chord there is some vetiver, but it doesn't stand out for me the way it does in Bois des Iles. This is surely perfectly lovely, though in evoking Bois des Iles, it brings to mind the perfection of that scent--or at least my preference for it. I will cherish and wear my sample eagerly.

Opens like sweet balsamic jelly baby sweets, and the underlying creamy spectre of a vanilla, tonka and custard accord which gets stronger in the heart. If you're expecting bold tobacco be prepared for disappointment the tobacco accord is very much a ill-defined creamy part of the balmy fuzz created by the base. In essence this is a quality perfume and I really love the audacious confection of the opening five minutes or so, then the prominence of sandalwood you can really smell that for a while there too working with the vanillic theme of the whole thing. It's cohesive and well made perfume but it doesn't stir a great deal in me. If you like this sort of thing, particularly classy stuff from Guerlain or similar then I'd recommend giving it a sniff.

a classic "Lakmé", old-school mix of rose and jasmin on a creamy balmy base. It smell like a draft without sparks or a bit cheap maybe or just the fact that others brands have done better since a long time. All the richness of old-school bases of the same type like N°5, Habanita, Arpège,...is here resumed in some mainstream white musk and (bad) fake sandalwood. it's strange than Luc and Sophie Gabriel, founders of the brand ar also the founders of The Different Company. For me the perfumes have the same problem, as good as they are if diluted like that you just have something boring and forgettable. But here they dare sell that under the Extrait de Parfum concentration indication...this brand is definitively a scam.
