Lovers In Pink

I love this! To give a simple idea of what this smells like, it sits somewhere in between between MFK's BR540 and A La Rose. Or maybe Cheirosa 68 too. It's a bit more complex than just that though, as the citrus and ginger here give that BR540esque base a bit more edge. The rose and peony make this absolutely worthy of its name, and very pink. The result is absolutely intoxicating, addictive, and is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I can't get enough of this in the late spring/early summer, but it seems to me this is wearable year-round. A word of warning however: I got the 15ml version, not realizing this is their "Touch" format. Basically it's a giant dabber. I prefer spraying, so decanted it into a spray bottle. The weird system their Touch bottle uses makes it incredibly tedious to decant. I wish they would offer a 30ml spray bottle. Edit: 1 month later, I've actually fallen in love with the Touch format. Sure, I still enjoy spraying, but I used the touch bottle for travel and found the application experience surprisingly pleasant, and causes no loss of projection of the fragrance.

I've receives a samplepack from Cherigan, and this is the one, that so far, appeals to me the most. Maybe, it's because to me, it smells a lot like Barrack Rouge 540? I've compared the notes, at it seems like they have jasmin and cedar in common.... Maybe that's why... But this is maybe more for daytime use as well, as I do not find it as overwhelming as Rouge 540. I love the sweetness, without it being too "flowery" or fresh. I also like, that it does not have that "ashy" hint.... I look forward to try it a couple of times more, maybe next week when going to a big party as well, to see how it makes me feel. But so far, I adore it. I find it sweet, feminine, "round" and comforting, and sexy too. I've bought a sample set from Cherigan with 6 different perfumes. The sample packages are a bit difficult, but so far, I'm looking forward to experience this, Edo park and Fleurs de tabac ;-)

This perfume is hypnotizing, I literally haven’t stopped smelling my shirt. It’s a captivating blend of juicy fruits and zesty citrus, delicately balanced with soft floral notes. Sweet, irresistible, and utterly addictive. I thought this perfume had notes of berries or some other sweet fruit and when I checked the notes I was confused. I googled what cassis is and it makes sense bc that’s a type of berry. I don’t really get fresh out of this perfume tbh, but more fruity and sweet. This is not like Fleur Narcotique. Fleur Narcotique is very heavy on the floral fresh aspect while this is fruity and sweet. The actually reminds me a fruitier version of Lust in Paradise instead. Update: The longevity on this is insane. 72+ hours and I can smell it on my clothes still. Such an underrated perfume.

It’s just beautiful! Zesty, tangy (ginger like) and deliciously sweet! I love how the Peony shows up in the middle of the fragrance evolution accompanied by the citrusy notes. Plus the Ginger. This fusion gives a vibrant/effervescent vibe to the scent. Apart from the feminine touch of those beautiful pink flowers involved. I must say it, it leans more towards the feminine side. Better than BR540, in essence and in performance, since it doesn’t have Saffron or Resins in its pyramid. This is actually a summer scent. It lasts and projects. I would recommend it to all shiny happy people out there!

Absolutely beautiful! A fresh, bright and citrusy fragrance. When i first sprayed it, i instantly got hit with lots of citrus notes, as it began to dry down though, i got a bit of spice and herbal notes from the ginger and the cassis. The dry down is more rose and peony forward, with some of the citrus from the opening still lingering. I do not see the similarities with BR540, although i do see the similarities with fleur narcotique. This is absolutely gorgeous and it lasts quite a while on the skin!

If the happiness had a scent, it would be this one

this perfume directly gives the idea of this brand I would say, using an old historical name to give character to a mainstream bad thing, here the Xth? copy of BKR. An aromachemical overdose of all kinds that they managed to make even more aggressive thanks to very acrid notes of ginger and peony (in plastic) . Why what is apparently designed to be a bestseller just makes me gag? It feels like having the spray of a bad deodorizer right in the nostril. They dare sell that under the Extrait de Parfum concentration indication...this brand is definitively a scam.

I love this! It was a nice surprise love from a sample in my Jovoy order. The atomizer didn’t work well so I couldn’t wear it on me so I sprayed it in the air and fell in love. I reentered the room 30 mins later and was like “what is that lovely smell” only to remember it was that fragrance. It lingered for quite some time. I immediately ordered a full bottle and now that I’ve had it for a few weeks, my feelings are the same as it was when I first smelled it. I’m in love with this scent! It’s so bright and uplifting. Men seem to love it as well as I’ve gotten many compliments by men on it last week when I wore it multiple days in a row. It’s also a great performing fragrance, so great it took me by surprise actually. I put this on 3 hours before bed the first night I got it and even when I woke up the next morning, it was still moderately wafting around me. Crazy! Great sillage and longevity. Now I’m really interested in trying more from this brand. Love the bottle too. It’s simple yet elegant.

A sweet and enveloping love, with the color pink in the background: the combination of flowers, currants and sparkling notes describes it perfectly. This is definitely in the realm of Greenwich Village: fruity and airy. Upon spraying I get a beautiful zesty, fruity cloud of pink. However, this uses aroma chemicals that I go nose blind to very quickly. My husband couldn’t smell me either; I asked him directly. On a tester strip and on clothing this radiates a strong sweetness all day. It’s gorgeous, but I want to be able to smell myself when I wear a scent. This makes me think of Sunset Hour with a dose of cotton candy. Lovers in Pink is a very sweet, fruity scent that will create a bubble around you, but you might not be able to smell it on yourself.

As soon as I sprayed Lovers in Pink, I immediately noticed the BR540 molecular musk, which was quickly joined by sweet, pink florals and candied fruits. It never disappears, though. The perfume which this reminds me of the most, is Bond No 9’s Greenwich Village. That one has a prominent lychee whereas Lovers in Pink is a little more unique with a green cassis that stays throughout the entire wear on skin. There is even a somewhat aquatic vibe here. This is not my kind of perfume, it’s a bit too contemporary Gen Z for me, but I have to admit it’s a lovely, über girly one in this scent family.

I imagine CEO Barbie would smell of this perfume and I love it. Its pink pink pink. I don't really get cassis or jasmine but I get peony, rose and I smell a kind of lychee sweetness. There's just enough in the base to give it some musky sophistication. It's happy and lighthearted and a little alluring. Also, very very similar to viva la juicy by juicy couture buy this blend doesn't have the plastic twang that viva la juicy has that always irked me. It's probably quite expensive for what it is but also, who cares, Barbie wouldn't.

This is what Fleur Narcotique wanted to be. Fresh, long-lasting peony fragrance! So easy, young and feminine! For me, this is really dream-come-true in fragrance because it stays on skin all day long, on clothes till you wash them and what you can smell is really those crisp peonies and citruses, not some heavy woods or musks as in many other long-lasting fragrances. I don't get BR540 comparison.

This smells similar to Burberry her, if you swap the strawberry for peony and add some citrus then voilá lovers in pink.
