Chipie

I got this scent for free with a subcription to a magazine for teenagegirls: Fancy, way back in 1996. I loved the scent. Especially the caramel about it. When I wore it, it made me feel like a real trendy girl and it was the perfect scent for 19 year old me. I forgot all about this scent. Untill today, my supervisor at work wore Bonbon by Victor and Rolf today, another scent that smells like delicious caramel. That reminded me of another caramel scent that I used to love: Chipie! I also loved the bottle, it was really distinct from all other perfume bottles and what I also loved about it, every size had it own shaped bottle! I see that people think that Moment de Bonheur and Quelque Notes D'Amour by Yves Rocher remind them of this scent, but I strongly disagree with that, for me the caramel defined this scent and there are no caramelnotes in either one of them. I don't like my Moment de Bonheur anymore, I find the opening too sharp and the scent too cold. I put my 50 ml for sale online, after I only used this bottle once, for € 15,-, while it is on sale now for € 33,-, 40% off at Yves Rocher, but unfortunately, nodbody is interested. I never really liked Quelque Notes D'Amour and I sold that bottle last month online for € 10,-, after I barely used it over a year. But they both miss the warmth and the sweet caramel of Chipie. Bonbon by Victor & Rolf, a high end scent, is the first fragrance ever that made me remember Chipie.

It was my first perfume that I loved. I had so many beautifull memories with this scent. I want it back!!! Please Coty give us Chipie back :)

I remember Chipie, that was my first love. But I found incanto shine (salvadore ferragamo) and moon sparkle (escada)

Chipie was great. Liquid candy floss. It smelled just lovely. I had Chipie Purple (Chipie plus EXTRA sugar) and Chipie Green (Chipie with slightly less sugar), too, and I loved them all.

If I remember it correctly it was discontinued around 2000. This fragrance was called Chipie Princess, there were also two other fragrances, Chipie Purple and Chipie Green.

This was my very first perfume. I miss it soo much. Chippie led with that sharp, almost aggressive green apple, not sophisticated fruit, just cold and clean and slightly synthetic in the way that felt glamorous when you were a teenager. There were softer fruits underneath, something warmer, but the apple note was the whole point. It was the smell of getting ready in a small bathroom, of your first proper going-out top. And it lasted. You'd catch it on your wrist hours later, walking home, and feel that particular teenage mix of confidence and mild anxiety that passed for a personality back then.

Can anyone remember the little heart shaped, soft capsules with perfume in? I'm sure it was called Chipie but I cannot find anything about it online. This sounds like it's either the same stuff in a bottle or at least the same brand. It definitely had a candy like smell to it, quite artificial but I loved it when I was about 11 or 12. I'm on the hunt to track it down for nostalgia's sake.

I still have some empty bottles of this + packaging. Great smell, sparkling, fresh and flowery. A real treat on a summer's day.

I had this in a body spray when i was 14. Would like to get another body spray for the memories, nice sweet smell.
