Cedrus Intense

Cedrus is a very nice fragrance, Cedrus Intense is signature worthy. From the moment I sprayed it on I could tell it has a lot more depth than the original Cedrus. It's warmer, woodier and more complex, a little greener and wetter, not nearly as airy and dry as the original. It's more fun. It also lasts a lot longer and projects more strongly. The long term dry-down is very coniferous. I can't sense any leather in this but the sandalwood is a lot more pronounced and there are very clear amber notes. It's still a wonderful, relatively fresh and clean office fragrance, but should not be oversprayed since I can see it giving some people headaches. I didn't even spray it on my clothes but a day later the smell can still be clearly felt from the tshirt I wore.

I have the original Cedrus (obsessed, wear it often) and I wanted to try this after seeing it at an airport. It's stunning. It reminds me of Santal 33. This lasts forever and honestly I don't really think it smells that much like the original (light, citrusy, mineral-y, clean); I get woods, amber, vetiver and leather most of all in this. It would absolutely deserve a place in my collection but I've already planned on purchasing Orpheon by Diptyque (I'm a sucker for the juniper note) and this would be very similar, and it's quite a bit more expensive than Diptyque. It's beautiful and 10/10; honestly this entire Atelier des Fleurs line did not disappoint.

Also, on what planet does this smell anything like Guidance??? EDIT ***ok ok a few hours later in the dry down I do get it, though I would say it reminds me more of Guidance 46. Very creamy sweet amber sandalwood base. As much as I love OG Guidance this comparison is ruining Cedrus Intense for me so will need to test longer before jumping on that FB. I hate Impadia and that kind of ruined 46 for me a bit as that sickly sweetness is comparable and I find it nauseating. Anyway, Cedrus Intense does not start as it means to go on. The opening and the dry down are quite different. This has been a wild ride.

So I LOVE the OG Cedrus.. but unfortunately it lasted maybe an hour on my skin and projection was super weak. But this! The intense.. it’s not as fresh as the OG but it’s sexier! I don’t smell the bergamot.. but I do pick up on rose slightly it goes really well with the leather. You get the same woody vibes in intense as you do in the OG. Over all I sold my OG and bought this and I am loving it! Lastly I find it to be a more suitable fragrance for cooler temperatures. I find if it’s hot out it tends to remind me of musky BO. So it’ll be in my cool temp rotation!

I have never liked woody, spicy, smokey scents but this has really blown my mind. It's not gormaund yet it's somehow delicious and I can't get enough of it. Its warm, spicy, woody, mature, slightly green. It makes me think of sitting by a crackling campfire with the feeling of the burn when drinking strong whiskey. None of it an appealing image to me yet somehow it still works. Edit: the longevity is insane i can still smell it after 24hrs

To me (and on my skin), Cedrus Intense is giving ethereal woodland/fairyland vibes and I love it. It's green, lush, and woody with a mystical hint of citrus. It feels sophisticated and elegant while also feeling grounded and earthy. It's inviting and alluring but also edgy in it's own right. It projects without being overbearing. Very on brand for Chloe and a stunning addition to my collection.

This is very nice. I can understand why some use Guidance as a reference but thank goodness, it isn’t a dupe. Guidance OG and I do not get along. Tho there aren’t any sweet notes, I find this to have a tiny bit of sweetness. This is a spa like fragrance. It’s Likable and inoffensive but if you don’t like woody/green, you may want to sample first

Beautiful, soft woody scent. Unisex. Dry down is reminiscent of Diptyque's Orpheon. I agree that it's different enough from the original Cedrus. If you're a woman who enjoys woody scents that aren't too masculine or barbershop, this is a beautiful evening-appropriate fragrance. Quite sexy too, mature but not stuffy

Wow, not at all what I was expecting and I love it! I saw woods and QB and thought it would be in the realm of Ganymeade but it's not. Something in the bright opening made me instantly think of childhood summers and southern hemisphere summer Christmas. Instant love. Getting a full bottle!

I like it a lot and I would definitely prefer this one over the original version. But I have to admit that it smells quite similar to all other recent releases by Quentin Bisch: beautiful clean and slightly spicy woods with radiant earthy (sort of ethereal) sillage 😈

Creamier and sweet version of the OG Cedrus. I love both. Extremely. When I want to a heavier, more complex version of Cedrus, I reach for this one. Usually when I know I'll be in a colder environment or during the evenings. Dries down to a very creamy sandalwood.

This is a bulk CHLOE review - quick note for myself on the 3 fragrance samples I had high hopes this summer: Plage du Figuier Vanilla Planafolia Cedrus /Cedrus Intense All of them are in the "nice" category, but none of them make me want to actually buy them.

This is a balanced blend of soft woods and greenness. Even if the notes show many woody notes, they don't really overpower anything; it's well-blended. It's clean, fresh, soft, definitely woody (at drydown) and reminds me of the color code #e6ffdc.

pretty versatile in my opinion, the opening is citrusy, almost smells like gin - dark greenish. in the dry down i can almost feel the caramel, but all in all the perfume keeps a stingy, pine-like profile. very refreshing!

This is gorgeous ! Woody and calming. I am not sure about longevity... I would love to purchase it but I question whether it’s worth it ... I am more into beast mode perfumes It remind me of Chanel Sycamore

The drydown of this is a more palatable guidance by amouage. I cant get on board with guidance but this one i like. Same perfumer too.

top notch quality and crazy sillage and projection “BISCH” is quality

Testing Cedrus Intense from a 1.2 ml Chloe official sample. Citrusy, green, fresh in the opening and warm, ambery sandalwood in the dry down. The opening is truly beautiful in the way that smells so zesty and uplifting, but it settles down into a very pleasant, likeable creamy, warm blend of sandalwood and cedar. I’m getting a slightly pickled undertone from this scent, but not in an overwhelming, unpleasant way. The fragrance smells absolutely amazing throughout all stages of development on skin, but it’s not a scent DNA that I would want to wear often enough to justify purchasing a bottle! It’s one of those perfumes where I can appreciate the craftsmanship that went into creating it, without having the urge to buy a bottle. It’s a very nicely done one, buttery sandalwood forward fragrance with a fresh spicy greenness lurking in the background until the scent disappears from skin. Has a moderate to long lasting presence on skin with noticeable sillage for the first hour. I assume that applied on clothing Cedrus Intense would perform better, like most scents do. Comfortably unisex, I would wear it! Gives me outdoorsy vibes, like walking in a forest or hiking on a mountain with lush vegetation!

This is a very fresh-woody fragrance. It smells fresh and slightly creamy woody (sandalwood) at the beginning it turns into a leathery rose but the rose here is not not sweet( I think fragrantica’s notes is missing the rose) at last it’s not a dirty leather its a very very clean leather like other Chloe fragrances they all have a clean DNA but not as soapy as other Chloe. I think I prefer the OG edp more it suits the concept of atelier de Fleurs more , more airy and clean it’s more versatile too. Not a bad release but the og is just too good

This smells like Italian sunny day. It is classy, expensive and fresh. Like spending your day outside drinking coffee near the coast and lemon trees. At first this is woody and cedar but after that it smells lemony and green. I thought I'd hate this one at first smell but in a multiverse, I see myself wearing this as I am the rich sassy aunt who is living her best life. I don't know if this was specific enough but this is how it made me feel.

Woody, green, fresh, spicy, clean, rosy, geranium, a little spicy. A little bit different from the typical Chloe fragrances, but still very feminine, pleasant, fresh.

btw this has the craziest silage in the Atelier de fluers collection... I can smell my fd 6 feet away

Cedrus Intense—warmth pressed into warmth, spice curling into cream. Vanilla, thick and sweet, made denser by woods that smolder with crackling depth and slight acidity. Cedar, yes, but not the crisp kind; this is richer, deeper, infused with an almost resinous glow. Like embers burning low, hot, hot, hot. The spice isn’t a sharp bite, more of a slow bloom—maybe nutmeg, a whisper of cardamom. It's dry, earthy, thankfully grounding all that sweetness before it collapses into itself. But in humid weather, all gets just a little too cloying, a strong cloak of warm air refusing to let out In the cold, though, I imagine it might melt just right, unfurling like the softest wool, spice sparking against the chill, cedar turning plush instead of oppressive. Akin to other intense flankers, this scent is very much built for frosted air and heavy knits, so in my foolishness here—here, I’m drowning in it. If only Singapore had the seasons to test it properly....

By chance my hand reached for this perfume. I sprayed it on a blotter, smelled it and was stunned, absolutely incredible, like something from another world. I thought, why not, and applied it on my skin, hair and clothes. You can definitely feel an oriental vibe. I live in an Eastern country, and I suppose the sandalwood revealed itself straight away. On the skin, the opening was very refined, and it reminded me of the scent of luxury hotel skincare products. The original version gave me the same association, which is why I didn’t apply it to my skin back then. After a while, the fragrance settled and became a bit flatter, but still pleasant. The opening is stunning. I still recommend testing it, as the first impression turned out to be misleading in my case.

This is nice, however I don't think I could wear this. I thought I’d prefer this over the OG due to the bergamot note, and I do absolutely love the opening, but the dry down I just don’t enjoy. I so wish the opening remained throughout. What a shame! Although there’s no cardamom listed in this, I can 100% smell it. Unfortunately it’s a note I can struggle with and in this I do find it nauseating. As nice as this scent is, it’s one I’ll have to pass on. I actually find the OG more wearable and lasts longer

Cedrus Intense has a sharp citurssy opening that is too akin to cleaning products for my liking. Thankfully, this soon subsides and gives way to a creamy aromatic woodsy base. This smells spa-like and zen, and reminiscent of the natural world. It is pleasant and unobtrusive and appropriate for most work environments. It just doesn't much feel like 'me.'

This one is deffinitely better than the original Cedrus, it doesn't have that strong pine toilet refreshener scent, it is much milder. Despite the "intense" it us also much weaker, I litterary can't smell anything after 15minutes. The performance is too weak to compromise the price tag.

Pickled and rose-y sandalwood. Not much more. Definitely not intense, rather mediocre performance. Scent profile would better fit colder months of the year, but it would probably not cut through the cold air. Boring.

I got a sample of the intense version and it smells like cat pee on me, even though I can wear the original Cedrus without any problem

Awful Bisch synthetics, aroma is also bad. How this can have 4.10 is out of my understanding.

This smells absolutely nothing like the original Cedrus. It smell very much like Amouage Purpose. That's how different they are. Night and day.

I so wanted to love this after hearing influencers speak of this fragrance as their "signature scent". I was intrigued. I got my hands on a sample and I am disappointed. It reminds me a little of cleaning products, but mostly it just smells generic to me. There isn't anything special or groundbreaking about it that makes me want to reach for it. It isn't a BAD smell. It's just not super unique or special, and considering this is marketed towards women, I honestly feel this leans a bit masculine. All in all, it's a no from me, mostly b/c I want my fragrances to make me FEEL something. This doesn't give me that experience. I give it a 6/10.

So I think between the two... Cedrus vs intense... I prefer the intense. This is really enjoyable and obvious woody scent. The other cedrus is brighter, slightly sparkly, powdery, a pinch of soapiness just like most other Chloe's in this line... and a little more fleeting. This one however is more bold, definitely more woody, just smoother and has more depth. I can actually pick up the cardamom and rose(!!) in this (which isn't listed on fragrantica) and it's absolutely stunning. Will need to test it a couple more times before deciding if it's full bottle worthy.

I own LV Fleur du Désert and Cedrus Intense, and to me they smell absolutely nothing alike. Not even remotely close to my nose. Cedrus is my favorite scent in my collection but Cedrus Intense has a note in it (I think it's the sandalwood note) that sometimes makes my stomach turn. That chemical sandalwood note is also found in Impadia and Guidance 46. I much prefer the original which is much brighter, cleaner smelling and more effervescent.

Very oriental sandalwoody. Nothing like the original which is fresh cool spices on crisp cedars .. This is little spice on warm ambers and big dose of sandalwood shifting the entire profile from fresh neat office friendly to autumn scent ..

Reminds me of a slightly fruitier Terre d'hermes Parfum. TdHP is drier. Both are flinty and woody-ambery, and feature a wonderful aldehydic orange-grapefruit opening. Not the same perfume but very similar vibe.

This perfume reminds me to Fleurs Desert by LV but in economic way. The leather scent lasts well on my wrist. If u in the mood of bold and rebel, this perfume suits well!

cloying and perfume-y. Sad because in store I loved the initial spray of the OG. This intense version is a scrubber.

The original Cedrus is much better. If you're sensitive to pickle-y sandalwood then avoid this perfume.
