Chloé Eau de Parfum Naturelle

When I was browsing at the store for a summer scent, this one stood out to me more than any of the others. Among all of the florals and gourmand and spicy scents, this is the only one that didn't blur together with all the others. I felt shamed by the clerk because she called it "granola" but I guess in a way that's what I was looking for: a scent that smells natural, comfortable, playful and adventurous. It smells like a nice hike. It's kinda spicy at the beginning. That's the kick of citron. The cedar base is there from the beginning and just gets stronger as it dries down. The heart's rose is not overstated. Blended with the cedar and neroli and mimosa, it almost feels creamy smooth. I work outside a lot so the cedar mixes with my sweat by the end of the day and smells like... I don't know, a healthy sense of adventure. I've been wearing this for about a month now and it took me a while to get the the point where I appreciate the depth of this scent. I can definitely see myself falling out of love with it if it ever mixes with my BO, I can see myself associating it with being sweaty and dirty. But for now, this is going to be my summer scent.

This perfume needs time to develop for the scent to show its velvety, yellow floral mimosa base. Mimosa is the star of the show in this one, so if you are expecting a heavy, intense rose you will be disappointed. Mimosa is powdery, soft, elegant, not something I experience in most modern perfumes I’ve sampled. I can detect a bit of soft, astringent roses growing on a bush, with an ozonic light spring shower scent. The citron is also very light, but I think that’s what keeps this from becoming a dish soap type of scent. The woodiness in the base also connects this scent back to nature and grounds it. This perfume is expertly blended, romantic, and perfect for daytime wear or a brunch date in the spring or a cool summer evening boating on a lake. If the original Chloe Edp is too screechy or intense for you (I enjoy it but sometimes it can be headache inducing if I don’t spray it lightly), give this one a try. Not a safe blind buy unless you are a mimosa lover and you want your scents to stay closer to the skin. I want to be able to draw my husband in for intimate moments and wear perfumes that he can snuggle into without sneezing.

Though it is a lot more expensive than the original edp I will probably get it for summer instead of the original. It is less powdery, less synthetic, a bit greener. Naturelle truly delivers. There is nothing synthetic in the scent. It feels very natural and will not bother anybody. However, as elegant as the rest of the Chloe fragrances. Moreover, it really stands out from all the other summer fragrances - it is truly unique scent. I think it will perform well in the heat and wouldnt probably have much sillage in a winter weather. It takes a lot to get me like a fragrance this much. Edit: I got myself a small bottle. Oh gosh. It smells like summer field by the cottage I used to go to as a small child. Sunny, natural, comforting, green. It is quite faint scent so I am looking forward to those hotter summer days for using it. It hurts my soul how expensive it is but really - worth every penny. It is my new favorite. I hope it wont get discontinued. It is amazing 😍

This perfume is so alike the discontinued See by Chloe, which used to be my signature scent. I am THRILLED! So, naturelle IS a bit screechy, but only for the first 5-10 minutes. It then calms down quite a bit and in the air I would say that it's 90% See by Chloe. Nose to skin it will smell more different, a bit more fresh. I have been craving See by Chloe and I am SO happy to have found this! Super pretty and feminine scent - floral and bright and works all seasons. Just like See by Chloe, it does not have a lot in common with the original Chloe Signature, even though they do share some notes. But I am sure they would layer beautifully together, I might actually try this since I also love and own the Chloe Signature.

This is so beautiful 🥹 A very natural and fresh honeyed rose shampoo scent. So feminine and delicately chic. I'm wondering if some of the negative reviews accidentally reviewed Rose Naturelle Intense, with the darker green ribbon. Because that one was a very spicy bowl of 90's rose potpourri, way too dark and dusty for my tastes. Edit: Bought a bottle, and after a week of wear, this has become my favorite perfume. If I had to have a signature scent, this would be it - hands down. Also, this is for waaaarmer weather, I sprayed it in 60 degree F and it did indeed smell like grass. In 80 F and up, it is very fresh and honey-like Little plus: it has elicited very sweet compliments from friends, male and female!

Wow! This frag really delivers, I was pleasantly surprised this random sample packed quite the punch. I suspect this frag can be quite polarizing on different skin chemistry's / climates. If you like heavier florals it's a must try. To my nose I get watery notes, not ocean water but babbling brook surrounded by moss. The mimosa sparkles through and everything gets a slight sweet edge. Citrus develops and gives this quite the body. I feel like this is what most generic florals miss, and this one nails. Finally The dry-down is sopping wet enormous rose. Quite the treat. I recommend sniffing the trail on this one and judging from there- arm sniffers are going to get smacked in the nose by this one!

I adore this perfume. It feels bright and carefree and lasts all day on my skin. Many of my favorite perfumes have citrus-rose notes and this scent fits nicely into my collection for when I want to feel optimistic (many of my other scents have more down-to-earth notes). I keep a decanted atomizer in my gym bag and wear it after my morning work out. The top notes hastily exit the scene and I'm left with the rose and neroli for hours. Honestly, I tested this one before I got to smell the original Chloe EDP. I recognize and appreciate the original Chloe's DNA in Naturelle, but I do think it smells synthetic compared to this lovely, fresh flanker.

I'm surprised at poor reviews on this one. To me it is so pretty. It is fresh and clean and green and bright. Perfect for spring weather, but I've also worn it several times this winter on a laid back weekend. It lasts a lot longer than I expected it to, especially on clothes. I have worn it to bed and still smelled it the next day. On my clothes it lasts for days. The bright green aspect of the rose reminds me a bit of Mancera Pearl. I like how unsweetened and natural the rose smells without getting sharp or sour. Overall, I'm really glad I bought this. I'm looking forward to wearing it a lot when Spring rolls around.

So I received a sample of this and instantly I fell in love with this fragrance. It is very special indeed. It’s almost polite in nature but very sensual at the same time. The only thing that may stop me from purchasing this perfume is that it really does not last for long on the skin. However owning a bottle of this perfume and having it just for yourself to wear to bed is almost like a heavenly thought. I think if your husband or partner smelled this on you going to bed they would actually fall in love with you all over again! That’s how good it is it’s almost sexy like it is sexy but in a polite way.

This scent reminds me of a room freshener (Air Wick’s White Flowers, in particular lol), but I weirdly like it a lot. I’m not sure if it’s because of the memories attached to that air freshener or if I just genuinely enjoy it, lmao. Either way, it’s a good scent. I wore it on a slow, rainy spring/summer day that faded into the evening, and it gave me a certain feeling—soft and calm, yet still making a statement. If that makes sense? I’m not great at identifying specific notes or the exact composition of a perfume, so my review is purely based on the vibe and feeling it gave me.

I bought this one in spring last year and loved it for spring and early summer. I stopped wearing it in autumn but I still love the smell from the bottle itself - but when I reached for this a week ago, I smelled something way too green (a bit grassy, even?) for this time of year in the opening. The drydown is still beautiful, but I would definitely save this one for warmer weather only due to the opening. During those warmer days, though, it is absolutely my favourite fragrance to wear daily. It is rosy, floral, fresh and green. Spring in a bottle.

Beautiful scent. I was pleasantly surprised at this. To me, this smells fresh, sunny and sweet. I’m not really a huge fan of rose in perfumes as they usually smell artificial and overpowering, but this rose is done well. It’s lovely and fresh, not at all cloying. The warm honey smell from the mimosa is strong but I love that as I like sweet perfumes. I get a slight soapy clean smell too, which again I enjoy. When I wear this, it reminds me of the summer holiday and makes me feel excited for warm weather.

Fresh and clean, it has a bright citrus opening that fades into a wearable green rose. It's not a perfume that would normally be up my alley, but I found myself reaching for it in the spring, when the trees are finally blooming and the sun is coming out. Longevity is nice, I can usually still smell it on me six or seven hours later. I would recommend getting a sample of this and not blind buying. To someone who doesn't like sharp green scents, this could definitely be overwhelming.

My signature scent from age 16-18 - I liked how it was a bit more subtle than usual rose scents I had seen before. I got a ton of compliments on it, although the scent would be entirely faded towards the end of the school day. I was too lazy to bring it with me to reapply haha. I bought it at a duty free + w/ an employee discount, and it felt reasonable at that price point. Might buy again in a couple years.

Encantador. Delicado, fresco sem ser azedo... Aconchegante como uma gelatina e gentil como uma pétala. Um doce sem ser doce. Um pouco maduro também, mas sem perder a sutileza da jovialidade. Gostei bastante, nada comparado com outros importados... Cheirei muuuuitos procurando algo que não seja incômodo nem agressivo, até agora os únicos que encontrei foram o Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet (uma graça) e esse.

quite shocked by the negative reviews of this perfume as i don’t share the same sentiment at all! this is divine and perfect for me as i live in the tropics. very comforting, natural floral scent that i wouldn’t imagine can offend anyone. beatiful projection and people can still smell it on me even when i can only catch the softest whiff of it. makes me feel effortlessly pretty.

Tried this in store on my hand and for the rest of the day, couldn’t help but bury my nose to it. To me it smells like wild roses in the field, rain, cut grass and spring joyousness. Can’t get enough of it. There is a sour note also.....someone commented about grandma’s rose potpourri, yeah, I can smell that too.

Wow this is not what you would expect from this Chloe line! I love the rest that smell the same w their slight nuances, and this oddball was quite a pleasant surprise. I like it a lot. I take that back. Both the green and pink leaus are also very different

Citrusy 'Naturelle' Rose, fantastique! It's chic! I love most of Chloe's fragrance creations! Projection tends to sit on the skin and is moderately lasting. I am using it in the English Autumn but I am sure it will stand out during warmer weather! LOVE!🌹🍋

Starts very green and lasts green for half an hour and theeeennn...suddenly opens up with honey! Kind of specific type of honey, very aromatic one, but not overly sweet! Interesting perfume, I like it! Longevity is medium which is ok for me.

If I had a signature scent this would most likely, be it. This will forever remain in my roster for as long as they make it. It's bright, warm, uncomplicated and beautiful. I pray it never gets discontinued.

This and Chloe EDP are two of my favorite scents. My impression is that Chloe EDP performs a bit better than this but if it does it's not a huge difference. Both are fantastic regular scents for me.

Very pretty , light and airy. Out of the shower clean. I love this . I sprayed it before bed and I still smell it on clothes, on skin its gone in 1-2 hours but I don't mind . This is beautiful .

Reminds me of the discontinued See by Chloe. I can still smell it on me and my clothes after 1-2 hours. But no compliments from other people so I think not as strong as the original Chloe edp

I love this one. It’s a very unique fresh floral scent. My husband always compliments me when I wear it. And it lasts a long time on me when almost nothing else does.

Got this as a tester and I will be purchasing it for spring time. It's so fresh clean, green and powdery. Makes me feel very excited for spring time

Being someone that dislikes (some) synthetics, I am always quite happy to try natural perfume as no chance of encountering them. Not sure what 100% natural means here, but it did not scratch me in that way and it smells quite natural. Definitely a mimosa perfume, at least that’s what I smell more clearly, and the rose is the May kind of rose, fresh and lemony so blends in with the lemon. I really like mimosa, so quite happy with it. It is a soft innocent type of scent but does not disappear in 2 hours- I can still smell where I sprayed this on my arm quite clearly 3-4 hours later. It reminds me a bit of Iris Perle from Les Indemodables. In that one the clary sage gives spark to the mimosa, and here the cassis and lemon do the same. Nice. First impression is I like it. Edit: I have bought this perfume and have really been enjoying wearing it. My initial impression remains, and I find the longevity good around 8+ hours, but mild projection at my usual 1-2 sprays (for me that’s a positive, but I am aware this may not be the case for everyone). It’s an easy reach. For reference, the other two Chloes I like are L’Eau de Chloe and Love Chloe, both now discontinued. I don’t really like the Chloe EDP as I now find it too synthetic strong and a bit headache inducing. However I used to own a bottle years ago given to me as a present. I wasn’t into fragrance then and didn’t realise it had caused olfactory fatigue so I maybe used 3-4 sprays at times and was very surprised when my boss very strongly complained about it 2 metres away from me and I couldn’t smell it! Avoidance of olfactory fatigue, that is a nice excuse for owning multiple perfumes to keep in rotation :)

I bought Naturelle mistakenly when I meant to get the original Chloe by Chloe eau de parfum but I’m honestly not mad at it. They smell very similar, but Naturelle is more woody and sharp yet still soft and i have to spray a bit more, whereas OG Chloe is more smooth and bright yet loud (it projects way more) and I don’t have to spray as much. Naturelle still has pretty good lasting power. I sprayed a few sprays on my on my shirt, ran a few errands, went to sleep with the same shirt, woke up the next day and I can still smell it on my shirt and now my blanket. This is such a gooooood freshie scent and I’m a gourmand girlie through and through, but there’s something about this and OG Chloe I just can’t get enough of. I can see how people could say it gives laundry detergent, like I get it but to me it still reads as a perfume. The only singular note I pick up on is the citron which I guess is why some ppl get “bug spray”, other than that I think it’s very well blended. Can’t wait to layer it with Chloe by Chloe for a touch of woodiness and depth. 3.5/5 stars, just wish it projected more but I am still happy with this!

so i skin tested this and yeah its nice. i AM NOT paying $178 for a 50ml though!. right so, on skin this is much more unisex than you might think. retains the dry rosey flroal feel but adds in a green and nice rubber element. I have recently tried something else with mimosa and once you know what it is, its quite recognizable. this is very clean and fresh - almost a laundry smell - which i love, there is a delicate flower peeking out somewhere - but not you usually kind.. maybe a flower and the little bush in which it grows, .. the most delicate rose you might smell walking through a garden centre smelling the bloom attached to the rest of the plant. clean, fresh, laundry, tiny bit green, delecate (marc jacobs perfect also had this hard to describe nostalgic 'thing' happening). a clean non flowery floral. lasted pretty well

I have a little non-spray bottle from the sephora sampler set so I might not be getting the full effect. It's verrrry citrusy and green...and a little soapy? It reminds me a lot of Daisy Eau So Fresh. Edit: When I first reviewed I wasn't sure if I liked it, but I wore full a full day last week and it was so nice! It has this uplifting citrusy "sparkle" to it that I love, and lasts a surprisingly long time (usually those sparkles can be fleeting). I notice the rose more now that I've worn it for a full day. I love the original Chloe, but sometimes I worry it's too heavy of a floral for work. I don't feel that with this one. Strongly recommend if you enjoy both the original Chloe and any of the MJ Daisy flankers -- A good potential signature scent if you like those but want something not as many people use.

Very interesting scent It has something in common with the rochas Natural scent - girl. Quitebpretty in the dry down. It has that smooth, yellow floral fresh and rounded thing which Mimosa does This is a little dry like the original - a dry, laundry, powdery non fresh rose, floral, a tiny bit green but that comes out more for balance overall, it's rounded and cool. There could almost be a little bit of a rubbery note?? This is overall a clean floral freshie - but no aquatics and no blue feel,no wood either. I think this is feminine fir sure, however its unisex, there's a delicateness and coolness which could go either way, this isnt rosey per se, nor fruity. I'm getting very good longevity, I sprayed around 1.30pm and this is still going very well at 8.30pm. Hot day, two squirts to arm.

Gives romantic vibes like other Chloe signatures. This is a very fresh scent, green and not sweet, there is blackcurrant buds, not the berries itself (wrong on this page) . I like the combination of mimosa, citron and rose with slight woody hints, like Mediterranean spring in a bottle...actually how odd to introduce this in fall. But I think many will be fans of this. It makes one feel refreshed and in tune with nature.. I like its sharp contrast against all artificial and sweet scents of today, this is like from another era.. so romantic 🍋🥀 (And no, i don’t agree with room-freshener/detergent or softener comparisons - comments usually from city-dwellers who got to detached from countyside and nature). Great sillage b t w, and outlasted the new Miss Dior on my other wrist by faaaaar!

Not what I expected! Don't be fooled by the green ribbon, this isn't a fresh fragrance - instead it's quite sweet. Looking at the notes, I imagined a summer neroli surrounded by lemons, with cedar at the base. What I got was far from it - opens with mimosa, comforting and really well done. Citron is detectable from the start, but you can only appreciate it a few minutes in. It's juicy and lemony, complementing the sweetness of mimosa. I get the Chloe DNA in this one, and even though the notes are completely different, I sometimes get whiffs of the original See by Chloe. A pleasant blind buy.

Unique. A very "green", grassy scent, with strong currant and cedar. The cedar here almost smells like a mixture of Christmas spices. Simultaneously fresh, woodsy, and fruity. Slightly musky. It is constantly changing and showing different sides of itself. This is like walking through the woods in early Springtime with a gingersnap in one hand and a cup of fruit juice in the other. There are grasshoppers all around and it recently rained. The whole landscape is pale green, it's a little cold out and you're wearing a cashmere sweater.

Opens as a green dewey rose with an edge of spice. Smells like rose petals covered in dew. I’m noticing something sweet and almost soapy as well with a hint of citrus. It’s bringing to mind those clear bars of green rosey soaps you’d find wrapped in cellophane in a guest bathroom. It’s more pleasant than I remember the original Chloe being. For me, I always smelled a bug spray rose from the original. This one is so much more enjoyable. Neroli and cedar can sometimes bother my nose yet they’re light and inoffensive in this fragrance.

Naturally spicy. Unexpected warm spice (almost like cinnamon, but woodier), which I don't see in the listed notes. The Fragrantica review mentions that the type of rose used in this natural formula (de Grasse) has a spicy kick to it, so I think that must be it. This gives the perfume a unique aspect and keeps it fresh. If you can picture how when pink pepper is added to a rose perfume it gives it a cold punch, this spice gives the rose a warm blanket. Nevertheless, this feels fresh and light and I'm loving it for Spring.

Tested a few of the Chloe rose-centered fragrances and this one was a star. Tangerine rose was great but very much focused on the tangerine, so much so that I'd say it's primarily citrus rather than rose. L' eau had an odd celery note on my skin. Naturelle is a fantastic ROSE. The citrus isn't too bright for this to be multiseasonal, light enough for the summer but woody enough for fall. The rose is deep and peppery-- not too jammy, not too powdery. I wouldn't say this is a FRESH rose, but it is elegant and sensual.

I didn’t like this one at first, seemed astringent and bitter, but it actually works much better on the skin than on paper. On skin it’s fresh and natural, it glows, I can sense the Chloe DNA; I like what they’ve done with limiting artificial ingredients, very bold move for a designer perfume. I hope this sets off a trend for other perfume houses. This is a great one to add to the collection if you like the original Chloe, but try first (on skin, not paper!) as it has a completely different personality and mood.

This is a pretty citrus floral perfume. The only problem is it is a bit weak and that is a problem w/ naturals that are not heavy w/ resins or spices. So it is expensive because it wouldn't take long before you went through a bottle if you plan on using it a lot. That being said the perfume is pretty, demure, and soft. It starts of w/ a fresh citrus and to my nose is very heavy w/ mimosa. It is a citrus green floral best worn in spring. Pretty, I may spring for a small 1 ounce next time I'm in ULTA.

I love love love how this perfume smells and I would have very much liked to make this my signature, because it's light, fresh, floral and clean. It gives elegant and chic unproblematic girl for me. Sadly it lasts like 30 minutes on me and for the price that's just a no-go. I'm not sure if I'm not just too used to it now to smell it after the first couple of minutes, but I'm pretty sure it just doesn't perform well on the skin. On fabrics it's a little better but overall still not worth the money.

my favourite chloé scent by far. the blackcurrant plus mimosa give a more vegetal depth to a fairly synthetic rose. sounds a little offputting but it works; it's very prim and demure and chloé but manages to, if not break out of its conservative shell, at least tap on the glass a little from the inside. put together with a noticeable air of aloofness, trying without trying. also bang in the middle between powdery and juicy. nothing out of the box whatsoever but it's a timelessly elegant box.

Really lovely,girly scent. It will be perfect for spring and summer. So cute... I see pretty girl in her floral dress, with pink cheeks wearing this. Citrusy-floral, light fragrance. Little bit soapy but I don’t mind. I think this perfume will also be beautiful for bride for her wedding day. :) that’s the type of scent. Edit- still don’t know why people hate this! Now I’m wearing it at spring and it’s so beautiful! Fresh, juicy and sweet with a hint of green.🧚🏼♂️

Initial spray: Yuck After 2 minutes: Wait hold up... Dry down: Smells like a very light costco dryer sheets I like clean scents, and my fave brand is Chloe. I like the dry down of this scent but it’s very light. Barely there fragrance. Comparing to the intense version, I like that one better cause it has more projection. Dry down almost exactly the same, but intense is slightly sweeter. This tho, is a good office perfume... healthcare, teachers.

This is a beautiful rosy scent . Very natural smelling but does have the sophistication of a perfume . It’s not very long lasting but it’s nice to spray after a shower during hot days and it’s a nice one for those that like very natural smelling florals . Update; the mimosa predominates which can smell a bit medicinal? Not sure how I feel it about it . I love the bottle though . If I spray liberally it does last more than five hours on skin

On my skin it opens beautifully warm and cottony, like clean linen in summer sun. There is also a salty note that reminds me of tears. It has a feminine, wholesome quality to it with the same fresh baked bread note of the original chloes but lighter and fresher, reminds me a bit of Chloe edt and J'adore In Joy, the salty note is stronger on clothes. Drydown is lightly creamy quince. Moderate sillage and longevity.

Light fruity forward rosé. Am I describing wine? It’s mushy fruits in the opening, then a lovely, sprightly rose. This scent is cute without being immature and is very pleasant. I like Red Roses style more but this one is a good travel scent that lifts my mood and would be nice all around. It doesn’t last very long on me though, so not FB worthy IMO but it wouldn’t make a bad present.

Slightly green but mostly fruits. Initially this smells like a plum+peach flavored bubble gum. 20 minutes past, still waiting for some rose and mimosa to step up/ 50 min past, Fruits are still there but I'm getting rose and cedar/ Overall thoughts: Fresh, girly, generic but not Too generic, and reasonable price. This is almost everything you can expect from a designer fragrance.

I have this one as a gift for buying another Chloé perfume. I like the first and middle notes that give out the sweet and romantic rose scent and it make you feel refreshing. When it dries down it leans toward patchouli and something sharp and dry that I find too strong to my nose. (That's why I didn't choose this perfume from the start). Still a like for me, though.

Initially I was surprised at the low rating because I think this is a great, easy to wear mainstream, approachable perfume. But if you think rose is dominant, you will be disappointed. Chloé Eau de Parfum Naturelle is a citrus rose then dries down to a light powdery mimosa. I don’t get the dreaded laundry note; to me this is a beautiful, sunny springtime floral.
