Chloé L'Eau de Parfum Intense (2024)

Chloé being THE fragrance of my teen years, one of my go-to and classic, my dose of serotine with every spritz, I watch every new flanker, and as soon as I saw an intense version was launched, I ran to Sephora, and course "add to cart" when I got home. This intense version is a beautiful autumnal and/or nocturnal interpretation; it's the DNA of the OG, but it is woodier and warmer. Thanks to the raspberry, it's also less fresh and a little sweeter. I don't perceive it exactly, but I perceive a gentler change from the original. Intense is softer, rounder, and warmer, and I think the Cashmeran must play something. Nevertheless, the wow factor isn't there, I prefer to be honest, but it's a good perfume. The strong point is that it retains the DNA of the rose, which is so elegant, delicate, French and caressing. A must-have? To be discussed. The OG is, for me, a pillar of the industry and, above all, dear to my heart; I'm perhaps being picky. Let's say it's a more appropriate version for cold days or nights. The OG already held up very well; this one, too, holds up just as well over time, much more on clothes but it projects less. I can’t imagine how someone can go wrong with this one; as its less “sharp”, “detergent” than the OG, and it remains versatile and safe. This fragrance will reassure all OG lovers like me and will likely win over some of those who resist to the OG - those who find it sharp or detergent like. Either way, you'll make a good impression - it's elegantly simple and efficient. I will describe it as a 7,5/10. I won't really comment on the change of bottle since, as you may have guessed, I prefer everything from the OG, bottle included, especially with the metal part - which has disappeared from the new OG bottles too, probably to make them refillable. But the color of the ribbon and the juice confirm my impressions that this fragrance is ideal for autumn.

Surprisingly strong, given the fact that nowadays even an "intense" version of anything is still light. It has very good silage and lasts for days on clothes. Despite the raspberry note, it doesn't have much sweetness. Somehow, I thought it would be sweet, because of the fruit, but I was wrong. The bottle is similar to other Chloe, but it has a dark ruby red ribbon. It comes in 100ml, and I don't think the other other versions came in a bit bottle like this. It is somewhat similar to the original, but with less rose and more woods and musk; it has something that rubs me the wrong way after a while - it could just be the length of the perfume, I usually like to change my perfume mid day, and this is not possible with this unless you take a shower and change all your clothes. I think I prefer other versions of Chloe. Still , it is a very beautiful and elegant perfume. I might swap this, I have a 100 ml bottle just purchased from the Beauty Boutique at Shoppers, if anyone wants it. I fell in love with it in the store, but somehow I keep going back to Delina and the Chloe Roses nowadays; plus, I thought it would be a remake of the Chloé Intense the original one, with black ribbon, long discontinued, but sadly it's not, it's a new perfume.

Chloe Intense is the most beautiful fragrance I’ve encountered from a designer in a hot minute. Most designer perfumes these days seem to fall into one of two camps: overwhelmingly loud or underwhelmingly forgettable. Many start to smell like variations of the same theme and lack depth. But Chloe Intense breaks free from the monotony with a distinct softness and warmth that feels entirely its own (at least in the designer world). This fragrance is a testament that perfumery isn’t about piling on an endless list of notes. Instead, it’s about intention and vision. Chloe Intense feels like it was intended to capture the essence of a rose garden during golden hour. Romantic, serene, warm, and elegant. The composition is simple but masterfully done. Fresh velvety rose at the opening, wrapped in an amber-like warmth that gives it depth without being too heavy. As it settles, the florals remain the heart of the scent, but they’re supported by a delicate musk and a touch of sweetness that’s perfectly balanced. It’s not cloying or synthetic sweet, but just enough to feel inviting and comforting.

This perfume is simply gorgeous, and judging by the reviews (or lack thereof) severely underrated. This smells like someone who has their life together. In fact, that's why I bought it. I needed a scent that would inspire confidence and remind me of the woman I wish to be. It smells expensive, feminine, lovely. Like someone who can be soft and strong at the same time. This has become my new signature scent, combined with L'Occitane almond products - they blend together beautifully. When first sprayed, it is a little bit sharp. But it settles down quickly into a beautiful raspberry rose, and over the next few hours it gets this rounded softness, like the vibe of vanilla, while definitely not smelling like it (maybe that's the cashmeran I'm smelling). Chloe L'eau Intense reminds me of Rose Jam by LUSH, but a sophisticated version, and much more dimensional and soft. Also, it is quite different from the regular (not "Intense") version of Chloe L'eau. I sprayed them both on me, and the regular one had a leathery masculine note that I did not like.

Chloe L’eau de Parfum Intense 2024 is a beautiful, warm, powdery, musky, soft blend of dark, rich rose and an overripe, sweet, velvety raspberry. It’s really nice, delicious and has more depth than the OG Chloe launched twenty years ago, but I still love the original Chloe better! I think it’s worth sampling it if you’re looking into buying a fall rose perfume, it’s really gorgeous and a very mass appealing scent. For me, personally, it’s not bringing much to my collection to tempt me right now even with a small bottle. Until I finish some other rose forward scents that I have already bought, I’m good. Then I wouldn’t say no to Chloe EDP Intense 2024. I really like it a lot! And unfortunately it’s not even that intense. As far as performance goes in my opinion it’s just a normal EDP concentration, nothing intense! For this reason l’d consider Chloe EDP Intense slightly overpriced.

The vibe is romantic and soft enough for a day at the office but alluring enough for a date or night out. This is an elevated new take on Chloe--it's not soapy or harsh (like the OG)--I find that one to be a bit screechy and nauseating. It's smoother, deeper, still maintains the innocent feminine Chloe DNA at it's base but the raspberry and rose are the stars of the show. Raspberry makes it sweeter and this version's rose has a subtle incense note that makes it sexier than the OG. I don't find it to be too mature, if anything the original smells outdated compared to this one. It's timeless, beautiful and long lasting. My new go to perfume!

I feel very romantic, elegant and mature with this perfume. It is quite a strong scent at first, but then it dries down to a beautiful woody smooth rose. Very elegant, feminine, rich and mature, perfect for office days. It smells rich and deep, so it is also a good choice for an evening date. I love the intensity of this perfume! It is hard to overdo it, but at the same time, people around you can smell the scent, not in an bothering or annoying way... like a feminine aura around you. I LOVE it, it is my favorite at the moment. I love it even more every time I use it... I also got compliments from people around me!

this is a blind buy (I love playing Fragrance Roulette lmao)... 93% of my fragrances actually are blind purchases and almost all of them I love! this fragrance is NO different! it's so different than anything I own. I mean it's fruity but the woody note really gives it depth which I feel makes it smell so sexy!!! now, it's no power house, it's soft and airy, but again rather sensual in a way. I actually purchased this with hopes to have a light airy musky fragrance for the Texas Summers and I think I've found it!!! It makes me smile, this scent.

This is my favourite female fragrance out there - coming from a guy - It's quite the perfect scent for my girlfriend and I will get her this at some point. The type of girl that smells like this is the sweet cute and kind girl. The girl that lives leisurely and likes to smile. The soft girl that loves hugs and kisses and has a collection of jellycat plushies. The girl that wears cute oversized jumpers. The girl that never fails to make others smile when she's around. Please don't ever discontinue this. I love it.

This is what I imagine Belle would smell like. There’s something in here that kind of smells like book pages. It also kind of has a skin quality to it too though, like amouage guidance, not that they smell anything alike in the slightest but they both seem to imitate the way a persons skin smells. The rose adds sweetness to this element and it’s just so beautiful. I actually think guidance and this would layer so beautifully together. If you’re a fan of Chloe perfumes you will love this.

Updated: I HATE THIS, why does it smell like a cheap bathroom scent. Couldn’t stand it, so had to give it away. In no way it can replace my favorite L’Eau de Chloe, sorry guys!!! Original review: This is a beautiful autumnal fragrance, smells very elegant! My favorite Chloe perfume is the discontinued L’Eau de Chloe, which I think is a perfect scent for spring. I didn’t like any other Chloe perfumes as much, until this one came around, now in autumnal interpretation and I love it.

The only fragrance in my life where I bought it immediately after smelling it for the first time. Smells like a honey rose fragrance, you really got to love Rose for this. It opens up slightly fresh and rosy, The honey scent kicks in later even though there's no honey accord in the notes. After an hour, the scent smells about the same for the rest of the day. A little bit pricey, but I would absolutely buy this again. It's very different from the other Chloe ones too

If you love Chloe DNA but in a mature way then this is it. It is for bold woman who can look into your eyes. She loves luxury and sophistication. For some people it can be intense for summer but if you are not into fresh scents then you can wear it in any time of the year. Fragrance lasts long and sillage is amazing. It is not very loud that one can get offended all the notes are well balanced. It is not unisex. Overall great job done by the designer.

I've got a sample of this baby and I am in love! Has been a struggle to find a fragrance that I truly like. I tend to like them on paper but then on my skin is very different story, I cannot even wear some of the fragrances I own because they make me sick. This one...this one is beautiful! It's simple, it's clean, it's pretty, it's feminine, it dries down beautifully on my skin and it's sooo versatile l! I desperately need her in my collection.

Maybe I'm still in the honeymoon phase with this perfume but this is my favorite one I've picked up this year. It smells very classic to me and seems like the older sister to the original chloe. When I wear it, I don't smell the raspberry much which I appreciate because I find it can be a hit or miss note for me as it can be sickeningly sweet. I think this will be my daily perfume for a while as it encapsulates the vibe I'm going for.

I had a little sample of this perfume, as soon as i sprayed it i fell in love with it, it's very well blended and doesnt cause me headaches. What i also like is that it doesnt cause perfume blindess, so i can smell it throughout the day! my husband as soon as he walked in and leaned to kiss me, he said i smell so nice and feminine today. Later on, again one more time he said gosh I love this smell! So obv I'm buying it 😅

Still a safe, feminine mainstream scent with moderate projection and longevity that fades quickly after a bold opening. However, it stands out with its subtle complexity and an unusual twist, while staying within a comfortable zone.

This perfume radiates put-together, sophisticated, warm, earnest, and adored energy. For me, the perfumes I've fallen in love with throughout different stages of my life have exactly radiated similar specific energy. I feel like this is the one signature scent as I'm stepping into my late 20s, doing a PhD abroad, and just got married to the love of my life.

I got this and was actually really happy about it. It’s fruity, warm, sweet & fresh at the same time ❤️ On me it lasted 7 hours, and everyone at home noticed it. Even got compliments at the store. So I dont get the comments about pour lasting power. But I agree with the intense part. It could be a touch stronger. But all in all Im happy about it 🥰

I love this perfume so much! There's a strong raspberry note at the beginning, but it dries down to a nice and reassuring woody scent, like the smell of books. The rose doesn't do much. It just lingers in the background. I use this perfume in a tropical weather, but I think it'll smell better in colder climates.

It's dark Rose, chic and very very Chloe style(I had Chloe by Chloe and it reminds me of that)...I would use it in fall/winter, the opening is quite strong but cosy. I also have Rose of No Man's Land from Byredo, which is similar, but peppery and that's why it's fresh. Overall, great perfume from Chloe!

This is Chloe come back! This one is for those who adore Chloe (BUT don't find any flanker interesting like an original) This one is like original but so much elevated - for ladies (not just for girls), and winter time (not jus for spring)! So in love with this one!

Beautiful. Similar to the OG with a fruity twist, which makes it slightly different and oh so enjoyable. It’s fun but not childish, still very elegant and suitable for warmer days. The addition of raspberry takes some of the sharpness off. I could bath in this one.

I went to cosmetic store once because I was bored. I was at the perfume section and found this scent by accident. It was love at first sight for me so I immediately got miniature versions of the perfume. I’m very satisfied about my purchase of this perfume.

I LOVE THIS! Though I'm a gourmand girlie, this is such a nice woodsy, rosy scent, it is youthful but grown and sexy still, and it lasts a very long time and projects very well. If you want a woodsy scent that is still very feminine and inviting, get this!

This perfume is so beautiful. I’m seriously in heaven. the first hour something feels just a bit sharp. I’m guessing it’s the raspberry i’m no expert perfumer but once it settles, oh my goodness, just amazing. My husband also cannot get enough of it.

Çok güzel Pudramsı ve amberle karışmış bir gül kokusu. Gül kokusundan daha çok pudramsı bir koku. Tatlı değil. Sonbahara ve kışa gidicek güzellikte bir koku. Notalarındaki amber ve kaşmirin mayhoşluğu bi tık hissediliyor. ben çok beğendim. Kalıcı.

This is a nice perfume - the woody notes overpower the rest which is a shame because I wish the rose was a bit strong. The raspberry note is lovely and gives the fragrance a much needed sweetness. It matures into a jammy scent throughout the day.

I really adore this. Reminds me original chloe but more sexy with cashmeran, berry furity sweetness, very elegant sexy romantic please do not stop making this. I would only rather package pink more girly rather than red but still pretty.

I don't understand the negative reviews: this fragrance is a marvel! Warmer and more enveloping than the original version, which is fresher. Delicious rose. Suitable for every season. Longlasting. My new love!

Just when I thought Chloe's flankers couldn't get any better after Lumineuse this banger hit. I love it. Four sprays and five hours later I was still getting compliments.

Try layering this with a simple warm vanilla, like Tihota. It's so beautiful.

I had high hopes for this as the OG Chloe was my wedding and signature scent for years...it's nice. Did they want to recreate the success of the OG for their audience who have now got a bit older, just taking the original fragrance and making it a bit more mature? It's still a beautiful fragrance; classy, feminine, sophisticated, refined and POTENT. It is intense, all right. I'm a bit of an oversprayer but three spritzes are almost a bit much for me. The pyramid is exactly right. I am getting a touch of bandaid, although this is nothing, nothing, like BR540, so you're safe there. I can't quite figure out why I'm not more enthusiastic about the reality vs expectations? If the original was a girl wearing a pretty peasant dress picked straight off the washline, skipping along picking roses in the sunshine, this is the same woman in a quiet luxury type of outfit, with pretty but minimal jewellery, out with her husband at night. She's more self-assured and settled now, but is gorgeous, stylish and classy. Just not in your face. But sometimes you don't need to make a statement, right? It is also nice to have a break from all the sickly sweet gourmand releases we've had for so long.

Elegant and chic, light woods, nothing dank or dark here. Prominent woody rose throughout that is elevated slightly with raspberry and softened by cashmeran. I can sense raspberry through several hours but ever so slightly and the cashmeran more so in the deep dry down after 6+ hours. It is woody, the wood adds graininess and texture, but it’s bright without being sharp. I can see this reading as mature, especially if one doesn’t love full on rose. This has an oily sheen when I spray on skin and 16+ hours I can still smell this faintly on skin. Strong projection for 6+ hours on me with one spray. Left the car and after two hours my son got in and said he could smell it. This is polished and refined, but approachable without being cute. Almost too elegant to wear daily, but I love it too much not to ♥️ Also, I see a lot of soapy votes and I found the original to be soapy and laundryesque, but not this one. This is pure woody floral. I don’t find this to be sweet at all, maybe slightly jammy, but not gourmand in the slightest. LOVE.

Finally tested this today, you get the original Chloe edp immediately but replaced by a jammier fruit - Raspberry instead of fresh and bright lychee. The Chloe floral DNA is quite intense after the jammy raspberry you get a fresh clean the Chloe rose everyone knows, I’d say if you like Chloe EDP you are going to like this too. The ambroxan base is strong just like the flanker they released last year Luminuese. I hate ambroxan too but ok in this one ~ it is clean and soapy too. I saw someone say it reminds them of the long discontinued and we loved Chloe, Love I do get that comparison the soapiness in this version reminds me a bit of Chloe, Love it really does!! But it doesn’t mean this could replace Chloe, Love 🥹 never ... 😭 Will comeback and update about performance , I don’t find this to be really that “intense” for me you can wear this at any time even summer ~ EDIT: The performance is great lasted 10hrs+ on clothes and skin got compliments from co-worker too!! love it :D I am wearing this3 days in a row!!!

Oh this is lovely, yet another love at first sniff. Soft, round floral scent with elegant creamy&powdery nuances and enough freshness to be invigorating. A rose, but barely recognizable. Warm but cold at the same time. Lovely everyday fragrance for spring and summer, but with enough special feel to be great also on a date, as this is just bottled loveliness. But it is not intense, it is a gentle scent. On my tobuy it goes. But it is a bit too heavy on cedar, hmmm. Fresh pencils. Nice. It fits the composition but I consider cedar masculine. It is powdered and sprinkled with rose water, but it appears too soon, already within the first half an hour. 2,5 hours in - it is present but barely lifts from the skin. Just a wrist test.

This used to be my everyday perfume, its a very feminine and slightly mature scent, it reminds me of the old money aesthetic. At first i thought it had a strange scent, the raspberry smelled bitter and musty on me. But after like 10-20 minutes the bitterness faded away and it settled into this very beautiful rose scent. The cedar gives it a deeper a bit darker tone while the cashemere gives it a bit of a clean scent like detergent or soap. It lasts around 6-7 hours on me, the projection is moderate. I do not recommend spraying too much cause it can get overwhelming. If you want to try it, i recommend spraying on your wrist and then go for a walk, and after 30 minutes smell it again.

Beautiful, feminine perfume full of sweet rose with a delicate fruity and woody twist. It’s simple, but addictive. Flirty, yet elegant. Not so intense in terms of sillage and projection, but longevity allows you to enjoy this pretty scent for a long time. :) Ps. Comparing to Chloe EDP, I find it to be heavier, more woody and less fresh. Also, in original Chloe I smell a few different flowers, whereas here rose is the queen and raspberry is the princess.Intense might be considered more as an evening scent, while EDP will cheer up your day with its airy and soft character. :)

An interesting addition to this family of fragrances. The scent opens up with a burst of Raspberry and Roses. Alas at the end the raspberry note is the winner of this battle with the rose note waiting patiently for its turn. The scent moves from the top notes to the middle ones in just a few minutes at which point a very fainted version of the rose note takes the center stage. The base notes are a light version of a combination of heady notes. Thanks to the water based formula, they stay close to the skin and not too overpowering. Overall, a safe bet for everyday use!

For the lovers of fruity florals. It's a very straightforward raspberry-rose with a dark woody base and something a bit ambery-powdery (cashmeran) in the background. Not nuanced, exactly what it says on the package. I love it -- something to take me through winter when my sunnier fruity frags are too bright. But the price? $40 for a travel 9ml is crazy. The perfume bubble has to pop at some point. I've been waiting to buy this for a while and eventually bit the bullet but I swear it used to be $36. C'mon Chloé. You're not that much better than all the other girls.

Altough, i'm not a fan of the OG, i really like this new version of Chloe. Chloe edp was always making me nauseous and it was very harsh for my liking. There was a powerful musk in og. Intense is like for the young woman who wore tresor midnight rose when she was a teen. When in comparison to the og it's more beautiful, sweeter, deeper and really intense. Suitable for everyday wear. When i first spray it, i feel cold and sharp raspberry and rose, a few hours later it evolves to a warm and a little bit sexy rose.

I love love love woody fragrances and was intrigued by the notes of this one. Such a pretty floral held down with a woody base. As someone who doesn’t do florals usually, for me this is ultra floral and ultra femme and pretty. Though it isn’t quite my style, every time I catch a whiff of the tester strip is like a lovely little sigh. This perfume is STRONG. I sprayed once on my chest/jacket yesterday and the scent over 24 hours later is still dominating my room! So that being said a little goes a long way.

I have really enjoyed the perfume even at the first sniff, I have to admit that it gives me deeper darker vibe of Chloe signature. I am actually not a huge fan of the signature one since it is too powdery to my nose but I am glad that they came up with this flanker. I think rose speaks up more in this composition therefore, if you like rosey notes in a perfume you should give this one a try. for me it is 7/10 in designers and I'd use it as a daily perfume.

Comparing it to the corresponding original EDP from 2008, this version has a jammier rose and the base has a more noticeable amber accord. While the older version is airier and fresher, therefore perfectly suitable for warmer weather, I could see this one shine in colder weather. I really like this fragrance, but I did not rate it as a “love” because the one from 2008 is tied to so many beautiful memories and will always have a special place in my heart.
