Chloé Rose Naturelle Intense

I received a sample of this fragrance, and when I saw the notes I assumed I wouldn’t be impressed, since rose almost always disappoints me in perfumes. Paradoxically, some of my favorite signature scents actually contain rose, so I’ve learned that I shouldn’t judge before trying. After reading the official description stating it is “formulated with 100% naturally derived ingredients, including natural alcohol and water – without any additional synthetic components” I honestly expected a disaster, as my first impression right after spraying was that it contained nothing else but alcohol. However, the alcohol quickly faded, and what remained was a beautiful, soft fragrance that doesn’t really remind me of rose at all. Instead, I get more neroli and a freshly cut, dewy green impression, almost like wet grass in the morning. Unfortunately, the longevity isn’t great, but overall it’s a truly beautiful scent. I will definitely be buying a full bottle when the opportunity comes.

Okay so this comment is gonna be helpful to the clean vibe girlies. If you've loved Idole Lancome your whole life because it was rosey, not too sweet, clean and fresh and you need something new, I think you're gonna fall in love with this fragrance. It's woody fresh, which gives a very romantic soapy vibe, the oak tree is incredible, it's the perfect amount of sweet, not at all a synthetic scent in my nose and just lovely. I wish it wasn't such overpriced but I guess it's because is the instense version. I also love Chloé Rose Naturelle but I wouldn't say they're that similar. They're on the same category, floral-clean-fresh-romantic-light but Ugh!!!! So in love with this I could bathe in it literally!!! It's the perfect scent for Winter if you don't like warm and spicey scents. I just realized I haven't smelled a lot of fresh woody fragrances and it's the best combination ever!!!

Blind buy, but at £40 tor 150mls (albeit a refill bottle) seemed too good to pass up. This is unexpectedly different from many other Rose fragrances I own. I adore Rose, in all its different forms and facets. This is subtle. That delicious opening of citrus and neroli and the rose as it comes through is subtle and lightened by that citrus. Doesn’t go soft or powdery on me. The woodsiness keeps it dry and right down the middle as a unisex scent. I like that this one feels real. This is a great spring/summer daytime scent. Projection isn’t terribly potent, but it feels crisp and well put together.

Ele tem um cheiro cítrico da bergamota com um toque docinho e encorpado na minha pele lembra um suco de limão siciliano docinho com um toque elegante de rosa bem discreto, não sinto a rosa tão forte, mas ela está lá de forma sutil, não sinto amadeirado nessa Fragrância, seria maravilhoso se não fosse a fixação e projeção, na minha pele não dura uns 30 minutos de projeção e logo após diminui drasticamente, a fixação péssima! piorou! Mas o aroma maravilhoso.

It's like the original Chloe, with more powder and power! Smells like rose scented baby powder, which I am a shameless glutton for rose scents, it's very mature, and most people don't understand that Chloes DNA in all fragrances that has the rose note isn't jammy but powderier and soapier rose. It's a little silly complaining about it when it's simply one of the key factors that makes a Chloe fragrance, a Chloe fragrance. Has some great lasting power and I love it!

The first time I smelled it I was in love, but after some time I lost the spark. Still - me liking a rose heavy perfume? Well, that's what happens when you love some good old santal. It really smells like a niche fragrance. The woody note is so so so creamy it almost... no, it straight up gives fresh, high quality, organic butter. It doesn't smell like a desert, but it almost does? It's an amazing one - especially for the Chloe line.

Love- hate this. Absolutely excellent scent profile. Very balanced and refined, bright at the top with bergamot, a very unassuming, receding, rose, that somehow still conveys maximum femininity. It's suave and creamy, yet fresh. But...intense???It disappears in seconds, even in the blotting paper! I couldn't justify spending this much in a perfume that evaporates in less than an hour. Please, Chloe, fix this! It's so beautiful!

Imagine you are in a snowing enchanted forest and a cool breeze brushes upon you. This smells heavenly and those woody notes lovers out there, you must try it !! It’s gives people a really cozy and warm feeling and I prefer to wear this just before I sleep at night. The subtle rose scents also makes the perfume a bit more feminine and gives it that Chloè dna. Highly recommend

Perfume simples e lindo, a combinação de rosa e madeira me deixou apaixonado! Quase não sinto os cítricos da abertura, mas sinto um doce fresco e pouco enjoativo. Me faz pensar em lençóis ultramacios e caros, cashmere, buquês de rosa branca displicentemente bem arrumados, móveis polidos de madeiras nobres... e a cor do frasco traduz bem o perfume.

gorgeous, clean-girl rose scent with prominent woody notes, perfect for those days where you want something feminine and youthful but not too sweet and juvenile, even as a vanilla scent lover I have those days :) It projects really well and lasts a looong time on the skin and clothes as well, a compliment getter for sure. :)

This is my baby, my ride or die. The blend and airiness of the sandalwood and rose is a masterpiece. I love that its also more organic, gives it a dimension that you no longer find, except in niche small fragrance houses and ritual religious blends maybe.

I don't get the reviews. This smells like rose. Nothing else. Like a very very realistic rose! I think it's beautiful! Is it worth the price for a quite linear rose? For me yes. If you like to smell like nature try it.

THE rose perfume. Don't understand the clean girl allegations. To me, this is a forest nymph that bathes in spring water, sleeps on moss and anoints herself with rose oil. And I want to be her.

This perfume is amazing but unfortunately doesn't last at all. It's a shame because they found the formula of the prettiest rose and sandalwood and you can smell it only for ten minutes.

Indeed very woody, right from start I smell milky sandalwood supported by cedar. I cannot identify the oak, I assume its there in the pile of wood I'm smelling (I mean it in the best possible way). The dreaded chloesque rose is nowhere to be seen, much to my delight. Rose is there and it's fresh and little soapy. Overall it's a lovely perfume, office safe, but comfy, low key, yet unique, because it's mainly woody. A perfume without jasmine or white flowers. Lasting power is average, projection could be better, but I can smell myself when wearing this and that's good enough for work. I don't think its very intense and also from I remember it is not that similar to Chloe intense edp. That one had balls, lots of intense red roses and tonka.

Lovely scent. Rose-centered but not obviously a rose. Her facets are woods enhanced, especially oak but also sandalwood in their best way. Neroli and bergamot add a bit of glamour, too. Very calm and soothing. The bow is such a fast trick with a normal knot yet it does add a certain charm. If you are allergic to scents or they are too much for you this is the answer. I think it does not have much of a presence. Me scent but enhanced. I prefer it to the Chloe Naturelle which is more vegetal. The woods here are super cute. For a sensitive nose. I catch wafts of it every now and then after 4 hours, which is good, but this is pale. Perfect office scent as this will offend no one. No one will perceive it too, apart from the wearer.

33°C - it is beautiful and gently refreshing. Very fitting. Mainly a woody rose, indeed oak smells like this. With light bergamot touch and maybe a hint of neroli to prolong the freshness. However after half an hour I feel nothing despite generous application on 5 points. Very safe office scent profile. The performance however... The 50ml bottle is worth carrying around. As much as I like the scent I doubt I will repurchase, but I do reach for it relatively often, it is such an universal no brainer in warm weather. There is even a touch of sensuality and a potential for signature. If only the performance was better. Nymph would indeed smell like that.

First wear: Opens fresh with bergamot and neroli but the rose is definitely present. Within a few minutes that tartness calms down and the scent is sweetened by the rose. The scent is mild and natural. I would say this has intimate to moderate sillage. It sits quite close to the skin and after one hour it is a skin scent on me. I don't notice much of the woody notes. Natural rose - yes Intense - no Definitely a delicate scent and I like it a lot. Probably good enough for a full bottle. Maybe. I just wish it lasted longer. (*Mind you. It is autumn in Norway atm and the weather is cold. It may be that this acts differently in warmer temperatures.)

I quite like the scent of this perfume. It’s definitely a two spray-er perfume though. Overall, the woody notes come out the most with almost no detectable rose. The wood comes off as very creamy and earthy, which I really enjoy. However for the $165 price point I’d like for it to project more or last a little longer. I know the natural ingredients have to do with the price trade off, but it’s honestly not enough. You’ll get about 2.5 hours typically 4h at best.

Super fresh and VERY strong to my nose. The rose is so elegant. Reminds me of clean clothes that have been dried outside. A little bit like citrus cleaning products too, but nothing necessarily wrong with that ;D You could say it’s more feminine but I think many people could enjoy a clean scent like this. I prefer a more dark 'wood' fragrance, something less green, but this is nice for spring days.

I was surprised by this fragrance- I expected to be underwhelmed, but I find this quite unique albeit linear. Neroli, rose and oak developing together at different intensities as the fragrance develops altogether. Where others find this perfume incredibly woody, I find that neroli and rose are the dominant notes and oak makes a background feature. That's all.

I feel like I’m tweaking but this smells almost exactly like Dior Priveé Dioriviera? I wear Dioriviera often so I’ve been BUGGIN’ over how similar this is when it dries down. I guess consider this a good dupe? That aside, this is ethereal and lovely. Unobtrusive and good for any occasion, though I wish she stuck around longer.

Very woody and aromatic with the rose note creeping in about 15 minutes after the initial blast. I like it! Like walking through a thick damp forest only to stumble upon a secret rose garden. This is lovely to my nose but my dad said it smelled like ant bait, so definitely not a crowd pleaser or safe blind buy.

This is not what i thought it would be, but in a positive way. It's very woody and creamy, really lovely. It sits like a soft veil around you, and i don't detect any of the famous Chloe rose in it. It was a surprise and i glad that i blind bought it and have it in my small collection.

Very nice. It’s fresh and relaxing. It smells natural and soft, feminine but not girly it’s aquatic and smooth and not overly sweet. It smells a bit green too, like a rose garden. I imagine a romantic, nature loving young lady wearing it. In my opinion, a safe blind buy.

First spray instantly smelled like cucumber and tzatziki! The tiniest hint of rose and citrus and its so well mixed. Im pleasently surprised and like it alot but when and to where do u wear a perfume smelling like cucumber? Haha It lasted like an gour barely

Very similar to Nomade Naturelle EDP, but more floral, with a rosy opening which fades away quite quickly. In fact, the lasting power in general is disappointing... It's beautiful, fresh, with a creamy, woody dry-down, but not worth the price in my opinion.

I got it from work, smells exactly like the lovechild of Byredo’s Pulp and PDF’s Delina. I do enjoy this more than the other rose perfumes I’ve got, it’s not a straight up Rose perfume so I’d suggest something else if that’s what you’re looking for.

Not as woodsy or floral as I had hope, smells more like a creamy lemon with a slight hint of woods on me but it’s still pleasant. Lasts for an insanely long time, I’ll still smell it for a bit even after a shower! Makes a great spring scent :)

It smells like rose and nothing else. This is the least impressive of the chloe perfumes I have. Personally, I find ME rose-based fragrances more impressive.

A simple, pleasant, and gentle scent of a quiet and subtle rose. For me, it sits intimately close to the skin, very fleeting and ethereal.

Wow, this is a strange one. It reminds me of Byredos Pulp, it smells exactly like a bowl of overripe fruit about to go bad. This one is slightly less pungent than Pulp in that sense, and more sweet, it’s not AS ”about to go bad” but very similar impression to my nose. That overripeness. I get a lot of rose but it’s very sweet mixed with that strange fruity smell. Like the bergamot had slightly gone bad or something. There is something appealing about it still, because it’s different. But I don’t want to smell like this.

Stunning, beautiful, velvety, realistic rose opening, scratchy, nose tickling dry down, disappointing (2 hrs) longevity. The EDT Roses de Chloé has much better performance. Sad...

If you love the original this is very different to it - do not blind buy this one before checking it out.

Smells like a candle to me. Soft.

I knew I wasn’t going to like this the second I saw that bottle with that stupid little bow. And guess what? I was right. Some call it “elegant,” “classic,” even “refined.” I call it full-on grandma zone. Even my actual grandma said it smelled “old” lol. That’s the review. I could stop there. Powdery rose, vague bergamot, a smudge of neroli, and that vanilla-oak drydown that wants to be creamy but just ends up smelling like rose-scented lotion left open since 1993. Sweet, flat, joyless. There’s nothing to ground this. It just drifts off in a puff of expensive greeny-beige nothing. And for something labeled “intense”? Yeah, okay. This thing lasts maybe an hour. Two if you’re lucky and not breathing too hard. Half a point for being “100% natural origin.” Minus half for the delusion it’s worth that cuckoo price tag. 👒🥀 1/5. Like the ribbon: all frill, no thrill. Intensely unimpressive, Chloé.

I never thought Chloe perfumes would give me a headache until I tried this one. It's heavy and powdery in an unpleasant way, as if the roses in it have been locked in a car under intensive sun and without air conditioning for 8 hours. If you think it is a stronger version of the Naturelle EDP you are wrong. Actually this one doesn't give the refreshing and innocent vibe of other scents in the same bottles from Chloe. It doesn't smell fresh; it smells tired.

Woody and slightly sweet (from the sandalwood) rose. Very beautiful. Opens with fresher, dewy rose note and develops to a woody, creamy, sweet scent. The drydown is pretty unique, I guess the oak tree note plays its part as it is not very common. I don't remember how Chloe EDP Intense smells like, can't compare, but this is a bit different than the original Chloe EDP, the opening is somewhat similar. Expensive though!

Smells very sharp and synthetic to me in the opening. There's one of the wood accords I don't like in the opening, probably the oak tree, it kind of reminds me a little bit of palo santo incense, that I don't like, even though its not smoky, but it almost smells sour. Its not growing on me unfortunately. I usually like the Chloé flankers, but this one ́s not for me. Happy that I only sampled it, I wont purchase.

I’m sorry, I have to give this a no. Opening was a lovely breeze of bergamot and neroli that promised all nice things but after that it morphed into something very sweet and vaguely fruity. Very much like My Way, Paradoxe and So Scandal. A good scrub left a nice woody scent that faded in next two hours or so.

The supposed rosenote in this perfume is undetectable to me. It only smells of citrus and very woody. It is quite a basic and boring fragrance in my opinion. The longevity is not great. Lasts about 2 hours. I usually like Chloe perfumes but this one was disappointing. Rating: 4/10

Beautiful ingredients, it has a fantastic scent but it is unnoticeable after several minutes. Shame for that price.

This is a no for me, thank god i only used a free sample and didn't purchace a full bottle. The smell is very sharp to me and has an annoying woody hint with an overwhelming citrusy vibe. As for the rose, it is not detectible by my nose. The bright point about it for those who will buy it,is that its longevity is moderate which bothered me because i regreted using it already.

My first time sampling this was at the Cosme store in Harajuku, Japan. It was def a love at first sniff! I ended up getting just the travel size of it there. I normally hate rose-heavy scents, but this is different! It's creamy and soft yet woody and sweet! Such a unique rose IMO. I love the scent but its longevity isn't good enough for me to justify the price tag... **NOTE! Just found this on Jomashop for $80 (3.4oz)! Such a steal. Now THAT price tag I will justify!!!

WOW! The prior version (original naturelle with the lighter green ribbon) was a 'meh', its core rose was too bright and ditzy without the amber soapy base to anchor it down like in the classic signature. Here the rose is supported by citrus and dry wood at first, which gradually give way to a gossamer-like layer of creamy sandalwood. Effortlessly pretty. Longevity and projection is comparable to a Jo Malone cologne, but I honestly don't mind.

It smells like the herb dill but something about it makes me obsessed and i like it, different than usual woman perfumes i am used to. I want it. It is very recognizable even after smelling many perfumes i can smell it clearly. However i am not sure if i want to smell like this. My opinion changed this smells like old lady no no no i dont like it
