Chloé Rose Tangerine

I got a bit roped into trying this by a nice sales lady pushing product, but I ended up loving it. I didn't buy it as I wanted to see how it would wear all day rather than going off ten minutes, but now that I have worn it this is going on my wish-list. For me, the opener was a fresh and dazzling tangerine scent, but with the citrus elements balanced by a hint of rose and a slight meatier scent I couldn't place (possibly the black current.) Over the hours it balanced really well, into a soft tangerine that didn't come off as tropical but feminine, mixed with a stronger rose vibe like pressed petals that I loved - I almost went back right then to grab a bottle. Over six hours later the scent was still very nice, though the sillage had decreased and I needed to get a few inches from my wrist to pick it up. But it had changed again, to a more down to Earthy, warm, woody citrus. It was very calming, and unique to anything I've tried (I think this is the first Chloe perfume I've tried at all.) It easily lasted over eight hours, though near the end it was a very close Earthy scent with just a hint of orange. I loved it start to finish though, and found it unique and surprising. It felt a lot more 'well-thought-out' than many perfumes I have tried, with a story from beginning to end that I found captivating. It managed to start feminine and bright, flirty but not seductive, then move to refined and confident, and finally evolve into something mature and relaxing.

I LOVE the tangerine 🍊 blast of zesty freshness I get from this (which I blind bought by the way) knowing I’d love it. It’s backed up by the rose and blackcurrant giving it some body and character in the background. It is very well blended, that I feel that the main co-star of this perfume, the tangerine, is what I actually get as the main scent. The tangerine is what I wanted and is what I get. And is contrasted with the Chloe clean/ soapy/ rose sparkly essence. This note makes me feel joy. It doesn’t last but I have an aveda tangerine essential oil i will use with it when I’m feeling more organised. I think that will help. I’ve always loved this style of Chloe bottle although I’ve never owned the classics only the nomade naturelle which I loved initially and is still special but is especially sweet and I am not really a sweet fragrance wearer but I do still love to smell it from the bottle. This however is fresh and classy combined in perfect unison. If you enjoy citrus fragrances that are perfumey but not heavy you should enjoy this, even if longevity is somewhat lacking. I’ve already bought a back up. That’s how confident I am that I’ll get through this. Enjoy 🍊

This is the first perfume that I have ever found that reminds me of the wonderful discontinued Victoria’s Secret Victoria Eau de Perfume Cologne from 1991 which was my signature perfume for over a decade, Even though this perfume smells heavily of rose, there is something in the dark honey-ish undertone that it settles on my skin that is EXACTLY like Victoria. For me, that makes this a winner. I wish the longevity was a bit longer like Victoria though. The silage and longevity are less, which makes this ideal for the workplace. Some people comment they can’t smell the tangerine; I only smell distinct tangerine for about 2 minutes and then it settles into citrus that is balanced nicely by the other elements. I think this is a VERY well balanced perfume with rose settling at the top, but not in a sickeningly sweet way. The middle and bottom notes anchor the rose in such a way that is attractive and sensible, with a hint of sexy. As long as you like rose, this should be a safe blind buy.

I grabbed a sample of this because I love the Chloe EDP and Roses de Chloe. This tangerine version smelled very citrusy and sharp on paper, so I wasn't expecting to like it. However, it's really lovely on the skin. It's a warmer version of Roses de Chloe to me. It smells very summer-y, I get lots of coconut at the top even though that's not listed as a note. It has a bit of a sunscreen smell, but still has the light fresh floral quality of the other Chloes. I'm surprised no other reviews mention this smelling beachy or sunscreeny because that is EXACTLY what I get from this fragrance. It actually reminds me of any generic "beach" fragrance but heavy on the rose. Perhaps I'm just associating the orange notes with sunscreen? Like the Roses de Chloe EDT, this is overpriced considering the longevity you get. It starts to fade after about 2 hours, then lingers as a skin scent for another few hours. The scent is FBW but I wouldn't pay full price.

rose and tangerine, summer, skin test the opening is similar to when you open a pair of new shoes in their box, not leather, but that (not terrible) 'shoe' scent+box. let it be for an hour, and oh my, you have a make upy, dense, rosey, clean, delight. perhaps its the cedar and berry, tangerine in the opening which on my skin is weird, sniffing the nozzle is very nice, a tangeriney- bright non dry citrus, clean, powdery, dry rose. skin its not. i think its me, i had the same issue with another chloe. the rose part itsself reminds me of the absolute. its dense, dry, make up powdery, rose. about an hour previous i kinda got vibes like i do from a YSL paris flanker i have which is all stems and rose branch - you gotta have a really good nose to feel the rose (or, again, could just be my charming skin). opening weird, will try again on skin, rosey make up, clean - but not sharp at all great sillage, i get a bit more citrus off that.

The first notes released by spraying it from the bottle are exactly those of Chloé, this has already been highlighted and I agree. Then something happens, the fragrance warms, dries, almost of dry foliage and light dust. Rose disappears completely. That is, it is ideally represented by the stems and leaves. Tangerine takes place of the rose. But don't think about the taste of juicy mandarin but rather imagine the moment in which it's peeled, that slightly bitter scent dissolved while fills the air. As its suspended mid air for hours, like it never completely blends with the skin, this allows it freshness like just sprinkled. I love Chloé immensely, I thought it could never be outclassed, and I thought that until I met Rose Tangerine, and its being simply superb.

This one is really good. it definitely has the Chloe DNA, and for some, at first scent, they might not be able to get it. that was my case. I tried it again one of these nights, after shower. at first, there is a strong note of tangerine, citrusy and juicy. then it comes the rose. but it is not a rose like roses de Chloe, I would describe as a petal being crushed and you get that fresh rose smell. the dry down is pretty simple, tangerine citrusy and the petal scent mixed. good longevity on my skin, poor sillage. but still, a must have for Chloe perfume lovers. to the ones that love the Chloe edp, this has its DNA, but a lot less serious and a lot more luminous, I would not say fresh, but light. there it is.

I adore this scent but because of my warm body chemistry, the smell of tangerine struggles to make it past the heavy floral scent so it's definitely not "fresh" on me. The staying power is incredibly weak as well, even for an EDT. My 'Blooming Bouquet' by Dior lasts longer than this one. I am however addicted to this scent. The floral smells more like a fresh garden instead of potpourri which I love so I may try getting my hands on the 5ml travel size bottle. If I end up really loving it I may consider the 30ml in the future, but the longevity and projection is extremely poor on me. I do highly recommend testing it on your skin. If you have a cooler skin temperature, this might work for you :)

Omg - this is gorgeous! I kept forgetting to try it when I was anywhere that sells it, so finally I just ordered it. I wish I bought the big bottle. Next time. Who knows why some notes hit some sweet spot in our brains and ignite euphoria! I wish I knew exactly what they were...but, luckily, my whatever activates my dopamine is abundant in this. It smells so...euphoric! Sparkling, happy, fun, vacationey...I love Roses de Chloe but this...this is joy in a bottle. On me this is very pure, sweet tangerine, with an undertone of gentle pink rosebuds. This will be an no all time favorite!

I like this scent very much. Maybe it's not the best, the most suprising or the most exqusite fragrance. But definetley it's one of the most comforting. At least for me. On my skin Rose Tangerine turn into rosy-peachy combo with hint of musk. You can almost feel this peachy, fluffy skin of fruit. Decent longevity (6h approx.), good for work, not to loud - will not cause any unplesant sensation/migrene, not offend anyone. I could wallow in this peachy cloud forever ... but my husband can't stand it :(. All he can get from Rose Tangerine it's "stinky rose". What a pity!

I loved it the first time I smelled it. On me it smells like a chamomile tea, so fresh and natural and makes me relaxed and happy. It's the only scent that works for me among all Chloe perfumes. I'm glad that I picked it up by accident. After 2 hours, it starts to smell like the original Chloe, but more woody and less sweet. It lasts relatively long and becomes a skin scent after 2 hours. And it's perfect for me because I can't stand strong perfumes. I have tried it multiple times and really liked it, will get a big bottle when I get a good price.

Love this fragrance! I like it so much better than Chloe EDP. It is a beautiful mix of the citrus and rose components. I don't smell the cedar only citrus and rose. The opening is so bright and gorgeous! Smells great on the scent strip as well as on my skin. In a way, I blind bought a bottle because I only smelled it on the scent strip so I went to Sephora again today to test it on my skin. I am so happy that it worked out for me. I know other people may think differently but this is a successful blind buy for me.

Very weather dependent for me, for some reason. I strongly associate it with spring and usually with summer, meaning I usually like it when it’s 15+°C outside. Wind and open air also suit this perfume. It’s very long lasting and with strong sillage. Has some sparkling soapy quality to it, like most Chloé rose perfumes. I’m not a big fan of solo rose in perfumes, but I like this one: it’s not dry, sour, heavy or migraine-inducing, but rather fresh and citrusy in a moderately soapy way.

For me, by far the best Chloe scent in this particular bottle shape. Fresh, zesty, clean, with a hint of greenery. Love to wear this as a light inoffensive everyday perfume for the office. Also the perfect kind of clean girl scent. Perfect for wearing post workout after you’ve showered and are leaving the gym. Feels like the right type of thing for that. I like layering an citrus heavy body spray if I’m looking to bump up the subtle tangerine note.

My mouth is watering just thinking of this fragrance, no lie. I love the original EDP, and I got a sample of this one when purchasing something else, and to me, they smell basically the same, the only distinction being that the designers of Rose Tangerine managed to replicate the explosive juiciness of the individual pulps you feel when you bite down into a tangerine for this fragrance. Definitely a younger, fresher version of the original. Yum!

Chloé Rose Tangerine takes everything I love about the original Chloé and gives it a brighter, more carefree twist. The rose remains elegant and feminine, while the citrus adds a sparkling freshness that feels joyful and radiant. On my skin it stays soft and airy, never becoming sharp or overly sweet. Effortless, uplifting, and incredibly easy to wear. This is the kind of fragrance that instantly puts me in a good mood.

Tengo solo una muestra pequeña, pero me sorprendió tantísimo cuando lo aplique y lo primero que vino a mi mente fue agarrar un ramo de flores y rosas y pegar mi nariz en el para luego inhalar profundamente. Se siente tan natural, tan orgánico. Como si realmente hubiesen rosas encapsuladas dentro de esta botella. Es suave, es girly, es fresco, es rosa, grita feminidad y suavidad a todo pulmón.

Gorgeous! Sparkling, joyful, enjoyable, and vibrant. On me, this is a very clean, sweet orange with a delicate pink rosebud undertone. Although it smells like fresh dewy pink roses, its longevity leaves much to be desired at the end of the day. Tangerine, for whatever reason, seems to stick to the skin better. It's extremely stunning and a must-have!

This is a huge improvement on the original, and I liked the original, which was my signature scent from its release in 2008 for about three years. I can definitely smell the roses and the tangerines, which serve to brighten and freshen the scent, but the Chloe DNA is still there. Really happy to have this in my collection.

My first Chloe and I knew I would love it (it was a blind buy). It is so elegant, delicate, and uplifting. Roses and tangerines are here, but none of them are suffocating or harsh. It's so well-balanced! Sits close to the skin, but is long-lasting (especially on clothes). I can't stop sniffing at it! Très chic!🧡🌹🍊

Very pretty for those who want a rose fragrance where the rose takes a back seat. On me this is mostly tangerine, but it's a great tangerine. Juicy, pulpy, with a hint of bitterness you may find in the rind. A great find for citrus lovers who prefer a garden-fresh citrus over a candied citrus.

Got a sample with an order online and came straight on here to read reviews... I am so surprised that I like this so much. Its a rose floral citrus right enough and is so nice to wear! I really enjoyed this and I'm going to buy it next year as my spring/summer perfume for sure.

I really love this. I really smell the rose in it. At least on my skin. I've noticed that I tend to like perfumes that are flowers with some citrus. This is it. If you're not a floral person, this isn't for you. I love it though. Very pretty. I spray it in my hair.

This is my new Spring fav! I’ve literally been reaching for it every morning. I love a perfume that I can spray on my clothes before work, and still be able to smell it on my way home. Really pretty and fresh. Reminds me a lot of the original Chloe. Love it ❤️

WAY better than the original Chloe! The original Chloe is beautiful, but more powdery than it is floral. Chloe Rose Tangerine made me feel so pretty and happy...it’s so fresh, youthful, and rosy. Springtime in a bottle.

I agree with the previous comment. If you're willing to wait for the dry down it's gorgeous....the tangerine is a uplifting one, it has a herbal seaside note. Best from the Chloe range.

You can definitely tell this is a Chloe flanker upon first whiff. Within seconds sparkles of tangerine and black current twinkle around the rose. It's backup bottle worthy.

What can I say? It smells like rose tangerine. The tangerine shines through more on me. Sweet, fresh and juicy.

Oh God ladies, this is everything a perfume should be! Smells like a straight flower shop, heavenly!

It has an aromatherapeutic vibe in warmer autumn and colder spring days.

I am new to the house of Chloe. I have never smelled the original Chloe edp, so this is just a review for the Chloe Rose Tangerine edt. I put the perfume on around 7:30 this morning. It was a soft rose with a hint of green sweetness that morphed into a more robust rose as it heated on my skin. It still remained lightly sweetened by the tangerine and soft wine note of the black currant. By 11:50 on my skin it is very sweet but on my clothing the rose still dominates. Overall the affect is quite lovely. The rose is a bit powdery like the Miss Dior Rose N'Roses Roller Pearl (not to be confused with the edt...this one is the oil roller). I don't think I need both scents in my collection, but so far out of the two Chloe Rose Tangerine edt, is the better. However both are nice and long lasting on my dryer skin type. It is 3:30 in the afternoon, and the sweetness on my skin is still there, and a soft fluffy rose like a halo remains.

I LOVE this scent, it is so gorgeous and sophisticated. Very soft and feminine. I have been wearing it for work until my bottle ran out today; which brings me to my next point: Sadly, the longevity is very poor, I had to keep spraying and dousing myself all day long to feel like I was actually wearing any perfume and thus used up a 50 ml bottle in less than 2 weeks. I love the opening and the dry down, but on me it lasts maybe 30 mins tops. When I spend that amount of money on perfume, I need and want good performance. I love Chloè so much, I use the Signature EDP and the L'eau as well, and they perform much better. The other flankers such as Fleur and Roses de Chloè don't last on me either, so I really wish they would create some intense versions of their Chloè signatures soon, as the scents in all of them are so gorgeous, feminine and sophisticated. Chloé, please let your next flanker be an EDP intense version!!

While not a perfect rose scent by any means, Rose Tangerine is a great improvement on Roses de Chloe in terms of longevity and throw. It still sits fairly close to the skin, but the rose note stays around for much longer. It is slightly sweeter and obviously has a great zing from the citrus, but it is still a rose-focused perfume. The two smell similar enough to me that one would not need both, and if I had to choose between the two Rose Tangerine would win hands down to come home to my collection. Of course the bottle is lovely and would look gorgeous on any vanity or dressing table, but the scent is pretty and also approachable enough that those looking to dip their toe in rose scents might really enjoy this one.

This smells identical to fleur de parfum (just another flanker) to me with the same sharp, sparkling top notes and slightly green middle. If I have to distinguish the two, I would say the dry-down of this is a frosted fruit candy, while the other smells more starchy and creamy. I love exploring the flankers of the original chloe edp which I love but unfortunately seems to be worn by literally everyone around me. So far I prefer, in this order, l'eau de chloe (the green one, earthy and interesting), roses de chloe (beautiful vibrant rose), chloe edt (clean soapy rose) and chloe l'eau (the light pink one, watery lychee rose) all more than rose tangerine. The longevity is on par with the original, longer than l'eau.

I really like this flanker. The opening was very green and grassy but this isn’t supposed to be a green fragrance at all, oddly enough. When it dries down, it’s just a soft, pleasant, classy, citrusy but not sharp, and not too sweet fragrance. It’s not mind blowing or anything but if you like fresh roses then it’s a great one. I prefer it to the original Chloé EDP. I think I also prefer it to Stella which is also a similar sort of fragrance but more sour and citrusy. I can definitely see myself using this year round. I can’t seeing it offending anyone so it’s the kind of fragrance that can be worn to work. Great for the daytime and warm weather especially. Planning to purchase a full bottle of this at some point.

I think Rose Tangerine is a better, more updated version of Roses de Chloe. I love the scent of the latter, as it smells like fresh dewy pink roses, but the longevity leaves something to be desired at the end of the day. Tangerine, somehow, does seem to hold onto the skin better. Scent-wise, they are about 90% similar to my nose--tangerine is a bit zestier, with a little more bounce, while Roses de Chloe is a little more single-note. I've gotten back into rose scents a little lately, so I am glad that I've gotten to smell this one. I can see now why Roses de Chloe has been pushed to the side, and I think it was smart of Chloe to launch this as its own scent rather than just reformulate Roses.

This is classic Chloe DNA : sharp, fresh and a good mix of floral and fruits. I'm not a fan of tangerines in perfume but I do like this one, it settles in very nicely. After 2 hours, you get this nice light woody/ambery scent. But it is quite light, so the tenacity isn't the best. At first there's a good sillage, but it weakens pretty fast. Great for office, school or day-wear in general. I wouldn't buy a bottle because this isn't my kind of perfume exactly. As someone who doesn't like citrusy perfumes that much, it is pretty great!

I've currently got Chloe EDP on one wrist and Chloe Rose Tangerine on the other. They're definitely similar but Rose Tangerine is far better in my opinion. I've never been a huge fan of the original. It's way too soapy and bitter. It burns the back of my throat when I smell it. Rose Tangerine, on the other hand, is like they took the original, removed the bitterness I don't like, and then added some juicy citrus. It's absolutely lovely, like Chloe had a glow up. If you don't like the original, give this a try!

As someone already mentioned, it smells like a rose shampoo: very refreshing rose with black currant and a little spice. The tangerine is undetectable on me. Three-to-four sprays are enough to last a few hours, and you can definitely smell it on yourself. On me, the scent barely changes; it dries down practically the same, just a little warmer and spicier. An overall lovely fragrance, one I could see many liking, but I would not repurchase it, as I prefer some sweetness.

The sparkling, ticklish and zesty version of the original, which is already a masterpiece to me. It performs a little less well, and as you would expect from an EDT, but stays on the skin on the same way as the OG. Is it a necessary addition if you already have the original? I don't think so, but this one is perfect if you want a slightly punchier version. Or a big Chloé fan <3 In any case: lovely :)

For an EDT, this is unusually strong right out of the gate. Using very little, the scent is all around me. It does fade out as you would expect for an EDT and within a couple of hours, it's much softer. I find it more floral than fruity, fresh, elegant and feminine. A perfect, pretty scent for everyday wear in the warmer spring and summer months with that lovely rose you know from Chloe fragrances.

This is my first Chloé perfume and as a rose lover I really like it. To me it mainly smells like rose, I'm surprised no one has mentioned that this has an element of powder. I don't really get the tangerine in this. This honesty reminds me of Amazing Grace Ballet Rose but slightly fruity and powdery. This was a blind buy and I dont regret it but the staying power is my problem with this, it's weak.

I love it, this is currently my signature spring fragrance. All notes there are so gorgeous - tangerine, black currant and strong sharp cedar opening. Settles in to a cosy warm woody scent, still with a hint of quite sharp cedar note. I only wish this EDT lasted longer, after couple of hours the scent completely disappears. Still I love this fragrance so much I invested in a full size product.

I quite like it, although it wasn’t what I expected. It opens up very green and fresh, then settles into a powdery rose enveloped in a warm, realistic tangerine. I expected it to be zesty and fresh, but instead it’s green-to-powdery and slightly sweet. The sillage isn’t crazy, this is more of a skin scent, but lasting power is good, sometimes I can still smell it on my wrist the next day.

It is very similar to the original Chloé and to its flankers. However, most of those turn quite green on me, especially L'eau and the original one. This one remains soapy and floral all-throught, there is no hint of a green note. I really can't make out any tangerine, and especially no black currant. It is not sweet at all, there is just an absence of greenness, if that makes sense.

This is a lovely and elegant rose scent like from years back, although I can smell something green in there. The blackcurrant is somewhat faint and I can barely smell the tangerine, but overall this is a scent I enjoy sniffing. It lasts for about four hours before it turns into a skin scent, but when I sprayed it on the shawl I was wearing I could still smell it the next day.

The first five minutes of this on my wrist smelled a lot like Roses de Chloe (which I like, but don’t want another perfume of the same scent) and then it turned into a brighter, sparkling, sweet rose that’s just so uplifting and refreshing. I’ll keep wearing this sample until I run out. Hope I have enough to form a good decision of whether or not it’s full bottle worthy.

This is an ok perfume from Chloe. Not much staying power or strength and hardly any sillage like the original EDP. Smell is a bit like Roses de Chloe but with some citrus notes. Roses de Chloe is a favourite of mine, I don’t want that discontinued because of this new launch. I prefer the freshly cut rose smell to this orangey smell.

A very citrusy and refreshing take on rose. It perfectly captures both rose and tangerine essences-if a rose and a tangerine had a baby, this would be it. The tangerine makes the rose more "modern," so I think even those who typically aren't rose fans would like it. A bright daytime fragrance for any age group.
