Herba Mimosa

This perfume is a mimosa girl's dream! It is very realistic and floral, as well as herbaceous with a hint of powder. I can't smell the wood in this so much, which is great to me, since I'm not a fan of woody perfumes. It smells like the early spring and just like a mimosa tree forest. It's a very feminine perfume and only slightly sweet, the floral notes taking over in a vigorous burst of yellow floral freshness. This could be worn in summer and fall, too! It isn't too light or too strong and can be smelt an arm's length away. It also lasts about 4 hours and 45 minutes roughly on my skin. I don't find it too heady or overwhelming and I think you could wear this at work and at daytime events easily, but it isn't a boring scent at all. It's unique for sure, since a lovely and true solifore mimosa is so rare in perfumery. This definitely has some oomph to it and no one else will smell like you. Certainly not your basic Good Girl or My Way perfume! 9/10 for sure!

I like this green iteration of mimosa a lot. It is linear but refined and feminine, not overly powdery, a little bit oily and just right for every day wear IMO. Perfect for when I want to be polite and understated, and I think a natural scent like this stands out in an office or indoor setting even more. I suspect it will be best in cooler weather, but I don't think it will be as heavy as JM Mimosa & Cardamom feels in hot climate. The flacon also feels very luxe, weighty and elegantly designed. There are no plastic stickers on this bottle; the information is engraved onto the glass which is a detail that contributes to the luxurious quality. I personally think the flacon design reflects the Herba Mimosa jus perfectly. It is display-worthy.

Soft, fluffy and perfectly, elegant. Mimosa, or acacia, blooms beginning mid-winter. We had acacia trees in our neighborhood when I was a little girl, so I have a strong association between this flower and dry, cold, windy days. It is the quintessential winter floral note to my nose and Herba Mimosa captures it like no other mimosa focused fragrance I’ve ever smelled. It is the promise of spring during the darkest, coldest time of the year and I adore it! Longevity is mid and projection is gentle, but the sillage, much like a winter wind carrying the scent of the flowers down from the treetops, is intoxicating.

I blind bought this one and didn’t know what to expect. I can’t say I know what Mimosa smells like, although I do recognise the scent, To me this smells of clean sheets hanging on a washing line, swaying in the summer breeze. This is gorgeous! It’s a clean, almost cotton fresh type of scent. I love it! I can’t fault this collection at all. I’ve been really impressed with most of the Atelier perfumes and have many from this line already. I love them all.

Soft sunlight in a bottle. This one feels like a warm, lazy afternoon in the countryside. Fluffy, powdery mimosa with a green edge that makes it feel fresh and airy not stuffy. Got this beauty at the airport in Amsterdam and I couldn’t be more pleased!! Perfect for Spring and Summer with surprisingly good longevity for such a shy floral fragrance! To me, the mimosa of my childhood is spot on and I am thrilled to finally have this in my collection 🌱💛✨✨

Lovely light creamy floral. Jo Malone mimosa & cardamom had been on my list for a while, but I tried this in an airport recently and loved it. I’ve just bought it and can’t stop smelling, the sillage is lovely, not too light, not too strong. A great everyday floral perfume.

Very light scent that I assumed would be of short longevity and skin-scent level silage. The scent instead strongly project its light and beautiful scent. The longevity on clothing proved to last more that a day. Quite a surprise, really.

Again very natural smelling mimosa alike its counterparts. The whole collection is very calming and soothing as the airy scents surround you like breeze of the spring and summer days. There isn't one that I dislike in this range.

The scent itself is stunning. Absolutely adore it. But it lasts 2 hours max on my skin - are you kidding me? For that price tag?

Beautiful star whose lights dim too fast....

A whispering scent! This mimosa is especially delicate and airy as most other Atelier des Fleurs fragrances are, like brushing past a cluster of mimosa blossoms on a breezy day. The yellow powderiness is the star here, soft with just the faintest fruity sweetness weaving through. Leaning into a mellow, almost powdered-egg-yolk-like blurriness, this is like no other mimosa fragrance—take for example fresher, watery take of something like Amouage’s Love Mimosa. Chloe's is especially light, almost translucent, and you can just imagine the sensation of rubbing fine pollen between your fingertips—the soft texture, the subtle floral aroma, the bare butteriness. A truly gentle, nostalgic take on mimosa.

As a fan of mimosa I had to try this. I never found a place where I could sample it even in the biggest city in NA so I ordered online. I live dangerously. I blind buy perfumes. Somehow I'm lucky because most of the times I'm happy with the result. This one is straight realistic mimosa. A bit sharp and green. Not overly powdery as most mimosa perfumes. The staying power is spectacular for a delicate floral perfume. It's an all occasion, feminine and distinguished perfume. Simple but great. The quality is there and if you like mimosa this is a great perfume.

YES! She is the one and only! Perfectly balanced powderiness and freshness, no cologne wateriness. And so long-lasting! Excellent performance. Very natural sounding - what's the catch? There is no catch, pure perfume magic. I've been looking for real mimosa for a long time and gave up. And then I accidentally found it, the very one, these fluffy yellow balls) However, on my skin it is still more floral than green-herbaceous. I think it should also be good for layering. And yes, I wear this right away in winter - it turns out great)

To my nose, this is an upscale rendering of Mr. Bubble bubble bath liquid, from when I was a kid. If you know, you know. Bright pink bottle, goofy Mr. Bubble character in the front. So this comes across to me as nostalgic, bright, cheery; but ultimately a little simplistic to be top shelf.

So pure and refined. A true pleasure for the senses. Almost whispy and airy like. Doesn't turn musty/dusty as many mimosa fragrances do for me. Has a beautifully discreet spiciness in the heart notes. Simple, sheer and subtle. Longevity is about 2-3 hours.

There is a transluscent and airy quality to the Atelier Des Fleurs series and so, in total Chloe fashion, much heavier or indolic florals are diluted and transformed into an enchanting and gossamer creation of their former selves. In Love Story a heady orange blossom was turned into a spritely and demure, ultra feminine creation while in Atelier Des Fleurs Lavanda a usually medicinal lavender was turned into a charming and ethereal scent. Here, Atelier Des Fleurs Herba Mimosa, is no different. Chloe takes a usually heady and polarizing mimosa note and folds it into this airy, feathery translucency, lightening what is usually a very bold floralcy. The result is a very frilly and petally (as mentioned) sensation, dancing and swirling in airy vibes of delicate femininity like that of the unfurling and whirling of a tulle tutu skirt. It is elegant, dainty and angelic.

This was a rather pleasant surprise whilst browsing Chloè perfumes at Selfridges. In the midst of the chaotic perfume entrance room (really, Selfridges, Xerzoff at the entrance?) this was instead a gentle greeting. Soft, light, and creamy with commendable sillage. While this doesn't scream 'main character' it says 'let me take care of this for you'. This is by far my favourite of this series following their Narcisus one. If you prefer a lactonic mimosa over green/acidic mimosa this is for you. An easy gift option, as it is inoffensive and I would suggest to any age group. All in all a fancy clean body lotion effect that can be worn in all seasons. Chloè produce a 50ml and 150ml options and I will be investing soon.

What they have listed as mimosa and what we have in the states are two very different forms. We have Mimosa trees that bloom pink frilly flowers that will usually grow very long bean pods as seeds. They bloom in the summer and smell absolutely divine. Nothing like the yellow Mimosa shown. So when I smelled this perfume it threw me off as it wasn’t anything I was expecting it to smell like. It has a nice floral smell that doesn’t last long. Nothing spectacular, but also not the Mimosa of the states.

This perfume evoked an emotional reaction in me I rarely get from most fragrances. I do get an herbaceous, stemmy green and fresh quality that instantly gave me an image of walking through a forest path lined with flowers. It was beautiful and nostalgic. Because it's so photorealistic I'm not sure I'd wear this as a perfume. It's not a perfume so much as an olfactory experience.

I can't find where to try this perfume. Could you tell me if it looks like Jo Malone's Mimosa? Is it very green? Is the drydown creamy or powdery? I love Mimosa, but I'm afraid to buy blind.

She smells exactly like Hugo Boss Pure Purple Body Lotion and it brought back memories from 20+ years ago. Short-lived but lovely.
