Love Eau Intense

Love Intense is quite an intriguing creation. The original Love is one of the better designer scents released the past decade. An effervescent and easy going fragrance, composed of purple flowers and an elegant, powdery backbone. It is quite a shame that, along with its flankers, Love is discontinued. Even though I like the original a lot and would actually wear it, despite it's uber feminine status; it's the equivalent of wearing a hyacinth mascot costume which shouts "Look at me!', simply because of it's nuclear longevity and sillage - it's too much for me personally. I'd rather much wear the Intense flanker. It dials down on the sillage and soapy flowers, and replaces them with vanilla, tolu balsam and musk. The opening actually reminds me of Licor 43; I guess it's the iris and heliotrope combined with the vanilla. It's powdery, floral but also balsamic - it also has a nutty, almondy feeling, provided by the heliotrope. The vanilla in Intense is more of the vanilla extract kind, that gooey, brown liquid you would add to your cakes. It's dark, sweet but it also has a bitter facet. After the booze-like opening fades, a swooning trio of purple flowers shows up, with lilac being the most noticeable. It's not as hyper floral as in the original Love. I can also sense a bit of hyacinth, but the lilac is most prominent to me. It merges beautifully with the opening, balancing floral notes with powdery ones. It is never too sweet or overpowering, though. The drydown is the best part of the fragrance. The florals start to fade and the musk appears. It gives Intense it's fluffy and clean character, whereas the vanilla and tolu balsam increase the balsamic aspect of Intense. The end result is a powdery floral, resting on a cloud of musk and dark vanilla with leathery aspects. Longevity is good, around 6-8 hours for me. Sillage is considerably lighter when compared to the original Love (which is a good thing for me). It hovers around me for a good 4 hours, before turning into a skin scent. Somehow it actually reminds me of Gucci EdP, launched in 2002. It has that same sensual vanilla and floral combination. The Gucci is a lot more subdued, spicy and leathery though. You could consider Intense to be it's more upbeat, daytime sister; being more floral and clean. Love Intense is a really good fragrance, and I'd advise you to pick it up before it completely disappears and prices will skyrocket for this little gem.

I Looooooooove this fragrance!! Totally divine and a really sexy scent that makes me feel like the ultimate woman :)) It's a warm fragrance with a soft but intense luxury amber note, sweet vanilla/almond and a touch of iris. The powdery note is well balanced with all notes in the perfume, creating a gorgeous iris-vanilla/almond balsamic fragrance. Really long lasting and such a yummy scent. I'm a big fan of the hole Chloe Love line, but compared to the original Chloe Love this scent is more sophisticated, sexy and intense.... at the same time very modern!! It's a winner :-)) MUST HAVE AT HOME AT ALL TIME!! Jag äääääälskar doften! Helt gudomlig, en riktigt sexig doft som får mig att känna sig som den ultimata kvinnan :)) Det är en varm doft med en mjuk men intensiv lyxig ambernot, söt vanilj / mandel och en touch av iris. Den pudriga tonen är väl balanserad med alla delar i parfymen, vilket skapar en underbar iris-vanilla/almond balsamic doft. Sitter hela dagen och doftar gudomligt!! Jag är ett stort fan av hela Chloe Love serien, men jämfört med den orginalet Chloe Love doftar denna mer sofistikerad, sexigt och intensivt .... samtidigt väldigt modernt! Detta är en vinnare :) MÅSTE HA HEMMA HELA TIDEN!

I remember the first time I smelled it (I had a sample), it disappointed me a little bit: I found that the powdery dust that I loved so much in the classic Love here was a bit "ruined" by a slightly bitter note, annoying to my nose. So I gave the sample away! But now I've just received it in a swapping, and I could easy try it on my skin; so I realized that this note is very pleasant on my skin, and it gives to the entire composition an unusual(by my standards!)and refined touch. It'is perhaps balsam of Peru note that gives this light leathery effect. And that's why the Chloe fragrance recalled to my mind another scent in which the powdery notes are accompanied with the note of leather: Putain de Palace of Etat Libre d'Orange (although in this case the powdery notes are those of rose and violet, while in Chloe they're given by iris, hyacinth and heliotrope). I also found this Chloe a little bit similar to Malle Lipstick Rose, for its dust and "cosmetic" creaminess, even if in the Malle fragrance you can distinctly smell the violet rose. For me, this is an amazing fragrance, but not so more intense than the classic Love.

I recently purchased Love, Chloe eau Intense. I own and love other Chloe perfumes such as Chloe Chloe EDP, Chloe l'eau Chloe. Chloe EDP and L'eau Chloe are rose centered. Love, Chloe eau Intense in my opinion is a spicy floral. I wore it today for the first extended period of time and I am happy! I have been looking for a signature and this may be it. I sprayed about 5 healthy sprays total....one on each wrist, behind each ear and one spray on my decollatage. At first to me it seemed a bit over-powering but as I was leaving for work my husband commented twice on how good I smelled. Hmm...that's a good sign. My hubby usually doesn't tell me that unless I have some sickly sweet gourmand like Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy on, which I keep around just for him. I kept getting wafts of this perfume for about 8-9 hours at work. Again, a little overwhelming at first then spicy, almost Big Red gum, in the middle with lovely sweet spice and then dried purple flowers with a hint of sweetness for the dry down. Hopefully I have described it correctly, in my humble opinion anyway. I really like it so far....

As I am wearing this today on an autumn day I felt the need to share my story on this one. I got this bottle, which is almost empty, just before COVID on sale at Corte Ingles, 40 for 50ml bottle. I never owned any Chloe fragrance, and never bought any after, but this was love at first smell. It's beautiful! Sure not going to say anything that has not already has been said. It makes you feel clean, feminine, classy, calm. Love wearing this at night after shower, but this definitely can be worn just as much with a nice dress for a night out. I got this together with a bottle of eau Florale. Both are beauties on their own. After wearing it for a few days I discovered how much sought after this is and sadly discontinued, so I called the Cort Ingles, telling them to save the left over bottles as I needed a backup!! So here I am being spare with this beauty and 60% down on my first bottle, but wow I am glad I still have 2 hidden in a corner. I Thought I would sell them one day, but this is something that I cannot do ever!

Mi piacciono tanto tutti i Love di Chloè: il classico per la stagione fredda e l'eau florale per la primavera/estate (ma entrambi sono fantastici sempre). Anche questo Love eau intense è speciale, ma per un altro motivo: non amo indossarlo, ma per me rappresenta un piccolo viaggio olfattivo e mi piace ogni tanto farmi spruzzare una mouillette in profumeria e tenermela in borsa per sentire l'evoluzione di questo profumo. Si apre con una forte vaniglia molto femminile, per niente secca ma umida e balsamica, quasi liquorosa. Quindi si assesta su qualcosa che mi riporta a quando ero bambina in spiaggia: un meraviglioso profumo "caldo ma fresco", molto naturale ma ricercato, evidentemente simile a qualche crema abbronzante sentita molti anni fa :) Poi subentra una fase talcata molto simile al Love classico, ma un po' più aromatica, e infine percepisco una scia che mi ricorda un connubio fra My name di Trussardi e Legni fruttati Erbolario... strano ma vero! Comunque delizioso.

This is the typical perfume that has made its way into my heart. I got a sample of it in my perfume shop and decided to try. Wearing it the first day, just after spritzing it on I thought it was "nice", but not soooo special. Then the flowers came out, one after the other, and I thought "waaaaaay too much", I am not usually a fan of these big florals and I thought of it being a very sophisticated perfume, something a little bit "old-lady perfume", nothing for teens and twenty-somethings... rather for the elegant ladies over 40. But then came the drydown, and I fell in love. This soft, powdery vanilla! Just the way I love it! Soooo great! I truly couldn't stop sniffing my wrist - and the best thing is that it lasts almost forever. Since I discovered the wonders of the drydown, I must say I like the top and middle notes better. And, I must admit, it is also time for me to grow up - with an "adult" perfume, he he! ;)

I wore Love, Chloe edp as my signature for about 4-5 years. That stuff was AMAZING. Like, literally perfect. I was late to finding out about the Intense version and have only had 1 bottle. The Intense version is all the perfect fluffy sophistication of the original except with a more dense quality and a big dollop of vanilla in the dry down. The Intense is not gourmand, it just hints at the edges of that territory. I can honestly say that Love, Chloe edp and Love, Chloe Intense are the best mainstream releases of the 2010s, hands down. I would describe them as if Guerlainade was recreated for a mainstream brand. Very retro inspired, but cheeky, playful modern scents for adult women. The Intense is a bit more sexy. I’m nearing the end of my bottle and starting to eye the $250 bottles on eBay. A ridiculous travesty that these were discontinued. 10/10 Sublime @henri345que below has written a perfect review 👌🏻

Someone long ago mentioned here that it’s reminiscent of Guerlain works. Hmmm...plausible but not entirely. Love Intense fails to make natural its signature Chloe base; to me this still smells synthetic like in Ricci’s Deci Dela: a sharp rose and musk combo. However, the use of royal colored flowers is outstanding, giving it a ruminant feel. I also find it shares the watery quality as with some of Guerlain’s high-browed offerings which despite listing notes of intense nature (vanilla, benzoin etc.), one gets a restrained accord. Both beautiful nonetheless. Opening is juicy and fruity; I’m wondering why rose isn’t declared as note. Then quickly to the heart of purple florals and vanilla. It leans slightly gourmand and may make one remember violet candies. On to its drydown, a lighthearted vanilla and musk with vestiges of the color purple. Pleasant and well-rounded.

Although I'm a guy, I have to write about this perfume, because it makes a statement. At first, when I smelled this one, I was not impressed at all, I thought this is the kind of fragrance that tries way too hard. Yesterday I was in a local department store and I decided to take a sniff of all Love Chloe's (the original, EDP Intense, Eau Florale). I sprayed a little on paper cards and EDP Intense was sooo much better this time. What popped into my mind was Christmas, somehow. So I decided to put a little bit on my wrist. At first I thought this has absolutely no sillage. But as time went by I started to smell this lovely fragrance. It smells powdery, clean, soapy, sweet, spicy, warm, unique, gourmand. This sits well on the skin too, and has good longevity. I will of course test this for a while now. I would give 10 points out of 10 now.

I bought this about 2 years ago reasonably priced on the grey market and stored it away, only discovering it last night as I sift through my collection to list items for sale. I decided to open and having tested it I chose to keep this one. It’s very intense in a sweet but not cloying way. I am not being overwhelmed by violets or purple flowers, and I am pretty sure this is very similar to Angel’s Dust by Francesca Bianchi. I can see Chloe Love and Chloe Love intense are both now ridiculously priced on eBay as they’ve been discontinued. If you love this and must have it without the stupid price tag, try to get a sample of Angel’s Dust and see if it satisfies your obsession. Angel dust is also offered as extrait so you’re going to get more bang for your buck. My opinion only, hope it is helpful.

This is a very nice surprise! The original Chloe Love is a powdery, vintage 70's scent - it achieves the brief very well without being "old lady-ish" and is more then pleasant. But Eau Intense is a notch above it: in the opening notes, I get leather, which I love - I guess it is the iris. I could not check how the notes developped as I tested this fragrance on a strip of paper. I found the strip in my handbag 2 days ago, and the drydown is still very strong (made my bag smell beautiful). I get spicy vanilla, with just a hint of flowers, which stops it from being sickly. This drydown is a warm skin scent, and I think I will invest in a bottle for the winter as my boss is currently wearing my signature Coco Mademoiselle. And the added bonus is that the bottle is very handbag friendly!

The elegant, brilliantly balsamic warm but dewy purple floral delicacy of this fragrance is unparalelled. It's beauty and formula seems to withstand all olfactive deceptions, always maintaining it's glorious beauty without Ever being distorted by other molecular scent influence. Even when i was sick with a stomachflu this never tired me or turned on me. Unlike nearly every other fragrance i own and especially those woody amber ones. I stand perplexed that there isn't one fragrance in this whole world that even comes remotely close to this discontinued diamond. The original fragrance Love by Chloe was the beauty that captured my heart and senses, but this flanker is a soulmate of a fragrance. If it wasn't discontinued i could and would only wear this.

This is a really nice one! I love the original Love, Chloe EDP too and you can tell these are sisters. I honestly like the opening of Eau Intense better because it lacks the sharp-ish pink pepper and the hyacinth is much more subdued. Then I get all the melange of purple flowers and powder which is what they mostly have in common with Love,Chloe. The drydown goes to an entirely different direction though. Still retains some of the powderyness but gets more balmy, creamy/ambery instead of creamy/starchy here. I like the drydown of this one a bit less than Love, Chloe and if anything it's not as intense despite the name. Still, I enjoy it a lot and wouldn't mind a bottle sometime.

Breathtakingly beautiful purple perfection. I love and still have 15 or so mls left of original Chloe Love, and I thought it would be impossible for me to love the flanker even more, but yes, Chloe Love Intense grabbed me by the strings of my soul and is not letting go. Why oh why did I not buy a bottle when it was readily available? I mourn many discontinued fragrances, but this one probably hurts the most. This perfume was created only 15 years ago... I probably sound like a Karen, but truly, what has happened to designer perfumes that they used to be able to produce masterpieces like that not that long ago, and these days everything smells like each other's flanker?

Amazing purple flower dream of a perfume, I have both the Love, Chloe EDP and Love, Chloe Intense versions. Both are lovely in their own right and in different weather. Intense seems to cover a slightly wider temperature range for me. Sad that this beauty has been discontinued, really happy I bought a backup when I originally got this. This forms a wonderful powdery purple cloud around me, it feels softer and more comforting that the EDP. The vanilla doesn't seem to be as pronounced on me as it seems to be with others but is probably what provides the softness and gentler touch. I love both the original Love and the Intense, in fact since tomorrow is a discount day I am thinking of buying both. Love is one of the most beautiful, intensely feminine, sophisticated fragrances, complicated and spicey enough, very unique and defining with great sillage. Though the Intense is very similar, a few notes have been toned down and others were added making it passionate as well. What a gorgeous scent for an evening occasion, a date or any occasion you want to feel like a woman and exceptionally beautiful and seductive. Both are making it to my faves. Cannot decide between the two which is why I am thinking of getting a small bottle of both.

I do love this intense version of Love, but the original (my signature of 5+ years) suits my chemistry and lifestyle better. Though gorgeous, this one smells very formal to my nose, like something you’d wear to a black-tie event, not an everyday/signature scent. It’s the original Chloe but minus the bright opening of neroli + pink pepper, and oomphed up in the base with vanilla and balsam, giving the scent more weight and body, and abit more sweetness and warmth. It’s still powdery, but not as powdery clean or as radiant as the original, rather it’s dense and richer. Monstrous sillage, but in a beautiful way. Very classy, fit for a princess.

so, i was looking for something classy, something a little more grown up, but still with a little vanilla for my vanilla loving heart :P i tested out a few scents, on paper and arms, got home, pet my dog and suddenly she stopped cuddling onto my leg and started sniffing my left arm. she has never done that before so i sniffed, to checked what it was and it was the original "Love, Chloe". Next day i went back to the store to test it again and saw the "Intense" version. The notes said vanilla and i was sold. It still smells grown up and subtle but still enough vanilla to make me happy :) Very lovely, warm, deep scent to wear every day :)

I bought this blind as I was fairly sure I would like it, being a massive iris fan. Dry, distinctly iris based, powdery, purple flowers and a musky vanilla dry-down. Like Guermantes review, I also immediately picked up the association to L'Heure Bleu - must be the heliotrope that gives the slightly oily, waxy smell at the opening. I'm not a great fan of this part, but it is fleeting and soon dries down to that powdery floral vanilla. The lilac is quite prominent too and I get a similarity to Guerlains Champs Elysees due to this. Very nice - great scent for the office as long as not sprayed too heavily, makes you feel fresh and lovely.

Just purchased a decant sample on Ebay of Love Chloe Intense & Love Chloe Florale. I love both however Love Chloe EDP will be my forever fave. It smells like they isolated the powdery fluffy part of the original. Sprayed on my left hand it was so strong and my right hand very subtle skin scent. On my clothes wow it's a whole new scent! It's beautiful. The whole Bottle is going for around $200 so my little sample is perfect. I want to wear a sweater and smell like this puffy cloud in the winter. So if you want Love Chloe without the Orange Blossom and Pepper this is for you.

Today I almost bought a bottle of Chloe Love Intense blindly, but fortunately in the last minute the seller found the tester and I could test it on my skin. Hmm..I have to say on paper this essence is a really stronger and much intense than the original Love -(which I love), but neighter I nor the seller wasn't able to make difference between the two fragrances on my skin. :)(Love Intense was less powdery and more soapy on paper, on me exactly the same as original Love)My chemistry is playing with me again.:) So I remain of the original Love.:)

I was out of the original Love, so I decided to give the Intense a try. I was hoping it would smell exactly like the original (only stronger), but the Intense has a prominent powdery note which out shines the lilac and iris. I might still prefer the original's flowery notes over this one. The Intense is a very nice fragrance by itself, but I think layering the two would be amazing! If you were wondering if you need both the Love Chloe and Love Chloe Eau Intense in your collection, I say go for it!

This is freaking gorgeous. I've had it for a while, yet I keep rediscovering it every fall. Everybody bellow, who called this Fragrance elegant, classy, fit for a princes, proper but not boring... are absolutely right. I have no other words but heartbreakingly beautiful, deep and womanly. I think I could wear this every day, since it's long-lasting, warming and non-demanding. And it makes me feel good. Attractive. Seen. Pampered. Taken care of. This should have been named Womanity instead. Love

Now when I have it I find the Intense version less overwhelming than EDP. What I wanted to reduce in EDP is sillage which is monsterous and harsh. Intense smells deeper and flows around the skin right from the beggining although I can't say there's no sillage. On the contrary it is translucent but quite persuasive. I'd say to all who wants to choose between EDP and Intense that if you are after the same as me (less into your face scent but with a beautiful translucent sillage) go for Intense.

It literally smells like wearing you favourite cashmere jumper. After 30 min I get a subtly soapy, deep iris, heliotrophe, hyacint, vanilla as well as some very round and soft woodsy and balsamic notes. Also recall smelling something almondy or nutty after another 30 minutes. There's some nostalgia vibes going on with this one. It makes me think of a European city on a late summer afternoon, brick and concrete warm from the sunlight, and a flowershop about to close for the day.

Chloe Love Eau Intense is the perfect blend of sophistication and sensuality! Considering how much I love the original Love, Chloe I knew I had to get the eau intense version. I am so happy I did because you still get the lovely, soft lilac top notes with a powdery iris undertone. The vanilla note is more prominent which gives the eau intense version a more sensual vibe. Incredibly chic, very classy, and great for evening wear! I absolutely love it!

LOVE this perfume! I feel like "me" when I wear it. I love the original Love Chloe (as well as the eau florale)but there is something special about the Intense version. It's richer, more mature, and so incredibly beautiful. It's got the makeup powder note that I adore, plus a beautifully blended iris and vanilla...it's just bliss. Longevity is great and the bottle is one of my very favorites.

I’m down to my last fews sprays of this. Maybe one more wearing. I’m going to MISS THIS SO MUCH. Love, Chloe & Love, Chloe eau Intense were the closest things to signature scents for me from about 2012-2016. Something about these powdery florals that just suited me perfectly. Projection & sillage were moderate too. Such an absolute shame they’re gone. GORGEOUS.

If violet was a color, it’d be this perfume 💜. Chloe Love Intense is a powdery floral based scent with prominent notes of Iris, hyacinth and vanilla. The iris makes it powdery and the vanilla, somehow sweet. You’ll love this if you want something classy, inviting and confident. Because this is good and has been discontinued, it’s being ridiculously overpriced.

If I have to choose between this and the original I would go with this!! Both are quite similar, but this intense version has a nice twist which makes it superior, and then is indeed stronger, very nice for the winter, I found it by chance in a shop and it was the last bottle and immediately I decided to buy it!

Ibought today YSL, Cinema and I received a sample of the wonderful perfume Chloe, Love Intense. And I loooooove Chloe. On me it smells a little like cognac:) I don't know why, but every time I purchase a perfume, I get a sample that I love even more. XOXO

It is like my favorite cashmere sweater - soft, gentle, timeless, feminine. I love the nuttiness of the heliotrope and here it is in its best company of the other lilac and gentle flowers. I keep as a treasure the last 5th ml. that remained in the bottle.

I love this fragrance. It is a little heady at the begining but settles beautifully and stays on, The florals are dominent in this one but are balanced nicely to a powdery musky feel.

I'm a romantical 17 years old and I love, really love this fragance. But I don't know if it's so ''adult wear'' for me... But I think that I'm gonna buy it,... what do you think?

Flanker done right! Speaks the same language as the original edp but with a deeper vibe and the vanilla amped up. Elegant, soft and prim but not boring.

This version is just as beautiful as the original! Stunning. This Love Chloe franchise has made an outstanding start! Unique and lovely fragrance.

I absolutely love this one. The smell of vanilla is gorgeous. It is very long lasting, spray once or twice in the morning and it lasts all day.

I love it so much, saving my last 15ml only using once a year 🥹 Girls/guys is it time to start a petition to return this piece of art to life?

Warm Deep Powdery Slightly sweet Sensual Longlasting I love everything about it. It's such a unique and lovely smell.

For powdery scents lovers this is a must have (along with Teint de Neige of course). Gorgeous.

The original Love is my signature, and this is just glorious. A stronger, sweeter, much more opulent and 'dressier' version, Love Intense smells like bottled gold. Whereas the original has a stylishly clean sort of shampoo-vibe, this one feels more voluptuous and decadent...but they are very similar otherwise. At the core, both are basically the same sophisticated lilac rich floral with a very powdery start, morphing into something clean, feminine, sensuous and balmy. It's very potent so just a few spritzes will do. This is the sort of scent I would wear when I want to feel rich, glamorous, intelligent, sensual and drenched in luxury. I immediately feel like an 'ultimate' version of me, and I can almost hear myself speaking 6 different languages, wearing diamonds, and 20,000 dollar gowns on my perfectly sleek and flawless figure. I would wear it for fancy evening outings, or to an upscale jazz lounge with my littlest LBD and red lips. It wouldn't really smell out of place even if you chose to wear it daily, just as long as you're dressed for it, it needs a good pair of heels, perfect hair and abit of lipstick at the very least...absolutely no track pants, t-shirts or saggy blue jeans, no! This is the scent that lifts my spirits and makes me want to go out there and grab myself a large hunk of life, and do it with every single ounce of style, sophistication, sensuality and wit that I can squeeze out of me. Because of that, I definitely prefer to save Love Intense for special occasions or when I need that emotional boost, it is not an everyday scent for me, that is why the original remains as my signature. Scent breakdown, from 1st spritz: 30 seconds: Hmm...this smells like something I could fall in love with! 10-20 minutes: Oh no!! it settled down to talcum powder! Nothing but a ton of talcum powder!!! AA-Choo!!! 30-40 minutes: the annoying talcum powder is fading away, and a rich opulent gorgeous feminine scent is emerging...mmmm... 1 hour: Okay this is amazing! I LOVE it. LOVE. Just like the original Love, I'm willing to endure the first 30 minutes of yucky powder to get to this! 3 hours: That same gorgeous scent is still wafting around me, and it's getting abit sweeter, warmer and fuzzier...sooo good.... 5 hours: It's still there, not even fading yet :) 7 hours: On my skin the scent is soft by now, but still going strong on fabric. 12 hours: Close to the skin, a soft clean scent...still very detectable on fabric even though it's not leaving a trail like the first 7-8 hours. update 20 hours: As I was waking up from my sleep, I caught this scent on my wrist, what a beautiful scent to wake up to :) It's still there, soft as an angel's breath, but there. Tip: The application method that works best for me is 2 to 3 large squirts on fabric (usually the front of my blouse for eg.), and 1 large squirt distributed between both my wrists and neck. If you dislike the 'powdery' start (though it does fade away completely, some days it can be a bother to me), then I suggest you concentrate spraying it on fabric and the back of the neck (just beneath your hair), this is a scent that develops absolutely stunningly on fabric, it cocoons me in its clean, soft golden haze of a scent and leaves the most gorgeous trail.

I haven't worn this scent for more than 9 years! But back then, when I discovered this line in the shops and the world was all fruity floral and fruitchouli, I was so smitten, that I bought the regular EdP, its bodylotion and two large bottles of the Intense version - crazy. I stopped wearing it because my three pregnancies caused quite an olfactoric stir... Back than and now my DH thinks it smells like vintage 70tie or 80ties hairspray and I agree with this when it comes to the frist 15 minutes. The beginning is a bit chalky (the Iris?) and - dare I say - suffocating (Heliotrope?). In the regular EdP version I perceive this effect even more pronounced. But after some 15 minutes later it morphes into a beigey, addictive, powdery, floral, makeup-y veil, that is very sexy in an non offensive, je ne sais quoi kind of way. This is, what I imagined Chanel's "Beige" to be. On my rather dry skin it has moderate lasting power (I applied this morning, 4 hours ago) and I still get whiffs of it, but it is slowly turning into a skin scent. I prefer the Intense version because the Vanilla is amped up here and makes the scent a bit snugglyer and less perfumey than the regular EdP, also definitively suited for colder months. I cannot imagine this version in summer, frankly not even the regular one. Its projection is discrete-moderate (wearing 4 sprays today) and I find it perfect for office too.This Love,Chloé line is a gift from women to women. It is the sort of scent, that women comment and compliment, but I don't see guys being attracted to it, seduced by it or even notice it. It is too restraint for that. But I get compliments from my six year old son ;-) After wearing it several days in a row I have the following feeling about it: Imagine yourself preparing for a party. Your skin is perfect, the hair shiny and healthy and your dress has a minimalistic cut in an expensive heavy nude silk. You feel so feminine and classy. But then you arrive at the party and there is lots of bright colors, ruffles, drapes, complicated hair-does and red lipsticks. And although beautyful you just don't get noticed. I think this was the problem with Love, Chloé, when it was lunched. It should have been more amplified, more exagerated (like the Narciso Poudrée) to exist next to Mademoiselle and Her. Neither in the commercial nor in the print add the model is really seeking eyecontact with the spectator. So why should we watch her?

Intense is one of the last so called modern fragnances that I like, use and want to stay. If I must find one word to describe it it's a word elegance. This is epitome of elegancy. It calls for elegant women. No, this is not scent a person can camouflage by "it's modern I am not spirituality elegant but I can wear it." It doesn't work. This is coat that fits born elegance. This scent is in its essence elegant. Smells elegant, allures elegance and it enhances spiritually elegant woman. Imagine Grace Kelly wearing it. It is possible to imagine that. Now try to imagine Natalie Portman wearing this. It doesn't work. That's what this perfume is. It's caractéristique expensive, luxurious, clean, attractive, powdery, irritating, intelligent and decent. This is not sexy or vulgare perfume. This is scent that doesn't wear mini skirts or tennis shoes. It wears long gloves and pearls. In its composition it is mature. I wore Intense when I meet my future husband. He memorised it forever. Top notes: Iris, Heliotrope, pink pepper (I can detect it) Heart Notes: Hyacinth, Lilac, Wisteria, wood (I can't define, maybe it's artificial) Base Notes: Talcum, Peru Balsam, Vanilla, Musk, rice powder (musk gave a bit of a sweaty sensation... So nice). Looks simple. But the dosage and mixture is controlled. It opens nice. It settles nice. It dries down nice. It's very beautiful perfume. Great quality. Perfumers Louise Turner, Nathalie Gracia-Cetto Bottle is elegant. In whole. With that wonderful chain attached to cover. Simply elegant. Beautiful. (Warning. If you don't like Heart notes, don't buy this.)

Chloé Love Eau Intense preserves the powdery iris in the original Love, Chloé. And it's not necessarily much stronger, but instead, deeper and warmer due to promient vanilla and heliotrope, and even appears a bit milky. It's sweeter, but just slightly. It's cozy and fluffy, and if compared side by side, its warmth makes the original Love, Chloé seem cooler and more mineral, even edgier than how I perceived it before. This tender warmth provided by vanilla and heliotrope leaves after about 5 hours. And at this moment, the drydowns of Eau Intense and Love, Chloé don't seem to differ a lot. However, after about 6 hours, a mineral and slightly salty amber kicks in, bringing in another depth and warmth to the drydown. The sillage of Love Eau Intense is moderate on me, and the longevity is around 10 hours. Although Love Eau Intense is no doubt very powdery, it's not aggressive, and the sweetness of vanilla is also well balanced so that it doesn't get annoying. I highly recommend it to those who are looking for a vanilla floral fragrance and adores powdery texture.

The comparison between Love Chloe and Love Eau Intense Chloe. I am wearing two testers on my wrists today. They both are lovely, warm, comforting and very feminine. I'd say, Love is a bit greener and Love Intense is a touch sweeter and more intense, as the name suggests. I think I would prefer Love Eau Intense as it has beautiful vanilla in and the heliotrope here is more pronounced. These two notes, I suppose, give the Love Eau Intense some intriguing and retro aura. Retro being said in a very good way, not 'old woman' at all. I would say, Love Eau Intense is better for the evening wear while Love would do for the office. UPD: Projection is moderate and the longevity is about 2-3 hours on me with Love and about 6 hours with Love Eau Intense, should be staying longer on clothes. Both fragrances are very cosy and warm so should be just great for autumn and winter. To me Love Eau Intense is definitely the winner between the two. Might go for the full bottle

Wow, I can't believe this is going for so much these days! I found my bottle at a discounter last summer and snatched it up! It was a blind buy. I spritzed it 3 times on myself and almost immediately began to regret it. There's something a little too sharp that was poking through and making me feel nauseated. I decided to try it again today with just ONE spray (since I was just wanting to re-test) and I'm happy to report that I like it much better. This is really a powdery explosion of purple flowers, just like in the pyramid. I love iris and heliotrope, but I'm not as familiar with how the other flowers are supposed to smell. The vanilla really saves this, and I'm thinking that if I'm actually going to wear this, I need to layer on another vanilla just to keep it more balanced. Overall, this is a pretty makeup-y smell. If it had some oud it would be stellar. I may try layering on some Nemat Arabian Wood oil to see if it transforms it.

Ι would't say this one is more intense. It is certainly more powdery and has more vanilla, whereas the original to my nose is more floral and the pepper is really pronounced. But, to me, the original love has more sillage and longevity. Those WHO love the original, will love this one too, but if you are looking for a more robust , nigh time , wintery version, I don' think this is the one. I like to combine the two of them, for the longevity and the powderness. Love intense is very alike to chanel nr5, a modern version of it. A really pleasure, both of them, I use them in summer and spring, I like my perfumes to be more intense in the winter. Love it is , then...

I love the smell of Love, Chloe but unfortunately it turns disgusting on me. This one turns much more spicy and smells very reminiscent of leather (which isn't one of the notes listed but it really does) but I like it. On the blotter it was just a deeper richer fragrance then the original. It smells strangely masculine on me so I'd probably layer something a little more floral or sweet to make it a bit more feminine.
